In the early hours of a Wednesday morning, Mikotos pain had finally come to an end after two babies had arrived to the world. The mother held them both close to her chest never wanting to let them go. Fugaku grinned, he couldn't wait until they would become the best ninjas in the village, making the uchiha clan even more powerful. Mikoto decided on the names Itachi and Inichi, they both looked exactly the same, just like two raindrops. The only difference was Inichis pink and Itachis blue blanket.
The village was in awe of the two kids, hoping that the Uchiha clans future lies in their hands. Fukagu couldn't help but brag how strong his kids will become, surpassing every single shinobi in the village, making the clan the strongest. Everyone clapped and cheered welcoming the new babies.
At seven months, they started to stand up on their own, soon the twins could run around the house at merely one years old. Not to mention the fact that they were inseparable, they would play, sleep and they even bathed together while they were young. They were balls full of energy, always running around, pretending to be legendary ninjas and fighting.
Their fun filled childhood came to a stop when Fugaku decided it was time for them to train if they were to become the strongest shinobi. They were four when they started learning the basics. Even so, their father pushed them to their limit everyday. They rarely caught breaks from training as Fugaku didn't want his children slacking.
"Itachi" The raven haired girl asked her twin while laying down beside him.
"What is it? Why aren't you sleeping?" He turned around to face her.
"Why does otōsan keep pushing us? We never seem to get a break"
"Inichi, we are part of the Uchiha clan, father wants us to become the best shinobi." his onyx eyes stared back at hers. "I hope things get better as we grow." The twins then fall into the arms of slumber deep in thought.
The next morning, the siblings woke up at the same time. As their eyes got used to the light, Mikoto entered their bedroom to call them for breakfast before their daily training. They got dressed and headed for the table.
"Okaa-san, why is your stomach getting bigger?" Inichi asked, taking a bite of her food. Her mother giggled a lit but smiled at Inichi.
"Your mother is pregnant."
"Pregnant?" She asked her father for an explanation of a word she has never heard before.
"Your mother is carrying a baby in her womb. Females go through this when they are expecting a child."
"I don't want to be pregnant, it seems like such a bother." Inichi huffs, hating the idea of being pregnant.
"Otōsan does that mean that we will have a sibling?" Itachi askes, his eyes widening. Fugaku simply nods and continues eating his meal. Itachi seemed happy, while Inichi found the thought of siblings a bother. Once the family had finished breakfast, the twins said their goodbyes as they headed for the training grounds. The forest trees leaves had turned golden, some threatening to fall off. The morning breeze was a little chilly, the grass was still wet from the drizzle of rain. The sun was slowly rising, the first rays of sunlight lightly danced on their faces as they made their way through the early morning grass. The year was coming to an end and they have already witnessed some dreadful things during the third ninja war. They both were deeply traumatized by the dark red blood, lifeless bodies and heartless shinobi, something four year olds shouldn't see. Inichi grabbed Itachis arm, both of them stopping.
"Oni-chan" her onyx eyes starring back at his.
"Yes? What is it?" He turned around completely so he was standing before her.
"What do you wish for the most?" she left go of his arm, averting her gaze to the raindrops falling off the trees leaves.
"Peace. World peace.A world with no war. That is what I wish to accomplish in this life." Her eyes widened, maybe they looked alike, but they wished to accomplish different things.
"Peace? Out of all things. Its such an impossible and ridiculous thing to want." she started walking before carrying on her thought. "There always was and will be people that want so called peace by making and ruling the world the way they like it. War is a unescapable thing."
"I want to get rid of those who only care about power. People could talk things out instead of raising their swords."
"You need peace and chaos for the world to work the way it should, there is no good people if there isn't any bad people. The people who started the war are known as "bad" and the people who are going to stop it will be "good." There would be no need for shinobi or Hokages if there is no evil to protect the villagers from. The world would need to reset, then there would be no power thirsty people."
"But you can't -"
"We're here." Inichi grabbed her kunai and continued practicing. Itachi still hadn't comprehend the discussion they had prior their arrival and stood looking at Inichi before starting his own training. They practiced for a while until their stomachs started to growl. The twins sat down, backs against a tree as they opened their binto boxes to find their lunch that their mother had made before hand. The peaceful environment made them relax, the birds were chirping while standing on the tree branches, the sun was high up in the sky warming up the grass and trees, their stomachs felt satisfied with the delicious lunch. They warmth made them sleepy and a little while later they fell asleep.
They woke up, but instead of being greeted by the warm sun, they were met with the moon that shined its luminescent light on the twins. Itachi grabbed his sisters hand and dashed for the Uchiha compound. They both knew that they were deep in trouble. Once they ran through the doors their father didn't even spare them a glance, he seemed to be very angry, and with a reason. Inichi started to head for their bedroom but Itachi stopped her and forced her to bow down and apologize.
"We apologize for being late father." He still kept quite so they took it as a sign to go out of his sight into their bedroom. Once the twins got ready for bed, they just layed in bed and starred at the ceiling, once again their head racing with thoughts.
