Kat's body burned with fury not just her body but every vain and muscle this lasted for only a brief moment which found Kat face up on the floor her eyes shot open to reveal blood red eyes kat licked her lips which revealed two pointed teeth. Quickly, kat sat up to the almost vacant room using her new vampire speed Kat quickly got up of the floor and made her way back upstairs to which she entered the main room where both the count and Vlad where still trying to find a cure for Ingrid.

Kat slowly, opened the two oak doors making a delicate entrance as she did not want to alarm anyone Vlad was the first to spot his sister her vampire appearance seemed to alarm him.

"You seem different" Vlad pointed out.

"Thank you" Kat smirked.

A sudden cough from Ingrid brought the attention back to the situation at hand it was not long before Renfield had returned carrying more potion bottles ready to test on Ingrid. "Time for your Medicine " Renfield joyfully exclaimed.

As Renfield walked closer to Ingrid carrying the medicine in test tubes kat could not resist looking closely at her sister whom on closer look had a long facial hair which had proudly grown on her face Kat could not help but giggle looking over her shoulder she also saw her farther who was lurking in the shadows also laughing at Ingrid.

"I promise this will sort out your facial hair problem" Renfield promised handing over the medicine.

Quickly Ingrid drank the medicine making her cough and splutter the medicine at once took hold making her facial hair disappear and in it place grew a long black moustache. "You look divine, mistress Ingrid" Renfield spluttered with laughter.

"That's it! I've had enough of you torturing my sister!" Vlad snapped.

"Your no fun" The count smirked.

"It is quite funny" Kat agreed continuing to laugh.

"I have to go back to school" Vlad announced. " You stay here, get some rest." Vlad instructed Ingrid. "I'll be back to check on her in an hour or so." he explained turning around to face The count and Kat. "One of You look after Ingrid."

"Not me I have things to do" Kat replied.

"The next potion you make had better work! Or else!" Vlad snapped at Renfield.

Quickly, Kat raced away from the main room back to her bedroom she had no desire to watch over Ingrid as she had her own problems to deal with her inner demons and her lust to taste the sweet drops of breather blood. Slowly, sneaking towards her dad's blood cellar which she knew her dad kept locked however she had a quite a high skill of picking locks it was her speciality which she used to break into on mission with her friends.

Kat pulled out a large hair pin and fashioned it in to a key although she had no clue what the key hole would look like she hoped it would work pushing the key into the hole she wiggled the key around until she was able to unlock the door. Slowly, Kat walked inside she was greeted with racks of blood bottles it was making her inner vampire buzz with delight selecting two bottles of premium blood she made her way out carefully shutting the door behind her she intended to take them back to her room.

Back at her room she hid one bottle in her closet which she would take later to see her friends however for now she sat at her desk and unscrewed the top of of the bottle the smell of the blood hit her nose swinging the bottle back she took swings letting the blood flow down her throat satisfying her inner vampire for now.

Later on that night the day quickly became dark and Kat could not wait to own the night with her friends after a long cooped up day in her bedroom away from everyone she deserved some fun. Kat quickly changed her clothes to a pair of long fitted black trousers and a dark purple top caring the bottle under her long black jacket she speed ran down the stairs under the archway ready to run into the outer forest which was surrounding the school.

Kat stood at the archway making sure the coast was clear she had no intention of getting caught she did not want to face her dad and explain the missing bottles in his cellar. As the coast seemed clear Kat took of into a sprint deep into the forest taking a few minutes to sort herself out she continued speed running into the town centre.

At the town centre kat's friends where sat waiting for Kat to arrive. Slowly, kat lucked in the shadows ready to surprise her friends. "Boo!" She shouted.

The three friends looked in surprise at there friends new look. "Hi Kat" Kyle smiled.

"Look what I have" kat smiled back pulling out the bottle.

"Wow is that from your dad's Cellar?" Jessica quizzed.

"Yes I thought my friends deserved a treat" kat explained.

"Cool!" Ally expressed. "Loving the red hair" she continued.

"I am too" Kat smiled.

Kat quickly, unscrewed the bottle and pasted it around to her friends who in turn took sips.

"So what are we doing tonight?" Kat quizzed.

"We all thought we would introduce you to the vampires that roam the city streets" Ally explained.

"Sweet" Kat grinned. "Where do we start?".

"Follow us" Kyle smiled leading the three vampire towards the side streets of the city centre.

Slowly, shifting in the dark back streets until they came to an underground lair filled with boxes shaped like coffins it was quite dark with small lights that glowed and illuminated the surrowndings.

"What is this place?" Kat asked.

"This is where the outcasts live" Jessica explained.

Suddenly a male vampire made his way to the group of vampires he had a menacing presence. "What are you doing here?" He snapped.

"Where showing our friend around" Ally explained. "Kat this is Malik leader of the vampires around here" she continued.

"Nice to meet you" Kat smiled.

"Likewise what did you come here for?" he quizzed.

"Kat transformed today and we thought she could join us in the breather hunt tonight" Kyle explained.

"Sure" Malik smirked. "Come with me".
