For the past week Naruto was not feeling good, it's a been a week since his graduation and has 3 more weeks before he is to meet his team. This is due to the Hokage busy with dealing with Mizuki.
Now it was dusk and Naruto just got back from training , since the Hokage found out that he was being sabotaged in his education. The Hokage decided to have one of his most trusted anbu help Naruto and try to catch up with the rest of the was made possible with shadow clones and Neko who was surprisingly a great teacher.
She taught him all the subjects he was supposed to learn in the academy, taijustu , Chakra control, Chakra theory, strategy and tactics, accuracy and his favourite so far kenjustu along side ninjustu.
This made him happy but what made him feel like this was feel of something calling him for the past week and the dreams of a red haired woman talking to him and leading him somewhere.
Now at the moment he was walking at the outskirts of the village , he ignored this calling for the passed week and now it was very strong. He continued his track and came across something that made him confused.
What seemed to have been calling him was an old , dishevelled shrine that seemed to be about to collapse. But what caught his attention was the red haired woman standing on the stares waving him over.
He walks towards her and was about to talk when she walked in the run down shrine. He follows her , they enter a room with many masks, she points at a mask and smiles at Naruto who just looks at her with confusion and says " you want me to take that mask ?" he speaks and the female's smile widens.
Taking this as a yes he does just that he take's the mask and looks at her. She motions him to put it on made he does just that before it all went black.

With a groan Naruto opened his eyes only to close them again due to the light in the area. After a few minutes he opened them again and looks around and noticed a few things
1 he was no longer in the run down shrine.
2 he was in the most beautiful places he's ever seen. it was a meadow that had all kinds of flowers but the most dominant ones where the Sakura trees and pink roses. The river that was flowing next to him has red water or was it a blood river either way it was beautiful and on other side of the river the was winter settings but just as beautiful.
3 he was in someone's lap and that person was running their hand on his long hair !?
4 they were singing very beautifully.
It seemed the person noticed that he was awake as evident but the voice that was very beautiful " Hello Naruto-kun " the person greets.
Naruto tried to move but the person didn't allow him. He took the hint that they were enjoying this too much, so he just turned to them and saw one of the most if not thee most beautiful woman he has ever saw.
She had dark red hair that was tied into two buns and was kept from her eyes with 3 pins. She had the most enchanting eyes he had ever saw black with a hit of purple and a purple diamond on her forehead. completed by a heart shaped face.
" H..he.. hello " greets Naruto back with a blush trying to avert his eyes away from her's.
This caused her to giggle and Naruto wasn't sure whether it was his imagination , the extreme high he is on right now or it was real but the giggle was angelic. She decided to speak again " I know that you have questions Naruto " she says getting back to looking in the distance while stoking his hair.
Now that she mentions it he did have questions a lot of questions. He was about to start but was cut off " My name Naruto is Mito Uzumaki " she introduces themselves and before he could go on the famous Uzumaki rapid fire rant she spoke. " but no I'm not your mother , your mother died the day you were born but that is not important at the moment, we have to talk to some people and they are about to arrive." she says while shifting him making him sit up but still on her lap while his back was against her chest making blush when filling the soft flesh against his back.
As if sensing his reaction the female giggled and continued to play with his hair. Now he was looking facing a giant fox like creature sleeping and his eye went wide. ' It's the Kyuubi ' he shouted in his mind. He tensed a bit before a wave of calm washed over him courtesy of Mito.
She sighed and said " You know it's his not fault your life is like this " while leaning her chin on his head. " on the day of your birth someone attacked your mother a few minutes after you were born and controlled him" continues Mito.
This revelation shocked Naruto and he wanted to known more but he knew that Mito said he'll be told when the people they waiting for arrive.
Just then the wind started to pick up and the cherry blossom petals started to pick up and create a small tornado , the red river too started to rise and create a twister next to the cherry blossoms. Then snow from the mountains did the same.
After a few seconds the mini tornados dispersed and the stood three females, one had a smile, one a grin and the last one had a smirk.
The first female has dark red hair a darker shade compared to Mito, that flowed freely down her back. She had a heart shaped face, round eyes and red lipstick.
She wore a white kimono top and red hakama pants. and gladiator like sandles. She had a sleek, medium-sized sword. It has a crimson tassel dangles on the end of the hilt, with has a gentle decorative bend. Held in place on her waist by a sash.
The other had pink hair tied in a pony tail. She had a oval shaped face narrow features with cerulean blue eyes.
Her she wore a long sleeve white furisode decorated by Sakura petals and a pink sash on her waist. it also served the purpose of holding a Katana.
The last female has white hair that was tied into a neat side bun. She has icy blue eyes and narrow features.She wore a all white yukata with a sword on her back that was all white.
The boy was about to speak but was cut off by a chill going down his spine and the ones dusk coloured sky turned black and purple lightning accompanied by a dark twister strikes the ground. This action forced Naruto to close his eye. When he opened them a few moments later he saw the first three females that appeared bow to the latest addition.
This too was something from deep in the pits of hell. This thing had dark purple skin. It had long spiky hair that looked almost like a lions mane. It had two red horns sticking out, all black eyes with yellow iris. It's teeth were silver and clenched on a dagger on its mouth.
It wore white robes that hung on the deity.
he stepped forward and spoke somehow with that knife in its mouth ." hello Naruto " he greets.
The boy was unnerved by his eyes but spoke non the less " hello " he greeted and trailed off in the end with slight fear .
" I'm the Shinigami " says the death god to the terrified Naruto who was giving him a terrified look . Making it increases ten fold when he said his name .
" No Naruto-san I'm not here to take your soul it's not your time yet." the deity informs him and this relieves the blond . " but I'm here for business , you see Naruto when your mother was on her deathbed on the day of your birth, she bagged me you help you and she made a deal that I couldn't refuse " says the death god licking him lips, " But you are not yet ready to know what that deal entails. " he continues making the boy frown " don't fret I will tell you about it. She wished for me to protect you , to make sure that you will became great , a legend but most of all that you have the power to protect yourself. " says the death god.
" In exchange I get to eat her soul and unlike those who I eat because they used the Shiki fuijin, who are able to be reanimated by some means, her soul can't. she's wiped from existence, removed from the circle of life. " says Shinigami with a straight face.
" What why!?" asks Naruto in shock.
" she loved you and wanted to make sure you were safe in the world of the living " says the death god." she sacrificed her chance at a better like in the after life, just for you to gain power to protect yourself and be safe " says death
"Is..is the anyway t..to..re.. reverse..the process..to ..ma..make..her exist...again...s..so that she c..can go to the afterlife?" asks Naruto his voice breaking and tears playing on his eyes
" no but she did do it for you so don't disgrace her sacrifice by doing that . " says the death god sternly. " now this brings me to why all these people are here ." he says.
he was interrupted by Mito " if you don't mind I would like to tell him why I'm here " she says and getting a nod and speaks " well Naruto-kun I'm here because I'll be your care taker from now on and help you in all your endeavours till the end of time. " says Mito with conviction in her voice.
This confused Naruto making him ask " why would you do that, isn't the after life great ?" he asks.
" well I've been dead for a long time and it's dull plus Shinigami-Sama needed a care taker for you and I volunteered " she says and get a hug from the teen who was muttering thank you.
" Now that she's done let's introduce the rest" say the god . " these three behind Naruto are fragments of your soul that I took from you when you were born to have them trained. " he informs " but you have to get to know them yourself I can't tell you much about them but I'll transfer a small amount of knowledge from them to you and their power will transfer to the sword you were holding. " but to use them at full power you have to train." says the god.
he motions Naruto to stand. Doing as he was told he stands. He smile suggestively and moved over to him making him sweat.
He uses one of his purple hands with very sharp nails that are also painted black. The god plunges it on his chest.
Naruto was shocked by this before a wave of pain envelops him. After a while of trying to move, scream and other things that would free him from the torture and failing it suddenly stops .
After this he god let's Naruto regain his barring's. He then speaks " Naruto Uzumaki you will walk the world of mortals as one of them and you will do as you please, but remember you are now my mercenary, my bounty Hunter and most of all you represent me the Shinigami, you are my embodiment in the mortal world. " says the god
"you will collect the souls of the corrupt and they will be sent to me " the God says " When one such soul is near, the flames on your hand will turn red and you will do anything to kill them." say the god and disappears soon after.
Naruto was confused by this and looked at his hands and he blinks a few times in shock. His left hand was no longer the same it was completely made of bone and a gentle blue fire danced on it " owk" he says.
He looks around and see's the other three people looking at him with small smile which he returned and bowed which they followed suit and they disappeared.
Mito behind him smiled time to wake up Naruto " she says and all went black for him.

Slowly opening his eyes Naruto found himself in the same position he was in when he woke up in that meadow. He couldn't help but smile. but frowned when the sound of bodyflicker was heard.
And appeared the Hokage with his personal anbu looking ready for combat. He was two people he didn't know sitting on the floor and was confused when the female stopped and blew up in laughter " Saru-chan you've gotten old " says the laughing female.
' Saru-chan? ' thought a snickering Naruto alongside the 4 anbu, while the Hokage's eye twitched but only a few people called him that and they all are dead so he spoke " Who are you? and what are you doing in Konoha property ?" asks the Sarutobi clan member.
" first of all Tobi's little monkey this isn't Konoha property it's Uzumaki property and I like to say I don't like how you didn't bring my clans men here, not Kushi-chan and not her son." says the female " second your senile mind should be sharp enough to tell how I am if not then I was right you were not the right candidate for Hokage " says the female narrowing her eyes.
The Hokage was about to attack when chains wrapped around his arms , legs and waist " easy monkey-chan" says the redhead. his anbu were about to attack but stopped when the females hair unrolled and formed nine swaying strands similar to a fox's tails.
" M.. Mito-sama stammered the Hokage.

3 week timeskip

It's been three weeks since Naruto met the Shinigami and Mito became his care taker. He started training under her and he had met with his sword spirits or zanpakuto spirits and also trained under them in Kido and he found it easier to perform than ninjustu which he also still learned.
He was confused by this but it was explained to him that unlike most people, his spiritual and physical energies almost at all times remained separate and only fused to make Chakra when he used it.
And that he uses his spiritual energy , spiritual pressure or Reiastu for Kido. Then the was his physical energy which he used to augment his speed, strength and overall physical stats, which allowed him to use the flash step in all its variants.
He even found out what the god of death did to him and he wasn't happy at first but soon got over it.
At the moment he was looking at himself in the mirror. His blond hair was spiky and grew out slightly and looked like minato's hair but slightly longer.
he wore a sleeveless black turtleneck shirt . Fingerless white tekko that only cover the back of his hand. A red sash around his waist followed by white anbu pants that are tie by bandages around his calf to his shin and black leather gladiator sandals.
He walked out the Uzumaki compound ready to raise hell in the Shinobi world.
