Midnight. A time where people were sound asleep and undisturbed. A time where people dreamed vivid dreams, most of them happy and filled with lots of love and excitement. Yet, there are some who experience dreams that are filled with fear and darkness. Nightmares, such a frightening experience. Especially for our young, woman in this tale.

Her name was Lee Jang-Mi. She also goes by her English name Rose. She was a beautiful African American and Korean woman. She had curly, dark brown hair and hazel colored eyes. Her skin was kissed by the sun every summer, creating this golden honey glow to her skin. Beautiful indeed. She had moved around quite bit in her life. Living in South Korea for 10 years then moving to America for another 10 years. That was the life of an Army brat. The Army wasn't for Rose. She wanted to become a massage therapist and learn more about skincare. Luckily, Her college had a exchange program for the course she was taking. Japan it was for the year. Japanese skin care was always raved about so she was excited to be heading that way. Her passion and love brought her to Karakura town.

Karakura Town was small and quaint. Everyone seemed friendly and kind, not to many problems here. Which was good for Rose. She didn't want to be overwhelmed with a busy and bustling city or town. Something simple was comforting and almost felt like home. Her apartment was similar to her dorm in America. A plain studio with a small kitchen, bathroom, and bed. With some decorating, this place would feel like home.

Exhausted from unpacking and doing some small decorating, Rose flopped down on her bed and closed her eyes. It wasn't long before she fell asleep. At first, it was peaceful. She was sound asleep, curled up again her plush, purple body pillow. Then suddenly, small whimpers and grosm filled the once silent room. Rose began tossing and turning, sweat beginning to brew along her forehead. Soft no's left her lips before she jolted awake from the nightmare, gasping for air. She ran her fingers through her hair as she fell back onto her pillows. ' It was just a dream,' Rose though to herself.

Rose laid there, looking up at the darkness of the ceiling thinking deeply.

'I was going to live a new life here in this small town known as Karakura.'

A flash of light brightened my dark room following a loud roar of thunder creating the powerful sound throughout the quiet room. For a moment, Rose had closed her eyes. Listening to the rain hit the window and the thunder rumbling quietly.

Somethimes, Rose feared sleep. The repeating dreams that she would encounter haunted her. What do they mean? Why is this happening to me?

There were always questions about her dream. A beautiful figure with the elements of earth, air, water, and fire fluttering and floating around it is breathtaking and beautiful. Yet, darkness slowly engulfs the figure. It would try to call out for help and utter words that she couldn't hear. Reaching for her, but the darkness behind the figure would always cause so much fear in Rose. She wanted to help but that fear really took over and scared her.

1:30. Her alarm clock read as she slowly felt her eyes grow heavy once more. Luckily, she was always able to brush off the dream and go back to sleep.

'It's always just a dream,'' she would think to herself. That was her mindset and she was set on it. In Rose's case, her dream was about to become a reality.
