I see Prim run for the woods. Finn on the other hand runs towards the Cornucopia. I see him get to a close knife and pick it up. As he gets closer to the cornucopia he uses is to fight off people coming towards him. He kills a boy and a girl. By the mentors' conversations he killed Val from 9 and Ferric from 5. Finn gets to a large knife, kind of like a butcher's knife and he grabs a backpack and runs for the woods. He makes it and that's the last I see of him for right now.
The blood bath continues for twenty more minutes. By the end, eight are dead. Paxton from 2, Light from 3, Dussel from 6, Amere from 9, Danny from 10 and Layke from 11 are all dead. Prim is now down one ally.
Finally the cameras go to the tributes who survived. Prim found Finn but they haven't found the others yet. By nightfall, they had found Candela and Halle but the others were still missing.
Prim must have learned how to climb trees because her and the others all took shelter in a large oak tree. Prim gathered berries and plants for them to eat so as to not risk a fire. Each of them had gotten a backpack except for Prim but luckily Halle managed to grab two. Inside each there was a sleeping bag, dried fruit, crackers, a water bottle, and some rope.
The anthem played and in the sky the fallen tributes appeared. No one else died today.
The next day, Jorion, Paislee and Ellia found Prim and Finn while they were searching for food. The group walks all day hunting and trying to find the others.
This was hard to watch for Peeta and me. We never left the room with the TV. He and I took turns sleeping all night and watching Daisy. I was not going to miss any part of the Games.
Prim did not like killing the animals. Every time Jorion killed one, she tried to heal it and then was sad when it died. She's always done this.
It was almost nightfall when I noticed the Career pack in a similar area to Prim's group. As the image of the Careers went on I saw Halle in the background. That's when Falcon saw her and the Careers attacked.
