Battleships
All Out

Are you busy? Want to hang out before we have to go to the arena?

Lottie hit the send button. She had been spending plenty of time with Adam but it still made her nervous initiating an outing. She sat her phone on the dresser as she stood in front of the mirror. She had decided to wear the dress she was going to wear to the arena on her outing. She decided to pair the sky blue, eyelet embroidered, short sleeved, dress with a pair of tan wedge booties. Her tan hat sat on the dresser beside her phone. She didn't need it in the hotel room but she would want it when she went out into the afternoon sun.

She dusted light blue eyeshadow over her eyelids and coated her lashes with mascara. She coated her lips with light pink lip gloss.

She smiled when her phone chimed. She dropped her lip gloss back in her make up bag and picked up her phone.

Sure, what do you have in mind?

You'll see, meet you outside your room in 20.

I'll be ready.

She sat her phone down and grabbed her eyeliner. She applied a light coat around her eyes.

Once she had completed her makeup she grabbed her key card, purse, hat, and rental keys.

Adam was leaning against his hotel room door when Lottie arrived. He smiled when he saw her approaching.

"Well doesn't someone look gorgeous?" He stood up to his full height.

Lottie felt her cheeks grow hot, "Thank you."

He smirked at her reaction, "Are you going to tell me where we are going yet?"

"I told you it's a surprise." She led the way to the elevator and hit the down button. "You'll just have to be patient."

"Do I seem like a patient person to you, Lottie?"

"I think so, yes."

They stepped onto the elevator when the doors opened.

A short drive later Lottie pulled up in front of a grocery store.

"This looks like a grocery store." Adam shot her a confused glance as he unbuckled his seatbelt.

Lottie rolled her eyes as she cut the engine, "Well that's because it is a grocery store."

"A grocery store?" He sounded skeptical. "I don't know if you have the whole planning a date thing down yet darlin'."

Lottie rolled her eyes again. "You are staging in the car." She unbuckled her seatbelt and grabbed her purse from the backseat.

"If you keep rolling your eyes at me they are going to get stuck that way."

"Well if you don't want a wonky eyed date then don't be a jerk."

"While, I'm sure you would still be beautiful even if you had wonky eyes." He used air quotes, "I will do my best."

Lottie shook her head and opened the car door, "I appreciate the effort." She deadpanned. "Stay here and be a good boy. I'll be right back." She stepped out of the car and closed the door behind her.

He smirked and waved at her through the window as she walked into the store.

Lottie hadn't been long in the grocery store. Once she returned to the car she spent some time unpacking the cart and putting the items in the trunk. Adam had unbuckled his seat belt to get out and help but, she told him, once again, to stay in the car. He had obliged and a few short minutes later she got in the driver's seat after returning her cart.

They went for a short drive before crossing a bridge then turning off of the road into a large parking lot. Adam looked around but, there were no buildings and there was no one around.

"Where are we?"

"The lake." Lottie smiled and got out of the car.

Confused, he followed her lead and got out of the car. He snapped the door shut while she popped the trunk. He walked over to see what she was up to. He gave a little smirk when he saw the weaved wicker basket and cooler in the trunk.

"A picnic?" He grabbed the cooler.

"I thought it would be fun." She grabbed the wicker basket and slid it on to her arm

"It is so . . . you." He said, closing the trunk.

Lottie frowned, "What do you mean?" She didn't want to mess up the first date she had initiated. She knew she should have talked to someone to get better ideas.

"I just mean it's a cute idea. It suits you." He shrugged. "You're cute and sweet and so is this kind of a date."

"I'm sorry." Lottie tried not to sound disappointed. The idea of him disliking their date bothered her.

"Why are you sorry?" He turned his gaze toward her, brow furrowed. "I like it." He took his free arm and wrapped it around her.

She felt her cheeks grow hot. "Thank you, Adam."

He smiled in response. "So where are we having this picnic."

"I think maybe that table right there by the water? Or that nice flat spot if you want to sit on the ground."

"What kind of picnic would it be if we didn't sit on the ground."

Lottie nodded and opened up the wicker basket. She got out a large blanket and spread it out in the grass. She sat the basket down on it. She got down on her knees.

Adam sat down on the other side of the blanket and opened up the cooler. He chucked when he looked inside. He grabbed one of the bottles of beer and popped the top. He then grabbed one of the bottles of iced tea she had packed and handed it to her.

She got out a variety of different finger foods - fresh cut fruits and veggies, meat and cheese, and crackers.

"I swear I know how to cook. I would have made stuff to bring but, there aren't any kitchens in the hotel this time."

"This is okay." He smiled and grabbed a piece of pineapple and ate it..

"Well I'm not sure how fresh fruit will go with beer but -"

"Don't worry, Lottie. It's perfect." He chuckled.

She blushed, realizing she was over doing it with her apology. She nodded and grabbed a strawberry. "Well one day I will cook you a real dinner. I actually enjoy cooking."

"Well I will have that to look forward to then."

"Are you ready for tonight - the title match is going to be amazing."

"It sure is. I am ready…"

"You are going to be amazing." Lottie smiled proudly. "The fans are going to be rooting for you against Chris."

"They are supposed to though."

"Still. They are getting really invested in you."

"I appreciate their support. I appreciate yours more though."

Lottie smiled and rolled her eyes. "Okay ,casanova." She grabbed another piece of pineapple and threw it at him. He grabbed it and ate it. "Seriously I have been reading what they are saying on social media - they seem to like that I am your valet too."

"Do they now?"

Lottie nodded. She grabbed a carrot stick and took a bite. Once she was done chewing she continued. "They seem to think we have good chemistry."

"Well we do don't we?" Adam gave her an inquisitive look.

"And some of them seem to speculate that we are in a relationship."

Adam took a sip of his beer, "Aren't we?"

"We never really talked about that. I mean I know we were dating but . . ."

"There's a difference?" Adam frowned.

Lottie giggled at his confusion. "Of course there is. My gosh you are adorable."

"Glad my lack of knowledge when it comes to relationship complexity is funny to you." He shook his head.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean that. I guess some people use the terms interchangeably… but really dating is what you do to get to know a person better - a relationship is when you decide you want to be more committed to the person because you think you have something special."

"Guess that makes sense." Adam nodded. He grabbed a piece of meat off of the one platters and took a bite.

"So if you are dating - it is just casual and experimental. If you are in a relationship - it is more serious - you are committing to that person for an extended period of time and becoming more emotionally intimate."

"Beautiful and smart." He smiled, causing the brunette to blush again. She had lost track of how many times he was able to have that effect on her. "So all of the fans think we are - in a relationship.?"

"Not all, per say, but, a fair few."

"Hmmm." Adam finished off his piece of meat.

"I was kind of surprised." She said.

"Why?"

Lottie shrugged her shoulders. "I guess I just figured we weren't actually there yet so I didn't think it would look like we were there."

"Maybe it's because we should be there."

Lottie scoffed, waving her hand to the side . . . Adam stared at her, looking serious. She dropped her hand on to her lap, and tilted her head slightly to the side, "are you being serious?"

"Yea. If I wasn't serious I wouldn't have suggested it. I think you are amazing, we always have fun together, you're gorgeous, we get along great, you're smart and funny, I wouldn't mind making this more serious."

Lottie felt like her heart was going to beat out of her chest. More serious? Her shoulders were tense and her palms were sweaty. She inhaled a deep breath.

"But, if you aren't ready - that's okay. We can wait. . . or split up if you aren't happy - are you unhappy?"

Lottie felt a twinge in her stomach when he suggested they could break up. She hated that idea. She enjoyed being with him. She felt comfortable with him.

She shook her head. She locked eyes with him for a moment. He was serious. She tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"No, I don't want to split up. I am ready for this to be more serious too." He smiled and grabbed her hand, pulling her closer for a quick kiss on the lips. She smiled sweetly. Her head felt like it was swimming. She couldn't believe what was happening.

"I think we need to commemorate this occasion with a photo."

"Whatever you want, babe." He smiled. "I'm not going to need a picture to remember this."

Lottie swooned. "Okay charming, but still. I want one. Just so I can have a picture of your adorable face next to mine."

He chuckled, "I'll accept that bribery." He got to his feet and held his hand to her. "Let's take it by the water."

"That's a great idea." She took his hand and got up. They walked toward the water. They took one picture standing side by side in front of the water. Lottie looked at the picture. "We look pretty good together."

Adam laughed, "Yea, we do." He wrapped his arms around her waist and gave her a quick peck on the lips.

"I think we need another one though." Lottie smiled up at him.

"Whatever you want."

She smiled brightly. She stood behind him wrapping one arm over his shoulder and across his chest. She laid her other arm over top of his, letting it rest just below his shoulder. He got his camera out and they both smiled. He took the picture and showed it to her.

"Please send it to me." She waited while he set the picture to her via text message. She then saved it to her phone before opening it up and looking at it again.

"I love it." She smiled. "Can I post it?" She didn't want to post anything if he wasn't ready to share the news about their relationship.

"If that is what you want to do. I've got to make sure all of the guys know you are off the market. I don't want any competition."

Lottie giggled. "You are such a dork." She opened up her instagram and posted the picture with a caption.

LottieRogers: *music note emoji* And the world has somehow shifted, All at once everything looks different, Now that I see you *heart eye emoji, red heart emoji, music note emoji* #theelite #allout

She posted the same photo with the same caption on twitter.

As they walked back to the blanket, she wondered what everyone's reaction would be when they saw it.

Cami walked into the arena by her lonesome, her suitcase towing behind her. She was dressed in a black and white skull and crossbone dress, black knee high stockings, and combat boots. She paired the outfit with a black and gray spiky bracelet.

She put neon green streaks in her hair that were going to go with her outfit for the show. A gray beanie sat atop of her head.

She felt her phone vibrate in her black handbag that was across her body. She got out her phone and saw she had a message from Kenny. Have you made it the arena yet?

Yes, I just arrived. I'm not too far from catering.

Cool. I'll meet up with you.

Cami smiled to herself as she put her phone back inside her handbag. The Best Bout Machine appeared out of nowhere.

"Hey," Kenny greeted. He noticed that Lottie wasn't with her. "Did you lose your sister?"

Cami laughed. "No. She and Adam rode together."

"If I would've known that I would've let you catch a ride with The Bucks and I." Kenny took Cami's suitcase from her and started towing it behind him.

"I know it's a very busy day for you and the rest of The Elite - I didn't want to intrude."

"You wouldn't have been intruding in the slightest."

"Well, I made it here safe and sound all by myself. I am such a grown up."

"You're a dork," Kenny chuckled.

"It takes one to know one," Cami countered.

"Once you drop off your belongings in the women's dressing room, do you want to hang out for a little bit? We can discuss some parts for our match and all that fun stuff."

"I would like that."

"By the way, I love the neon green streaks in your hair."

Cami blushed. "Thanks. I wanted to add a little something extra for the pay-per-view."

"You're going to be a stunner."

"Always the flatterer, Omega."

"I try."

"Would you mind if we filmed a quick scene for mine and Lottie's vlog?"

"Not at all."

"Great!" Cami got out her phone from her handbag. She put her phone in video mode. "Hey everyone! I have an Elite guest with me right now. You have wanted more of him, so here he is to give the people want they want."

Cami put the focus on Kenny. "Hey everyone."

"So, Kenny, are you ready for All Out?"

Cami looked at Kenny as he spoke. "I sure am. Tonight is definitely going to be a memorable night."

"It's going to be a memorable night for sure."

"I'm sure that someone within the Elite is going to be a trending topic when the pay-per-view is over with."

Cami smirked. "I guess we'll have to wait and see."

"Yes we will."

"Tune into All Out tonight to find out what happens," Cami said. She shut off the phone and put it back in her handbag.

"Tonight is definitely going to be a memorable night," Kenny stated matter-of-factly. "Speaking of…" Kenny handed Cami the extra key card to his room. "You can go to my motel room whenever you want after the show."

Cami felt her cheeks get hot. They continued walking down the hallway making mundane conversation along the way.

Lottie stood backstage, holding her phone, recording the hustle and bustle as everyone prepared for All Out. Cami was going over spots with Kenny for his match later in the evening, so, Lottie decided to explore and film some stuff for their youtube channel.

She spotted Jericho and walked up to him, "Hi Chris?" She smiled sweetly, pointing the camera at his face.

He gave her a disgruntled look, "Hello Lottie."

"Are you ready for your big match for the AEW Title tonight?" She inched closer to him and turned the camera so that it was on both of them.

"Absolutely. I'm going to kick that cowboy's ass and become the first ever AEW champion."

Lottie scoffed, "I doubt that."

"Oh you'll see." He smiled smugly. "What are you doing running around with a camera anyway. You should be getting ready for the show."

"I am filming for Camille's and I's blog. You are going to be one of our guest stars."

"Funny. I don't remember agreeing to that."

"The atmosphere for the show is amazing. Everyone is so excited."

"We are going to put on one hell of a show tonight." Jercho nodded, "Hopefully all of the fans in attendance and at home have fun."

"I am sure they will. Thanks for talking to me Chris. I'll leave you to finish getting ready."

He nodded and she walked off. She filmed some of the crew getting ready and stopped to say hello to some of the wrestlers including, Joey Janela, Darby Allin, Cody and Brandi, and Britt Baker.

She was just walking back toward her locker room when she ran into Matt and Nick.

"Ello Boys." She smiled sweetly as she recorded them on the camera, "Got a minute to talk to me?"

Nick feigned annoyance, "I suppose we could spare a minute."

Lottie giggled and wrapped her arm around his shoulder, "That is so kind of you." She rolled her eyes. "Can you guys tell us anything about your match tonight?"

Matt had made his way behind the two so he was also in the camera shot, "Only that it is going to be fucking amazing."

"Don't think too highly of yourselves there boys." Lottie teased.

"You know we are going to put on one hell of a match because -"

"You are the best tag team in the world." Lottie finished, smirking.

"Exactly." Nick nodded. "Aren't you going to be watching and supporting your best friend."

"Of course I am going to be watching. I am going to watch all of the matches. I'm so excited for all of them."

"Seeing we have you here. We need to ask you about this instagram post we saw earlier." Nick said, grabbing his phone. He scrolled through his feed and brought up the picture of Colette and Adam. He showed it to the camera before showing it to Lottie. "What's up with this?"

"I posted a picture with Hangman Adam Page." Lottie said nonchalantly.

"With sappy disney lyrics and you two look mighty close. This sounds like we have a couple in the Elite."

Lottie shrugged, "And?"

"We want confirmation of our suspicions."

"You have a photo."

"Don't beat around the bush, Lottie."

"Call Adam and put him on speaker." Lottie instructed.

Matt got out his phone and called Adam. Lottie moved the phone closer so the camera could pick up the caller id. Adam answered on the second ring.

"Hello? Matt?"

"Hello." Lottie said into the phone.

"Lottie, what are you doing with Matt's phone."

"I'm filming with mine and I'm with Matt and Nick."

"Why didn't you guys just find me instead of calling me?" Adam asked, confused.

"Matt and Nick have cornered me in the hallway by catering."

"Do you need rescuing?" He asked, still sounding confused.

"Aww that's sweet but, no. They are looking for some information."

"What kind of information?"

"They are questioning me about my instagram post. They want to know the status of our 'relationship." Lottie emphasised the word relationship.

Matt frowned when the phone went dead. "He hung up on us."

"Looks like he isn't interested in answering your question." Lottie shrugged her shoulders.

"Or maybe he felt stupid talking on the phone when he was fifty feet down the hall." Adam said, approaching the three of them. Matt moved over so Adam could also be in the frame.

"This all seems very silly." Lottie giggled.

"The fans have left you several comments asking if you guys are together and we were wondering the same thing."

Lottie frowned, "I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to answer any comments today. It has been a very busy day but, to answer your question. Yes. We are."

Adam put a hand on Lottie's shoulder, "That's right. Sorry guys, this lovely lady is off of the market."

Lottie shook her head and smiled, "Do you feel better now, boys?"

"Yes, our curiosity has been lifted." Nick said.

"Well we better finish getting ready for our match." Matt said.

"Hope everyone enjoys the show!" Nick added.

"I need to finish getting ready as well. Until next time, lovelies." she blew a kiss to the camera before turning off the video. "Thanks boys."

Nick frowned, "How could you reveal your relationship on instagram for the entire world to see before you told your best friend?" Nick asked.

"I wanted you to be surprised. Just like everyone else. Besides you knew Adam and I were dating."

"But - - best friend?" Nick repeated. Adam laughed at Nick's antics, crossing his arms over his chest.

Lottie once again rolled her eyes, "Don't be a drama llama. I'm sorry I didn't tell you before I posted it. Next time I have big news I will tell you first."

"Thank you." Nick sounded. "I guess that's the best I will get."

"Don't worry there isn't going to be anymore 'big steps' any time soon." Lottie added.

"And if there are I better hear about it first. Don't you go running to Cami."

"She's my sister."

"Best friend trumps sister."

"Even male best friends?" Adam asked, surprised.

"He is making up friendship rules. Don't listen to him." Lottie shook her head. "Go get ready for your match you weirdo. " She pushed on Nick's chest, shoving him away.

"Rude." Nick retorted, before walking away.

Matt shook his head and followed suit.

"That was - weird… even for them." Adam watched his friends walk away.

"Sorry, Nick gets a little strange when we hang out. I bring out the worst in him."

"I find that hard to believe - a sweet girl like you." He wrapped his arms around her waist and gave her a quick peck on the lips.

"Mhm, well you better believe it."

A backstage camera caught up with Lottie and Cami in the backstage area. The sisters were whispering to one another, so nobody was able to make out what was being said.

Jen Decker caught up with the twins. "Cami, Lottie, do you mind telling us what you were discussing?"

Cami smiled. "Lottie and I were discussing the men we were accompanying to ringside - Adam Page and Kenny Omega."

"We were talking about how their matches and how excited we are to be at ringside showing our support," Lottie added.

"Tonight is a big night, Jen, so if you'll excuse us, Lottie and I have things to do."

Lottie smiled as she followed her sister down the hallway. Jen had an indifferent look on her face. She couldn't put her finger on it, but something seemed off about Cami and Lottie but more so Cami.

"Well, I better get going. Kenny's match is up soon."

"You're going to be great out there, Sis. I have a feeling you're going to be a trending topic on social media when this is all said and done."

"I am going to be so hated."

"You can take the heat though," Lottie assured.

"Thanks." Cami smiled. She disappeared down the hallway.

Kenny Omega made his way down the ramp in front of the Chicago Crowd. He was dressed in terminator themed attire. The crowd was electric the whole time he made his entrance.

Camille followed behind. She was dressed in a white lace bralette, neon green joggers, and white platform lace up booties. She had shimmering neon green eyeshadow combined with purple and silver. She also wore black lipstick to finish off the look.

Cami stood ringside and Kenny handed her his ring jacket so she could put it somewhere for safekeeping.

The Bastard PAC made his entrance next. He was looking as intense as ever.

Pac went right after Kenny Omega early, beating him down and wearing him out with everything at his disposal. While The Best Bout Machine pushed his way back into the match, he took too much punishment, especially from Pac's devastating German suplexes.

Omega seemed poised for the victory as he prepared for the One Winged Angel, but Cami interfered, nailing Kenny from behind with a low blow and Pac turned it into a Brutalizer. Omega tried to fight but passed out, with the referee stopping the match.

Cami stared down the ramp as Kenny was laid out in the middle of the ring. There was a satisfactory smirk on her face.

She walked backstage, the crowd mercilessly booing her for her actions.

Lottie was standing backstage. She had been watching Kenny's match with Pac from the back. She ran toward Gorilla, followed by a cameraman, to talk to her sister. Cami was just coming through the curtains when Lottie arrived at Gorilla.

"Cami what was that?" Lottie asked motioning toward the arena that Cami had just come from.

Cami walked right past her sister in the direction of the hallway.

"Cami!" Lottie grabbed her sister's arm. "Why would you do that Kenny? He's our friend. He's a member of the Elite. What the hell were you thinking?" Lottie asked desperately.

Cami glared at her sister and yanked her arm away.

"Cami, please talk to me." Lottie pleaded as the Young Bucks arrived on the scene.

Cami shoved her sister, knocking her back onto the concrete floor. She turned on her heel and walked away, leaving a distressed looking Lottie on the floor.

Matt and Nick reached down and helped Lottie to her feet. The three Elite Members stared down the hallway where Cami had gone, looking distraught.

Lottie joined her sister back in the dressing room after the segment. Cami was sitting down, she had her phone out reading all of the reactions to her heel turn.

"Everyone was really shocked." She smiled triumphantly.

"Yea, you did a good job selling your anger. I think I bruised my tailbone when I hit that concrete floor."

"Oh please, don't be dramatic Lottie. You're fine." Cami rolled her eyes.

"Really sweet sister you are." Lottie scoffed. She grabbed the outfit she was going to wear when she escorted Adam to the ring.

Cami laughed at her sister's antics. She continued to skim through the reactions on twitter.

Lottie smiled at the joyful expression on her sister's face. "I'm proud of you Cami. You killed it."

"Thank you sis."

"I better get ready. I have a cowboy to escort." She left for the bathroom to change into her outfit for the night.

Lottie walked down the hall toward Gorilla. She had changed into her outfit for the evening: a pair of medium wash jeans, a bedazzled denim bustier, and black cowbou boots with fringe trim. The makeup artist had done her makeup with blue sparkly eyeshadow and winged eyeliner. She had chosen to wear dark red matte lipstick. The sides of her hair were up in a halo braid while the rest was down in loose waves.

Adam was already waiting for her.

"How do I look?" She asked as she walked up to him.

"Beautiful, as always."

She smiled and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. "You are looking pretty good yourself. I've got to admit the chaps are kind of hot. . . but, why are you wearing them?"

"Didn't Cody tell you about our exciting entrance?"

Lottie frowned. "No, Cody did not. Was he supposed to?"

"Yes. Come on." He grabbed Lottie's hand and led her over to the horse he would be riding for his entrance.

"A horse?" Lottie said, surprised. She reached up to stroke the horse's neck. She smiled as she ran it's finger along its fur.

"Yep. Isn't he beautiful?"

"Extremely." Lottie smiled.

"You guys better get ready you're going on soon."

Adam climbed up on the horse and grabbed the reins. "Coming?" He asked Lottie.

"I'm supposed to ride it too?" She asked, surprised.

"Of course you are." The trainer said. He had brought over a stool for Lottie, knowing she would have a hard time getting up with Adam already on the horse and her shorter stature.

"I've never ridden a horse before." She smiled gratefully when the trainer helped her up on the stool. She got on the horse, wrapping her arms tightly around Adam's waist.

"Well, that won't do. You and I are going horseback riding the first chance we get."

"Whatever you say." She squeezed him a little bit around the midsection and he chuckled.

His music began to play and the trainer moved the stool away so the horse could be led out by the crowd.

The match between Adam Page and Chris Jericho for the AEW championship was coming toward its conclusion. The match had been amazing and the fans were hyped, cheering, booing. Lottie stood outside of the ring, yelling instructions and words of encouragement to Adam as he and Jericho fought.

Jericho went for the cover after hitting a codebreaker. Lottie pounded on the mat and screamed for Adam to kick out. He kicked out at two. Jericho was visibly frustrated and began to hit him with repeated strikes to the head. Jericho pulled Adam up by his hair and hit him with a few knees to the face. He ran the ropes but was meant with a big right hand from Hangman.

Hangman stood in the corner. Lottie rushed around to check on him, climbing up on the apron. She encouraged him to go for the pin. Adam went for a standing moonsault but Jericho got his knees up.

Adam crawled over to the ropes where Lottie once again checked on him. He went for the rite of passage but Jericho was able to counter and go for a pin. Adam rolled through and once again set Jericho up for the rite of passage. This time Adam was successful.

Lottie cheered for him and once again yelled for him to pin Jericho. Adam went for the cover but Jericho was able to kick out at 2. Adam looked at Lottie who looked dumbfounded. He went over the ropes and hit the buckshot lariat. He was going for the pin again but Lottie jumped up on the apron.

She yelled for him to go for the rite of passage again. Adam obliged, picking Jericho up. Jericho was able to counter into a backslide and Adam wiggled out but was hit with the Judas Effect for the pin and the win.

Aubrey brought Jericho the title as he got to his knees. He clutched the title as Aubrey checked on him.

Lottie climbed into the ring to check on Adam. She was kneeling beside him as Aubrey raised Jericho's hand in victory. Jericho smiled as he put the strap on his shoulder. He turned to Lottie who looked up at him, her hand on Adam's shoulder as he lay on the mat.

He smiled and tapped the title and said, "Thank you Colette." Before turning and getting out of the ring where he was attended to by medical staff.

Lottie gave him a look of disgust. She turned her attention back to Adam, wrapping her hands around his arm and helping him up.

Bringing her suitcases with her, Cami unlocked the door to Kenny's motel room. She had changed into a gray belly top and black joggers. Her hair and makeup were still intact.

She heard the shower going, so she laid down on the bed. She shut her eyes for a brief moment.

She practically jumped out of her skin when a towle was thrown at her. She opened her eyes to see a very naked Kenny Omega standing at the edge of the bed. "What the hell?"

"You fell asleep."

"No I didn't. I just shut my eyes."

"Whatever you say." Kenny went over to his suitcase and put on a pair of undergarments and gym shorts.

"I guess kicking you in the balls wore me out."

"You have jokes." Kenny joined Cami on the bed.

"It is what it is."

"I'm glad you were easy on me."

"Well, I couldn't be too hard on you for my own selfish reasons."

Kenny looked at the younger woman occupying the other side of the bed. It started to feel natural having her in his presence. "How do you feel about dating?"

"To be honest: I haven't sought anyone else out since we started our arrangement."

"I wasn't talking about other people."

Cami felt her heart racing so rapidly. There was no way he was asking her what she thought he was asking her. "What are you talking about then?"

"I would like to see you more often. I really like hanging out with you."

"I really like the sound of that," Cami beamed.

"Good."

"What is with the change of heart?"

"As great as our arrangement is...I just think you deserve more than to be someone's booty call - especially mine."

"You think that?"

"You're an incredible person, Cami. You deserve to be treated as such."

Cami blushed. Kenny has a way of making her feel special considering all the confidence issues she has. "That's really sweet of you to say."

Kenny rolled over, placing himself on top of Cami. He placed his lips on her and pretty soon, clothes were discarded, and another night of passion between the two ensued.
