Kat stomped angrily to her room she could believe that her brother could class Ingrid as family it wasn't as if she knew the meaning of the word she had always been there for her brother now he was acting like he couldn't care less about her feelings towards the situation.

Carefully, Kat climbed into her coffin with her notebook and pen cutting off from the outside world and problems she began to write.
Half an hour later Kat had finished writing her dairy log for the evening and found it really boring in the house it was not like she had much to do after all most of her friends hated the sunlight and it was only in the evening she could go out and hang. Slowly, Kat made her way to the door she was planning to head up on the roof to gaze at the stars until she decided to retire to her coffin. After all it would be the last time she would see the sunset gazing out into the distance she thought of how the day would go tomorrow and how she would react.

A good few hours later as the sun was setting Kat stood and felt the warm rays of sunlight hit her skin she did not care to sleep the adrenaline she was feeling she did not think that it would even be possible after a couple of minutes slowly, Kat headed back inside the school building and made her way back towards her room there she selected her school clothes and put the on she let her long black hair dangle past her shoulders.

Quickly, Kat exited and made her way outside where she bumped into Vlad who looked very worried.

"Hey watch where you are going!" Kat shouted.

"Sorry I got to find Renfield" Vlad explained. "Ingrid's getting worse".

"Good maybe it will teach her a lesson!" Kat snapped.

"It's not a joke she is getting closer to death!" Vlad shouted back.

"I've got bigger things to worry about today" Kat explained rushing of down the corridor away from Vlad.

Kat headed towards the stairs which led to the ground floor many school children where busy rushing to and from classroom before the school bell rung making her way down the corridor the intense smell of blood hit Kat nose unlocking a insatiable feeling within her pushing this feeling down she raced towards the girls bathroom upon getting there she encounter a familiar scent sneaking up behind her was her friend Kyle.

"Hi are you alright?" Kyle asked.

"No not really" Kat replied. "How did you get here?" she quizzed.

"I took my farther's car I had to see you I bear news" Kyle explained.

"Could it have waited?" Kat asked.

"No I really needed to talk" Kyle protested.

Suddenly, the school bell ringed a rush of students raced towards there classes the smell of blood was at its highest sending Kat to go dizzy pulling Kyle into the girls toilets she washed her face in cool water this calmed Kat pulse down. "So what did you want to talk about?" She continued facing Kyle.

"Seriously we can not talk in the girls toilets" Kyle spluttered his cheeks going slightly red.

"Come on we won't be in here long" Kat giggled. "Besides most breathers will be in lessons now".

"Fine I can't stay long anyway my dad will be wondering where I have gotten to" Kyle replied.

"So what did you want to tell me?" Kat continued to ask.

"The slayer's guild have been secretly plotting to kill your Brother" He explained.

"They would not dare they know he's the chosen one" Kat informed.

"That's why they want to they fear his power" Kyle answered.

"Thanks for telling me" Kat smiled hugging Kyle. "You better get going" she continued.

"Yes I'll see you later" Kyle smiled back before exiting the toilets and disappearing.

Kat exited a few seconds later taking a deep breath she quickly walked back towards her living quarters she decided that she would skip school for the rest of the day it was the last thing on her mind. Slowly Kat crept along to her bedroom she quickly changed from her school uniform into tight leather trousers and a deep crimson red t-shirt the time was quickly reaching to midday it would soon be time for Kat to face the blood mirror.

Quickly, Kat crept back towards the stairs to the basement she was quite cautious she did not want anyone to see her especially the new half-fang who Kat did not trust yet. "Hey what are you doing?" an unfamiliar voice asked.

Kat turned to see the new bitten half-fang staring at her she seemed to be lost. "Yes can I help you?" Kat asked.

"Your Vlad other sister aren't you" the girl asked.

"Yes my name is Katherine but everyone calls me Kat" Kat explained.

"Nice to meet you my name is Erin" The girl mumbled.

"Well Erin are you lost?" Kat quizzed.

"Yes I am looking for Vlad" Erin explained.

"He will be in the main room at the end of the corridor next to the kitchen" Kat replied.

Quickly, Erin walked away around the corner leaving Kat alone once again finding the basement stairs kat slowly, walked towards the room where the blood mirror was stood waiting guarded by two stone guardians. Upon seeing Kat the guardians lifted there melee's allowing access to the large magnificent mirror standing opposite the mirror Kat stood staring at it she had no idea what would happen after all each vampire transformation was different.

Slowly, Kat approached the mirror staring deep into the mirror Kat waited for the mirror to start working a few minutes later kat continued to look at the mirror worrying about the moments that would happen afterwards. Suddenly the mirror glowed an image of Kat appeared in the mirror her face grinned flashing her fangs her black hair had red tips and her chest was more fuller.

"So your my vampire self?" Kat wondered staring at the mirror.

"Hello little Kat" Kat's image grinned. "Are you ready to become great". The image continued.

"Wicked" Kat smiled back.

"We will bring tricks and wicked games to the world" The image cackled.

Kat grinned back at the image it was very rare that reflection and vampire to get along in a strange sort of way. Kat's image started to rip through the mirror angry snarling with it's teeth a sudden fear griped Kat taking her last deep breath she braced for impact. Kat's slowly, opened one of her eyes to see her body fusing with her inner vampire in an instant she felt her body burning.
