Chapter 1: Act 5
"So this was the person you were referring to when you said you were going to substitute yourself… you're on thin ice young man, thin ice" A man in black clothing, messy hair, and a scarf says in the most deadpan tone Sosuke has ever seen….
"Same as usual Aizawa-san… Same as usual…." Komaki replies before silence fills the room then "Anyway! His name is Kazuma Kiryu, my grandfather, the man who build the legacy of the dojo, mentored him, I chose him because he bested both of us using our own techniques and different ones that are exclusive to him, His quirk is unknown to the two of us considering the circumstances that both of us come from, so it will take some time for it to manifest" The boy says proudly and relaxed before being swiftly interrupted by Eraserhead, In a tone of disbelief and suspicion saying.
"How am I supposed to trust this man when he doesn't even know his own quirk!?" Aizawa finally irritated by the length of time the boy took to approach him
"He could be a fraud for all I know, I barely trust your personal anecdote because of how late you sent out the reply of the contract, I would've trusted you're old man because he personally trained him according to you! He met you back in your world but that's the only thing I have for his credentials! For all I know he could've killed a man!"
He sighs and settles down a little "I'll take your word for it…." He turns to the Dragon and says "but if you aren't what he chalked you up to be….. you're gone" The Dragon only replies with a "Sure…." Before quickly asking "So who are your students?". Shouta hands him a document listing the names and quirks of the students, "Since you aren't familiar with your quirk yet, I'll have to periodically use mine just in case it goes berserk on the students, you better learn to use it after a few classes, I don't like wasting eye drops on an idling man." Aizawa states before leading him into the training grounds. His students already present, just about to start training and sparring.
Sosuke leaves the room and says "Strange how Mt Lady was not here at all… Anyway I'll get going Kiryu-san! Good luck with the kids!" before dissapearing
"This man right here, you may have seen him before…"Chatter picks up as the man in the news report is right there before him, "His name is Kazuma Kiryu, Unfortunately the Komaki school's main teachers can't teach here due to the fact that their master is sickly. This man right here, according to Komaki's grandson and Komaki himself, are better than them at their own technique, unfortunately we don't have a clue on his quirk yet and neither does he, which is why I'll be keeping him in watch for now"
Iida raises his hand "Sensei! How are we sure this man is going to be competent at all?! His only proof for proficiency were the delinquents and hearsay!"
"Go ask Komaki, not me, I'm pretty suspicious of him too which is why I'm keeping an extra eye on him." Aizawa says as he goes on and as he goes to his sleeping bag says "Anyway… Kiryu-san over here is going to take the wheel, I'll be at the back if ever his quirk manifests out of nowhere and goes berserk." Aizawa subtly eyes Midoriya saying to himself. "Good thing this isn't my first time dealing with this".
The Dragon of Dojima then takes the centerstage "Don't worry Aizawa-san, I'm not a fraud…" Silence fills the grounds with concerned students before Kazuma breaks the ice and "Alright, so today's training is going to be on quirkless hand to hand combat, from what I've seen in your world, there are situations where using your quirk could come at the cost of collateral damage or a civilian life, though before we get to that, I would like all of you to take a 15 minute warm up, it is up to you if you want to use your quirks or not during that time period, then we will get to the test." Kiryu instructs before temporarily leaving the class to their own devices.
Kazuma, left to his own devices, can hopefully find out his quirk by the end of the session and says to himself "I'll see how my quirk works Komaki-Kun mentioned that it might be connected to heat so…" He takes a jug of Tauriner +, raising his heat a little causing him to glow his default blue, "Nothing New" he says to himself as he takes another bottle, this time labeled 'maximum' rather than 'plus' causing him to enter extreme heat mode or rage mode. Kiryu charges up his heat and is quickly met by the red eyes of Shouta Aizawa, the sleep deprived man is surprised when this 'quirk' couldn't be disabled.
"What was that just now!? Was that your quirk!?" Shouta says in disbelief that he didn't deactivate or nor trusts the man has no clue what his quirk is.
"I'm sorry for not explaining but, this is heat it enhances the body in small ways, from what Komaki said to me, it could be the trigger for my quirk, I'm only going through the different gauges that my body can let me…"
Aizawa exits the bag and walks to Kiryu to say to him"(it could be an accumulation emitter type, stay vigilant) I'll give you the chance to try and use it on the kids for a moment, you can decline if you want."
"No thanks, I'd rather give them a fair fight." Kazuma replies
"That's good to hear. You can always come in here any time you want to test or train it."
Aizawa tells the Dragon as he goes back to his sleeping bag but with it more open to view the Dojima no Ryu's capabilities.
Kiryu returns to his heat testing, not trying to overextend because he still has to train the students, but as this was going on, chatter amongst the students begins to pick up during their sparring and training sessions as Ashido asks the simple question.
"From what I've seen, he's less scary than I thought, what are everyone elses thoughts on this? I had a feeling he would've went" She clears her throat and attempts to imitate a voice of a man "Hora You think ur so tough huh, here I smack you in the face because im maaaaaad…."
Awkward silence fills the room till Ejiro breaks it with "sigh there was an attempt alright~~…. Aside from that he looks incredibly manly, I want to know if he acts the part too" in a tone of excitement and intrigue of the Dragon before quickly being interrupted by-
Shoji saying, "Hold off on the wishful thinking for now, not even Aizawa knows what to say about him." Tokoyami continues cutting the flow with a serious question "How are we sure he isn't a villain? The Komaki school is reputable only because they have 2 related and reputable teachers."
"This is point is further proven because the only proof we have of his combat experience are 2 unseen skirmishes with a small group of punks most of us are capable of beating…" Yaoyorozu, now in the conversation adds to the fuel.
"Guess we'll find out in a quick moment" Everyone thinks to themselves as the man walks towards them freshly done testing himself.
"Alright Class, all of you know this is meant to be training for hand to hand quirkless combat, the basic ground rules are that you cannot use your quirk in training. I'm giving the exception to Yaoyorozu since weapons disarming is part of the outline…. Its fine if you don't use it in this exercise though…." Kiryu sighs to himself at what he is going to throw himself at "It's all of you versus me without using your quirks, this is to test how well you can deal with fighting without quirks."
The entire class erupts into a chatter once more, realizing that this possibly fraudulent man is insane for requesting them to fight all of them.
Iida quickly raises his hand to ask an urgent as everyone's eyes move to Shoji "Kiryu-sensei, how would Shoji fit into this considering he has 6 arms and cannot separate them temporarily!?"
"I've already considered that… Shoji is still part of the test, he is part of the exception and so is Yaoyorozu." Kiryu answers, filling the room in silence for a minute before going going "Alright, first come first serve…. You only have 10 minutes to strike me down to where I cant get up in the moment"
Kazuma braces in brawler stance, irradiating no battle heat, with his arms in a defensive stance waiting for one of them to strike first. He notices the ketchup and mustard duo scheming something before he knows it, Bakugo charges with an open right hook, only for the Brawler to be unphased by the strike and headbutts the momentum back at him causing the ash-blonde to fall over for the redhead to jump on the fallen person's cupped hands launching him into the air for a clear and direct punch with the ash-ash-blonde quickly recovering returning into his fighting stance. Kiryu seeing this attempt to gain the high ground, blocks for the just now falling Kirishima from above. He blocks the strike and forces his arms out to his sides to recoil the aspiring red man back. And Izuku appears from behind hitting him square in the forehead, able to make him flinch a bit. Deku keeps his fist on him, confused how that wasn't enough to strike the man down, only for the broccoli-haired kid to get his armed swung by the Dragon's, knocking him back a few feet….
Kazuma Kiryu
"Come at me with all you have got! I'm here to show I'm no fraud!" The former Yakuza says in an energized tone.
"Heh, the old man's got some spunk-" Bakugo says before being bombarded by a flurry of precise punches and kicks to the head and chest, nearly half of them coming into contact barely making him get into a guarding position. The man is now glowing a bright pink. He quickly cocks his fist at the boy's stomach sending him flying a few feet.
1-A, now realizing how much of an underestimation they gauged this man to be in, observes him in combat more intently as the traffic light hair colored trio are fighting him. Midoriya isn't that quick to rush him when that observation hit, rather letting Kirishima let out all of his moves beforehand. The redhead then exhausts all of his punches and kicks and everyone picks up on the pattern. It's Midoriya and Iida's turn to take hits at him. Both of them enter the stance, Kazuma goes on the offensive on Midoriya and takes a hook before the boy dodges, Iida takes this opportunity to roundhouse kick him but is quickly blocked from below, the man then pushes the leg away. The green haired boy sees this as an opening and uppercuts behind him, only for it to be met by his elbow, cracking his fingers making him wince in a bit of pain as the Rusher uppercuts him down to the ground. Iida continues kicking and rushing, strangely still able to go somewhat toe to toe with him even if he cant land any of his kicks due to the amount of bobbing he is doing
"Fighting like a homeless businessman it seems!" Kiryu taunts Tenya, making Kazuma's heat rise and the glasses man's frustration increase.
The others are observing again as the Rusher is bobbing and dodging all his strikes. The former Yakuza ends the fun with a leg parry making him lose balance and palms him in the chin dropping him.
"Hmm… so he responds differently depending on the location on where attack lands…."Midoriya is mumbling to himself again
"The way he moves is like a kick boxer, if I can get close enough maybe I can get a hit! Sato, mind causing a distraction?"
"I gotcha!" The 6ft banana then runs at Kazuma. Bombarding him with random punches that were partially blocked. Kiryu not knowing this is a diversion, parries and releases a deep blue aura out of nowhere. He dashes around Rikido and begins to step at every hook he does until it reaches the tall boy. The punches connect to the head causing him to get stunned due to the force. The rushing continues as the deep blue aura continues to radiate. The counter bombardment ends with a quick sidekick to the face sending him to the pavement.
"What the!? His entire pattern of attack changed!" Izuku says to himself as his movement patterns began to change, it does not matter to him as he runs to the distracted man to kick him behind the knees. The kicks connect causing Midoriya to kick him by the sides knocking him back and down a few feet.
Kazuma "stays" down… Midoriya both surprised that it knocked him out and sad that the fight didn't last longer puts his guard down…. The Brawler abruptly gets up runs at him leaping over his body as he grabs his shoulders and slams his head against his, planting Deku's head onto the ground.
The others see this as a sign that he isn't invincible, boosts their confidence. Momo takes the charge with a wooden staff alongside Kaminari and Mina. The black haired woman swings and thrusts it, The Dragon dodges the staff, knees it in half and grabs the broken ends with the blunt side pointing outwards. Kaminari runs in with punch but it gets quickly slapped by the halves of the staff. He tries to run at him again with a kick before being smacked multiple times in the chest and head before getting his head clobbered on both sides by the halved sticks, knocking him down breaking the sticks in the process.
"This guy just improvised kali sticks!" Momo says to herself before trying to punch him in the face. Kazuma parries the strike again and goes for a swift punch but then suddenly. Uraraka parries the strike and elbows him to the stomach.
"Guh!? Good to see someone learned a scuffed version of the komaki parry" Kiryu surprised, compliments the girl for being the first to counter his strike.
"The internship was worth it!" Ochaco, realizing what Gunhead taught was a primer for his course, goes for the offensive with punches and kicks that only connect once. The class notices as Kiryu is more vigilant and cautious on where he lands his attacks
"(Be sure not to get tiger dropped from the blue)" He thinks to himself. This train of thought gets broken by Jiro swinging her punch onto him, barely connecting the hit.
"Never liked hitting girls…." He says to himself as Mineta is now running at him screaming "Heh…" Kazuma looks at the grape man. Kiryu stomps on the ground and irradiates a yellow aura. He grabs the midget and flings him to the two girls landing on their chest cushions cupping his hands on them while knocking the 3 down in the process. "EEEE!" The 2 scream, then slap and beat up the pervert.
"Damn, I didn't realize he was into that!" The Beast regrets the decision but at the same time it was for the sake of the fight so does not really think about it. Mina attempts to bonk the dragon with an oak practice katana but the man catches the object, pushing her away to keep (what is basically a stick) for himself. He discards the stick and throws it at a random direction, mistakenly hitting hagakure on the head by accident. Shoji comes in with multiple kicks, hesitant to use his arms considering the condition. Kiryu quickly performs a tiger drop sending him fly a few meters.
Aizawa finally seeing that Komaki was not just throwing a random person to substitute, smiles and says
"That ends the test, pleasantly surprised, Komaki wasn't wrong at all, good job."
Kiryu helps everyone get up. Giving them a hand at getting up with Bakugo being the only exception to reluctantly accept the offer.
"All the ones who tried to fight did a great job, extra goes to the ones who managed to actually get a hit" Kazzy goes on and continues, "Extra points for Uraraka for already knowing a basic version of the Komaki parry, she will be an example on how to perform it once we get there.". Iida quickly asks something for clarification
"Kiryu-sensei! What was that glo-"
"Don't call me sensei, just use -san"
"Apologies Kiryu-san. As I was saying… What was that glowing we just saw? Was that your quirk?"
"It's called heat, it enhances the body in very small ways, think of it as a lesser version of an adrenaline rush. The Pink one is called rush it makes me feel quick on the feet making me faster. The Orange one is called beast it makes me less susceptible to flinching. The blue one is brawler, it's a balance of both. The white one, which is invisible most of the time is called Dragon. It's a combination of all 3... I'm only showing it so you can read the type of attacks I will perform more clearly"
"I see!" Tenya adjusts his glasses
"Kiryu-san, why is it called Dragon? All the other ones sounded tamer compared to that one." Midoriya asks in curiosity
"Hng- Uhm….(Damn), Its because…. It makes me feel Like a Dragon…(That's a strange excuse but alright)"
"I see" The boy writes all of this down.
"Alright…" Kazuma suddenly changes tone.
"This ends our first session, you're all dismissed!" The class disperses back into training
Kiryu turns to Shouta "Aizawa-san, you've done a great job at teaching your students."
"Never expected that there was a side of you that cared at all."
Kazuma leaves the room, causing the entire class to erupt in a conversation
"He wasn't kidding when he said he could take all of us on." Shoji says.
Kaminari adds "He barely used a weapon, the only one I know was when he slapped me with Yaoyorozu's broken staff but immediately discarded them once he used it on me."
Mina surprised from that chaos asks "Did he even try against us?" Izuku feeling like it was necessary adds.
"It seems he specializes in evasion and counter attacks…. Though it might just be because he didn't want to hurt us considering he nearly broke my fingers" Deku fuels the conversation even more by adding
"Plus, I think we doubted him too much, we should've made our mind when we finished the meeting instead of before it."
Kirishima just says "He didn't want to hurt us after all".
"Though I think we should still stay vigilant, we don't know who he is as a person and what his intentions are…"
Kiryu goes back to the park to see the sight of giant spandex lady.
"Where were you?" Kazuma asks
Tekeyama replies with "Someone called me for a villain situation, apparently it was urgent"
"I see..."
"So how was the students?" Mt Lady says in a happy tone
Kiryu puts his hand on his chin, rubs it and says "They packed quite the punch but they mostly lacked skill without their quirks"
"Huh so you intend to teach them to fight quirkless?" Yu scratches her head at this
"Yeah, a lot of their quirks seem to be dangerous in enclosed spaces... to minimize collateral damage of course"
"I see... Huh now that you think of it, yeah it does make sense"
2 hours ago.
"What did you call me for?" Takeyama asks Shinji
"It's a villain situation, organized crime or something like that"
"Why are we involved in this!?" Yu asks in annoyance
"Trust me it's important." Nishiya replies.
They head to the scene of the crime, a knocked out group of Yakuza members, their insignia is unlike any other.
"We weren't able to identify the badge, they aren't Hassaikai" The group of detective say as the 2 arrive.
"What are we here for?" the two ask
"Take this to the Yagami Detective Agency office maybe it's from their world, we can't contact the Hassaikai themselves because of internal problems ongoing, we'll sweep the area for any more suspicious things."
"If this is another Yakuza on Yakuza matter, why even bother!?" Kamui woods asks
"This might cause a lead to the other person that was missing from Kiryu. You see, this portal brings people in pairs, very rarely alone. The explosion radius of the ones who got went in solo, are much smaller than the average, Kiryu's was average." A policeman says.
"Alright Alright" The two head off to the office.
They hand over the pin to Yagami only for the detective to automatically say.
"Tojo clan, Nishikiyama family…" The man proceeds to type in the computer to search for info on their patriarch
"To-jo?" Mt Lady turns her head and scratches her chin.
"One of the largest Yakuza organizations back in my world, mainly in control of Kamurocho. From personally tracking some members, they've recently had a merger with the Hassaikai... Around last week or so, the remaining remnants work real estate, security or construction. Strangely enough the ones that work under security and real estate are still classified as Yakuza. Anyway…" Takayuki adds on to this with.
"Akira Nishikiyama, First Patriarch of the Nishikiyama Family, formerly under the Tojo Clan and current allegiance is unknown. I'll just let the screen do the talking" Yagami continues on as he shows the display onto the two.

"You know what, just give me a flash drive of the documents that are connected to this 'Tojo Clan' I already have a lead on Kiryu. I'll be back here in a couple of days" Yu says urgently getting the drive.
"Keep in mind this information is classified possibly outdated, Kiryu's file is about a year old before I got here, I trust that you keep Kiryu's confidential between you, Kamui Woods, and possibly Kiryu to update his file considering sending outdated info could lead to the wrong conclusions." Yagami replies in a tone that says yes to them getting a copy.
The 2 head off, silence was mostly the trip to the station but then Nishiya breaks the ice.
"So that bastard is a Yakuza… Not any average one, THE chairman. Hey Mt Lady how are we going to tell this to him? He seems vigilant on hiding his origins from us."
"I'll give it a week or two once he gets used to the hotel, then spill the beans. I'll ask him as much as I can, he seems cooperative enough to tell. I can smooth talk my way anyway if he does not."
They hand the badge and a spare flash drive with only Nishikiyama's information with any mention of Kiryu removed back to police who were glad to get information on them.
"I didn't realize Yagami had full info in this person"
"Me neither" The 2 reply to the policemen.
A/N: The info they have on the Tojo is just plugged from the Yakuza wiki but with some missing info since Yagami cant be that obsessed over them… Probably Kaito but eh… Anyway this is where the fun begins for me... and where writers block WILL kick in... Anyway, Kiryu's quirk suggestions are still open and send your thoughts down below and any suggestions that i will take into consideration.
