AN: Hi all. I had an idea that popped into my head after reading Refuse to Bow by Disappearing Pucca. This is my take on it. It uses some of the language from that fanfic but the plot is mine. Other than that, characters and the world they are in are not mine.
Reviews are welcome but constructive criticism please. I don't really publish my writings so I don't know if people will like it. I tend to be a little redundant and have worked on it. Anyways, on with the story.

Prologue
Lucy Heartfilia, known to the guild and others as the Light of Fairy Tail as her smile was known to light up even the darkest moods. However, all members knew that when she was ticked, she was scarier than Mira and Erza. In fact, Gajeel doesn't even mess with her despite calling her 'Bunny Girl'. Although that might be due to the fact that she had kicked him clear across the guild without trying as she had gotten annoyed by him.
The guild was fiercely protective of their resident Celestial Mage. Why wouldn't they be? She had helped all of them with their problems. On top of that, most saw her either as a daughter or sister. Some found her a really close friend. Others found her as a motherly type. Happy had found her as a bit of a mother since she cared for him even though he annoyed her from time to time. Though he had stopped teasing her lately about her weight. Wendy saw her as an older sister as did Romeo.
The biggest overprotective people however, were her brother, who she found out after looking through the papers at her Estate that she bought back, Erza her girlfriend, Gray her brother by decision, and the Thunder Tribe. Oh, of course her spirits are as well. They all knew that she had been raised in wealth, but they didn't know what exactly she had done during her time as a Heartfilia. The only one who seemed to know was Aquarius. It also seemed that Aquarius was very fond of Lucy. So when a man came into the guild one day, it made the guild question who was the real Lucy. The Lucy that they saw everyday and brightened up everyone's lives just by a smile, or the Lucy that had grown up in a mansion and was raised in a world the guild could only dream of?
AN: A few characters will be OOC. Lucy, Laxus, and Erza are OOC where some are slightly OOC. I put Aquarius in because I feel that Aquarius does like Lucy, just she likes teasing her. Aquarius might be OOC. Porlyusica will also be involved somehow. Also go check out the original because it's cool due to the reason why Lucy seems to have a reason why she doesn't tell her friends about her past. It also makes you think about why the show only shows Lucy's past but only with her father. What about other kids? Suitors because of the rich style she grew up in?
And yes, this is a super short Prologue but there's more in the first Chapter, which is in Laxus' point of view.
