CHAPTER THREE.FIVE

WE SAT IN TOM'S STUDY, AN UNCOMFORTABLE SILENCE DOMINATING THE ROOM.

"Why is this person sending us messages like this? We're not even looking for anything!"Draco muttered in anger, breaking the terse silence.

"Draco, calm down. Let's think about this rationally,"Luna started off, her normally serene face traded for a frown marring her Fae-like features.

"Then tell me, Loony, how do you suppose I do that when a nutcase is busy sending creepy arse messages? There's no fucking way I can relax and think 'rationally' right now."

"Okay, let's not start any fights," I sighed shifting slightly. I was leaning against a bookcase only to slip against a book. The shelf started moving to the side, causing me to fall back onto the floor.

"What the actual fuck?"Draco asked, both his and Luna's face frozen in astonishment.

I turned around to see a large titanium door behind me. It glowed eerily in the dimly lit room. Next to it was a luminous green keypad.

"What the hell does your husband do when no one is around?"Draco asked after moments of stunned silence passed.

"I used to think that it was Potioneering, but suddenly I don't know anymore..." I replied quietly.

I stood up and dusted myself off, walking towards the door.

"Can you guess the password?"Luna asked, walking up to me. She reached her hand out to trace her fingers on the cold metal of the keypad.

"I don't think so..."

"Can't escape,"Draco blurted out.

"Pardon?"I asked.

"Can't escape. 3-5-14-19-3-1-16-5."

"Draco? Are you alright?"

The blond had purple shadows under his eyes, appearing as if he hadn't slept in weeks and looked rather nauseous. Luna went to him and felt his forehead.

"He's...cold?"she asked, perplexed.

"Type the numbers in!"he rasped. He was probably only upright still because of Luna supporting him.

"Draco, I think you need to sit down..."Luna mumbled.

"Potter!"

"Alright!"I snapped, turning facing the door once more, my fingers waiting to type the numbers. "What's the order?"

"3-5-14-19-3-1-16-5."

I quickly pressed it and the lines in the door flashed green.

"Access granted. Welcome, Guardian,"a robotic, feminine voice echoed.

The door slid open to reveal a darkened staircase.

"This is one of those moments where I reevaluate my life decisions all over again..."Draco muttered before pushing past me and walking ahead.
