The camera cut back to the cave where they were all sitting at different ends of the cave. Well, everyone except Pim and Finn. Prim was cuddled up next to Finn. They all just kinda say there eating the occasional nut but Prim and Finn were quietly whispering to one another.
"Finn what are we going to do?" Prim asked.
"You are going to win," Finn answers.
"But what about you?" Prim looks at him with tears in her eye.
"You don't need me. You will find another one," he says.
"No I won't. I don't want them. I want you," she says and she leans over and kisses him. Finn pulls away.
"Prim, maybe we shouldn't. You know we can't both survive." he says.
"Maybe we can. Katniss did it and if we can't both make it out I want to spend as much time with you as possible," she says and kisses him again. This time Finn kisses her back.
"Ugh the stupid lover thing again," one of the other mentors say and he looks at me. His green eyes show anger. He turns around and talks to the others. No doubt he's talking about Prim.
The camera cut out from the cave. Something serious must be happening or they wouldn't be cutting away from two lovers.
I was right. The screen showed Autumn and Amelia behind a bush watching the Career camp. Only Pearl and Tassel occupied the camp now and all the goodies are still up front. Amelia has covered herself in mosses and grass and when she lays down she looks exactly like the ground. It reminded me of Peeta in the first Games.
When Pearl and Tassel were both out of sight Amelia ran out into the field, heading towards the cornucopia. She stepped on a stick and immediately she layed down and flattened herself against the ground. Tassel came out and looked around but he didn't see the camouflaged Amelia on the ground.
"Must have been a stupid animal," he called out and went back inside. Amelia waited a few seconds before getting up and moved more quietly towards the front. His strategy was amazing. Head in from the back and creep along the side until you get to the front. When she reached the mouth she bent down and crawled to the middle and grabbed a sack of apples and a backpack and then crawled to the other side and stood back up. She slowly made her way to the back of the cornucopia and then took off running into the trees. I can't deny it. She is very smart.
