The day had finally come for the funeral services for Naruto. The entire village gathered for the ceremony, Sakura sat at the front and Ino sat beside her. She could tell her friend was trying to hold herself together the best she could. Over the past few days, Ino helped Sakura get Naruto's things into storage and moved in so she could help her during the pregnancy and after the baby was born.

Tsunade took a deep breath and made her way to the front and stood next to Naruto's grave marker, "Naruto was a ninja delt a bad hand at birth. He had Kurama sealed inside him and lost his parents in the same day. He grew up in a village where most of the people disliked him, but even though he played pranks and defaced some important monuments, he still wanted to get stronger to protect the village and one day become Hokage. Now he may not have may it to Hokage but he did protect this village on many occasions. So, today I will award him the honor of Hero of the Leaf." She takes the box with the small medal placed inside and hands it to Sakura.

Sakura smiles thru some tears and takes the box and holds it close. Tsunade smiled at Sakura and went back to the gravestone.

"Naruto will always be remembered as the hero he was, so in addition to this marker, I will have his name engraved into the Hero's stone. This concludes the ceremony; you are all free to go." Tsunade said.

Everyone filed out with Sakura and Ino heading out first. Sakura had several friends and other villagers stop by her place to give their condolences and offer any help she may need. After a long day Sakura went to bed and fell asleep.

Naruto wasn't sure how long he had been in this strange place but just knew people came in looked him over and leave or would bring him food and something to drink, but no one would talk to him. Naruto looked around room, if he was a prisoner, he had some of the best conditions. He had a bathroom, comfortable bed, chair and a shelf full of books, which he didn't feel like reading. Naruto just wish he knew where he was or who was holding him here and why he couldn't talk to Kurama.

After what seemed like forever the door opened again this time someone different walked thru. He was about 6 ft tall, purple hair, purple eyes and was wearing what looked like a lab coat.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, had a lot going on and needed to get some things together before coming to see you," the man stated.

"Who the hell are you and where am I?" Naruto asked.

"Well, my name is Dark and your somewhere special because you were in bad shape when we found you, so your welcome." he replied

"Alright why is this chain sticking out of my chest?" Naruto asked holding the chain.

"Well first, don't mess with it you will hurt yourself. Second that keeps you connected to Kurama so neither of you die," he replied.

"Why would we die?" Naruto asked.

"Well, when a tailed beast is removed from a hoist incorrectly, the host and beast may die, so we attached the chain to keep your chakras connected. I'm surprised you are able to control his power, not many can control that level, the beast usually takes the host over," Dark replied.

Naruto sighed in relief that Kurama was safe but then jumped when a chair appeared behind him.

Dark motioned to the chair, "Please sit as I have a lot of question for you and I expect the truth."

The look in the man's eyes made Naruto shiver abit, but he sat anyway.

Sakura awoke harshly in the middle of the night in pain and found that her water had broken. Ino got her and got her to hospital. After a long labor Sakura was now holding a beautiful little girl in her arms. She couldn't help but be happy and sad at the same time.

Tsunade looked over with a smile, "So what are you going to name her?

Sakura thought about it and came up with a decision, "Kushina"

Tsunade knew why she picked it and couldn't help but believe it was the right choice.
