Spider-Man: Look out! It's your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man! Nice to see Flash is doing better after losing his legs. I know it'll take some time to get used to, but I believe he'll push through. What I'm having a hard time believing are the Chronoans. Their ancient science is way more advanced than ours. They even mastered temporal technology! I'll never understand how ancient civilizations can be so advanced for their time.

"Fair warning, Corporal. There is still time to pull out." Nick Fury warns Flash.

"No, sir. I am ready to serve." Flash replied.

After being enlisted into Project Rebirth 2.0, Flash found himself in a lab at the new SHIELD Headquarters at Washington D.C. for the very first time in his life. He is being hooked onto some sort of chair by british SHIELD engineer, Agent Leo Fitz, while the systems are being checked by british SHIELD biochemist, Agent Jemma Simmons. Meanwhile, Director Fury says, "Understood. I trust Fitz and Simmons here has informed you this is a dangerous procedure, and will most likely cause its fair share of pain and discomfort." He said to Flash.

"Mmmyeah. On a scale of one to ten? This is… 'Oh, dear god! Why me? WHY ME'?!" Agent Fitz joked.

"Cute, doc." Flash quipped. "But the fact is, I HAVE been thinking that. Out of all the grunts you could've gotten, Director Fury…Why me? With my disability-."

Fury crosses his arms, "Trust me. I can look past that. Let me tell you what I DO see. Corporal Eugene 'Flash' Thompson. A hero during our war against Doctors Eggman and Octavius. A man who literally risked life and limb to save civilians after Iron Queen's breakout. She was our responsibility and we failed to contain her. This is my way of repaying you. You're a good soldier, and a true patriot." He stated.

"All systems check. We're ready to initiate Project Rebirth 2.0." Agent Simmons proclaimed.

"Do we HAVE to call it that? No offense to Steve Rogers, but I've always been more of a Spidey guy than a Cap guy." Flash responded.

"Now THAT, Flash…" Fitz stands near a tube attached to wires in the chair. A tube containing one of Spider-Man's greatest enemies thought deceased. The Venom Symbiote, and the key to create a brand new super-soldier. "That IS one of the reasons we chose you." He stated, planning to bond the Venom symbiote to Flash.

Simmons holds a device in her hand and tells Flash, "Ready? Here we go…"

BGM-Spider-Man 3 (Game) OST-Black Suit Theme #1

Simmons presses a button on the device, which activates the tube and force the symbiote to bond with Flash into his bloodstream through the veins of his body. Flash yells in agonizing pain as he could feel himself changing from the inside out, and struggle to keep himself in control since symbiotes are a very feral and violent race. "Fight it, soldier!" Fury shouted, encouraging him to fight through the pain and bond with the symbiote, "Simmons says we've pumped you full of all the chemicals you need to control this alien, but you and me, we know different, Thompson. You are one of Amerius' best and brightest! And that is ALL you need, to bend this thing to YOUR will!"

Flash heeded the director's words of encouragement to heart and uses all of his willpower to fight and take control of the symbiote within his blood. He seems to have accomplish that feat, easily taking control of the alien and using it to create new legs for himself, much to his shock. "Legs. I KNEW this would happen…IF it worked, but…I made it grow me legs. YES!" He easily snaps himself free from the restraints that held him down in case he lost control. The symbiote then fully manifests itself around Flash, taking the appearance of black and white body armor, with a mask and a large white spider-symbol similarly designed to his idol, Spider-Man. "I can stand again. I can WALK!" Flash proclaimed happily while wearing his new symbiote.

BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-SHIELD (Red Suit)

Fury smiles, proud that his experiment is working, "Hell, son. If you want, you can walk up WALLS. In fact, let's see what you can REALLY do."

For the next few hours, Flash goes through a series of trials to help him train with his new symbiote. He learns how to crawl up walls. Fire webbing from the white patches on the back of his hands. Lift a tank with his enhanced strength. Form tendrils, scythes and other shape-shifting based attacks. And break through special heavy barriers and perform expert acrobatics with his increased speed and agility.

"Amazing! It's everything I ever dreamed it would be…" Flash says after finishing his training sessions. He flexes his muscles and proclaims, "Check it out! I'm Spider-Man!"

"No. You're Venom." Fitz quipped.

"Wha…?!" Flash retorts confusingly, retracting his mask and meeting with Fitz and Simmons at a table, "Why can't I be Spider-Man? There're two Hulks, why can't there be two-?"

Fitz says, "We're sending you after terrorists. We've done psyche profiles. And terrorists aren't afraid of Spider-Man. They know he doesn't kill. Venom, however, will kill ya, eat ya, and come back for seconds. We'll deny it, of course, but it'll get out, to the right circles. And when it does, that's a nice rep to have. Think of yourself as the Shadow the Hedgehog of SHIELD. Speaking of the killing…" He picks up a device from the table, "Let me introduce you to some of your new ordnance…" He hands the device to Flash to hold and check out, "This is the Multi-Gun. Specially keyed to your DNA. My design. Don't lose it."

"Kinda clumsy for a standard automatic." Flash muttered, until the weapon suddenly morphs into an automatic assault rifle, much to his shock, "Oh!"

"It's also a high-powered sniper rifle. It's a firearm for every occasion." Fitz quipped.

"But never forget…" Simmons speaks up, "That suit, the alien symbiote, is your greatest weapon. But these will give you a few more tricks up your sleeve." She hands him some small items that get absorbed into his symbiote.

"What are they?" Flash questioned.

"Knockout drugs. Truth serum. And chemical weapons of my own design. Along with various knives and cutting tools, the suit can also fashion a syringe as a delivery system." Simmons explained.

Flash grins, "Dang, you two. You got me hooked up with everything this side of a Spider-Sense."

"You've got something better than that, Thompson. You've got me." chimes the voice of a beautiful woman.

"Um…hullo?" Flash turns around to be approached by a beautiful woman with long blond hair, wearing a white and black SHIELD jumpsuit and sunglasses.

"Doctor Barbara Morse, more famously known as SHIELD Agent Mockingbird. I'll be overseeing all Venom missions, coordinating with Ops, providing backup in the field, and thanks to listening device implanted during your drug treatments, I'll be the voice on high in your head." Mockingbird introduced herself to their newest agent.

"You sure 'bout that, babe?" Flash flirts, gently grabbing her hand and kissing it, "'Cause the minute you walked in, you were the voice in my heart."

Mockingbird raises an unamused eyebrow, "Are YOU sure 'bout that? 'Cause according to your file, that spot's filled by Weiss Schnee. But more importantly…" She then swiftly slams Thompson to the floor, "Let me be perfectly clear."

"Hey!" Flash shouts, swiftly flipping back onto his feet and points at her, "Where do you get off-?"

Mockingbird glaringly retorts, "I'm not babysitting you, Thompson. I'm monitoring the alien. THAT'S my job." She points to her special wristwatch, "The first sign IT'S in control, I push this kill-switch, fry it, and leave you hanging in the wind. LITERALLY without a leg to stand on. So when I say jump, you don't say 'How high?'…You shut the hell up and JUMP!"

Later…

"Dozen men. Non-lethal force. Done. What else you got? 'Cause I could do this all day, Colonel." Agent Venom said to Fury from within a training room, after easily defeating a dozen SHIELD agents.

"That'll do. For now." Fury said, watching from behind a window with Fitz, Simmons, and Mockingbird.

"We're coming up on the 48-hour window. How are his levels?" Simmons asks Mockingbird.

Mockingbird checks her watch, "They're good, Jemma. Holding."

"But he's getting testy. You can hear it." Fury remarked, "Corporal, you can stand down. We're done for the day. He ordered the soldier.

Flash exits the training room saying, "All right, coach. But I'm telling you I'm fresh as a daisy. You can keep me in for another-."

"No no! We're taking off that suit right now!" Fitz retorts, escorting the symbiote soldier to the lab and hooking him onto a chair to get the symbiote removed.

"But why?!" Flash asked, starting to sound a little annoyed.

"You've read the files. The longer that suit stays on, the greater the chance of permanent bonding. After today, you've got twenty missions tops. Then your tour as 'Agent Venom' is over. And it's on to the next jearhead-."

"I know!" Flash cuts him off.

"And you're good with that?" Fitz asked.

"Yeah! Okay?! Just get this thing off me. DO IT!" Flash shouted angrily.

"Initiating full sonic purge." Fitz presses a button, activating a device that utilizes sonics to painfully purge the symbiote off of Flash and storing it back into it's container tube.

Flash is placed back onto his wheelchair and shares a salute with Fury, "Colonel Fury, sorry for that outburst back there. Won't happen again. And thank you, sir. Not for the walking, or the chance to be, well, like my greatest hero…Thank you for the chance to serve my country. I won't let you down."

"I know you won't, son." Fury saluted.

"C'mon, let's get you home." Fitz grabs the handle grips of the wheelchair, "Unless you'd like to hang out in D.C. some more. Y'know there's this really neat science exhibit at the Smithsonian and I was thinking we could-."

"Heh. Y'know, Fitz, you remind me of this guy I know…and NOT in a good way." Flash smiles, joking about his best friend, Peter Parker, while being escorted out of the lab.

Mockingbird smirks, "Think I know who he's talking about."

"Speaking of HIM…" Fury stands next to Morse, "Let's continue keeping this our little secret. Don't make ANY attempt to tell him that we bonded one of his greatest fears to his best friend. We BOTH know how he'll react." He ordered her to not inform Spider-Man about Agent Venom.

Mockingbird nods, "I know, Fury. You can count on me."

The next day at Flash's Apartment…

BGM-Mega Man Starforce 2 OST-Home Town

'Within a matter of moments, the car had been stopped and the perpetrators were in custody. All thanks to Spider-Man arriving at the nick of time…' said Whitney Chang, a reporter of the Daily Bugle.

Flash is sitting on his couch and watching the news report from his TV with a smile on face, as he's always happy to watch his favorite hero saving the day. And he's even more happy about the fact that he has the opportunity to be as great as his hero as the newest Venom. While watching the news, he catches a glance of Weiss walking pass him behind the couch and in her Huntress uniform.

"You're in uniform?" Flash questions his girlfriend.

She faces him with a smile, "Yup. Going on a Search and Rescue mission with Ruby. The Inner Demons stole some Dust from SDC and I personally intend to get them all back. Should be done in time for V.A. benefit."

"Okay." Flash responded stoically.

Weiss then frowns with sadness, "I mean, unless you don't WANT me to go…"

"What?! No, no, no, no! It's fine. You can stop worrying about me. Go hang out with your friend. I'll be fine by myself." Flash retorted.

"Are you sure? You were gone for nearly two days before." Weiss said, unaware of his new double life as Agent Venom.

"I told you, I was attending V.A. fundraising trips. Sorry I haven't been here." Flash apologizes while lying to his girlfriend.

"I get it…Still, it's not too much to ask for a call when you're going to be late. I'm worth a call." Weiss replied, sharing a kiss with her boyfriend before approaching the door, "I'll see you tonight."

"Take care." Flash waves a goodbye to her before she exits his apartment. He leans back on his couch and lets out a tired sigh for lying to her about his new job. Suddenly, he receives a mysterious phone call from his cellphone and answers it, "Hello?"

'Thompson.' Mockingbird called casually.

"Agent Morse?" The surprised Flash springs up from his couch, "Does Director Fury need me for a mission?"

'Yeah. So whatever it is you're doing, drop it. We need you up in the Helicarrier ASAP. We'll get you picked up, put you in your suit, give the mission briefing, and you're off to terrorize terrorists. Ready, Agent Venom?' Mockingbird informed him.

"I'm ready." Flash answered with a serious tone.

Later, at Secret Base Zone…

BGM-Super Smash Bros. Ultimate OST-Cavern

'Want a reminder of your mission?' asked Mockingbird through the comm link, while Agent Venom is riding a Quinjet to a typical factory-city installation owned by AIM.

"Go ahead, Mockingbird. This is my first mission as an Agent of SHIELD. Don't want to mess this one up." Flash responded.

'For weeks, we've gathered intel on one of AIM's secret projects. A Terrigen Bomb, created by the Scientist Supreme, Monica Rappaccini. They plan to use it to wipe out mutantkind. Your mission is to infiltrate the base, sabotage their supply caches, and disable the Terrigen Bomb. And if you run into Monica, apprehend her with EXTREME prejudice.' Mockingbird briefed.

"With pleasure." Flash complied.

'You have 48 hours to accomplish this mission. If you go even a SECOND over the time limit, you'll be permanently bonded to the symbiote and I'll be forced to activate the kill switch. Nothing personal.' Mockingbird says as the Quinjet lands at a safe position on the outskirts of the base.

The hatch opens for Flash as he jumps out of the jet. "Roger. You do what needs to be done, and I'll do the same." He responded.

'Good luck out there, Agent Venom.' Mockingbird said, wishing him the best on his first mission.

Agent Venom fires a webline at the nearest thing for him to zip into the air and swing towards the base. 'Better go camo to avoid detection.' He thinks, using the symbiote's ability to camouflage and blend in with the environment. He continues swinging around, avoiding AIM guards patrolling the outer base, 'Gotta find a way into the building.' He then spots a ventilation shaft on a wall into the base, 'Hmm. That ventilation shaft will do the job. Best way for a spider to infiltrate enemy territory, or in this case, a Venom.' He clings onto the wall and easily rips off the grate, then crawls through the shaft into the base while turning off his camouflage.

Inside, Flash crawled to the end of the shaft but stops behind the grate. Before he opens it, he takes a moment to look through it and check the room for any guards. Sure enough, there are only four, but nothing that he can't handle. He quietly opens the grate and crawls onto the wall. 'In stealth missions like this, I would usually be armed with a suppressor gun to silently dispatch enemies with. This time, I have built-in suppressors in the back of my hands.' He silently webs a guard and yanks him to the wall, punching him in the face to knock him out before pinning him to the wall with webbing. He then jumps off the wall and flips onto a platform near two unsuspecting guards, binding each of them in web cocoons. He jumps back into the air and spots the last guard, who noticed Venom at the last second before getting knocked out by a web-strike kick.

'So far so good. Getting better controlling this suit, while it's still fighting for control over me. I won't let that happen. Too many lives are at stake. Not to mention my relationship with Weiss. She'll freak if she ever finds out what I'm doing, bonding with an alien symbiote that nearly destroyed the world a few times. I'll deal with that later. Right now, I have a job to do. Save mutantkind from a Terrigen Bomb. Where's a computer?' Flash looks around the room for anything that resembles a computer. Luckily, he finds a holographic computer and quickly interacts with it to find the location of the Supply Caches and Terrigen Bomb, 'Come on, where are they…There! The Supply Caches and the Bomb!' He pinpointed their locations, 'Supply caches are near my position. Should take care of them first.'

BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-SHIELD (Black Suit)

Suddenly, the alarm goes off as the room goes into lockdown. 'Uh oh. AIM knows that I'm here. Gotta move!' Flash web-zips towards a metallic wall and smashes himself out of the room, appearing in a hallway before the room was completely locked down.

The alarms continue blaring as several AIM soldiers arrive and confront Venom in the hallway. "Don't move!" An AIM Soldier threatens, pointing their energy rifle at the symbiote soldier.

"Who in the world is that? Is that Spider-Man?" Another AIM Soldier wondered.

"Not Spider-Man. Venom." Flash uses his symbiote tendrils to pull out every gun on his person, "AGENT Venom." He quips coldly before raining a hellstorm of bullets at his enemies, killing them instantly. 'THAT sounded better in my head.' He quips about his terrible quip.

One AIM Soldier fires at Venom, who easily avoids his attacks by bouncing around the room at high speed before brutally stomping him to the ground. Venom swings over a crowd and drops a fragmentation grenade, which kills them. He then lands in front of more grunts, and before they could shoot him, he uses his webbing to disarm them. 'Unlike military soldiers, AIM are not trained combatants. They rely solely on their weapons and technology in a fight. Disarm them and they stand no chance against me.' He thought, sending a wave of tendrils in a line to lash out and kill the grunts.

On his way to the Supply Caches room, Flash encounters more AIM Soldiers blocking his path with security robots and turrets. He dodges the turrets with his agility and demolishes the robots with his tendrils. He then blasts webbing onto the ground, immobilizing the soldiers that were caught in his trap. He runs towards the webbed goons for a brief moment to reach the speeds of a bullet train, violently dashing through the crowd while grabbing one goon as he breaks through the heavy barrier that leads into the Supply Caches. He slams the grabbed goon while shouting, "Touchdown! Score one for Agent Venom!" He then uses his symbiote to form deadly spikes, destroying the caches around him. After sabotaging the caches, he contacts Mockingbird, "Mockingbird, this is Venom. Just sabotaged the Supply Caches."

'Good job. Now disable the Terrigen Bomb. Know where it is?' Mockingbird asked.

"En route to the hanger! They're planning on shipping it to another base!" Venom replied, easily wiping the floor with the guards blocking him towards the hanger.

BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-Symbiote Boss

Agent Venom runs into the hanger, as the door immediately closes behind him by a certain scientist. "A symbiote…" speaks a beautiful woman with long black hair, wearing a green dress with golden accents and a black skirt. She is Monica Rappaccini, the Scientist Supreme of AIM. She is interacting with a holographic interface while standing near a hard-light container containing the Terrigen Bomb. "Been a while since I dissected one. You seem to be one of SHIELD's new experimental lapdogs, am I correct?" Monica mocks the symbiote soldier.

"Surrender the Terrigen Bomb, Monica, unless you prefer the symbiote dissect YOU." Flash retorted.

"Rather not. You see, I am on a schedule." Monica calmly quips while having the hanger carry a suspicious container near her position. It opens to reveal two faceless humanoid robots, one colored red and the other colored magenta. The red robot releases a stream of fire from its face, sweeping it near Agent Venom and forcing him to dodge it, as the two robots drop down to confront him.

"What are these things?" Flash wondered.

"Adaptoids. These newer models were created to harness the transferred powers of Wisps. Alien power versus alien power. Test them for me, at your own peril." Monica smiles ominously.

The Magenta Adaptoid points a palm at Venom and fires a concentrated sonic blast at him, hurting him while severely weakening his symbiote. It pins him down with a continuous sonic blast, which causes Flash to scream in pain as he feels himself losing control of the symbiote. "The pain…The paaain…" He said as his voice starts sounding monstrous, with his eyes starting to resemble Classic Venom and a jawed mouth forming on his mask.

'Thompson! You're losing control of the symbiote! Get it in control!' Mockingbird shouted.

Quickly, Venom zips away from the sonic attack with a webline and lands atop of a container. "Weee…I…am doing good." He said, regaining control of the symbiote while the monstrous features quickly disappear. "These Adaptoids have the powers to weaken my symbiote. Gonna try attacking 'em from a distance." He whips out his assault rifle and relentlessly shoots the Magenta Adaptoid, who attempts to blast him with more sonics but Flash was smart enough to swing away from them in time.

During one of Venom's swings, the Red Adaptoid unleashes a powerful fire blast to knock him out of the sky and crash into the ground. He grunts angrily while glaring at the Red Adaptoid, "Hate fire…Cost me legs…" He briefly loses control of the symbiote again as he grabs a large shipping container and viciously hurls it at the Red Adaptoid, stunning it long enough for him to lunge forward with a monstrous roar and impale its face with a tendril, destroying it. The Magenta Adaptoid tries firing another sonic blast, but Venom leaps over it as a terrifying, giant maw and lands behind the robot. Venom forms twin tendrils for hands and whips the Adaptoid's legs, slicing them off before destroying the robot completely with tendrils exploding out of his chest.

Suddenly, nerve gas is pumped into the lower floors of the hanger, which causes Flash to cough while also helping him regain control of the symbiote. "Nerve gas! Must be a way to shut it off!" He zips to the upper levels and finds an access terminal on a platform.

Just as Flash is about to shut off the nerve gas, he is suddenly grabbed by the Scientist Supreme in a large yellow-and-black mech suit. "Nice suit…Makes you less attractive." Flash quipped, struggling to break free from her grasp.

"You've caused me enough problems." Monica retorted sternly.

"And I'm not done yet. I'm shutting down your operations!" Flash declared.

"Easier said than done!" Monica violently throws the soldier across the platform. Venom quickly gets up and whips out his Multi-Gun, morphing it into an assault rifle and relentlessly shoots her Exo Suit. Annoyed, Monica retaliates with a barrage of fire blasts that are quickly dodged by Venom. She then uses a special feature of her suit to teleport, warping near the surprised soldier and blasting him away with a large fire beam from her flamethrower. "Your symbiote is a liability. I am doing you a favor of burning it off your skin." She taunted while Flash recovers.

"Not today…We still need to take you down!" Venom retorts, losing control of himself again. He lashes his tendrils to crush her flamethrower, then pulls himself forward to kick the mech suit, clinging onto its chest and proceed to pummel it.

"You won't LIVE after today!" Monica exclaims, causing her suit to burst with flames to knock Venom off of her.

"And neither…will the mutants!" Flash struggled, regaining control of the symbiote as he webs down one of her legs and impales the mech with a tendril, which conveniently disables her teleportation ability. He lunges forward, punching through the mech to grab the scared Monica and rip her out of her suit and throw her aside.

Flash webs Monica to the ground to prevent her from escaping as he shuts off the nerve gas. The lower levels of the hanger become clean of the gas, allowing Flash to drop down and deactivate the hard-light barrier containing the Terrigen Bomb, which is then promptly disabled by the symbiote soldier. He touches his ear piece to contact Mockingbird, "Mockingbird, come in. The Scientist Supreme has been apprehended and the Terrigen Bomb is disabled."

'Not bad, Thompson. SHIELD is on its way now. Keep Monica company until we arrive.' Mockingbird ordered.

Flash nods in acknowledgment, "Roger."

A short while later…

The Helicarrier arrived as SHIELD agents are taking AIM soldiers into custody, including the Scientist Supreme along with her disabled Terrigen Bomb. Agent Venom stands outside the base while being approached by Nick Fury and Mockingbird. "Heard you lost control a few times, but we'll work on that later. Despite that, you did a good job stopping AIM. Mutants can rest easy tonight knowing they won't be extinct by a Terrigen Bomb." Fury compliments Thompson.

Flash salutes firmly to his commanding officer, "Thank you, sir. And I promise to gain better control of the symbiote by the next mission."

"I know you will. You've shown potential. That'll be it for you today. Let's get you out of that suit and take you home." Fury said.

"Roger that, Colonel." Flash responded, following his commanding officers back to the Helicarrier.

Later at Flash's Apartment…

Out of the symbiote and back on his wheelchair, Flash returns to his apartment building to get some sleep and be ready for his next mission. But as he approaches his front door, he is surprised by the appearance of Huntress Avenger, Ruby Rose, and Weiss, who looks really mad at Flash for some reason.

"Hi Flash!" Ruby happily greets the disabled soldier.

"Ruby? And Weiss? What are you two doing in front of my apartment?" Flash asked them.

"You're LATE, Flash! I've been waiting for you for SIX HOURS!" Weiss angrily told him.

Then, Flash realizes something to his shock, "Oh, man! The V.A. Benefit!" He remembered.

Ruby nervously rubs the back of her head, "Yeah. Weiss got worried and we tried looking for you."

"Where have you been?" Weiss asks angrily, confronting her boyfriend face-to-face.

Flash lies, "I-I, um…Well, filling out donator thank you letters for the V.A. office…"

"Don't lie to me!" She interrupted while lashing out a finger at his face, "I have friends that lied to me before! You're hiding something! You were nearly gone for two days before and I was worried sick!" Her face then looks sincere and sad, "Please tell me you're not drinking…"

"I'm not! I promise! I'm not doing that again!" Flash retorted.

"I hope so…" Weiss sighs, "We'll discuss this later. I'm at least glad you got home safely. Come on, Ruby…" She somberly walks away from Flash without glancing a look at him.

"C-Coming!" Ruby responded. She then looks at the depressed Flash with a somber expression and says, "Flash…If anything is bothering you, you can always reach out to me or Peter. Your friends will always be there for you. Remember that."

"Thanks." Flash responded somberly, as Ruby leaves him to sulk and muse of his new life as Agent Venom ruining his normal life with Weiss.

BGM-Sonic Adventure 2 OST-2-Player Select

KFX Here: And just like that, Agent Venom has officially joined the United Heroes Universe. And it's off to a rough start for the symbiote soldier. Hopefully things get better for Flash as we finally get the main plot of this story rolling.

Description: No longer the football star who bullied Peter Parker in high school, Eugene "Flash" Thompson has since served as a decorated soldier, government experiment, and now super hero. After a tragic event while protecting civilians, Flash agreed to an experiment that would subject him to the Venom Symbiote in order to become a new breed of super soldier. Serving as "Agent Venom", Flash uses conventional weapons and the Symbiote to take down his enemies more efficiently than ever before.
