Speed Force

Team Flash, Ray, Felicity, Jay, and Jesse motionlessly lie out, flowing, like no gravity was embedded in this spaced-world.

Barry wakes up. "What happened?", former Flash queries. The latter in due seconds looks over the following people still unconscious. Even Iris, one Barry was leaned in focusing. His body gives him a knotty blur, irritating Barry. "What's going on with my body? My hand", he questioned, as he raises his hand, which discs a quality of blur. "Has my speed really...?". Couldn't utter his last line, too focused on his body's optimism. He recalled an event when Oliver dosed Barry an unresistant poisonous substance, which posed as an internal threat both to Barry's body system, and speed force. All that dose faded when Barry physically reconnected with his speed force, in which he was proficient to recognise.

Suddenly looped nourished circle of realities emerge from said speed force, surprising Barry. Barry overlooks those certain eras, eras compassed in times Barry never experienced in his world. Possibly not now. Image implants of various people Barry barely recognises. A unmasked man trenched in a black suit, with a red symbol of a bat. Same man who yells at an old man, who's at his best eighties. Another reality showcasing two Men of Steel clashing. Another reality roused in an Amazon Queen fighting against her arch-nemesis. So many other realities seized in Barry's eyes, too much for the latter to dominant in.

In less than a few seconds, Jay Garrick awoke.

"Jay!", Barry called. Jay turns to Barry.

"Barry? What's-". Jay didn't need to ask, after browsing around. He knows what expanse they are in. "Speed force".

Barry flies to Jay's point, intent in asking questions, since he values more knowledge than him.

"What is this place?", Barry asked, not recognising a version of this internal infinite tube.

"You see Barry: we've crossed a bridge", Jay answered.

"A bridge?", Barry exclaimed, unsure of Jay's word-calling.

"There are certain laws to how we use our powers, gifted from the speed force. Should it be used in the wrong way, all realities could fluctuate into one, consisted of various worlds. It could muse Earth into a hay-wire", Jay explained. "I've heard legends, tales, myths of things that are hypothesised to exist".

"Your point?", Barry asked, displaying a questioning expression on his face.

"If I'm right about what I've heard, the speed force could have some connection to-", Jay failed to utter. Both Barry and Jay look back to find out their allies awoke.

"Where are we?", Felicity questioned, freaking out.

Cisco, Ray and Caitlin formed in awe, looking at different realities before them.

"Why are we tangled up in speed force?", Jesse questioned. Last thing she remembered is herself and the group being presented from Batman's attack, when herself and the team used the extrapolator to flood between worlds.

Cisco guessed in his geek language that it'd possibly might've been Batman's blast that distorted Jesse's speed, Jay's speed, and the effects of the extrapolator, which entangled them all.

"Well can we untangle ourselves, and head straight back to your world", Jesse beamed.

"I think we've got a minor difficulty", Cisco remarked, motioning everyone to look over his extrapolator, which is broken.

"So how do we get out of the Speed Force?", Ray questioned, after overhearing the name of the space-world they are in.

Jay Garrick insisted in using their speeds to phase forward, but Felicity doubted two speedsters would be capable of carrying everyone while putting up a fast pace. Felicity was once told by Barry that to enter the speed force, to travel to an alternate world, they needed a bigger pick-up pace. In this case, not even the combined powers of Jay Garrick and Jesse Wells would provide an autonomous result of bursting out of the Speed Force.

"Guys wait! Something's different. I feel different", Barry remarks, receiving all eyes from his friends. Barry moves his hand over to his abdomen, feeling the outraging eruptions enacting inside him. Thunderous vibrating bolts lurking inside him.

"What's wrong Barry?, Iris asked, coming to the former speedster's side.

"I feel funny. A tingling sense vibrating inside me...". As he soon as he says it, his body begins to blur again, shaking itself. "What's happening to me?". Barry rotates to see Jay, wanting answers from the latter.

"Your powers", Jay deemed, expressing in his tone of astonishment. "You're getting them back. Maybe the attack from Batman might've somehow caused you to free yourself from Green Arrow's poison".

"So he's...?", Felicity tried to utter her question but was cut off because of Barry's ongoing array of noises sprouting out from his suit.

Yellow static blazes appear out of his body, exploding out of it, releasing waves of it. "I can feel the surge growing inside me. It's increasing exponentially", Barry commented, in short seconds to perceive drafts of substances leaving Barry's body, burning themselves until nothing was left as it disintegrated.

"Your speed has returned", Jesse said, astounded.

Barry Allen observes his body parts, shifting his body in the movement of having his eyes to be able to see it. Everything seemed neutral to him. Barry ups his head up, energising his eyeballs in a spark of yellow aura. Then a thought slapped his head as he came to realise there is one person missing. Barry froze in a broadening structure, stung. "Where's Kate?", he asked.

The name 'Kate' had placed a thought on everyone's heads, causing each of them to roll into their surroundings briefly.

"I thought she was with us when we supposedly escaped from Bat...But th...", Ray couldn't complete what he was saying as his eyes were concentrated on where Kate is.

"Do you think she's been...…abducted or maybe-?", Caitlin asked prior to Barry shutting her down.

"No. I don't have the slightest belief she's dead. There's no way Batman would kill his own daughter", Barry deemed.

"Are you sure Barry?", Iris expressing her disagreement. Barry turned in focus to Iris' side. "Mind-control, wouldn't it compel him to do whatever that deity scum is telling him to do?".

Barry revolves his eyes elsewhere as he didn't want to partake in answering her question.

"Let's focus on leaving this-", Ralph says, before being cut off with a raised gesture from Barry as he heard noises.

"Wait", Barry deemed, slowly whirling his eyes around him. "Did you hear that?".

"Hear what?", Cisco questioned, perplexed at what his friend is referring to.

Their conversation abruptly ends as a vivid flash engulfs them all. The last sight they caught is light, which changes into an endless darkness.
