Kim POV

I woke up remembering what happened last night between Jack and I...it felt...right? I don't know what to feel. I got out of bed and went to the kitchen seeing all of the kids there, eating

"Hi Kimmy," Olivia said

"Hi" I replied I walked to the counter and made myself a coffee, Jack walked in we locked eyes for a moment before I looked away

"What's going on between you two lovebirds?"Lexi asked I blushed

"Nothing" Jack and I quickly replied she gave us a "spill the tea" look I sighed, we all sat down and ate in silence

"Dad, since the weather's nice can we all go to the beach," Lexi said

"Alright we can go once we finish eating," Jack said, all the kids began to shove their food down their throats and they finished their food and ran upstairs, pushing one another Jack and I stared at the kids in amusement. When they were gone I realized it was just Jack and me, there was an awkward tension between us

"Hey," Jack said I looked at him

"Hey..."I trailed off

"So about last night" he began but I cut him off

"I don't want to talk about it," I said he looked down

"I understand if you don't have any feelings for me but I just want you to know is that no matter happens between us we're gonna be friends," he said I nodded

"That's the thing, Jack...I don't know what love is"I said he smiled a little and caress my cheek and leaned down a bit towards that I could feel his breath against mine

"...I could show you how"he began to lean towards me and we were about to close the gap until we heard shouting we quickly pulled away and went towards where the shouting occurred

"Leo! Stop hogging the bathroom! I need to use the bathroom as well!"Lexi shouted, angrily while pounding on the door

"Lexi, calm down I'm sure Leo is finishing up...right Leo," Jack said we heard the toilet flush and a few seconds later he walked out

"Done, happy" he said

"Very much" she walked in and closed the door we all began packing to the beach I walked into Olivia's room seeing still deciding what to wear

"Kimmy, what should I wear? this one or this one?" she showed me two pair of swimming outfits

"I like the blue one it matches your eyes" she smiled

"Thank you" she replied we were all set and drove to the beach. Once we got there Lexi and Leo unbuckled themselves and ran to the beach while Jack and I unbuckled Olivia and Austin. Austin fell asleep during the car ride so Jack carried him while Olivia was wide awake. She wanted me to carry her. We followed the others and set our things, I decided to tan for a bit while Jack went to play with his children. I watched how Jack interacted with his kids. I smiled realizing Jack is an amazing father. I closed my eyes to relax only to open them again as Olivia began to cover me in sand

"What are you doing, silly," I said

"You can't get out!" she laughed I laughed as well I began to break off the sand which caused Olivia to scream and run away

"I'm gonna get you!"I ran after her and caught her she screamed I picked her up and spun her around she giggled, people stared at me they believe that we are a family spending time at the beach

"Come and play with us," Olivia said we walked towards the others and had a good time. I decided to walk around a bit while Jack went with the kids to buy ice cream as I was walking I bumped into someone

"Oh I'm sorry, are you ok?"I asked as the person looked at me

"It's fine...it's not every day you get pushed by a beautiful woman" he flirted. I blushed. "What's your name?"

"Kim" I replied. "Yours?"

"Louis...Louis Galbraith," he said. I recognized he had a British accent which I kind of found attractive. "What are you doing here all alone?"

"Well I'm here with the kids I babysit and their father" I replied

"So are you and him in a relationship?" he asked. I began to think, Are Jack and I in a relationship? I mean we kissed one time but did it mean anything? of course not I'm just his employee who looks after his children I don't mean anything to him.

"No, he and I are not together he is just my boss," I said he smiled

"How about I take you on a date," he said I smiled

"I don't know we just met and I hardly know you," I said he took out a piece of paper and began to write his phone number

"Here is my phone number if you change your mind, call me" he gave me his phone number I smiled

"I will think about it" he smiled and left. I went back to the kids, I noticed Jack's mood changed but I wondered why but I shrugged it off and we all went home. I tucked the kids in and went to my room. I closed the door and sat on my bed staring at the piece of paper, I decided to call him I dialed in the numbers and waited for him to pick up

"Hello?" he answered a smile form on my lips

"Hello Louis, it's me Kim from the beach I made my decision..."
