Katherine watched in horror as her older sister Ingrid Dracula took the family throne in cold blood she was an unrecognisable monster who at the moment had no cares in the world she had also imprisoned her farther in a sunlight cage and her brother was unresponsive on the

"Ingrid please" Katherine begged.

"Silence!" Ingrid boomed.

"Is he Is he dead?" The count asked his eyes full of terror he could not believe the sight that was going on before him.

"I don't know and I don't care" Ingrid smirked.

"He's our brother!" Katherine shouted.

" We have to help him" she explained running towards Vlad before a sharp pain hit her on the shoulder causing her to drop in pain."

"I'll decide what I MUST do!" Ingrid shouted raising her arm down.

Katherine looked down towards her shoulder it was red and sacred she guessed Ingrid had hit her with a fireball which filled Katherine with hatred towards her sister to whom she had looked up too ever since she was old enough to talk.

"Because I'm in charge now" Ingrid continued to explained as she took her seat on the throne.

"Traitor! You will pay for this betrayal, Ingrid!" The count roared at the monster Ingrid had become.

"Silence! From now on, you will call me Countess Dracula" she replied flashing her vampire eyes and teeth. "Watch me as I avenge Will's death and make the streets of Stokely run red with blood!" Ingrid cracked demoniacally.

Katherine who now went mostly by the name of Kat woke up in a sweat in her red coffin it had been 4 years since fleeing Stokely and the scar which resided in her shoulder still caused her pain which she had learned to hide. She could not believe that her farther had brought an old looking house where they had decided to make their new home before making it a school which Kat hated as she had to attend it.

Slowly, Kat climbed out off her coffin before selecting her school uniform and her black hoodie she brushed her straight long black hair before applying black mascara and deep red lipstick. She headed of towards the dining table to grab a quick bite to eat before school she was greeted by her brother Vlad.

"Good morning Vlad" she smiled.

"Good morning" Vlad replied his eyes glazed over with worry alerting his sister something was wrong.

"What wrong Vlad?" Kat quizzed.

"I keep having visions about Ingrid" he explained. "She alive somewhere being chased by slayers".

"Are you sure Vlad" Kat asked shocked.

"Yes and they keep getting stronger" he replied. "I need to find her".

"What are you serious!" Kat boomed. "After what she did".

"She still our sister" Vlad pointed out. "Its our duty to help her".

"Did she help us all them years ago no she didn't" Kat replied. " Plus I have to get ready for my transformation tomorrow".

"But what about Ingrid" Vlad asked.

"I don't care do what ever you want I won't stop you" Kat replied before grabbing her bag and making her way down to the school.

In school Kat did not mind playing queen bee everyone wanted to be her friend and do stuff for her however she did not want to make any friends she saw what grave affects had on Vlad friendship in Stokely. Pulling out her headphones and Mp3 player she continued down the corridor to the girls bathroom to retouch up her makeup it would also be the last time she would have a reflection.

Kat pulled out her phone she was the only Dracula who owned a mobile phone however she had to hide it from her dad who hated the modern technology it was only thanks to her older vampire friends that she even had a phone her phone indicated that she had 1 new message.

Kat could not believe her best friend Kyle had contacted her it had been a few months but she guess he had been running away from slayers and had only just settled down again.

The day rolled by quickly so far life at school was boring but bearable if it was not for her annoying brother making them sign up she wouldn't have gone Vlad highly valued school and thought his sister should too. After a slow day at school Kat was ready for some excitement as the night approached she pulled out of her wardrobe her favourite red velvet dress which came to her knee in length before putting her hair into a side ponytail and retouching her makeup.

Kat slowly, crept along the corridors of her home she could not risk getting caught by her dad or her brother they hated her going out with her crazy vampire friends they feared that they would impact negative influence on her.

Successfully Kat had managed to reach the main gate which was the usual place she would meet Kyle since she could not speed run yet it was the quickest way into any town due to Kyle owning a motorbike. A few minutes later a pair of bright motorbike light zoomed up the street which Kat guessed was Kyle a small smirk escaped her face.

The motorbike slowed down and Kyle took of his helmet. "Hey princess" he joked.

"Hey stop that!" Kat shouted. "You know I hate it".

"I was joking" he smirked. "You ready?" He asked handing Kat an extra bike helmet.

"Always" Kat replied climbing on the bike.

The two raced off to the nearby town where Kat two other friends where waiting for them one was a fully fledged vampire the other was a bitten half-fang they too where older than Kat.

"Hey Jessica, Ally" Kat smiled as she jumped of the bike to give them a hug.

"Finally we thought you two wouldn't make it!" Jessica snapped pulling away from Kat.

"Sorry you know what my family is like and I haven't got my full vampire powers yet" kat protested. "So what's the mission".

"We have located maybe six to seven slayers meeting in a house nearby here" Jessica explained.
"Yes and we need you to act as bait" Ally added.

"Sure" Kara smirked.

The four vampires continued to walk lurking in the shadows until they made their way to an abandoned looking building.

"Is this where they are meeting?" kat asked.

"Yes you know what you need to do" Jessica replied.

"Just be careful" Kyle smiled.

"Never" Kat smirked before running towards the abandoned building.
