Fyter Fest
Lottie had just finished the breakfast dishes while Cami was getting for the day. They decided they were going to film some stuff for their vlog at the house. They had been so busy they hadn't been able to spend a lot of time with all of their pets, so they had both decided they needed a day at home.
Lottie turned on the dishwasher and wiped down the counters. Their two kittens had already been fed. When they decided they wanted a cat, they both chose to pick one so they could be together when the girls were working. They had both fallen in love with two rescue kittens instantly. Cami had chosen a black kitten that she named Ashton or Ash for short, while Lottie had chosen an orange tabby. She chose to call him Oliver or Oli for short.
Lottie was already dressed for the day in a pair of distressed denim jeans, a black crop top, and a black, red, and white plaid shirt with tie sleeves rolled up. She paired the outfit with her black chuck taylors.
Cami came into the kitchen dressed in a black sleeveless belly top , black joggers, and black slippers with skulls on them. Cami preferred to dress down whenever she was at home. She had her camera out and was pointing it at Lottie, "And here is Lottie, she is being responsible and cleaning the kitchen."
"One of us has to be responsible." Lottie kidded.
"Shut up. I am responsible. I clean too."
Lottie laughed, "Well now the kitchen is all cleaned so we can enjoy a nice quiet day at home."
"It seems like it's been a long time since we have been able to spend some quality time at home with our babies. Seeing we have been so busy promoting Fyter Fest - which will be airing live on pay per view this Saturday."
Lottie shook her head at her sister's shameless plug. "Yes, promoting the pay per view has kept us very busy but, it has been a lot of fun too."
Oliver was walking around Lottie's ankles, rubbing against them and purring. She scooped down and picked him up and was quickly ambushed by Ash too. She picked them both up and held them up for the camera. "Speaking of our fur babies. These little angels want to make a cameo."
Cami took her cat and kissed it's head. Iit curled up against her as she held him with one hand. "This is my baby, Ash." Cami rubbed the cat's fur gently with the hand she was using to hold him against her chest.
"And this is Oli." Lottie held the orange tabby up by her face and smiled gleefully. "I think they want to watch you play video games Cami."
Cami laughed, "I'm sure that is exactly what they are thinking."
"Awe come on, you know they will help." Lottie walked out of the kitchen carrying Oli. Cami followed behind, still filming. They walked into the living room where the large windows gave them a view of the coast and the ocean. They had chosen to live in Maine because it was the perfect mix of their tastes. They could live on the coast for Cami and had the mountains for Lottie.
"Isn't this a beautiful view?" Cami walked toward the windows so she could record the view.
"We really lucked out when this went on the market." Lottie agreed. Oliver had curled up on the arm of the chair beside her. She grabbed her novel off of the coffee table to read while Lottie played her games. "It's perfect."
"That it is." Cami sat down in her favorite chair. Her playstation was already on from when she was playing while Lottie cooked breakfast. She sat her kitten down in her lap and grabbed her wireless controller. "And we appreciate all of you tuning in and checking out what it's like for us at home but now, I'm going to play some video games." She held the controller in the view of the camera. "I have to beat Omega's score."
Lottie grunted in amusement from her place on the couch.
"Oh shut up over there and read your book. I am going to kick his ass in this game." She said the final part to camera with a smile. She turned the camera to Lottie who looked up from her book and waved.
"See you next time!" Lotte waved.
Cami turned the camera back on herself. "Bye everybody." She switched off the camera and sat it down on the coffee table. She turned her game back on. "I really am going to kick his ass." She informed Lottie.
"I am sure he is shaking in his wrestling boots." Lottie teased.
Lottie and Cami stood outside in the warm California sun. They were waiting for James Corden to arrive to film their Carpool Karaoke segment to promote Fyter Fest. Cami was extremely excited about the wrestling themed karaoke segment. They had talked with James and his producers extensively about what songs they could sing on the show.
Lottie had chosen to wear a white Midi Swing SunDress with gold buttons down the high-waisted skirt. She paired the dress with white sandals. The sides of her hair were pulled back with a pearl clip that matched her pearl bracelet. Her makeup was done in light pinks.
Cami wore a pink and black rose skull dress with black boots. Her dark hair was down and wavy. She had chosen a smokey eyed look with blacks and pinks and black matte lipstick to go with her outfit. She also wore a black choker.
When the black SUV pulled up Cami squealed with excitement. She got into the front seat while Lottie happily occupied the backseat.
"Hi there ladies!" James greeted.
"Hi James!" they both said in unison, causing the British man to chuckle.
"Thank you for helping me get to work today. Traffic is a nightmare!"
"Our pleasure, James." Lottie said from the backseat. "We just happened to be in town today."
"Yes we had some things we were taking care of for the show this weekend."
"What is it like being professional wrestlers?" James asked.
"It's amazing." Cami said without hesitation. "I mean it's busy. We miss home and our family but, we wouldn't trade it for anything."
"Yea. It's a blast." Lottie confirmed. "And everyone in the company becomes like a second family. You see them so much - sometimes even more than your actual family - So, it is impossible not to form some kind of bond."
"I don't think I could do it. Going out their night after night -getting my face punched in for a live audience."
Cami laughed in the front seat. "We are trained professionals but, you're right. It can be very painful. We see a lot of brutal injuries - sometimes it ends careers."
"So wrestlers have that one special move they do that everyone knows them for - what are your finishers?"
"I do a corkscrew moonsault, which is like a spiral flip onto my opponent and Lottie does a tornado flatliner which means she either jumps off the ropes or the mat and swings around sending them fast first into the mat."
James cringed, "Ow, that is ridiculous. I can't even imagine why anyone would want to do that!"
The girls laughed. "We love going out and entertaining the fans. Just like you. You do it with your talk show and on movies and TV - we make art in the ring and on the mic." Lottie replied with a little shrug.
"What do you think my finisher would be if I was a wrestler?" James asked.
"I think an elbow drop." Lottie said.
"Or a frog splash." Cami added.
James laughed at their suggestions. "A frog splash. I feel sorry for whoever has to take that move from me." He adjusted the buttons on the radio.. "Do you girls mind if I turn on some music."
"Absolutely not. I love music." Cami beamed.
James switched on the radio and "Kingdom" by Downstait filled the car. Lottie and Cami instantly began to sing along. James sang along too. Lottie bopped her head along to the music while Cami sang along.
James turned off the music and gave Cami a smile, "Seems like you ladies have some hidden talents."
"Cami is an amazing singer. She has the voice to pull off that song. I sound too cutesy."
Cami blushed, "Like I said I love music."
"If your wrestling career ever ends you might want to look into broadway - just saying - damn girl." James snapped his fingers dramatically, causing both women to laugh.
"Our EVP's theme is quite a jam. I love listening to it to get pumped up. Just don't tell him it will only inflate his ego." Lottie laughed. Everyone loved to tease Cody about his arrogance.
"So your friends are all EVPs for the company."
"Yea, Cody, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are all members of the Elite and EVPs for AEW. They are doing an amazing job running the company."
James once again turned on the music and this time "Butterfly" by Crazy Town filled the car. The girls both laughed then began to sing. James had fun singing along with the classic.
Cami and Lottie danced in their seats as they sang along with the song.
When James turned off the music Lottie laughed, "I feel so ridiculous bopping around back here."
"Nah, you've got moves sis." Cami laughed.
"So that theme song belonged to one fo the female wrestlers who signed with AEW."
"Yes. Penelope Ford used that song before she signed with AEW. She is an amazing talent and definitely a star in the making. The women's division is growing and getting better every day." Cami praised.
"Definitely. Everyone should tune in and keep and eye on the ladies at AEW. They are all amazing and talented." Lottie confirmed.
"Battle Cry" was the next theme to blast through the speakers. Lottie and Cami had fun singing along.
"Kenny is another one of the EVPs and his song is an underrated jam." Cami said.
"It is perfect, really, and the One Winged Angel is probably one of the best finishers there is from one of the best wrestlers in the entire world - if not the best." Lottie confirmed.
"The V-trigger is pretty epic too. If you haven't watched a Kenny Omega match you are missing out. . . He is the best."
"You have pretty high praise for your coworkers." James pointed out. He glanced in the rearview mirror at Lotte then turned his attention to Cami, his arm resting on the center console.
"It is easy to praise your coworkers when they are some of the hardest working, most talented people you could meet." Cami said. "Everyone at AEW busts their butts to be the best and put on the best show they can for the fans. We are going to do it again this weekend at Fyter Fest."
James smiled at the plug for the show, "So we are almost to the studio. We have apparently saved the best song for last."
"Yes, this theme is totally my jam." Lottie said from the backseat.
James turned on the radio and Judas by Fozzy came on. The trio all sang along, dramatically, having an amazing time.
When the song faded out James pulled the car into the studio parking lot.
"We are here. Thank you ladies for helping me get to work."
"It was our pleasure James." Cami said as he parked the car.
They got out of the car to end the segment.
Lottie sat in the lobby of the hotel where the AEW crew was staying for the Fyter Fest Pay Per View. She wore a gold short sleeve dress with red flora print that fell a few inches above her knees. Her medium length hair was down in loose, tousled waves, and she wore a black hat atop her head to protect her from the afternoon sun. She wore her favorite pair of black wedge booties, a gold locket, and several bracelets to accent the outfit.
Adam had texted her earlier in the morning and asked if she wanted to go out for the afternoon. She had accepted the invite and told him she would meet him in the lobby at 11:30. She had been ready early and decided to wait for him by the front doors.
He stepped off the elevator at exactly 11:30 and she couldn't help but smile. She found his promptness adorable. Many men weren't punctual and she found his desire to impress her by being on time very sweet.
"Hey." He smiled as he walked up to her. "I hope you weren't waiting long."
She stood up and flattened the skirt of her dress, "Not at all. I finished getting ready a little early and decided to just come down and wait."
"You look nice."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome." He grabbed her hand, earning a smile, as they walked out of the hotel.
Dressed in a gray AC/DC shirt where material was cut to make it a deep v-neck, black shorts with a silver studded belt, and black converse, Cami was dressed to have brunch with Kenny. The Winnipeg Native had texted her the night before to see if she wanted to grab a bite to eat with him before his busy day of meeting for all things pertaining to the Fyter Fest event.
Cami was more than willing and able to meet up with him. So, she was meeting him in the lobby so they could go and grab something to eat. She had nothing in particular planned for the rest of the day, so she would probably take it easy for the rest of the day.
Kenny appeared in the flesh, dressed in a t-shirt, black gym shorts, and black tennisshoes. "Ready to go, Cami?"
Cami nodded. "I'm ready."
Kenny and Cami started walking alongside each other. "Nick and Matt told me there was this little diner not too far from the motel. I figured we could eat there."
"Sure." Kenny held the door open for Cami. "Thanks," she smiled.
"No problem." They walked a couple of blocks to the diner Matt and Nick recommended them to eat at. The Cleaner once again held a door open for Cami so she could enter.
It was a diner where you could seat yourself so Kenny led them to a booth beside a window. There were already menus at the table so they each grabbed a menu. Once Cami decided what she was going to eat, she looked at her male counterpart who was still gazing at the menu.
A waitress in her early twenties came to take their drink order. Kenny ordered a diet coke and Cami ordered Dr Pepper. While Cami knew what she wanted, Kenny still needed a minute to decide what he wanted to eat.
"What are you getting to eat?" Kenny wondered.
"I'm getting the garden omelette with a side of home fries."
"An omelette sounds good. I might get the southwest omelette."
"Are you going to get anything else?"
"I think I'm going to copy you and get a side of home fries myself."
"Copycat," Cami teased, sticking out her tongue at him.
Kenny laughed. "At least I admit that I'm copying you."
Their waitress came back with their drinks. They both said their thank yous and then placed their food order. Cami got the garden omelette and a side of home fries and Kenny got the southwest omelette with a side of home fries.
"Will you get any spare time during your busy day?"
"I'm supposed to get a break between three and four this afternoon."
"That's nice."
"Yeah. Afterwards, I have two more meetings pertaining to the event and then a production meeting tonight at six with the EVPs."
Cami nodded. "That's a very full schedule right there."
"Tell me about it," Kenny huffed. "Do you have anything else planned for today?"
"Not at all."
"You can come hang out with me during my break. I'm planning on spending my break in my motel room and I would enjoy your company."
"Are you sure?"
"Absolutely."
Cami smiled. "Okay. I'll put it on my itinerary for today." Their food came and both were satisfied with what they ordered. Kenny and Cami spent the rest of their brunch making mundane conversation while eating.
When it was time to pay, Cami opened her purse to get out some money. Kenny waved a finger at her. "This is on me." He left some money including the tip on the table and the two of them exited the diner.
Cami was now sitting with Matt and Nick on the beach. She was dressed in a two piece black bikini with white skulls printed everywhere. Matt had texted her to see if she and Lottie wanted to come to the beach with them, but Lottie was occupied with Hangman for the day, so it was just Cami who was hanging with The Young Bucks. "So, how did the promotionals go today?"
"It was good. We just had to get up so freaking early," Matt whined. "We have a production meeting to go to at six this evening."
"I bet you've already had three cups of coffee haven't you?" Cami teased.
"Nope, just two."
"Good for you," Cami laughed.
"Cami, how did yours and Lottie's thing go with Carpool Karaoke?" Nick inquired.
"It was so much fun!" Cami beamed.
"When we get back to the motel, that's the very first show we're watching."
"Aw," Cami cooed. "Lottie and I are honored."
"So, how was brunch with Kenny today?" Matt wondered.
Cami smiled. "It went good. That was a good recommendation you gave to him. I really enjoyed the garden omelette and home fries."
"I really like eating there because they have great food and it's a place of convenience."
"Agreed," Nick nodded. "Next time we're here, we're going to have to bring Lottie."
"Yes," Cami agreed. "I think she would love their garden omelette." Cami felt her phone vibrate. She smiled when she saw it was Kenny messaging her. I'm in my room. Feel free to stop by whenever.
Adam and Lottie ate lunch at a cute restaurant. She ordered coconut shrimp with rice and he ordered chicken with steamed vegetables. After paying the bill they left the restaurant. "Where are we going?"
"You'll see." He said as he led the way to the rental car. He opened the door for her and she got inside.
"Thank you." She said as he closed the door. She fastened her seatbelt while he got into the car. "You really like surprises don't you?"
"Don't you?"
"When I'm the one giving them." She shrugged. "I trust you though."
He smiled at the compliment, "Good to know. Thank you."
She nodded. "If I don't like what you have planned you will have to hear about it for a long time - you know that right?"
"I'm not worried." he smirked.
"Someone's feeling cocky."
He shrugged. "If you don't like it - I'll take my punishment."
She laughed, "I don't think I could be too mad at you."
"You shouldn't tell me that. I will remember it and use it against you when i do something stupid."
"Well at least you are honest."
He chuckled. "I try to be."
They rode in comfortable silence for about ten minutes before he pulled into a parking lot. She looked at the scene in front of her and smiled.
"Putt Putt Golf, seriously?"
"Do you hate it?" He sounded worried and she laughed.
"No but, I feel like a teenager again." She got out of the car. He did the same and locked the doors. She watched as a few families walked by. "Maybe we should have borrowed someone's kid so we would look less creepy hanging around here." They walked toward the booth to buy their admission to the course.
"What's creepy about Putt Putt, isn't it for everyone?"
She laughed, "I guess so." She grabbed his hand as they walked over to the office.
He got their tickets, putters, and balls. She followed him into the course. She didn't know what was going to happen but, she was certain it was going to be a good time.
After finishing the course they returned their supplies to the office.
Adam had won the game and was pretty proud of himself.
"Aren't you supposed to be sweet and let me win."
"I don't remember that being in any gentleman's handbook."
"Gentleman's handbook?" She laughed. "What the heck is that?"
"All of the guides to being a perfect gentleman."
"Isn't your daddy supposed to teach you how to treat a lady, not a guide book."
He chuckled. "What can I say? I'm a bit competitive."
"Lucky for you I'm not a sore loser." She smiled and laced her arm through his. He smiled down at ther. "I had a lot of fun, even if I'm terrible."
"Yea, you were pretty terrible." He laughed when she playfully swatted his arm.
"That is where a gentleman would say I am not terrible."
"I'm honest, remember?"
She scoffed, "You're lucky you're cute."
"So I'm cute now, huh?" He teased, causing her to blush. "Thank you." He led her away from the put put course in the opposite direction of the parking lot.
"Where are we going?"
"There is one more thing I think you will enjoy."
"I can't wait to find out what it is."
He led her to a wooden plank bridge. Several alligators were relaxing beneath the bridge.
"Wow, look at them - they're huge."
"Yea they are."
"It's amazing how long they have been around." She looked down at the alligators,
"Aren't they cute?"
"I don't know if cute is the word I would use but, they are pretty awesome." He smirked at her enthusiasm. "Do you want to feed one?"
"We can feed them?" She asked, shocked. He nodded in response. "Then hell yes."
Still in her bathing suit with a simple black cover-up over it and black flip flops, Cami made her way down the hallway to Kenny's room. Arriving at his room, she knocked on the door.
Kenny opened the door. Cami walked inside, her heart racing. The Best Bout Machine unexpectedly pushed Cami against the door, crashing his lips onto hers. He removed her cover-up, in return, she removed his shirt.
"What are we doing?" Cami asked breathlessly.
"Ever since we hooked up at Double or Nothing, I've been wanting to do it again with you. I've thought about it the whole time since we've been here." When he removed her bathing suit off her body, she removed his bottom attire. "Is this okay with you?" Even though they were both in the nude since they stripped each other of clothes, he still wanted her consent.
"Fuck yes!" She wrapped her legs around his waist, he carried her to the bed, their lips still attached. With their bodies entwined with each other, they had a moment of passion. When they finished hooking up, they each put their clothes back on. "So, are we friends with benefits?"
"We could label that as such," Kenny responded. He slid his shirt over his head.
"If either of us wants release, we can hit each other up?"
"I'm going to be your booty call?" Kenny laughed.
"I'll be your booty call."
"I don't know how to feel about this. It's common for people your age to do this sort of stuff - the majority of people my age are already settled down."
"Why are you making this more complicated than it should be?" Cami retorted. "You're singleā¦.I'm single, we both need a lay every once in a while, it makes sense to turn to each other for our needs. Plus, we've already hooked up twice."
"I will admit: the hookups with you are great."
"See?" Cami laughed. "Another reason we should do this. Throw all the other factors out the window, just look at this as two friends who hook up whenever. No strings attached."
"Alright, alright," Kenny finally agreed. "I'll be your friend with benefits."
"It's official then," Cami smiled. She hoped she could put her feelings aside.
Cami was sorting through her suitcase. She was trying to gather everything that she would need for Fyter Fest. She pulled out her attire she would be wearing for the show.
Her attire for night was a lime green active crop top that zipped up at the chest with black stripes on the side and lime green joggers with black stripes on the side. She was accompanying Kenny, Nick, and Matt to the ring and they were cosplaying as someone from Street Fighter.
Cami frowned whenever she saw she had a tear in her attire. She made a beeline for the seamstresses station. She paced down the hallway - a woman on a mission.
When she got there, she saw Kenny there. He was talking to one of the seamstresses. She noticed he had a headset on with a clipboard on his hand. He was running the Fyter Fest event, so she knew he was busy. She wasn't going to bother him with any interaction. Cami showed her tear to another seamstress. "I am so sorry, I know you're busy, but I have this tear in my attire for tonight."
"It's okay, honey, I'll fix it for you. No problem."
Kenny stood beside Cami. His headset was around his neck, indicating he had a little free time. "Everything alright, Cami?"
"I have a tear in my attire," Cami frowned.
"I'm sorry. I had to get completely new gear made for The Bucks because their luggage with their attire went missing."
"I'm sorry. I know things aren't going smoothly for you, but considering everything that's going on, I think you're doing a great job running the show."
"Thank you," he smiled. Kenny put his headset back in place. "Okay, I'll be right there," he spoke to the person on the other end of the headset. He placed his hand on Cami's, "I'll catch up with you later." He let go of her hand and sped down the hallway.
Cami sighed. Even though she didn't get as much interaction with Kenny as she wanted, she was still grateful she got any sort of interaction with him considering how busy he was.
Lottie was backstage in the locker room she was sharing with her sister. She grabbed her attire for the evening out for the tote bag she had brought with her to the arena. Cami had gone to see the seamstress because part of her attire was ripped, so Lottie took the opportunity to change.
She had decided to try something different with her outfit for the evening. She changed into a neon green strapless bikini. She then put on a pair of medium wash denim shorts with rhinestone fringe embellishments. She opened up a shoe box and pulled out her new cowboy boots. She purchased them online after she found out she would be escorting Adam to the ring again. The "Almost Famous" blue cowboy boots with floral designs would go perfect with her outfit.
She slid them on, pleased to find they were actually rather comfortable. She left her hair down and straight. She did her eye makeup with neutral colors and black eyeliner. She finished off the look with red lipstick.
She was putting her makeup bag away when her sister walked into the room. Cami was carrying her newly fixed attire. "I love your outfit sis." She said, looking over Lotties outfit. "Nice shoes. You decided to go all in."
"Thanks." Lottie smiled. "I figured if I was going to play the part I better put my all into it. Aren't they perfect with the outfit though?"
"They definitely match. Which I know is important to you."
"Damn right it is."
Cami rolled her eyes and opened her make up bag after gently placing her attire on top of a chair. She took Lottie's place in front of the mirror and began applying her makeup.
Lottie frowned when her phone rang. Curious about who would be calling her when she was at work and anyone could find her, if need be, she grabbed her phone.
Her expression quickly broke into a big smile as she answered the call, "Hi!"
"Hi Colette, sweetie, How are you two doing?"
"Everything is great. We are just getting ready for the show." Cami glanced back at her sister in the mirror with mild curiosity before returning her attention back to her makeup bag to find her mascara.
"Your father and I will be watching." Their mother informed her. "WE are so proud of you both."
"Thank you mom. We are so happy to be here." Cami dropped her mascara and turned around.
"You have both worked so hard you deserve this." Her mother said. "We have to go. We have to go get dinner before the show starts. We don't want to miss a second of it. Good luck tonight." She said.
She could hear her father yell 'good luck' in the background, causing her to laugh. "Thank you. I will let Cami know."
"We love you."
"We love you too. Bye Mom." Lottie hung up the phone and tucked into the pocket of her shorts.
"That was mom?"
"Yea she was just calling to wish us good luck and say that she was proud of us."
Cami scoffed and turned back around to finish applying her mascara. "How nice of her."
Lottie frowned at her sister's sudden change in demeanor. "You okay?"
"Fine. Just going to finish getting ready."
Lottie knew better than to believe her sister was okay but, she also knew better than to push her and make her angrier. "Okay. I'll just leave you to it. I'm going to go talk to the guys."
"Sure."
Lottie left the room, closing the door behind her. She felt bad that her sister was upset on a day that should have been really exciting for them both.
Lottie met Adam at Gorilla. He smiled when she approached him. "Nice boots." He said.
"Thanks. I am thinking I need to get a few more pairs. I have been getting a lot of compliments on them tonight."
"If you get more boots that means you will need a good reason to wear them, right?"
"You mean I can't just kick around the house in cowboy boots?"
"Well, yea you could - or you could keep being my valet. Your choice."
"HMMM. I think I prefer the latter."
He smiled in response.
Jimmy Havoc, MJF, and Jungle Boy joined them in Gorilla. MJF's music hit and he went out first.
A crew member brought Lottie a microphone for the promo she was going to cut before the match. She thanked him as he walked away.
She sucked in a deep breath and exhaled it slowly. She felt like there were a million butterflies loose in her stomach. It didn't matter that she had already been out in front of a large crowd on numerous occasions - she would always be nervous.
"You've got this. You killed it last time and you'll do it again." Adam commented.
She smiled gratefully. The fans were booing at MJF's promo. He was currently getting the fans riled up and chanting video games. Adam and Lottie prepared to make their entrance. "Yea I loved video games and then I lost my virginity." He taunted, laughing at the crowd.
Adam's music hit and Adam and Lottie stepped onto the stage to a roar from the crowd. Adam walked beside Lottie as she began to speak, "Oh Maxy, Oh Maxy." She said as she walked toward the ring with Adam. MJF talked back to her but she ignored him. "Out here carrying on with your spoiled, rich kid attitude and your frat boy humor. Go ahead and get your few cents in now because the only thing you're going to be remembered for after tonight is running your mouth off and then getting your ass handed to you." She continued to talk as she walked down to the ring. Adam held the ropes for her as she got into the ring and they both stood across from him.
MJF scoffed, "Okay horse whisperer, I know you think you have yourself a prized stallion over there but really you're placing all your bets on bad form. You should cash out before the fire sale."
Lottie rolled her eyes, "I think I have made a pretty solid choice on my bet to win tonight. I mean, picking between you and Adam" She took a step closer to MJF, "I am pretty sure any 'stallion'" She used air quotes to indicate she was playing off of his horse jokes, "Can kick the crap out of a jackass, am I right?"
MJF glowered at her while the fans laughed. "Oh hahaha, Lottie. Aren't' you just so clever?" He pretended to laugh.
"Thank you." She smiled and some of the fans in the audience laughed. "I mean, I am clearly nowhere as clever as you. I mean, you bring everyone a lot of joy . . . when you leave the room."
Adam smirked at her comment while MJF looked pissed. "Please, you should be honored to stand in my presence, Colette, It is such an upgrade from hanging round the stables with your usual company. I understand it might be hard for you to know just how to act when interacting with someone like me. It's okay. Don't burn out your brain cells trying to come up with something to say. I know how little use your mind gets."
The comment was greeted with boos. "Oh Maxy, you think talking down to people makes you look tough. We all know you're just overcompensating. That cocky attitude of yours makes up for your lack of cockiness elsewhere, right?"
MJF made a move for her but Adam stepped in his way, earning cheers from the fans. MJF took a step back and laughed it off.
"Alright, I've had enough of this. Bring out Emo phase and Tarzan and let's get this match started so I can kick everyone's ass because I am getting the win tonight because I am better than all of you." MJF tossed his mic out of the ring.
Lottie got out of the ring and jumped down to stand at ringside while Jimmy made his entrance. Jungle Boy made his entrance last to a pop from the crowd. After the bell rang Lottie moved to one side of the ring so she could cheer Adam on. The match started with everyone taking swings at each other and Havoc and MJF ending up outside the ring. Lottie cheered Adam on as he and Jungle Boy battled it out in the ring.
Havoc made his way back into the ring after a step-up hurricanrana from Jungle Boy took Adam out of the picture momentarily. Havoc and Jungle Boy battled it out with Havoc taking down Jungle Boy before MJF snuck into the ring and went for the roll up on Havoc. Havoc kicked out at two. MJF then tried to roll up Jungle Boy but he also kicked out.
Havoc was up and took down MJF with an elbow. Lottie cheered on Adam as he joined the fray and went for the dead eye but failed. He turned his sights on Jungle Boy and hit him with a fall away slam.
MJF had rolled out of the ring and was up in Lottie's face arguing with her. Adam went for the springboard on MJF but MJF pulled Lottie into the line of fire and managed to get away. Lottie crumpled on the floor. The fan all booed loudly.
Adam went to check on Lottie but the interaction was short lived. He got to his feet quickly when he noticed Havoc making a move and took a running senton off the arpon.
Both Adam and Lottie were down as the other three men continued to battle it out. MJF took some time to taunt the crowd.
A trainer appeared at ringside to check on Lottie. She was stirring, much to the delight of the crowd.
Adam made his way to the feet and once again joined the match while the trainer checked on Lottie at ringside. Adam went after MJF and took him out with the lariat. He rolled out of the ring and onto the floor. He took a minute to walk over and taunt Lottie, who was now sitting up with assistance from the trainers. She clutched her left arm and glared at him.
Inside the ring Adam went for the cover on Jungle boy. MJF grabbed Jungle Boy's foot from the outside and put it on the rope to break the pin.
Havoc hit Adam with a german suplex, putting him temporarily out of the equation.
Outside the ring Lottie was on her feet. While MJF joined fray inside the ring. The trainer encouraged her to go to the back but she waved him off.
She made her way to the ring apron as MJF went for the cover. She grabbed Havoc and pulled him out of the ring, breaking up the pin. Adam got back in the ring and began to battle it out with MJF in the middle of the ring. Lottie pounded her good arm on the apron and yelled encouragement at Adam.
The guys battled to put each other in submissions but neither were able to get the submission. The crowd booed as MJF was able to reach the ropes and break up the hold.
MJF hit the heat seeker on Page but Jungle Boy broke up the cover. MJF tried to take out Jungle Boy but he was caught by Luchasaurus who swung him back into the ring. Havoc once again joined the fray, taking out Jungle Boy for real and turning his sights on MJF. MJF hit him with the double stomp. MJF went for the eye poke on Havoc.
Adam hit the buckshot lariat on Havoc. He grabbed MJF and tossed him out of the ring. Lottie pounded the mat and cheered as Adam set Havoc up. He hit the rite of passage for the win.
Lottie rolled into the ring to celebrate with Adam. He asked if she was alright and she nodded to let him know she was fine. He smiled when hugged him and raised his arm in victory.
The Elite members appeared on stage all cosplaying as a Street Fighter character. The Bucks came out as Ken and Ryu, Omega showed up as Akuma with his hair dyed red and Akuma's japanese symbol on his back, and Cami as Laura with her lime green outfit paired with black ankle booties, her black short hair down in curls paired with a black headband with sugar skulls, and her eye makeup was done with a black smokey eye with lime green eyeliner on her top lid, and her lips were stained with black matte lipstick.
Ring announcer Justin Roberts played up the theme by announcing "Round 1 ... fight!" to begin the match.
The match started with a hot double superkick into a hurricanrana by the Lucha team. Matt Jackson hit three northern lights suplexes that rocked the crowd. Laredo Kid hit a fantastic tope suicida diving through the legs of Penta, who was stretching the ropes open. Omega hit a trio of snapdragon suplexes to slow down the Lucha team, but they quickly retook the advantage as Penta literally threw his brother Rey Fenix over the ringpost into Nick.
All six competitors traded superkicks before the Luchas hit a trio of them and then The Elite countered with three hadoukens (a touch-less move from Street Fighter) and three powerbombs.
Fenix hit a cutter on Omega before he could hit a tope con hilo, and Nick hit a reverse cutter on Fenix to even the sides. Matt then picked up Penta outside the ring for a Meltzer Driver, but Fenix stopped Nick's attempted leap by hitting a stunning Spanish fly off the top rope onto the duo.
Back in the ring, Omega hit a Tiger Driver 98 on Laredo Kid but only got a two count. He followed with a V-trigger and One Winged Angel for the pinfall.
Cami entered the ring and celebrated with the victors. She escorted them up the ramp. When Kenny, Cami, Matt, and Nick got backstage, they were greeted by Adam and Lottie.
"Great job out there," Lottie smiled. "That was a fun match."
"Thanks, Lottie," Nick replied.
"Thank you. It was fun," Matt responded. "Nick and I have to meet up with Cody. We'll see you all later." Matt and Nick disappeared down the hallway.
Cami didn't say anything, just bypassed everyone and went straight for the dressing room. She had enough of the day. Cami's actions alarmed Kenny. "What's wrong with your sister?" Kenny inquired Lottie.
"She's had a rough weekend. I guess that she's over it."
"I didn't do anything, did I?" Although he did have brunch and a brief hookup with Cami the day before, The Best Bout Machine felt bad for not having much other interaction with Cami this weekend, but he was busy preparing everything for Fyter Fest.
"She is just upset that she didn't have much time to spend with you this weekend, but you didn't do anything to her," Lottie assured. "Our parents called us today, but only spoke to me, not her."
Kenny nodded. Now he was understanding. He remembered what Cami admitted to him that night after Double or Nothing about how she felt inferior to Lottie. Their parents only speaking with Lottie and not Cami sure didn't help matters. "I'll have free time once the show is over. I want to do something to help cheer up Cami."
"You can always stop by the motel room," Lottie suggested. "She would be more than glad to see you."
"I was going to ask you if you wanted to hang out after the show," Adam said to Lottie.
Lottie beamed and nodded.
Kenny raised a finger. "I have an idea."
"What do you have in mind?" Lottie wondered.
"Page and I can get food and we just hang out with you and Cami."
"That's a good idea, man," Adam agreed.
"That's sweet," Lottie cooed. "I can never turn down food and Cami will be more than pleased with that."
"Alright." Kenny clapped his hands together. "I just need to finish up last minute stuff for the show, get showered, and then I'll meet up with you," Kenny spoke to Adam.
"Sounds good, man."
"See you later, Kenny." Lottie waved to him as he was getting ready to walk down the hallway. She gazed at Adam, "I guess I better go get changed."
"Let me walk you to your dressing room."
"Thank you," Lottie smiled. She and Adam walked down the hallway to the dressing room Cami and Lottie were sharing.
It was almost midnight, Lottie and Cami were both dressed down, relaxing in their motel room. Lottie heard her phone chime. She saw a message from Adam. We're here. Soon after, there was a knock. Lottie smiled to herself.
Cami's eyebrows were furrowed and she had a quizzical expression. "Who in the world is knocking on our motel room door this time of the night?"
"I don't know, but I'll see." Lottie got off the bed to answer the door. She pretended to look at the peephole so she wouldn't raise concerns from her sister. Lottie opened the door and there was Kenny and Adam in the flesh, both of them holding a box of pizza from Domino's. "Come on in."
Kenny entered the room first and Cami's eyes lit up. "What are you doing here?"
"I came to hang out with you - if that's alright?"
Cami nodded. She sat up on the bed. Kenny sat on the bed and laid the pizza box between him and Cami. She looked up momentarily, seeing that Adam was in the room too. "Hey, Adam. Nice to see you."
Adam chuckled. "I'm sure it's not as nice as it is to see Kenny though." He and Lottie went to the bed Lottie was occupying and took a seat.
Cami felt her cheeks go hot. "Thanks for the pizza." She grabbed a piece of the pepperoni and sausage pizza.
"No problem," Kenny smiled. It was nice to see that Cami was back to being her cheerful self.
"Yes, thank you for the pizza," Lottie smiled in Adam's direction. "This is very sweet." Lottie grabbed a piece of chicken wing pizza.
"You're welcome. It's nice to just have pizza and be in the pleasure of good company." He smiled a bright smile at Lottie, who felt her heart flutter.
Adam and Lottie were doing their own interacting and Kenny and Cami were doing their own interacting. With each pairing having their own conversation, eating pizza, and just being in each other's company, it was a great way to end the night.
