The next day Keita woke up once more, however, he found it difficult to lift the covers off of him. It seemed to spread on forever. It took a while, but before long he found the exit and took a deep breath as he was now able to breathe.

"Big brother! C'mon sleepy head, you have school, remember"

"Yeah, yeah...I'm coming..." He rubbed his eyes before feeling odd, he saw his hand and screamed once more "Mom!? You said it was only the ears!"

"What!? I thought the ears were the only thing to show, transformations aren't usually that slow" His mother exclaimed now seeing he was completely an Eevee.

"Well, what do you usually do when you transform!?"

"I don't know, it's temporary, but once you undergo a full transformation for a few days, you can interchange between them. Let me show you" She placed her fist to where her heart was before a puff of smoke appeared, next thing he knew, his mother was a Raichu, she then changed back quickly to show it was effortless

"Oh, why didn't you tell us?"

"If I told you when you were younger you'd be begging me nonstop to become a Raichu"

"I guess that's fair...Do I have to go to school today?"

"I'm afraid so, you're not sick, so you can still go to school"

"Aw...Fine..." Though he didn't dislike his school, per se, but rather he felt embarrassed to be seen that way by his peers, and as such he wished to stay home.

It was a small class, a single teacher with a total of six classmates. Hau, Lillie, Sun, Moon, Mistumi, and of course, Keita.

Keita hated every moment of his way to school, Katie helped him carry his bag on the bus, he had to drag his bag across the floor and stairwell just to get into the class, to which he held the strap in his mouth and continued to drag it up until reaching a closed door that he began to tap on.

"Oh! That must be Keita, I'll get the door!" A male said, sliding open the door to see an Eevee with Keita's bag.

"Huh...An Eevee? What're you doing with Keita's satchel...I've never seen it without him..."

"U-uhm...Professor Kukui...I'm down here..."

K-Keita? W-what on earth happened to you?!" Kukui asked as Keita sheepishly let go of his bag.

"I'm...Not entirely sure...But I'm an Eevee..."

"Keita, Y-you...Y-you're..." Moon began to struggle to speak

"I'm what?"

"You're so cute!" She quickly picked him up, squeezing his body as the other students quickly approached, petting his fur which he constantly struggled to leave

"Let me go! Let me go!"

"C'mon everyone, let's focus. Keita, will you be able to follow in class?"

"Yes. I believe so"

"Alright. Let's continue then" He refocused on the board as Keita jumped into his chair, and then from there to his desk.

"Hey wait a minute!" Moon exclaimed, "I've heard of something like this before!"

"Really? Well, I'll let you decide. Should we continue today's lesson, or move on to Keita's situation" Kukui asked

"I say yes!" Moon called out

"No doubt, stuff like this never happens!" Mistumi responded

"I think it might be fun..." Lillie said

"Let's do it!" Hau and Sun cheered

"Okay then, today's lesson will be studying Keita. Rotom, can you do a scan of Keita?"

"Zrrtainly!" The small electric voice activated as the Rotom dex began hovering around the room "Where is he, Zrtt?"

"Down here!" Keita squeaked

"Zrrt...Y-you're an Eevee!? What did you do!? How did you do that!?"

"I didn't do anything!"

"You liar! Why do you always mess with stuff you don't know about!?" Rotom asked, getting into Keita's face

"I'm not lying!"

"As if!"By now the two were in each other's faces practically touching. Often the two had argued over small reckless mistakes Keita made with the two having different learning styles, Keita usually learned from experience and had often had his medicine give a bad taste or smell. However, Rotom simply downloaded information.

Keita sighed and gave in "Hey Rotom, Is there a way for me to turn back to normal?"

"Well, If you did whatever you did again, There might be a way to reactivate it to turn you back to normal." He said scanning him, he was the same DNA-wise, though he always had odd DNA, they never questioned it.

"So... Keita, was there anything odd you did that you don't normally do?"

"Well, after school I walked through the woods to get home...Oh! And I remember there was an odd staff, there was some writing but it was difficult to read...I think it said "Vee"

"As in...Eevee?" Hau asked, to which Keita processed the information and face-palmed himself. There was no way it should have taken him that long to figure it out.

"Well, sounds like it. Do you think it's still there"

"Well I hope so, but we might be able to find it in the woods, we should head there now.

They all began collecting their belongings as well as water bottles that Kukui kept in a minifridge by his desk for when it was hot.

"Alright, is everyone ready?"Professor Kukui asked as Keita tried to pull his satchel using his mouth" Uh...Do you need help with that?" He asked picking up the bag

"T-thanks Professor" Keita knew it would be a little far but he knew the way

"So which way is it?" Kukui asked

"Follow me, This is the way I take every day, I live in Iki town so it's a bit far, "He said leading the way.

After an hour of walking, they made it to where he had found it seeing someone with the stick as they observed its symbols.

"Is this the one, Guzma will be happy to know it's been found" It was muffled, but the outfit alerted them to know that it was a member of Team Skull.

"Team Skull, Guys step back and stay quiet, You too Keita" The teacher had spoken seeing he was already close to the girl that had pink hair and a short tank top.

"Put down the stick! If you aren't careful you'll turn into a Pokémon" He warned but then got scared and took a step back and slipped on a few leaves.

"Let me guess you turned into one," She asked with a glare to make him speak the truth.

"Y-yes that's correct" He gulped starting to sweat as the girl picked him up by his ears.

"Well I needed proof so I guess you'll do," She said as Keita began swiping with his small stubby little limbs.

"Kukui throw the sleep powder from my bag!"He said then holding his breath and letting Kukui do as instructed. The girl let go of Keita falling back asleep as Keita grabbed the stick using his mouth.

"Sorry about that!" He then called out afterward as the group began running toward the school

"Why on earth would you say sorry after she pulled both of your ears and nearly kidnapped you" Moon had said shocked by his words.

"Don't you mean, Pokénapped" Sun chimed in as Moon punched him in the arm "Still worth it"

"S-sorry, I just felt bad for using sleep powder on her"

"Don't worry it was in the name of Self defense" Hau tried defending his case

"T-thanks but I should probably tell my mom what happened," He said trying to pull a phone out of his bag using his stubby paws, however, it kept slipping out of his grasp"C-can someone calls my mom for me?"He nervously asked not usually needing help and working on his own

"Sure Keita" Kukui lifted the flip phone from his bag then dialed his mom's numbers and placed the phone next to his ears

"Hey, Mum, it turns out that there was a staff with Unown lettering on it. I think that's what transformed me"

"Ah, that explains it"

"You knew about it?"

"Of course, sure I never thought you came into contact with it, but for a while, you should remain the way you are so your body can adjust. For now, try to learn some moves so you can defend yourself" His mother then said "And don't speak in public" Keita nodded

"Right."

"Hey, back at school if you come outside, there should be a training bag in the stadium," Kukui said heading back to school as Keita and the others followed behind. Once they had returned to school and inside the stadium. Keita saw a whole training area set up, He had never been out back there as he usually was developing medicine during recess hours.

"Alright first try tackle, Rotom, keep track of his data, got it?" Kukui said pointing towards the dummy.

"Wait are you just my trainer now or something?" He looked back at his teacher.

"It's just so you can blend in as a normal Eevee. Once you're back to normal we never have to speak of this again."

"A-alright then...Here goes nothing" He bolted towards the training dummy using the weight of his body to attempt to deal damage but bounced off without it budging one bit "Ow...My head..." He groaned looking up at his dex

"Attack data confirmed, Level: 0.5, "It said showing a thumbs down on its screen

" Oh jeez, we're going to have to do a lot of training..."He sighed as the School bell rang meaning School had ended.

"Well we can start again tomorrow," He then began to receive a call from Keita's mother "Would it be alright if some of your students could watch over Keita, believe it or not, I have a feeling that his sister wouldn't leave him alone"

"It all depends on what Keita himself says about it"

"I-I guess it'll be alright," He said a little nervous, Technically that would be his first time at someone else's house

"Alright then just stay safe" She hung up, setting the phone down with a light breath out "I hope he'll be alright..."

"Who wants to have Keita go with them first?"

Moon raised her hand "I'll do it! I want to be the one to solve the mystery"

"Okay then, Are you okay with it Keita?"

"I-I guess so."

"Alright, Keita you go with Moon and We'll start back again tomorrow"

Everyone began packing their bags as Moon picked up Keita in her arms then waved to her friends goodbye as she left to head to a small cottage by Route one.
