I follow them over to where Beetee, Wiress, and Johanna are covered in a red liquid.

"What happened to you," I ask.

"We were looking for water when it started raining," she says angrily. "Thing was, it wasn't water. It was blood. Thick, hot blood. We were stumbling through it blind." His voice goes sad. "That's when Blight hit the forcefield. He wasn't much, but he was from home."

Finnick had a sad look in his eye as she said that last sentence. He misses Mags a lot.

Just then Wiress came up behind Johanna.

"Tick Tock, Tick tock," she repeated over and over.

"This has been going on for hours!" Johanna says and walks into the water. "Deal with Nuts."

Wiress was obviously in shock. Beetee was unconscious on the beach. I took Wiress into the water and helped her get cleaned off. That's when the lightning hit the tree. It happened last night but I really wasn't paying attention. Now I am.

"Tick Tock, Tick Tock!" Wiress says excitedly.

That's when it hit me. Twelve wedges. Blood rain, fog, monkey mutts, and the wave. Each wedge has a new threat. The arena is a clock and that lightning signals midnight and noon.

"Wiress you're a genius!" I say as I grab her shoulders.

We head back to the beach where Haymitch has laid down next to Beetee. Finnick and I carefully take Beetee into the water and clean him off from the blood.

"Don't let that wire get lost," Johanna calls out. "He will go ballistic if he finds out you lost it."

Only Beetee would find that wire useful. He was the one to electrocute the remaining tributes in his Games. I wonder why he has it. What could he be possibly planning to do with that coil of wire?

After Beetee was cleaned up we all took turns sleeping. Every once in a while we would have to move so that we wouldn't get caught up in a threat from the jungle. I had to be on watch with Johanna at one point.

"I know you hate Wiress and Beetee. Why were they with you?" I ask.

"Peeta told me to bring them to you," she said. "He said you would take me as an ally if I brought them to you."

I smile. "I guess we are allies then."

I look up at the sound of a parachute. I see it coming towards us. I stand up and go get it. A large number 12 is written on it.

"Go ahead," Johanna says as I sit down next to her. "Open it."

I open it and find bread from and a note. This isn't any bread. This is Peeta's bread. I look at the note. "I love you," it says.

I look up and loudly say, "I love you too Peeta."
