The tour goes by fast. Wego to each District, I give a speech, and I go to a fancy dinner. Peeta and I get more alone time as the tour goes on because Cinna has finished Daisy's outfits. All that's left now is for the Capitol.

When we arrive in the Capitol I am dressed in a dark blue, almost bird like dress and my hair is done similar to last year. Peeta has been granted permission to come with me to the party to help with Daisy who is required to attend. He is dressed in a suit similar to my dress. Just like last year, Effie leads us up into the Presidential mansion and leaves us to go talk to her friends.

We eat and act like we are having fun. Peeta knows that I don't want to be here but we try to have fun anyway. I let Effie hold Daisy so that Peeta and I can dance. About ten or so minutes into it though, Plutarch Heavensbee comes up behind me and asks Peeta if he can have a dance. Peeta allows this and goes back over to get Daisy. I start to dance with Plutarch.

"He is mad at you, you know," Plutarch says to me.

"For what? Surviving?" I say.

"That's exactly why. There are more uprisings now that you have won again," he says.

More uprisings?

"I didn't mean for any of this to happen," I say.

"I know you didn't. You just wanted to survive. He doesn't see that and the fact that you showed the districts that you really love Peeta made the districts even more angry because they saw the Quell as a way to rip you two apart."

I've done it. I have created a fire that I can't control.

"I'm just warning you," he says. "He has something planned that no one can control but him." With that last sentence he leaves to go get another drink. The fireworks start, indicating that it's midnight. That's when I feel a hand on my arm.

"Mrs. Mellark," a palace guard says. "President Snow wished to see you."

I am led through the winding hallways until someone opens a door and I see Snow inside. I instantly smell blood when I walk into the room.

"Please have a seat Katniss," he says to me.

"President Snow, it is an honor to see you again," I say as I sit down.

"Oh Katniss, we both know that's a lie." I can't even respond to that. "I would like to personally congratulate you on the birth of your child," he says.

"Thank you," I say.

"The next Games are coming up fast, I think they will be great this year," he says. That makes me certain he has a trick up his sleeve.

"Yes, I bet they will be," I say. "If you'd excuse me I need to put Daisy to bed for the night."

"Ah yes," he says. "You may go now."

I get up and leave. Peeta. I need to find Peeta and fast.
