In my last chapter, I forgot to add the role of Ray, considering I've been more focused on this story's driven to its rightful conclusion. So basically Ray joint up with Team Flash and Felicity to hire a few allies they affiliated with before.
According to the Flash Season 4, Jesse Quick, who's from Earth-2, was preoccupied in her ego, watching over Central City. Whilst his father rejoined Team Flash. And in case any of you haven't noticed, Jesse does have metahuman abilities: speed, like Barry and Wally.
Earth-2
Central City
Towers, that presented Central City itself, are demolished and extinguished. Civilians of their city slowly turn into them. Skies shade red, compromising the light of this city.
A portal opens, in the streets, exhibiting Team Flash, Ray and Felicity.
"What the hell happened in here?", Felicity questioned.
"This might be his doing", Barry announced. Clark did state a powerful being, far beyond Kryptonians and other god-like species, one whom influenced Kara and Oliver to assume their natural roles as servants.
"When will this end?", Cisco questioned. They don't have an answer, their pupils tremble, suggesting they can't theorise a 'when'. This all-powerful being they've never learnt of, crossed through multiple breaches, invading different planets, possible even in galaxies that reside in their respective universes. Hope is a mysterious thing to decipher.
"If I had my suit, I'd jam us out in no time", Ray mentions. His suit got torn up by conflict with Supergirl, Green Arrow, and their army.
Iris, whom stand in front of them, faintly rotates her body to them. "We can't pull our eyes on that, we need to get Jesse, before God knows what will happen to her, and this planet". Iris's line briefly holds a false line. Do they even know if Jesse is still alive?.
Suddenly, the ground shakes, all of them.
"Please tell me this is an earthquake?", Cisco begged. A mutated-shaped creature that prevails under the ground, Cisco would be frightened, like Felicity and Ray.
"Cisco, sorry to intrigue you. But I think it's-". Barry failed to complete his sentence.
A derived creature storms out from the ground. Its appearance shook the group in an edgy depth. Rocks, unwillingly released from the roads, pile out.
"A snail-faced worm?", said Ray, loudly.
Snail-faced worm dons his sight on his new prey.
"Everyone! Run!", Caitlin shouted. Everyone consents to sprint, running as fast as they could, to avoid their merciless death.
Using its curly body, with no limbs, the flatworm crawls, quick-witted into chasing after them. Its tone fashions a lion-tuned roar.
They tried keeping up the pace, but the distance was so long, soon it will munch them for its personal meal. As some people, like Cisco, near their fall, two electric zips bolts Team Flash, Ray and Felicity away, from wrath of land's sandstorm version.
Two speedsters motion the league to a safe location. The storehouse.
"What the...", Cisco couldn't say another word. His face blossoms in awe.
"Barry are they friends of your?", Felicity asked, hoping Barry knows who they are.
Two speedster fade off their fogginess. A old man and a young lady, who both take their war paint off.
"Jesse?", Cisco named, relieved to find their allied speedster, whom smiles back, reasoned the same feeling as them. "And Jay?". Jay Garrick, the Flash, and another allied speedster, who is from Earth-3, which is inconsiderate for him to be in her world, likely because of that.
"Hey. Never thought I'd see you folks beam to Earth-2", Jay deemed, alleviated. He had a hard time compromising the intensity of a dark spread, which inadequate him to drive to another Earth.
"What are you doing here?", Barry questioned, his pupils smoothed, in range, pinned at him.
"Faced a threat unlike anything I've ever seen", said Jay. "He's a devil, Barry. When his army tried to sue me, I barely escaped from their hold, tried reaching your world, but that deity shaped my body, so bad I accidentally landed in Earth-2, where it's fated the same way as mine".
"Our world suffered the same fate", Barry addressed to Jay, and Jesse. "Seemingly ours was first to vary".
When Jesse heard Barry's world 'suffered the same fate', she got nerved. "My father?". Team Flash tilted to Jesse's point. "Is he?".
"I'm...sorry". Barry struggled to reveal it to her, but eventuate it anyhow.
Tears slid from Jesse's eyes, her head lowers down. Cursing the being who took all of their lives, the influencer of universes.
Iris steps forward, to lean in, giving her a hug, which she appreciated. Staged for longer seconds.
"Not my dad. Why my dad?", Jesse demanded, in uttered inarticulate sounds. She already lost her mum, not her father too.
They all, minus Kate, showed sympathy for the fractured latter.
After Jesse finally calmed down by the joint mental power of Barry and Iris, as they had experience of what it's like to lose a parent/another parent, the group, lengthwise with Jay and Jesse, subsequent in a temporal discussion base. Conversing about their beheld events regarding Oliver and Kara's rampage.
"So those two are the ones responsible for my father's death?", Jesse questioned, as the latter heard enough to learn two people responsible for his father's death. Her glare is do deadly that it feared all of them about what she might do. Even she can't go up against the likes of Oliver and Kara, whom by its natural fate would lead to her death.
"Look Jesse, they're not themselves", Barry defended, for the two, despite encountering them in the duel, which almost got him killed, had Oliver not spared the latter.
"Why would you defend them?", she glaringly asked. "Didn't your friend betray you, turned himself into a slave, draw out all the darkness upon us".
Barry wanted to object, but come to think of it, she does have a point. If the former Flash protracts his line with the Archer and the Girl of Steel, he's going to get himself killed. Iris tried convincing him but Barry's personality always shape-shifts in inviting the benefit of doubt. Cisco tried. Caitlin did. Felicity did. Even his father-in-law did. Before he could phase any word, the room they're in jitters.
"Now what?!", Felicity questions, pried in the room shaking.
"It's coming from outside!", said Ray.
Crimson red shades, from the outside of their base, to the inside.
Walls split into mini-shed bricks. Revealing parademons, paradooms and a black figure, from the red-black skies.
"You are all authorised to stay where you lie", a man, in black armour, addressed. "Lord Darkseid wishes for every one of you to give yourself up".
"Darkseid?", Jay followed. They all know who he's working for. And they need to leave. "We have to move! Now!".
"Isn't that-", Felicity remarks in recognising the man, who floats.
"The Dark Knight", Ray completed, violent impact thrusted in his heard, just like everyone else, including Barry. His Bat glare is a demon's threat from the darkness.
"Dad?", Kate named, in father-child tree, pondered on whether this figure is really her father. She could feel it, bewitched.
"That's not him", said Iris, a lie, which deepened Kate's pain.
Cisco presses the button on the extrapolator, opening the portal.
Batman widens his eyebrows, blushing a radiant crimson aura.
"Is he-", Caitlin remarks.
"He's going to shoot us!", Barry completed for Caitlin. "Everyone pull back! Pull back!".
Batman emits a vivid blast, enchanted higher, to the group's point.
Barry and the co. leave in portal but at same time, the surrounding effects of Batman's ray pummelled them, severely.
Kate was almost about to fall in the same portal as them, but another portal opened, revealing a dark arm, grabbing Kate by the shoulder, pulling her in a vacuumed porta, separate from Barry and the team's exit portal.
All the Dark Knight saw was destruction.
