Waverider
"Captain Lance. We've got a call from S.T.A.R. Labs". Gideon alerts Sara, who a minute ago stood silently waiting for their next takeoff.
"Bring it up". Just then a figure in hologram form popped up. Iris West. Looking dreadful. "Iris?!".
"Sara! You and your team... come back to Central City! There's an invasion...Barry is down...can't keep...Team Arrow down...". Static noises can be heard from Sara's side but she's noting most of it down. Something about invasion in Central City but her heart bleeds when she heard the last lines. "...Oliver and Kara are attacking...Please come back...We need you". As Iris's call fades.
"Gideon set our ship back to 2018". Sara ordered. Gideon complied, taking the Waverider back to the present time.
5 minutes later...
The whole crew joined in the mains together led by Sara Lance as they discuss what's happening in Central City.
"Wait so to confirm this straight. Kara and Oliver are rampaging in Central City possibly even all the other city?". Sara nods as repsonse.
"Well this isn't the first time I've seen Oliver gone rogue. He's done it before". Catching Sara's attention, one Ray didn't notice. "But for Kara, she would never become something so monstrosity".
"What about Damian and Nora?", Amaya questions knowing they still have to sort fight against them, again, at some point.
"We'll worry about that later. Right now they need us". Sara's hold of this problem as delay as they've got bigger things to worry about.
Central City
Not long after taking off with the Waverider. The time ship arrives in the present ready for whatever's in store for them. The only thing that's straight in their heads is Oliver and Kara going rogue.
Exiting the ship, the team set foot in a union they don't recognise. It's more like a war zone.
"Seems 2 years have changed a lot". Nate's opinion on where they're in.
"Are you really gone Ollie? Taken away because of how much the world has changed?", Sara questions emotionally and blankly. The team noticed her cries. Oliver was one of Sara's closest friends. "What a fucking idiot I am". Sara's stress.
Then an nearby explosion occurred prompting the team to check on.
After crossing through multiple broken roads, laid out as rocks, the team come across something that'd haunt them in their dreams.
"Giant-mutated spiders?!", Ray exclaimed.
A hundred giant spiders came creepy crawling. 'What has this world got turned into?'. That's the same thoughts everyone in the team had as they make a run for it.
Ray, in his Atom suit, shot a few blasts whilst Sara threw a few Shurikens to throw down a few damages on their 'predators'. Both attacks barely made a dent but the blasts from the Atom were enough to slow them down. A bit. With their attacks effortless, the team paces quickly back to the ship only to have it destroyed by a nearby blast.
The Legends were shocked. With no ship, they're completely helpless. Right before their very own eyes, Supergirl appeared from the smoke.
"Leaving so soon?", Kara inquiries as the team gritted their teeth. They didn't even notice an explosive arrow was shot to the ground right in front of them but Sara did.
At a quick second, Sara notifies the team to duck from the explosion's forces. Most of them got badly affected unfortunately. Something was different about, it's more effective like a grenade. Lucky for Nate, he materialised himself into a metal-shaped figure. Ray's suit took most of the hits now remained as damaged. Most of the team are heavily injured from this attack. Sara got staggered, she barely escaped some if it painted bruises on her but all in all she can still fight.
The Green Arrow becomes apparent to the team's view point. Oliver requests Kara to do her another favour. "Leave Sara out!. She's mine!". His voice is so low-pitched that anyone could assume that he's growling like a mad dog. Sara heard his line. "Get up! I've been waiting or this moment for a long time!".
White Canary and Green Arrow. A rematch though they fought plenty of times in their civilian persona.
The duo clash while the remaining members who stand fight against Kara though it'd be pointless
Sara flashes the memory when she fought Oliver when the dominators invaded. That was when she got brainwashed charged to kill Oliver and Barry. This time it's Oliver who's in a dark side. If she's going to save his Oliver from the darkness then she needs to find away. Some way that can bring him back from the light.
Both duellers fight evenly combat-to-combat. Swifting their legs to strike, and their arms and fists for a push force. None were met in their favour. Until Oliver pushes Kara back from a kick on her guts. Using this chance, Oliver punches Sara so hard that it made her fall distance in circular movements till she remained stationary.
"I will grant you a quick death that you'll never feel ever...". His statement got depleted by a massive punch that knocked the latter unconscious.
The rest of the Legends did all they could to land a push on Kara but they are in no tool to bleed her. "You're all weak. I'll make sure you'll...". A quick sonic shockwave pushed her a few distances away to a crash.
Oliver and Kara are down. Team Legends look to their sides. Seeing Iris with an ultra sonic gun, and Elongated Man.
"Hurry up before they wake up!". Iris requests in a tone that expresses her true fear. With that said, Team Legends grabbed the unconscious Sara as well as all the other remaining members to Iris's and Ralph's point.
This is a matter of life and death.
