Agent Venom: Agent Venom reporting for duty! My second mission as a SHIELD Agent did not turn out well. I was lost in the Savage Land for over two days while being hunted by Kraven. I lost control of the symbiote and lied about it to Director Fury. And what's worse, there's another Eggman roaming around. He calls himself "Eggman Nega", and he's after the Chaos Emeralds to complete "The Solaris Project". Whatever it is, it got Fury worried. And if HE'S worried, then that means the entire world is in deep trouble.

Issue 5: A Chaotic Day

Wave Ocean Zone, Kingdom of Solkaria

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST- Wave Ocean ~The Water's Edge~

At the tropical beach near the City of Water and Ice known as Solkaria, Sonic the Hedgehog is on vacation, relaxing on a beach chair while wearing sunglasses. He has a drink in his hand and a radio on his beach table. He continues relaxing in peace as Tails runs up next to him with an electric bodyboard.

"Sonic! I finally finished it! My new jet propelled bodyboard. Come on, do you wanna try it out?" Tails happily asks his best friend.

"Not right now, thanks." Sonic declined.

"Alright, I'll go use it myself." Tails runs towards the ocean.

Sonic smiles, "Tails is just like a little kid with his new toy." He jokes, beeping his remote towards the radio to play some rock music.

Meanwhile, Tails places his bodyboard on the ocean, and with a grunt, revs up the engine. He's propelled forward as the jet blasts, splashing large amounts of water on Sonic that quickly annoys him into a shivering groan. "Whoa! Whoa-aaa!" Tails screams in joy while getting the hang of the bodyboard. He stands up on it and rides the ocean with a smile, unknowingly splashing more water on Sonic, who puts up his glasses and gives a worried look at the young fox. "Hey! Come out here, Sonic! It's okay if you don't swim! You could give it a try." Tails says while performing tricks with the bodyboard.

"Just don't show off so much that you forget to look where you're going!" Sonic warns him. He sighs while putting back on his glasses. He was about to lean back on his chair to continue his relaxation, until he felt a loud thud that knocks down his glasses, "Wha?" He hears Tails and a few swimmers screaming from the ocean, "It's probably nothing." He ignores the screaming and puts on his glasses, believing their troubles to be insignificant that requires his aid. He leans back on his chair to sleep, but is having trouble getting sleep with Tails' constant yelling annoying him.

"Sonic! Help us, wake up, Sonic. Come on! Help! Hey! Help us! Wake up, Sonic!"

Sonic growls and shouts, "SHUT UP, TAILS!"

BGM End

The sweatdropping hedgehog then quickly realizes that Tails and the swimmers are actually in serious trouble. They scream as they are being chased by a Giant Chopper badnik. Sonic jumps out of his chair and revs up a Spin Dash, rocketing at incredible speeds and smashing himself through the mouth of the Super Badnik. The robot explodes as Sonic, Tails and the swimmers safely return to the beachside.

"Oh, thanks Sonic." Tails said.

Sonic winks at him, "No problem, lil' buddy. But where did that Super Badnik come from all of a sudden?" He wondered.

Tails spots something in the sky and frighteningly points at it, "Sonic, look!"

"Huh?" Sonic responded.

BGM-Sonic Adventure OST- Egg Carrier: A Song That Keeps Us on the Move

Both mobians look to the sky to find a massive flying fortress with the Eggman insignia. It appears to greatly resemble the famous Egg Carrier but with an extra, smaller silver ship stacked on top of it. The massive warship flies towards the capital city of the kingdom and assaults it with missiles while deploying an army of Badniks to further the damage. Frightened civilians quickly flee from the surprise attack, running and screaming pass Sonic and Tails.

"That ship is attacking the city!" Tails noticed.

"That ship reminds me of the Egg Carrier." Sonic noted. "Looks to me Eggman is up to no good again. Wonder why he's attacking Solkaria?"

"Let's go find out. The Solkarian Military are gonna need help!" Tails turns to his partner with a determined look on his face.

Sonic nods, "Yeah! Let's go give 'em a hand!" He said, performing a Super Peel Out and speeding out towards the city, while Tails takes to the skies with his namesakes and flies to catch up with the speedy hedgehog.

City of Solkaria

BGM-Sonic Forces OST-Death Crab Pursuit

Civilians are panicking left and right caused by the surprise attack from the Eggman Empire. The massive battleship in the sky hovers menacingly over the town, firing missiles that decimate buildings. Blowfish Transporters are seen descending towards the town, opening their hatches and deploying Badniks to go to war against police officers, Solkarian Military troops, and Huntsmen. Three Super Badniks were also deployed to fend off the elite heroes of the city. A massive robot based on Rotor the Walrus called the War Walrus slams its monkey wrench to scatter the elite Huntsmen, Ace Operatives. A Death Egg sentinel endures a combo assault from Specialist Winter Schnee and Mercenary Silver Sable. And a Death Crab is chasing the Winter Android Maiden, Penny Polendina.

A squadron of Egg Gunners and Egg Pawns notice Sonic and Tails approaching and attack them. Sonic smiles as he and Tails counterattack, dispatching the robots with high-speed Spin Attacks. "The city is becoming overrun with Badniks!" Tails noted.

"The city will be FINE! Sable International and the military can handle the small-fry Badniks. It's the Super Badniks that we need to worry about." Sonic replied.

The two Freedom Fighters race towards Winter and Silver Sable fighting the Death Egg Sentinel. Sable is on a rooftop firing a rocket launcher at the Super Badnik's eye, damaging it. The Sentinel retaliates by smashing her building with one strike, causing her to fall while screaming. "SABLE!" Winter shouted, noticing her partner falling.

"I gotcha!" Sonic leaped, zipping and grabbing Sable in midair.

"Sonic the Hedgehog?" Sable remarks in shock to be rescued by the blue blur.

Meanwhile, Winter jumps over a slam from the Sentinel but was unable to dodge its uppercut in time. But thankfully, she was quickly saved by Tails flying to her rescue. "I have you!" Tails says while grabbing the huntress by her arm.

"Thank you, Tails." Winter replied, as the two land next to Sonic and Sable.

"You two take a break. Leave big boy bot to us." Sonic cockily says to the elite soldiers while confronting the Death Egg Sentinel.

"No! You two go to Princess Elise's aid!" Winter retorted.

"Why?" Sonic asked.

"We saw Eggman heading towards her castle. This attack is just a distraction. And something about Eggman seemed…unusual." Sable explained.

"Unusual?" Tails noted.

"Dunno whatcha talkin' about. Eggman always seem unusual, but we'll go check out what he wants with the princess." Sonic quipped, racing with Tails towards the castle.

"Hurry! Leave this Super Badnik to us." Winter shouted, while she and Sable confront the Death Egg Sentinel for another round of fighting.

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-Dr. Eggman Appears

At the royal castle of Solkaria, the young Princess Elise stands outside on her balcony, alongside her royal guards, overlooking the destruction wrought by the Eggman Empire with a look of shock and horror. Suddenly, the balcony is surrounded by Egg Pawns. And as they are about to attack, Doctor Eggman Nega appears in his Egg Mobile. The Egg Pawns to the sides of the Egg Mobile glance over as their boss prepares to confront the Solkarian sovereign with an eerily polite bow.

"A pleasure to meet you at last, Princess of Solkaria. I am Dr. Eggman Nega. I have come here on a quest to unlock the secret of the Flames of Disaster." Nega then points to the blue Chaos Emerald that Elise clutches in her hand, which she then presses tightly against her chest n terrified fear, "Which involves taking the miracle gems that are the key to its secret…The Chaos Emerald! Now Princess, this way please."

Nega's points towards his direction and Elise begins to step back in fear, until she heard the voice of a heroic hedgehog shouting, "EGGMAN!"

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-Sonic Appears

Elise gasps with happiness as she recognizes the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog. Eggman Nega turns around and spots the hedgehog and his fox friend racing towards the balcony from below. The heroes stop in shock upon noticing the unusual doctor. "Eggman Nega?! What are YOU doing here?" Sonic asked, recognizing this doctor as different from the usual Eggman.

Nega smiles eerily, "Ah. If memory serves me correctly, you're Sonic the Hedgehog. It is nice to see you again. Unfortunately, I don't have time to play with you." He snaps his fingers to teleport in four Egg Hammers to fend off the heroes. Sonic and Tails quickly use their Rolling Combo technique to split an Egg Hammer in half. They then run towards the second one, with Tails throwing Sonic over its head and spin-attacking its back, knocking it down. Sonic clashes with the third Super Badnik until he joins Tails to stomp it down. Sonic runs up the handle of the remaining Egg Hammer and smashes through its head, landing on the balcony and dispatching the Egg Pawns with Homing Attacks while Tails comes to Elise's rescue.

And then, out of nowhere, Tails was tackled out of the air by a black blur and accidently let's go of Elise. The black blur reveals themselves to be a black-and-yellow Metal Sonic, who quickly grabs the princess. "Wha? What kind of Metal Sonic are you?!" A shocked Sonic remarked while Tails recover.

"Good job, Metal Sonic version 3.0! Take the princess back to base!" Nega ordered, following his flying silent enforcer towards an unknown base out of the kingdom.

"SONIC!" Elise yelled while being kidnapped away by the villains.

"ELISE!" Sonic shouted, helplessly watching her being taken.

Tails takes out his Miles Electric and scans for her location, "It looked like she was holding a Chaos Emerald. I'm picking up its signal. They're heading towards White Acropolis." He informs the hedgehog.

"Then that is where we're going. C'mon!" Sonic jumps off the balcony, racing with the fox towards White Acropolis to save the princess.

Later at White Acropolis Zone…

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-White Acropolis (Snowy Peak)

Sonic and Tails arrived at Eggman Nega's frozen fortress atop of a snowy peak. Tails took out a pair of binoculars and uses them, zooming in closer to note the traps that awaits them like watchtowers, spotlights, and robot guards. "Something about this base gives me an ODD sense of deja vu. Why is Eggman Nega back in this time? Is he working together with Eggman again to gather the Chaos Emeralds?" Tails wondered, while also getting the mysterious feeling that they raided White Acropolis before.

"We'll ask him personally when we rescue Elise from 'im." Sonic replies, tossing down two snowboards that he brought with him. "Race ya!" He smiles, jumping onto the snowboard as he slides down the snowy slope.

"Hey! No fair, Sonic!" Tails shouted, sliding down the slope on his snowboard as well.

Sonic chuckles while sliding down the mountain, having fun as he jumps onto a rail to grind with a chuckling Tails slides below him. As Sonic jumps off the rail, aerial Badniks like Flappers and Buzz Bombers notice and fire their bullets at them. The heroic duo swiftly dodges their attacks and splash snow onto the robots, slamming them to the ground. "YAHOO!" Sonic hollered, as he and Tails jump off a large ramp and perform stylish tricks in midair.

Then, the mobians land and cruise down a steep downward slope with a large snowball tumbling down behind them. "Sonic, incoming snowball!" Tails shouted, pointing out the large snowball.

"This is MY déjà vu. Brings back some memories from Ice Cap." Sonic grinned, recalling an earlier adventure involving him racing away from a large snowball at Ice Cap Zone.

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-White Acropolis (The Base)

After outrunning the gigantic snowball, the heroes make another leap off a ramp to reach the gates of the base. They jump off their snowboards and run forward, rampaging through guards and searchlights while avoiding laser fences.

"This is pretty cold place for a base." Sonic joked while kicking down an Egg Pawn.

"That's the idea, Sonic." Tails quipped. "But those Grimm don't seem to mind." He spotted some Grimm about to intercept them. Multiple Centinels burrow out of the snow near Tails, surprising him. The fox quickly takes to the sky and uses his namesakes to slice through the dark centipedes.

"Way too slow! Try to make me sweat, kitties, unless you're getting cold feet!" Sonic taunted, racing against several Ice Sabyrs. The Sabyrs are running incredibly fast while competing against the hedgehog. They nearly overtake him in the race, until Sonic uses his Quick Steps to knock them away. One Sabyr lunges at him from the back, but Sonic saw it coming from a mile away and jumps over its attack and counters with a Drop Dash, killing the Grimm. Sonic chuckles as he looks back, not paying attention to the Frosted Petra Gigas that intercepts him out of nowhere. The Gigas stomped in front of Sonic, knocking him back with a shockwave.

"Are you okay?" Tails worriedly asks the hedgehog.

"Peachy." Sonic stands up with little injuries. "Won't say the same for Frosty the Snowgrimm. Go for the limbs! You high, I low!" He orders while charging towards the Grimm.

"Right!" Tails nodded.

The Frosted Petra Gigas tries slamming a fist on Sonic, who easily slides under the attack and knocks away a levitating leg. In rapid succession, Tails strikes a levitating arm, then Sonic goes the remaining leg and Tails knocks away the remaining arm. The main body drops like a rock and is left helpless to the heroes' final attack, which happens to be their Rolling Combo that smashes through the mask and kills the Grimm completely.

BGM End

The Rolling Combo smashes through a gate and uncurl in a large round arena. The duo glance around until Tails notices someone in the sky and points it out, "Sonic!"

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-Theme of Dr. Eggman

Sonic looks up and spots Eggman Nega patiently waiting for him in his Egg Mobile. Metal Sonic 3.0 hovers ominously in the air, glaring down at his organic counterpart, while Princess Elise is held captive on the Egg Mobile. "There you are. I have been waiting for you, as has the princess." Nega said to his enemies.

Nega pushes Elise off of his Egg Mobile, causing her to fall while screaming. Sonic gasps, running to catch Elise in his arms before she hit the ground. "Are you okay?" Sonic asked her.

"I'm fine." Elise nods, while she's being gently put down on the ground to stand on her feet.

Sonic growls angrily at the ruthless doctor, "That wasn't very polite, Nega! You were using Elise to bait us into a trap!"

"Of course! Why would the princess have any significant importance to my plans? All I wanted was her Chaos Emerald." Nega reveals the blue Chaos Emerald that he stole from the princess, "Now I am free to eliminate the three of you ALL at once! BEHOLD!" He thrusts his palm into the sky to summon a new challenger.

Suddenly, the ground trembles beneath the heroes, and they look around to see what has caused it, until they look upward and spot the Egg-Genesis, a large floating robot with four arms and searchlights.

"Tails, I got this! Protect Elise!" Sonic ordered, wanting to fight Egg-Genesis alone.

Tails nods, "Yeah!"

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-Egg Cerberus & Egg Genesis

Tails flies the princess to a safe place while Sonic runs towards the Egg Genesis. The massive Super Badnik fires missiles at the hedgehog, who easily outruns them. "You think you can intimidate me with just your size? Come on, let's see what you can do!" Sonic taunted.

The Egg Genesis lowers down and spreads its arms to release robots. Sonic uses Homing Attacks on the robots to reach one of the arms, running up it towards the head of the machine. Eggman Nega growls, "Why you little…Upper cannons open fire! Shoot him down!" He ordered missiles at the hedgehog, who tricks them to hit the head instead. One of the legs break off while Sonic jumps high into the air, as he's being chased by more missiles.

"Sonic, look out!" Elise shouted.

"I see 'em, princess! Just keep enjoyin' the show!" Sonic quips, turning around and bouncing off the missiles, then rides on one and redirects it towards the robot's head. He jumps off the missile as it hits the head, then strikes it with a powerful Homing Attack before landing back on the ground. "All right, you're going down!" He taunted, after breaking off another leg of the robot.

"Awesome, Sonic!" Tails cheers alongside the princess.

Enraged, Nega shouts, "Don't cheer for him yet! Begin charging core laser! Take this, Sonic!"

The machine rises back up into the air and targets the hedgehog, while charging energy in its energy core that's located underneath it. "That doesn't look good." Sonic noticed, worriedly sweating a little. The Egg Genesis employs its Core Laser attack, but the hedgehog dodges it. But it was all a trick to lead Sonic into the sights of a missile volley, which was successful to blast him away.

"Sonic! Get up! More missiles coming your way!" The worried Elise shouted.

Though injured, Sonic manage to stand up and run away from a continuous missile barrage. He runs along the walls of the arena at high speed to avoid the missiles, while noticing the Egg Genesis charging up another Core Laser. "Gotta take out that core!" He told himself. The machine then fires its Core Laser attack at Sonic on the walls. The hedgehog quickly leaps from the wall, avoiding the laser in time, and smashing through the core and breaking off its third arm.

"What?!" Nega retorted in shock.

Sonic then bounces off the wall to pierce the head of the Egg Genesis, mortally damaging the machine as its last arm is destroyed. "You did it, Sonic!" Elise cheered.

"Not completely. It looks like the fortress is crashing…" Tails says, noticing the Egg Genesis is about to explode and targets both him and Elise to smash into, "ONTO US!" He said, sharing scared faces with the princess.

"RUN!" Sonic shouted at them while hurrying to their location.

Quickly, Tails grabs Elise and flies away from the crashing Badnik before it crushes them. As it does, the Egg Genesis explodes, unleashing a shockwave that knocks down the princess and the mobians, but they were fortunate enough to land into a pile of snow.

Sonic shakes snow off of his head and smiles at his friends, "That was incredible!"

Elise chuckles, "I suppose it was."

BGM-Sonic Adventure OST-Theme of Dr. Eggman

Suddenly, Nega's massive flying fortress appears in the sky above White Acropolis, which got the attention of the three heroes. "BEHOLD! My almighty air fortress: The Grand Egg Imperial!" Nega announced, "You fools have no idea the kind of trouble that you gotten yourselves into!" He taunted.

Sonic jumps out of the snow and quips, "Then why not enlighten us? What are you doing back in this time zone? Are you and Eggman working together again?"

"I won't bore you with the details. Know that I have uncovered secret files that'll help me complete my Solaris Project." Nega proclaimed.

"Solaris Project?" Tails questioned the nature of his master plan.

"It is a special project that requires the seven Chaos Emeralds and reviving the Flames of Disaster!" Nega answered.

Tails gasps in shock, "Are you talking about the same Flames of Disaster spoken in Chronoan legend?" He recalled hearing about the Flames of Disaster during his recent trip to the museum.

Nega smiles, "Oh ho. So you are familiar of that ancient civilization. Yes. The eternal Flames can distort time and control fate. I want to obtain it and rule over everything in this world. The past, the future, ALL OF IT!"

"You wish…to control time?" Elise questioned with terrified shock.

"Correct!" Nega smiled evilly. "I'm afraid our time is up. Alright, Metal Sonic 3.0! We're leaving to look for the next Emerald, but let's make a pit stop first. I want to retrieve something else that'll help me in my plans. Until we meet again!" He laughs maniacally, as a bright cyan light shines on the Egg Mobile and Metal Sonic, lifting them towards the Grand Egg Imperial. The massive battleship then flies away from White Acropolis.

Not long after the Grand Egg Imperial flew away, a Solkarian Dropship lands at the base near Sonic, Tails, and Princess Elise. The hatch opens, as Winter, Penny, Silver Sable, and the Ace-Ops jump down to greet the trio. "There you are! Princess Elise, are you injured?" Winter asked the monarch.

"I am fine, thanks to Sonic and Tails. What of the city? And my people?" Elise asked the Huntsmen.

"The city is still standing, your majesty. And your people is safe, though we did suffer some causalities. All the more reason to bring Eggman to justice." Clover Ebi replied.

"You mean Eggman NEGA." Sonic quipped.

"Nega?" Clover remarks in confusion while looking at the hedgehog.

"He's Eggman's descendant, from 200 years in the future." Tails informed the Huntsmen and Sable, much to their surprise.

"He's really from the FUTURE?" Penny commented in awe.

"Then what is he doing in the past?" Sable asked.

"To find the Chaos Emeralds and complete his 'Solaris Project' to control time." Sonic answered, "But we're not gonna let that happen! Me and Tails will find the Emeralds first, then we'll go crack that future egghead WIDE OPEN!" He declares, while determinedly clenching his fist.

BGM-Sonic Adventure 2 OST-2-Player Select

KFX Here: Eggman Nega has gotten himself a new Chaos Emerald and has revealed his plans to Sonic. The hunt for the Chaos Emeralds begin anew, but that'll be handled by Sonic. How is Spider-Man going to fit in this adventure, ignoring Agent Venom's presence? Hint: It doesn't involve Mephiles (I'm saving him for a later).

D.N. Works: For now, I'm handling Agent Venom similarly to the comics during his early days, as in he'll ONLY wear the symbiote during missions. Inbetween missions, that alien slime is locked far away in a lab.

Dragen slayer: Eggman Nega made a cameo during The Fell Awakening storyline in "Issue 25: Exalted Awakening".
