Central City
Unspecified chemicals. Crusty pile of rocks laying over most things that present the heart of Central City. Most of the vehicles smashed. It'd be a lot difficult for any of these survivors to take off to Star City. They don't have a Waverider to ensure their safely trip to that other city. Ray's suit is torn out. Barry's speed is corrupted. Wally's still not answering anyone's call. No one knows where he is. He left Team Flash to focus on some personal business. Now it's taken him that long.
Exploration in circumstances like this is a huge risk but it's the only option they've got. Staying under the surface will slowly fall to their deaths. It's not just corpses that are defined in this state. Other species are gradually changing. They could easily step into the shadows of the tunnels. Apparently they're vision can view through walls, floors, even through the shadows. This is the last option in their game; a chance.
"Swarms of corpses up ahead". Sara spots. Mending the team to sneak at the sides of a 'circle'. Around the zombies.
They successfully crossed through quietly.
"Any trucks, vans or buses we could use?". These are the only ones that can fit for a 10 to 15, depending on the size.
Sara bosses over everyone to look for any that they can rev up on.
10 minutes later...
Took the lot 10 minutes to dig in for any working mechanisms.
"You guys come here!". Getting the team together on one spot while Ray observes the Van's engine. "Battery's juiced out. But the cells are alive. We need to give it a bigger push".
"Do you hear that?". Leagues catches sounds of growls and hisses fro nearby. "Oh no". Everyone knew it and it was now or never.
Van's vrooming may have alerted all the infected to take their senses on the pointy sound.
Caitlin's fear is what prompted her icicle self to step into sight. Frost transpires into Caitlin's consciousness as she's ready for a cool down on her enemies.
Iris takes Barry with her to the back of the van, waiting for Ray to rev it up. Amaya and Nate, powered from their respective abilities, nudges the van forward. This would somehow get the van working.
Duellists take their respective sides, engaging with these beasts.
Lots of push-backs at least a few to add on in the zombie side.
Cisco vibrates a couple of blasts from his gauntlets. They'd make his oppositions lose balance and pushed back.
Sara threw a few knives, and shurikens on her opponets. Sticked on a few, possibly even stabbed them. Some corpses even had their arms or legs sliced off. But they are clearly relentless.
Caitlin bursts cold freeze on a dozen of them, keeping them tangled in a solid state.
Ralph stretches his thinner self on his hands to slap tons of corpses back.
No matter how hard they effortlessly take out, more stand in the way. Soon mutated flies, worms, bugs, more of them push the fighters back.
Under pressured points, Nate and Amaya's combined efforts helped spark the jolts in the van. Ray revs up the engine straight for the exit whilst getting everyone's attention to come on board.
Ralph extends his arm to the hold onto the van's handles, taking everyone around him in a shape of a basket, with him. Elongated man degrades his arm like someone just got pulled forward from the rope's movement. Relying on his range, Ralph steps foot in the back of the van where everyone lands on safely. Although there were breaths to draw out. Other than the whole nerving that'd get some pissed at Ralph, everyone's safe.
The dead souls try all they could to catch up but to no avail was in their good.
While the van drives on. Standing foot on a nearby building, Oliver and Kara.
Oliver was about to withdraw 4 explosive arrows into action: to bust the fan up. As he was ready to take his aim, an arm prevented him from directing his target.
"Let them go. We'll find them sooner or later". Kara evilly smiles. "It's only a matter of time till everything crumbles to dust. Our Lord we'll be pleased for what he accomplished for him. An army". Oliver nods approving Kara's request to fly them away from Central City.
"We're we headed?". The man wonders.
"It's time we had a little change". Kara notifies significantly and sinfully. Her tone is in the manner of a psycho. Kara licks on Oliver's face. The taste felt real nice for her. A taste she had never asked for in his life. Oliver didn't complain. He approved of it. "We don't need to don these pathetic suits. We're heading to Apokolips".
