Chapter 5: If I'm cooking you are cleaning

"Just how bad did videos of me saving Suu get? Did it go viral?" Harry asked laying his head on his table with Sumisu and Tio with her… they wanted more snacks and had left Zombina and Manako and Doppel to deal with the rather light load of paperwork.

"As bad as it can sadly, the idea of hybrids hasn't had much research done into it. We know it does happen but you are technically the first rumoured human looking hybrid with powers. Some of the cyber division are making attempts to draw on the idea that you have Yukionna blood in your heritage." Sumisu said having gotten the call from her boss and Harry over the event.

She may have taken some frustration out on the careless driver and his girlfriend, or maybe her tranquiliser gun was on the blink again. It was anyone's guess really with more people looking at Harry at that moment in time.

"At least you saved your new friend." Tio said eating some of the salted nuts Harry had put out for them. Suu herself was indulging in the provided snacks while Miia had dragged the others into an emergency meeting of what to do if Harry needed to go on the run.

Harry patted the slime girls head thinking about it, him ignoring the situation would have been a lot worse that what ended up happening. "Yeah you are right, I'm just a little stressed of what could happen now…we'll deal with it eventually but I need a few days for things to settle down before anything more crazy happens."

Sumisu nearly spilled her coffee and discreetly started to text something hearing Harry. "Well maybe a couple days of voluntary house arrest would be advised?"

"Hmm, not a bad idea, with everything that's been happening I've had little time to spend too much time with everyone. I'll have some deliveries made so I don't have to leave the house, hate missing the market on the good sale days." Tio seeing his frown patted Harry's head and silently enjoyed the soft black hair on his head.

"That mean take out tonight?" Sumisu asked shamelessly, it was a mystery how the women survived as an adult… well in normal adult life.

"Yeah, I'll get a range tonight, chicken, sushi, beef the whole lot. You are paying the delivery cost though Sumisu if you are staying with the rest of your team. If you are eating in you gonna start paying your way." Harry said marvelling at Tio's soft fingers on his head, it wasn't something that happened too often.

"Really you are making me pay, even though I'm helping you out?" Sumisu tilted her shades down at Harry only for him to offer her a flat faced expression.

"Not want to eat good tonight."

"…you are a devil." Harry smirked as he let Tio continue with his hand mirroring on Suu who was enjoying it just as much as her antennae wrapped around his hand.

It made for quite a sight when the rest of Sumisu's team returned with Miia coming back into the room. "Why don't you pet me like that?" Miia asked pouting with Papi and Cerea thinking the same, the latter with a red face.

"What are you doing darling?" Miia asked while Harry was tapping away at his tablet, finalizing some plans for the future. "Just buying a few things to makes things easier, so what's up Miia?"

The lamia wrapped her tail around his legs as she got close to Harry. "I just wanted to know more about you. What were you like when you were younger?" Harrys hand started to rub her tail as he gave it thought.

"Hmmm well to sum up I guess I could say I was naïve like most children." Harry reached to remove his glasses between them. "My childhood was not pleasant; it's not something I talk a lot about. I had a number of friends at first, some stayed with me a number didn't."

"Why? You should be friends for a long time if you knew them from a young age." Miia friends were fellow lamia she grew up were still friends, all were excited for her when she left the nest/village.

"Well… in a way they just stopped being friends in the end and stopped being the people I could trust. Like say if you'd just made yourself some boiled eggs for yourself and then some of your old friends took them, ate them and then didn't feel guilty about it when you confronted them." Miia looked betrayed at the thought as boiled eggs were some of her favourite foods and to think her old friends wouldn't even ask before taking was a horrible thought.

'I'm horribly underplaying what really happened but she doesn't need to know all the bad stories right now.' Harry wondered to himself as he looked down to Miia's eyes, the striking amber really stuck out with her scarlet hair, a much better shades than the Weasley's if he was honest.

As his petting lulled Miia into a sleep he recalled their first meeting and how all the craziness began.

"Seriously Luna how did you talk me into this?" Harry asked his friend over the phone, something he was glad she had gotten used to using more often. "You know I like to keep a low profile most times."

"I do but you've been moving about so much this seems as good a time as any for you to take a step back and relax a little. Plus you might be surprised on how much joy showing these girls the world will end up being." The giggling made Harry unsure of what Luna was implying as she was a girl who had wisdom in buckets, but only sharing just enough.

"I suppose, I'm just a little nervous on what kind of girl I'll be meeting." Luna hummed on the other end just as Harry peaked at the sign of a large truck you normally wouldn't see in his area. "Looks like she is here Luna, speak to you soon ok?" Harry gave Luna a farewell and put his phone away at he got out to the front of his house.

The passenger side door open revealing a rather beautiful woman who was going to cause Harry so much trouble in his food supplies. Miss Sumisu walked toward him gazing to try and get a read of him while he did the same to her. Although, that may have just been the sway of her hips.

"Ahh Potter-san I presume?" Harry nodded the woman took a good look at him before smirking. "Well let's introduce you to your homestay guest." Pressing a button on the back of the van which had the van door rise up and a ramp come down. "We are here Miia, come on out."

From the van the figure of Miia slowly slithered out looking very shy and unsure of herself, a complete contrast to how she was in future days. "Um…hello thank you for having me." Miia bowed her head making Harry smile as he walked forward to hold out his hand.

"Pleasure to meet you Miia, call me Harry. Let's head inside and finish the paperwork, it's a bit chilly outside anyway." Miia smiled as she was shivering a little in the crisp air of the morning. Once inside the house he gave her a blanket to cover her tail, secretly enlarging it while fetching it. "So would either of you like a drink? Tea, coffee?"

"If you're making some I won't turn down some coffee." Sumisu piped up always happy when someone put on a pot and she didn't have to clean the left over filters.

"Just tea please Harry." It took no time to make their drinks but he gave Miia some honey to add some more flavour to her tea.

"So what still needs to be checked and signed?" Harry asked with his own cup of tea.

"Well here's some info on the rules set about for your homestay guest, plus a handy guide for most extra species girls. As you know you will be responsible for Miia here and as a cultural exchange guest you should know that she has to remain pure so no funny business." Miia blushed a little nearly spilling her tea at how blunt Sumisu was being.

"That won't be a problem, I did my own research and having someone in the house will make a change to my usual life." Harry said turning to Miia. "I'm sure we'll get along fine, right Miia?"

"Y-Yes Harry, I'd like that a lot." Miia said the blush remaining on her cheeks from how kind Harry was being, plus her tail was very comfy right now in her blanket and her nose picked up Harry's scent on it. For her first contact with a human male she was liking what she was seeing.

Her like would be switch to love about dinner time. But from that day on Miia became determined to become Harry's lover. Of course we know that was going to be a lot more trouble, more so when the other girls started to appear.

"If you were sleepy Miia, let me know before I have to take you to your room." Harry said carrying said lamia, tail and all back to her room. As you'd imagine Miia was clingy in her sleep so her tail was wrapped around his waist. "Still I'm glad I can get you to let go while you sleep." Using a little parseltongue Miia let go and Harry made his way back to the main room where Sumisu was starting at the fridge. "Hungry again?"

"Hmm oh Harry, finish your quickie with Miia?" Harry's eyebrow twitched hearing this but said nothing as he got out some ingredients to make some flapjacks, Cerea like them a lot due to oats and with chocolate Miia and Papi enjoyed them too, and Suu ate anything so everybody won.

"One of these days you are going to get in trouble from asking questions like that you know?" Harry said as he retrieved his mixing bowl.

"It's sweet that you think that. Beside no one else is as fun to tease as you are. Can I get a refill too, the pot has gone cold?" she shook her personal mug at him as he rolled his eyes cleaning out the filter with his magic before refilling and switching on. "Wish I could do that."

"No you don't, trust me it was a lot of trouble learning to just levitate things with thought alone. Took me nearly a year to get it down, plus you'd get in trouble with a day of you having it, probably from sneaking food." Harry said as he poured in his oats.

"Do you think that badly of me?" Sumisu asked taking off her shades.

"You are not a bad person, just lazy and prone to being a little tricky. Still can't deny you did get your job for a reason. And I suppose I could thank you for making life a little more fun these past few months." Harry said just as Suu slid into the room. And judging from the view of the hallway she had been cleaning the floors and walls like a new Roomba. She made her way to the tap before filling herself with water to change shape and sitting on the seat next to Sumisu.

"Well you have turned into an interesting case. Extra species was one thing but all the magic was another. That and you are the best cook of all the homestay volunteers." Her hand was batted away from the bowl attempted to take a quick taste.

"Says the woman part of a task force, I'm honestly curious how a spar between us would go, I may not be an expert fighter but I can hold my own." Sumisu just smirked at him as she took a sip of her fresh coffee.

"I'll consider after I've been fed now chop, chop." Harry got back to baking, letting Suu clean out the bowl which he was sure she enjoyed as she licked her lips.

As the flapjacks baked to perfection the rest of the house members were slowly drawn into the kitchen, Cerea was the first to arrive her ears flapping slightly in excitement. "You girls are so lucky some times to have such a house husband all to yourself. I and the rest of M.O.N. barely have much time to cook."

"Is that why you are always mooching of Harry so much?" Papi question in a very innocent tone which had Sumisu gave her a mild stare to spook her.

"…Yes."

"Finally admitting it. seriously at this rate I may as well but the house next door and convert it into an extension of the house." Harry said pulling the tray out of the oven, increasing the flapping of Cerea's ears as well as the swishing of her tail under her skirt.

"You could do that?" Sumisu sounded a little hopefully at the suggestion. "If we are honest we are constantly moving about so we stuck in an office most of the time before we head home to our apartments. Have a house might make things easier in the long run." Sumisu took out her phone to put the suggestion to her team.

"Hmm… would you be paying rent if I did that?" Harry while not needing the income from a rental property desperately it would help him not needing to rely on some of his other ventures which left a paper trail back to England. "I better check the asking price." Pulling out his own phone he started to text the number of the local real estate agent while he had a spatula slice the flapjacks for the houseguests.

"Did we seriously just have the conversation… I don't need any more rivals living nearby plus she'll be interrupting me all the time when I want private moments with darling." Miia huffed as she took her flapjack and had her tail grab en egg to crack over the top of it… Miia really liked her eggs.

"It's so oat filled… soo goood~" Cerea ignored Miia with Papi as the sweet treat slipped down their mouths.

"Yes I can pay that amount; I'll have the money within three days. Thank you for your time." Harry said sliding his phone to off just as Sumisu did the same. "I'm good to go with the plan if you are?"

"Yeah they are keen to the idea, plus my boss texted me it will be fine since you are a person of interest too." Sumisu replied to the question knowing the pair of them would come to their terms of the contract once he got the deeds to the home as well as planning permission.

With the plans under the way to get the house next door and get planning permission for the extension, Harry had gotten his training gear on in the back yard with Cerea wearing her own.

Cerea's gear equated to minor armour on her arms and a small (not really) breast plate and had her blunted two handed sword. Harry was using his one handed sword with shield and had a modified kendo armour but style more like European armour much like Cerea's was.

"Want to make the first move today Cerea?" Harry smirked while the two cicled each other seeing the smile on Cerea's face at getting to show off her skills and training. Watching them was Papi and Suu looking very excited while Miia was busy shopping online.

"Seeing how you have bested me in the previous spars it seems only fair. Prepare yourself!" Using her powerful legs Cerea charged fourth at Harry who held up his shield while stepping to the side of the charge. Spinning around he tried to counter attack but found Cereas long sword deflecting him.

"Go Harry! Go Cerea!" Papi cried out waving a little flag with Cerea's face on it while Su did the same with a Harry flag. Not that the two paid too much attention this time as the thrill of clashing blades filled the air. Cerea didn't lie when she said she had trained for many years as her skills with a blade, even a blunted one shined through.

Harry was more nimble being far smaller than Cerea so was able to dodge easier that his opponent but the blows to his shield was making his arm ache as Cerea didn't hold back, not that he did but her species did have a lot of power in them. Still Cerea was a girl who used power more than defense hence the lack of seild right now so Harry when he found a chance closed in to prevent Cerea getting an easier strike.

She was forced to back off as Harry had slipped into her guard but did lash out with her front legs to push Harry away by rearing up. He leaped back a few and Cerea capitalised on this by thrusting forward and in his attempt to defend himself he lost his shield.

By now Tio had come outside and became amazed at the spar, so quickly got in between Suu and Papi, sneaking some of their snacks too. "How long as sweety been sparring with Centorea?"

"Huh…Um… I don't know, Papi thinks a few minutes now. But Cerea might win today." Suu nodded at this at Cerea gained an upper hand and managed to back Harry into the corner of the garden holding the point of her blade. The pair of them were sweating heavily now, Harry's short clinging tight showing off his toned chest.

"Looks like you win this round today cerea, good match, I yield." Harry said smirking as he lowered his sword as Cerea did the same with a gleaming smile though as their sheathed their blades.

"Wow that was cool!" Tio and Papi shouted clapping together.

"Oh, miss Tio nice to see you. I take it Sumisu told you about the plans for you to get a new place to live. Did you come to talk about room designs?" Harry asked not noticing Su slowly getting closer.

"Yeah, Sumisu told me, is it ok for my bed to have a really frilly covers and rapes around the bed?" Tio asked as Harry nodded.

"I don't see why not, why don't you get your pad and show me what you'd li-ACk!" Harry cried out as Su tackled him. "Ahh Su what are you doing?" Suu just smirked as she started to lick his shirt no doubt wanting the sweat off his skin.

"Defeated by a slime… aren't they the weak ones in rpgs?" Tio asked with a tilted head looking at the scene.

"I thought the same but this slime is like a metal slime puddle, rare and difficult to handle. Wait, Harry wait a moment, I'll fetch something to catch Su with." Cerea ran inside to fetch something like a plastic bag.

"Huh what's going on… hey why are you molesting my darling, that's my thing!" Miia cried out seeing the scene and her cheeks going very red at the image of Harry on his back with Suu licking his chest. "Can I join in Suu?" the slime looked up in confusion at the question.

Cerea came back and was quick to scoop up Suu in a bag and tie off the end till she calmed down. "Harry are you alright?"

"…Yeah… I'm ok. Just more sticky that I expected to get aftr some exercise." Harry said cleaning his glasses and ajudting them. "Looks like I'm in need of a shower, even though I was planning on one anyway. Do you mind if I go first Cerea?" Harry asked a blushing Cerea who was sneaking peeks at her 'master's chest.

"Yes that will be fine, just do not take too long as I require my own bath…" Cerea's baser instincts suggested she ask if they could bathe together but the chivalrous side of her character stopped that thought right away.

"Thanks Cerea, and Miia no peaking, help Tio with her shopping please." Harry said as Miia pouted but gave a salute to help the oni. Well she could always pick something out for herself too while she was there, no harm done.

Leaving the room Harry made his way to his bathroom without paying attention to much and walked into the room which was already filled with steam. "Miia must have made it hoping to scrub her back, that's nice of her." Harry putting his towel on the side of the large tub sunk into the water. "Ahhh, his the spot."

"…You know most people knock to see if someone is already using a bathroom right?" Harry's neck turned like an unoiled bolt to see Sumisu sitting right next to him in the rub in her birthday suit, though with bubbles concealing her naughty bits. "Thanks for buying bath bombs though, really make a great bubble bath."

"Aren't you meant to be at work… never mind, sorry I just got slimed by Suu, I'll get out and leave you to your bath." Trying to get up Sumisu tripped his legs so he fell back into the tub.

"Nah your fine." She replied as she took her small can of coffee from the floating tray she'd brought. Harry's head rose from the bubbles spitting out water. "You are in here now, just soak and enjoy what you see."

"You are terrible; I could have hit my head you know?" Sumisui just continued to drink her coffee. "I'm still tempted to leave in case Miia or the others decide to peek." Leaning back against the side he waved his hand and duplicated the can of coffee and had it float over to him.

"So it seems your team mates are happy with the potential move." Harry pointed out as he summoned the shampoo, slime was murder on hair.

"Yeah, it was easy to convince them considering they'd get getting plenty of home cooked meals morning, noon and night. Management did note they may drop by to inspect you and my team, so keep it your pants." Harry ignored the suggestion as he continued his wash.

"Once again I am a gentleman, I won't force myself on anyone. Keep doing it and I will get you back for it, if food threats doesn't work I'll take away all the bath bombs when you come in. Really I'm surprised your still going at it." Harry shook his head and pushed his locks from his eyes.

"Hmmm… I guess because I still expect you to react like you first did, all flustered and stumbling over your words. It made you look quite adorable, and fun to tease. Now I see your just a smart ass." Harry rolled his eyes washing away the shampoo off his hair.

"You blatantly said don't fuck Miia or I'd be arrested. As someone introducing someone to the cultural exchange program no one would react any differently. Seriously there are places for people with your tastes." Harry said jokingly but Sumisu was never one to let him have the last laugh.

"Trust me they aren't tough enough to take what I give. Maybe I can show you what I mean while we are alone?" She moved in close to Harry who knew there was no escape so kept his eyes shut. "Sigh you take away some of the fun when you close your eyes like that. Why can't you be like other boys your age, lusting after a girl like me?"

"Blame my strange upbringing, and I can keep a clear mind. How else do you think I resist Miia half the time?"

"Because you might be gay?" In response Harry stood up and Sumisu got her answer to prove that was not the case.

"Hardly, like I told Miia I don't want to rush anything, plus with how crazy the house became I don't want to give on girl all the attention. We are an odd little family and I don't want to mess it up. That's all." Finishing Harry finished his coffee and got out the bath before reaching for a towel. "I hope you'll see why I act the way I do around everyone and stop teasing me as a result."

"I suppose you have made your point, just means I'll wait till you have something I can definitely tease you on before doing it again. Like you flashing me just now but I think I'll keep that to myself for now. You never know when the knowledge can come in handy. Although I have to ask, what was it about me that had you rise to attention?"

"…you know what… figure out on your own." Harry smirked at his denying Sumisu of what she wanted, she may figure out later but that was time he could enjoy as he made his way to get changed.

Slightly shorter chapter but just a bit of a filler one anyway to add a bit of development to Harry's current personality. I may have missed some Papi and Suu moments this chapter but I have time to work on more.

Not sure what is going to be updated next, going to try for a high school and aliens chapter but only time will tell. I do want to finish it this year but my own drive on what can vs what should happen is an internal writers battle I face very often now.

Also should be receiving Battride War genesis soon so going to be having some fun 'Henshin-ing' it up.
