Silence was all that filled the waiting area and it was starting to tick Sakura off, which due to her hormones going all over the place was really easy. Sakura was about to repeat herself when a nurse came and grabbed her and said she was needed in the OR. Sakura left the waiting area to go help with what she could. Ino and Shikamaru sighed in relief.

After a few strenuous hours Tsunade and Sakura left the OR and Kiba was on his way to recovery. Tsunade went to the waiting and directed Shikamaru and Ino to follow her to her office. Upon entering they saw Sakura sitting next to Tsunade's desk. Ino and Shikamaru entered and took the seats across from the desk.

Tsunade let the staff know that they weren't to be disturbed unless an emergency. She then entered her office and sat at her desk.

Tsunade took a deep breath, "Now explain what happened and why your captain isn't with you."

Shikamru was about to speak but looked in Sakura's direction wondering if it was ok if she knew the real reason behind their mission.

Tsunade saw his concern, "It's fine, go ahead"

Shikamru cleared his throat and started the tale. "After we had left the village and were a good way away Naruto revealed that what we thought was a info gathering mission on Sasuke was actually an assassination mission. He had been ordered to take him out for his betrayal of the village and he chose us to help him find him. After a couple days we found his location and we made our way there. He was alone so we made our forward so Naruto could take him out, but once we got close, we were ambushed by a ton of sound ninja. We fought our way thru the never-ending swarm of ninjas. Kiba at one point got separated from Akamaru and got overwhelmed and badly injured. Naruto made a bunch of clones and covered us while we retreated so we could see to his injures. We made our way to a cave where we agreed to meet up if we got separated. Ino did what she could to stabilize him but she was low on chakra, we all were. After a bit of time she managed to stabilize him. We stayed in the cave another day to keep an eye on Kiba but we needed to get back and we were all ordered to stay no more than a day before we were to head back to the village. So, I worked Kiba on to my back and had Akamaru and Ino lead the way back while I stayed in the back. We got a mile away from the cave from the cave when we heard aloud explosion and felt the ground tremble. The explosion had come from the battle site where Naruto was still fighting. Ino looked at me hoping I would say to head there, but I shook my head as we had our orders to return and Kiba need more medical treatment than we could give him."

Sakura shot out of her chair, "SO you left him out there, he could be badly injured or…" she stopped ad tears filled her eyes.

Ino moved towards her friend and held her.

Tsunade sat at her desk and sighed before speaking, "Shikamru, once Kiba has recovered, I want you to form search teams. Start at the battle site and work out. I'll also send word to the other kages incase he made his way to their villages."

Sakura looked up adnat Tsunade, "I want to be part of a search team."

"I'm sorry Sakura not in your condition," Tsunade replied.

"The father of my child is out there somewhere, I'm not gonna sit on the side lines when I could be out there helping finding him." Sakura blurted out.

Ino and Shikamaru had shocked looks on their faces.

Ino spoke first, "You're pregnant with Naruto's child?"

Sakura realized that she never told Ino they had been dating, but then again, they kinda kept their relationship secret. "Yes, I am, we kinda kept our relationship a secret, but over the past months you guys have been gone, it kinda got out."

Ino thought, "I'll stay behind and do what I can from here, so I can help Sakura here at the hospital and at home."

Tsunade smiled, "That will be perfect, mean Shikamaru start gathering names and putting together teams."

Shikamaru nodded then stood and left to start his work.

Tsunade dismissed Sakura and Ino for the day. Ino took Sakura home and stayed the night so she could get any juicy info out of her friend.

Somewhere else:

Naruto woke up and looked at his surroundings. He was in a room with white walls and a white ceiling. The room was also filled with a bright light and didn't seem to have any doors or window for him to see out of. Naruto stood and tried to move around. He got about half way then felt a tug. He looked down and noticed a chain attached to his chest holding him to the wall, "Where the hell am I and how do I get out of here?
