Situation: Accompanied by Giles, Harry discusses the baby's fate with Dawn. Dawn and Phoenix are participating in a prayer ritual at the time. They pray for Buffy's salvation.
Dawn (joyfully, she runs into Harry's arms): Hello, Love
Harry: Giles is with me
Dawn: Giles, what is your purpose with me today?
Giles: I am here to support Harry
Dawn (curious): What kind of news do you have for me?
Harry: It concerns the baby
Dawn: How so?
Phoenix (excited): Is it a boy or a girl?
Harry: The oracles said the baby is a girl. Her name will be Catelyn June Diana Potter.
Dawn (disappointed): How could you visit the oracle without me?
Harry: You were on bed rest
Dawn: You could at least forewarn me first
Harry: Some things are not meant for a woman's ears
Dawn (suspicious): Some things like what?
Harry (choked up): I can't bear tell you so Giles will have to tell you.
Dawn (yelling, she demands): Tell me
Giles: According to the oracle, Catelyn will be born with a lifethreatening disease.
Dawn (devastated): NO!
Harry (touching Dawn's cheek): Abortion can be an option
Dawn (deeply heartbroken, she sobs): I was looking forward to having our baby until now
Phoenix (clinging onto Dawn): Mommy, please don't cry
Harry: I know someone who handles sensitive matters like ours. What is your final decision?
Dawn (places a protective hand over her stomach): I am keeping Catelyn
Giles (to Harry and Dawn): May the greats have mercy on your souls
