Batcave

Remaining members of Team Flash, Team Legends and a disbanded Team Arrow railed their life for three weeks in Batman's layer. Including Clark, Diana and Lois.

All they could hear were clicks and taps from nearby puddles of water. That drip.

Three weeks is a long time. No quarantine. Just them cursed in hell's breath.

But because of the batcave, they found tons of resources and supplies. Anyone could've assumed Batman poses these plans in his cave in case an apocalypse ever rained on everyone's shoulders.

Current situation. Everyone sits close in multiple ranches. Each set with a campfire.

One point covers for Barry, Iris, Caitlin and Cisco. Team Flash.

Another locus tips on Rene, John, Dinah, Curtis and Felicity.

Third bard's used by Sara, Ray, Nate and Amaya.

Last one's donned by Clark, Lois and Diana.

"You okay?", Barry leans on Iris.

Iris's eyes flood. She lost an ally. Team Flash's ally. Ralph.

"No"

Barry knew what Iris is directly referencing her thoughts on. Ralph was their friend. A man who grew to become more of an ally.

"I miss him too", Barry aligned with his wife's sadness.

Iris leans her head on Barry's shoulders as the latter wraps one arm around her arm. For comfort.

"Any luck with your powers?", Caitlin hails in depend to Cisco's powers to cross through universes.

"Still no luck. It's like I'm tapped out", Cisco coined

The human side of her Frost personality squeezes her lips as she crays in tangles of complexity.

Ray's working on some gauntlet tech which got Sara beaming on him.

"Ray what the hell are you doing?", Sara thrones.

"Trying to work on some working tech. To hopefully get us a bit of hand on these things we're facing". Ray has been studying for the course of the weeks. Learning about their weaknesses. Their strengths. Their formation. And their attack. He knows where he's going at. Though he's not as good with tech than Batman.

"Try not to kill us. Like you did 2 weeks ago", Sara reminded the latter of his failed attempt when they were on patrol in Gotham.

"I was really sorry about that!", Ray shot back.

While Ray and Sara were exchanging shots, Nate and Amaya whispered amongst themselves over romances. What could puzzle them together. They've broken a few times but their love just never gets dazed a hit.

Clark, Diana and Lois subjects on Bruce Wayne. While Kate is placed in sleep.

"I'm sorry for you Diana. For what happened to Bruce. If only-". Lois just got strewed from Diana's gesture. Diana emphases no hold about her husband for the sake of Kate. She doesn't want her daughter to listen to this. She may possibly be still awake.

Clark directed Lois on why she wouldn't. Looking over the sleeping girl that lies on her mum.

"Kate? That's a nice name", Lois asserts. "Doesn't sound like you to pick a name for someone. Even if it happen to another one of your proteges".

"It was Bruce". The Kent pair wouldn't be that surprised. Bruce knows what name to choose for fitness. "Given to her in name of the people Bruce was related to. I'm sure by now you've already heard of the Kanes family crash".

"You mean the one from over a decade?", Lois questioned to be sure. "When the Joker-".

Diana nodded.

Bruce Wayne. To them. Is noted as man who has reasons behind every edge he takes on.

Changing a topic involving her family. "Gotham isn't safe. Even I can't bring you over to my place. I'd be happy to take you all back to Themyscira but unfortunately my field's only embedded in signature for us Amazonians".

"Isn't there another way?", Lois grooms on. "Because we're all gonna get devoured. Slowly turn into those things".

"There is one way". Lois and Clark were all hears to what she's going to say. "I've checked signatures from my jet that there is an abandoned facility that's halt on the other side. It portrays several hundred life forms. We can't be too sure of what we expect from Gotham".

"Gotham's the darkest city anyone would peer their eyes onto", Clark esteemed.

"But what if we form an alliance with them", Lois partakes.

"Lois that's crazy. We don't who they are. They could be one of Batman's enemies. Psychopaths. Rapists-"

"We need to Clark", Lois interrupted Clark's reasoning. "Look around here. Many of us are weak. You're still not at full strength because of that. And Diana can't handle all of them at one go".

Lois does have a point. Diana would agree. They're outnumbered. And they know Kara will soon find them and slaughter every last one. Kara's Kryptonian powers are on a whole another level compared to Amazonians.

Just then a jar burped inside her head. 'Wait. Should I really tell them? He does want me to tell them about the plan'. Diana whirls around. Looking across everyone's plate. Their current condition isn't suitable for the task but if Diana doesn't get help like he wanted her to, they will all rein in defeat. While the conquerors of Earth hold victorious. 'I know what I must do. They could possibly accept this. I just to have to try'.

"Diana?"

Lois snaps Diana from her thoughts.

"Sorry. Did you say something?"

"Should we head over to the other side and make our formed occupations with them? Or stay here?"

"I've got a better idea. Rally the team altogether. I've got something to show you. Something that give us some sort of line to draw over"

Lois and Clark were curious. What is it that Diana was hiding from them? They'll soon find out.

Everyone tallied together like sticks.

"Okay what is it that you want now?", John lobbed. He couldn't take it anymore. So many secrets hid from him. And then revealed later on.

"John", Lyla crawls significantly on his shoulder. John eyes on her. "Let's just give her a chance".

John takes his moment to fuel himself. Then let's go.

"Okay. Fine", John accepts. "Go ahead".

With that said, Diana progresses forward with her cryptic news.

"As you know. I've been hiding secrets from you. Only to protect you from things my husband believed you can over-shape. It's nothing personal", said Diana. The latter nudges around her allies. "It's to determine your everyone's safety. You're all that remains. Sooner or later, they will find us. And kill us all".

"And how can Batman believe we can stand against this threat when he himself is the one influenced by Darkseid?", Barry questionably pointed.

Diana ceases her way. Stopping in front of Barry.

"Because he sent me a transmission years ago"

Diana showcased a recording feature. Similar to an iPod but more advanced. The latter taps on one button.

"Sorry to bother you like this Diana. Can't risk sharing this with any of my family. Friends. Or allies. And neither can you. Which is why I'm about to tell you a secret that needs to be kept from you and your team". Bruce's line. Next phase won't be pretty for any of them. "A war is coming Diana. A war warned from Barry Allen. Sent from 40 years in the future". Everyone, minus Diana, tempted at minimum shock. All eyeing over Barry Allen, whom he himself was surprised that another future him sent another message. "This war is mentioned to be a threat unlike anything the Justice League ever faced. So you need to form an alliance. A team consisted of any heroes or villains. To engage this treachery. For the Earth. And whatever you do. Don't trust anyone. Not anything. Not Clark. Not even me".

The transmission ends. Leaving people in tunnelled thoughts. Future Barry. Bruce's message. They are so puzzled.

"Barry what the hell did you do this time!", Diggle shouts in anger. Fit to strike one hard blow on Barry's face. But Diana's interference stopped her. Catching his hand tightly.

"We don't have time for these childish games. So unless you want to grow up and act like an adult. We've bigger times to wright over right over"

"So Barry-Future Barry", Ray corrected. "Went back in time to warn Bats about an upcoming invasion. Which he never told us about".

"Barry what did you do this time", Sara tempers on Barry, whom is confused. "Because I recalled before. You went back in time to stop your mother from being killed by Reverse Flash".

"I didn't do anything with the time stream ever since then", Barry defended himself.

"Wait. What if that message Barry Allen sent from the future. What if it's still the same Barry that sent Rip Hunter a message", Nate assumed. It's a funny guess. Considering he did warn Rip about Savitar. And Savitar was already dealt with by Team Flash.

"So you're saying that after all this time, we stuck our asses with the wrong invasion?!", Sara angrily questioned. She is really pissed. No one in the team knows what heat will she rein down on. But Diana is here. She can handle it.

"The Dominators. What if they came to Earth for Barry because he accidentally fabricated a timeline where the real invasion would take place some point in the future. What if that was future Barry's message all along. And we assumed it the wrong way"

Most of them didn't know what's in their heads. Their mentality. Reduced to bits.

"We can't give up!". A familiar voice addressed. Everyone turned to him. Clark Kent. "We never quit. If you even consider yourself heroes, then you know that we don't give up. Sure I've had my fair share of giving up. The League to pronounce. But we all make mistakes. It may affect us heavily. But we just can't let ourselves down for the count. We need to keep fighting. Form a new team. A team that never backs away from a fight!".

Everyone stood listening to his speech. Even Diana, whom sided with Clark during his speech, listened. And she agreed. They can't give up.

"So right now. You have a choice. I understand that some of you don't want to get yourselves hurt. But sometimes it's what a hero endures. Pain. Tragedy. Sacrifice. They're all key elements of defining yourself as a hero. So you either stand in this cave. Waiting for these things to bite you. Or you stand with us. And help us take back our place", Diana dwells.

Clark and Diana. Stood on one side. The other side. People thinking about it. Some were blended in confused rage and pain. Some are depressed. Sad. Some still stay a little fear. But that soon changed. Slowly and slowly. One by one came in agreement and approval. Barry. Sara. Amaya. Soon everyone joined.

Barry stands first on Clark.

"I may hold a lot of anger on you", Barry confesses. As Clark was partly the reason for Oliver's turn-to-dark-side. "But I made a mistake as well. In fact we all did. So right now. We're all under your command. Superman".

Clark nodded in acceptance. Even to Barry's catch name of his.

With that said, the team planned for their next route. To Metropolis.
