BGM-Spider-Man Unlimited (Game) OST-Main Title

Spider-Man: Look out! It's your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man! I was on the trail of Venom when I was forced to fight a Doctor Doom from the future. Then immediately after that, me and Miles were kidnapped by Eggman Nega in his ship. We need to find a way to break outta here, or at least hope somebody is coming to our rescue!

Issue 12: Key to Time

GUN Science Station, Mystic Jungle

"SONIC! TAILS! Wake up!" Beast's voice echoes through the ears of the hedgehog and fox, slowly rousing them from their sleep.

The mobians blink their eyes and groan, regaining their senses and finding themselves lying on beds in the infirmary. Tails rubs his sleepy eyes and sees a smiling Beast, alongside a few GUN doctors, looking at him and Sonic. "Thank goodness. You're awake." Beast said.

"Beast…? How long were we asleep?" Tails asked tiredly.

"Nearly an hour. Would've been comatose for weeks if I didn't produce a chemical solution to reduce the effects of the knockout gas that Eggman Nega hit you with." Beast replied.

"Nega…what happened to the Chaos Emeralds?" Sonic asked.

Beast frowns, "He took them after the ambush. If I am right, that means he has 3 Emeralds in his possession."

Sonic grunts, "He must be desperate."

"I'm afraid I have more bad news." Beast said, "While you were unconscious, there were news reports that stated his battleship invaded New Vale City. Only for a moment. Not to attack, but to capture Spider-Man and steal the OOPArt."

The mobians gasp in shock upon hearing their friend has been captured by Eggman Nega. "Spidey's been captured? Then we gotta go rescue 'im! Where are they now?" Sonic asked quickly.

"Luckily, the Freedom Fighters have just pinpointed his ship and are on their way to rescue him now. Princess Sally requested that you two join her in the assault, IF you feel up to it." Beast informed.

Sonic quickly jumps off his bed and lands in a dramatic pose, "Who do you think you're talkin' to? I ALWAYS feel up for action! C'mon, Tails! Let's hurry to the Tornado 2 and join the fun!" He declared.

"Yeah! Let's go!" Tails remarks with a determined face, flying out of his bed and follows Sonic out of the station to join the rescue effort.

Meanwhile in the Grand Egg Imperial…

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-Eggman's Plot

"Here you go, boss. One OOPArt for your world dominating needs." said Orbot, standing next to his idiotic partner, Cubot, while handing the OOPArt to Eggman Nega at the command deck.

Nega holds the relic with a smile, "Thank you. What is the status of the Spider-Men?"

"They are being escorted to their cells as we speak." Orbot answered.

"Good. And are we being pursued at the moment?" Nega asks politely while walking towards a computer console.

Cubot shakes his head, "No way, New Boss. All of the heroes are too busy with the time distortions at New Vale, and the Egg Army is doing a good job distracting SHIELD and GUN."

Nega chuckles, "If only my ancestor can see me just how competent I'm running his empire better than him."

"I'm sure he would love to see it, if you didn't lock him up." Orbot sassed.

"Such a shame. Then he won't see me doing THIS!" Nega stabs the OOPArt into a keyhole in the console, charging it up with its energies.

"Doing what, exactly?" Orbot questioned.

Nega explains, "Spider-Man and the archeologists have no idea just how SPECIAL the Chronoblade is. Not only is it a source of incredible power to manipulate time, but the ancient Chronoans also developed this device to work as a RADAR to locate their lost technology and keep guard of their most dangerous items! It is the key that'll help me locate and unlock the Sol Vessel containing the Flames of Disaster!"

With the power of the Chronoblade, a holographic map is projected in front of the doctor, as he proceeds to input commands to pinpoint the location of the Sol Vessel on the map, "The Chronoblade, the Sol Vessel, and the seven Chaos Emeralds…Once I have everything, the fate of the world will change. And the Vessel is located on an island at the Bermuda Triangle."

'Sol Vessel located.' His computer informs him.

Nega thrusts his right arm forward, "Set the course. We will head from here to recover the Sol Vessel." He ordered.

Prison Room, Grand Egg Imperial

Two Swat Bots walk into the prison room, with one of them holding Amazing Spider-Man and the other holding Ultimate Spider-Man. Despite their incredible strength, neither spider is unable to break free from the robots' bulky grasp. Peter was rudely thrown into a prison cell before Miles was thrown into the same one. The cell projects a hard-light barrier to prevent the prisoners from escaping. The Badniks then walk out of the prison room, just as Miles tries to punch himself free through the hardlight wall.

"We gotta get outta here! But I can't break through! And I can't seem to use my Venom Blast!" Miles noticed while punching the barrier.

"This cell must be designed to dampen our powers, and all of our tech too." Peter notices that his Web-Shooters aren't working either, "They also have the OOPArt, and I can't summon it. We're stuck in here." He proclaims.

"But there's gotta be SOMETHING we can do to break free." Miles retorted.

"It's no use. Give up." said an oddly familiar voice, which is coming from the shadows of the cell across from the Spiders'. The mysterious figure walks out of the shadows and reveals himself to be Doctor Eggman, much to the surprise of both wallcrawlers.

"Eggman?!" The Spider-Men expressed with shocked faces.

"Long time no see, Spider-Man." Eggman greets the webslinger.

"You talking to me?" Peter mockingly points at himself, already irritating the imprisoned doctor.

"Of course I'm talking to you! I don't know anything about this Spider-Kid!" Eggman retorts loudly.

"I'm also called Spider-Man…" Miles says sheepishly.

"Oh, are you his descendant from the future that wants to take over his life and ruin everything too?" Eggman asks sarcastically with an annoyed face.

"Eh, sorta." Miles quipped.

"Why are you locked up in your own ship?" Peter asks the imprisoned doctor.

"Why do you THINK?! It was just a normal day of me planning out my latest scheme to take over the world when out of nowhere my accursed descendant captured me, locked me up, and took over my entire empire!" Eggman retorted angrily, "And I just heard that he stolen the OOPArt from you, so that means he is one step closer in completing his plans."

"And that would be to conquer all of time." Peter remarked.

"In his own way." Eggman quipped.

"Whaddya mean?" Peter asked curiously.

Eggman explains, "I'm sure by now you've heard about Solaris. His project is based on his secrets, which are in his eternal flames. His power can change time, and even manipulate the fabric of time itself. I wanted to obtain this power and dominate everything in this world. From the past all the way to the future! But Nega mocked me of thinking too small. Too safe. HE'D rather start from scratch. Erase everything. Wipe the slate clean. He wants to reset the timeline and rebuild it to his liking. He will become a GOD. Which means I won't exist, and neither will you, the Avengers, Freedom Fighters, everyone that he deems an enemy to the family legacy!"

"He wants to destroy the timeline?! But wouldn't killing you mean he'll kill himself?" Miles commented.

"I said he'll become a GOD, meaning he'll exist outside the flow of time. But we're not the first ones that thought of using Solaris to conquer time. SHIELD had the same idea years ago." Eggman replied.

BGM-Sonic Adventure OST-The Past

"SHIELD?" Peter questioned.

"Project PEGASUS." Eggman replied calmly as he tells them the story of the secret project, "During the aftermath of World War II, Howard Stark found the lost vessel containing Solaris while searching for Captain America. In the following years, he studied the Flame and founded SHIELD, wanting to find a way to harness his power and control time themselves. As a result, Stark was instrumental in the creation of Project PEGASUS, a joint venture between SHIELD and the United States Government tasked with studying and harnessing Solaris' energy. Over the years, they were unable to make any major breakthroughs, especially after the death of Howard Stark which lead to a huge delay. It wasn't until 20 years ago when Nick Fury brought in a renowned quantum physics scientist by the name of Erik Selvig to continue the research. Progress was finally being made, or so it seemed. There was a spatial meltdown that killed most of the researchers. And even more strangely, the accident caused Solaris to split into two component beings, the black shadows known as Mephiles, and the Flames of Disaster known as Iblis. Fury was able to seal away Mephiles, while Richard and Mary Parker sealed away Iblis."

"Richard and Mary…" Peter lowly gasps in shock, learning that his parents sealed away Iblis years ago.

"As a result, the project was shut down permanently, and both Mephiles and Iblis were hidden away by SHIELD, never to be reformed into Solaris ever again." Eggman lectured.

"I had no idea…" Peter frowns, looking away to stare depressingly at the floor.

"But, how is Nega gonna find Iblis if he was hidden away years ago? All files retaining to Project PEGASUS must've been erased if it was so secret." Miles remarked.

"The answer lies in the OOPArt. The Chronoblade. It was equipped with a hidden mechanism to track down any Chronoan artifact in the world, including the Sol Vessel containing Iblis." Eggman stated.

"What have I done?" Peter berates himself while pacing within his cell, "I was used as a guinea pig to test out its power, and practically giftwrapped it for Nega when he captured us. No doubt he's on his way to find the Sol Vessel right now!" He angrily smashes his fists together, "This is all my fault! We GOTTA get outta here and stop him! We can't wait for anyone else to come and rescue us! We don't have much time!"

Meanwhile in the hallways of the ship…

Three Egg Pawns are casually walking through a hallway and having no reason to look up at the ceiling and spot Agent Venom sticking onto it. Once the coast was clear, Venom quietly drops down and wields his pistol, carefully walking through the hallway to find any clues on where they are holding his lifelong hero, Spider-Man, and save him.

Flash touches his earpiece, "Okay, Colonel Fury, I'm in. Fury? Mockingbird?" He notices that he's not receiving any reply, "Damn. The walls must be shielded. Gotta hate Eggman tech. Guess I'm on my own for this one." He whispered.

While sneaking towards a corner, Venom accidently bumps into Silver, who also infiltrated the ship to rescue the Spider-Men. Venom immediately points his gun at the hedgehog, just as he prepares to psychically blast him. "Huh?" Silver remarks, surprised to be confronting Venom and not a Badnik.

"Hey, you're that hedgehog who was with Spidey earlier." Flash recognized him, as he's also surprised by his appearance in the ship.

Quickly, Silver scowls and telekinetically smash Venom onto a wall and pin him there. "I've been looking for you! You're Venom! Where are you holding Spider-Man?!" Silver interrogated the incapacitated symbiote.

"I don't know. I don't work for Nega! I'm here to rescue Spider-Man too!" Venom retorted.

"Why should I believe you?" Silver asked, not convinced.

"I-I work for SHIELD! I was sent here to rescue him and stop Eggman Nega from conquering the world!" Venom revealed, as he and Silver hear footsteps approaching from an end of the hallway, "We don't have much time! I'm not the same Venom as the one before! If I was, I'd be struggling against you right now! I'm one of the good guys, or at least trying to be! You gotta believe me! Spidey's in danger and he needs our help RIGHT NOW, and we can't do that if we're BOTH captured!" He urges the psychic hedgehog to hurry up and make a decision before they are caught by the guards.

Silver grunts, sweatly thinking over his next decision while hearing the guards' footsteps getting louder and louder. He then arrives at a decision, relenting his control over Venom and setting him free to move on his own again. "Over here!" He gestures the soldier to follow him to a safe corner to hide from the passing Badniks. One of the Egg Pawns thought they saw something, but simply shrugs it off and continues walking alongside its brethren.

"That was close. Thanks, man." Venom said to the psychic hedgehog.

"Just don't make me regret this. So how're we going to find Spider-Man?" Silver asked his new ally.

"He's most likely hold up in a prison cell, but this ship is huge. Maybe I can use the connection between this suit and Spider-Man to track him. Use my own 'Spider-Sense'. We'll need to be stealthy, but quick. Take out the guards that could be a problem. You with me?" Venom asks his psychic partner.

Silver nods, "Yeah. Let's go." He said before following Venom through the ship to locate their friends.

At the Command Deck

BGM-Sonic Colors OST-Dr. Eggman Appears

Eggman Nega looks at his ship's interface to see that they are nearing the Bermuda Triangle, the secret location hiding the Sol Vessel. He chuckles evilly, "We have arrived at the Bermuda Triangle! I am one step closer to my destiny! I can already TASTE the power of temporal domination!"

"Really? Is it good?" Cubot remarks idiotically on his taste of temporal power.

Suddenly the proximity sensors detect the presence of nearby enemies approaching the ship. "Huh? The sensors have picked up something. Display!" Nega shouts, as the ship projects a holographic screen of the Tornado 2 and the Sky Patrol flying towards his ship. He smiles, "Ah, if it isn't the Freedom Fighters. Somehow they found me. It is no matter. I just need to keep them distracted while I swoop in and steal the Sol Vessel." He takes the OOPArt and passes Orbot, Cubot, and Metal Sonic 3.0, "The three of you hold them off as long as you can! Divert their attention away from me, as I infiltrate the island!"

"Yes, sir." Orbot nodded.

"Whatever you say, New Boss." Cubot salutes, as Metal Sonic 3.0 acknowledges his orders with a silent nod and watches his boss leave for his Egg Mobile.

Meanwhile in the sky…

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog 4 OST-The Tornado Takes Off!

'Nice to see you two are okay.' Sally Acorn talks to Sonic and Tails through their earpieces, as the brotherly duo are riding the Tornado 2 near the Sky Patrol, where the rest of the Freedom Fighters are in.

"There was no reason to worry 'bout us. How did you guys find Nega's ship anyways?" Sonic asks, as the heroes are nearing the Grand Egg Imperial.

'Heard from Lucina that Silver infiltrated the ship and followed his psychic energy signature. We'll send backup immediately.' Sally replied.

Suddenly, the Grand Egg Imperial begin its massive assault against the Freedom Fighters, unleashing a frightening plethora of missiles and aerial Badniks like Balkirys, Turtloids, and Metal Sonic 3.0 piloting its own large black and yellow aircraft.

"Might have to delay that order! INCOMING!" Sonic shouted.

Sonic holds tightly onto the wings of the Tornado, as it and the Sky Patrol swerve and narrowly dodge as many missiles as they can. Future Metal Sonic sends out Balkirys to attack the Tornado while shooting energy blasts at the Sky Patrol. Sonic quickly jumps and destroys the Balkirys, leading him to deliver a powerful Spin Attack onto the cockpit of the Metal Carrier and interrupt his assault on the Sky Patrol.

"Appreciate that blast from the past!" Sonic quips, while Tails catches him.

Future Metal coldly glares at Sonic, firing several cannonballs at the Tornado and forces Tails to avoid them. 'Firing Particle Beam Cannon!' Rotor shouts, using one of the Sky Patrol's weapons to blast a hole in the Egg Imperial.

'Amy, Knuckles, Bunnie! Head inside the ship and find Silver and Spider-Man!' Sally ordered.

"We're on it!" Amy responds, riding on Knuckles' back as he and Bunnie flies through the chaotic battlefield into the hole to rescue their friends.

Meanwhile with the Spider-Men…

BGM-Sonic Mania OST-Flying Battery Zone Act 1

The power goes out in the prison room thanks to the chaotic battle happening outside the ship. The alarm rings, surprising the Spider-Men and Eggman, before their cells open, allowing them to walk free again. "We're free!" Miles exclaimed.

"Someone must be attacking the ship!" Eggman hears and feels the ship trembling from the battle outside.

"What good timing! Let's get outta here and find out what's going on!" Peter points to the exit, which he rushes towards alongside Miles and Eggman.

Meanwhile with Agent Venom and Silver…

"What's happening?" Agent Venom wonders, as he and Silver feels the ship rumbling as well in the hallway.

Silver smiles happily, "My friends must be here to help us!"

"You mean the Freedom Fighters?" Flash remarks, as he's glad more heroes are here and a little worried since they might see him as the enemy.

Suddenly, the duo were assaulted by gunfire from a Badnik Horde at the end of the hallway. Venom whips out his pistols and return fire, fending them off until Silver obliterates them with a psychic blast. Then, a tall red Super Badnik called a Noizi appears to confront them. It unleashes a powerful ultrasonic wave from its generators to attack the duo from behind when they weren't looking. "AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHH!" Venom is pinned to the ground, desperately covering his ears as he starts losing control of the symbiote, "The noiiiisssseee…Symbiote can't take it…!"

"Try to cover your ears!" Silver shouts while covering his own ears. He glares at the Super Badnik and uses his psychokinesis to crush its main speaker, freeing Venom from the sonicwaves. The monstrous-looking Venom stands free, then roars while thrusting tendrils to impale the robot, causing it to explode into pieces. Silver turns around to face Flash, and was shocked and scared to see him looking like the monstrous, classic Venom, "WHOA! You, uh, you're not looking too nice. You're still in control, right?" He asked.

"Surprisingly…" Venom replied, with Flash barely having control of the symbiote, "Symbiote hates Nega as much as me. Realizes the threat he poses. Wants him stopped. Just as long as nothing else upsets it."

"GET AWAY FROM SILVER!"

Out of nowhere, Amazing Spider-Man lunged through the air and dropkicks his old nemesis, brutally smashing him into a wall. "Oh no…" Flash mutters in shock, staring helplessly at his lifelong hero looming over him with a menacing glare.

"Oh YES! I just KNEW you working with Nega all this time! I don't know, and I don't CARE how you're back, Venom! This time I'll make certain that you don't hurt anyone else again!" Peter declared.

Spidey immediately pummels down on Venom with all of his strength, while Silver is freaking out over the misunderstanding, "Spidey, wait! You don't understand!"

Growing in rage by being beaten down by its greatest foe, the Venom Symbiote starts taking control of Flash as it smacks Peter across the hallway and land near Silver, 'STOP!' Flash mentally says to the symbiote, 'Spider-Man is NOT the enemy! Eggman Nega is! You hear me?! PLEASE! We must stop Nega, or it's the end of everything we care about!' He tries reasoning with the symbiote while it pummels Spider-Man, but receives no response, 'No response…Blinded by rage…isn't listening…focused on one thing…'

"KKILLL SPPIDDER-MMAN!" Venom roars monstrously, having taken full control of Flash's body. He grabs Spider-Man's body and brutally slams him to the ground, "WWWWE HAAATESS YOU! Alwwayys in oour way. Always you ccausse PPAIIN to uss." He snarled.

"You don't know what pain is…But I'm gonna show you!" Peter retorts, knocking Venom away across the hallway with a devastating uppercut.

"This has gone from bad to WORSE!" Silver expressed agitatedly, while Miles and Eggman approach him from behind.

"Holy…That IS Venom. Forgot how ugly he looked." A shocked Miles quips, watching the battle between his mentor and his most hated rival.

"What's he doing here? Didn't he die?" Eggman questioned.

"Eggman? What are YOU doing here?" Silver asked the scientist.

"Trying to regain control of my ship! I'm headed to the command deck! Spider-Kid, back me up!" Eggman shouts while running towards the command deck.

"Might as well have someone keep an eye on him. Silver, stay here and help Spidey!" Miles says while following Eggman to the command deck.

"I'll see what I can do." Silver replied.

Meanwhile with Eggman Nega…

BGM-Shadow the Hedgehog OST- E.G.G.M.A.N. [Doc. Robeatnic Mix]

Wielding the OOPArt and riding his Egg Mobile, Eggman Nega alone invades the island that is hiding the Sol Vessel from the world. The Vessel is housed in a secret SHIELD Facility that is immediately closing all of its metal doors while the alarm blares loudly. With a single slash from the Chronoblade, Nega cuts through the doors blocking him to his prize.

"Wahahahaha! That was too easy! So let's have a look at the vessel containing the raw power of the Eternal Sun God!" Nega laughs maniacally while moving through the underground base.

The base's security system summons a surplus of turrets that unleash a bullet onslaught at the intruder. Nega chuckles ominously, using the OOPArt to freeze time and stop the bullets in midair as he casually flies pass them. A door above him opens, and a SHIELD Mandroid robot drop down to fight him. It fires a laser at the Egg Mobile, but Nega presses a button to project a forcefield, blocking the attack.

"My turn now." Nega fires lasers of his own, destroying the robot. More SHIELD robots show up to fight Nega, who effortlessly destroys them with the OOPArt. He continues moving, unaware that a flying SHIELD drone is just ahead. The robot ambushes him and opens fire, but the Eggmobile hovers above it and crushes it, "Another crushing victory."

At a large security door, an access panel lights up and the door opens. Nega steps through into a chamber, then walks to a terminal, "Nearly done. Just need to hack into the system, give it some juice with the Chronoblade and we're all set!" He types on the keypad, and then inserts the Chronoblade to cause the machine to glow.

Steam hisses from the pipes, filling the room. A stasis tube opens, revealing a small blue cylindrical container. Nega smiles evilly as he grabs the container and raises it triumphantly into the air, "The Sol Vessel! At last, IT IS MINE!" He laughs maniacally over his near-victory to rule the timeline, "Now to reduce the TIME my enemies have on living." He laughs while pressing a button on his Eggmobile.

Meanwhile at the Grand Egg Imperial's Command Deck…

"Hope you don't mind if we hijack your ship!" Miles quips while barging into the command deck with Eggman. The guard robots immediately fire at them, but they are quickly dispatched by Miles and his electrified webbing.

"Boss! You're here to save us." Orbot claps his hands in joy upon seeing his old boss again.

"SAVE YOU?!" Eggman furiously grabs both Orbot and Cubot and violently strangles them, "YOU BETRAYED ME FOR MY UNWORTHY DESCENDANT, YOU USELESS TRAITORS!"

"We had no choice, doc! He allowed us to eat two meals a week instead of one!" Cubot quipped.

"THEN I HOPE YOU'LL ENJOY DINING ON YOUR OWN SCRAP ONCE I'M FINISHED DISMANTLING YOU!" Eggman said angrily.

"Uh doc? Sorry to breakup the tear-jerking reunion, but uh, why is your ship counting down?" Miles points out to a 5-minute countdown on the ship's interface.

Eggman gasps in utter shock while accidently letting go of his robot henchmen to fall to the ground. "EGAD! Nega activated the self-destruction sequence!" He shouted in horror.

"Can't you stop it?!" A worried Miles asks, as Eggman desperately tries to stop the self-destruction sequence.

"It's no good! I'm locked out! WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!" Eggman shouts while frighteningly running out of the command deck.

"RIGHT BEHIND YOU!" Miles swings towards him.

"WAIT FOR US!" Orbot shouts, as he and Cubot chase after them.

Meanwhile with Amazing Spider-Man…

Peter swingkicks Venom across the face, latches a webline on his chest to zip in for a brutal punch. Venom violently deflects the webslinger onto a wall with a swing of his arm. "Stop…f-fighting…meeeee…!" Flash says, struggling with all of his might to regain the symbiote from within.

"I'll stop fighting once you take off that suit!" Peter retorted.

"Caaaaan't…not noowwwww…" Venom hesitantly strikes a tendril at Peter, knocking him away before backflipping to stick to a wall, "Don't want to…hurrrrt youuuuu…"

"Tell that to my bruises!" Peter lunges at Venom to deliver another nasty attack, but was surprised when he suddenly stopped in midair after being caught in the grasp of Silver's powers. "SILVER! What do you think you're doing?!" He shouted.

"Listen to me! Venom is NOT the enemy this time! One of the robots made him lose control of the symbiote! He said he works for SHIELD!" Silver told him.

"SHIELD? How are they involved in this?" Peter asked, sounding both angry and curious about this claim.

While Peter is still caught in Silver's grasp, Venom ruthlessly lunges at Peter and smashes him to the wall. He takes out the hidden explosive that was placed in his suit as a failsafe by SHIELD, in case Flash lost control of the symbiote, detonates it before placing it on Peter's chest. "What the?!" Peter notices the explosive, quickly kicking his rival away before throwing the explosive across the highway. The explosive explodes, destroying a large section of the battleship and closing that end of the hallway with rubble. "Why did he have an explosive with him?" Peter wonders while standing next to Silver.

"Someone…heeeeellppp…" Venom stands in place with his hands clenching onto his head, as the symbiote and Flash struggle against each other for control of the body.

"I have an idea. Stand back!" Silver tells Spider-Man as he confronts Venom alone. "HEY! Whoever you are behind that suit, focus and keep strong with everything you have! I'm gonna try and help you regain control!" He jumps into the air and floats, putting his hands on his forehead and focuses his psychokinetic energy.

"Huuurrryyyyy…" Flash hurries him.

"PSYCHIC CONTROL!" Silver shouts, unleashing a psychokinetic wave at Venom, which causes him to yell in agony. Slowly, his monstrous form reduces to the normal-sized Agent Venom, seemingly returning full control of the symbiote to Flash.

After performing the move, Silver falls back to the ground and pants exhaustedly. "Whoa! What did you just do?" Peter asks the tired hedgehog.

"Scrambled the symbiote's mind…Gave it limited vertigo…As long as I'm near him, I should be able to keep it under control." Silver panted.

"Wasn't aware you had a power like THAT in your arsenal." Peter remarked, surprised by how powerful Silver is.

"Cable taught me a few things whenever he visits my era." Silver replied.

"I AM back in control. Dunno how you did it, but thanks." Flash said, having control of his symbiote again.

Suddenly, the three of them hears someone punching through walls until the wall next to them busts open, revealing Knuckles standing before Amy and Bunnie. "There you guys are!" Amy gasped upon finding Silver and Spider-Man.

"Amy!? Oh man, am I so glad to see you guys again!" Peter smiled in joy to be saved by the Freedom Fighters.

"Hey, wait a minute! Is that VENOM?! What is HE doing here?!" Knuckles fiercely points at the symbiote soldier.

"I'm still figuring that out myself." Peter quipped.

"FIGURE IT OUT LATER!" shouted Eggman from across the hall, running desperately towards the heroes alongside Miles, Orbot, and Cubot.

"Eggman?" Venom questions his sudden appearance.

"WE MUST FLEE! We have less than 3 minutes before this entire ship blows OUTTA THE SKY!" Eggman shouted, frightening the heroes with this horrifying news.

"Quick, follow us!" Bunnie points to the hole that they just made, quickly flying away as the rest of the group follows her to the exit.

Outside…

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog 4 OST- Introduction of Death Egg mk. II

Metal Sonic 3.0 flies his craft upside down and fire lasers at the Tornado 2. Tails pilots his plane and avoid the lasers until he reaches the cockpit, allowing Sonic to attack the robot clone. Metal Sonic then pilots the aircraft directly in front of the Tornado and fires lasers at it whilst sending out Balkirys to disrupt the plane's movements. "This won't slow us down!" Sonic destroys the robots with Homing Attacks as he reaches Metal Sonic, hitting him with a strong attack.

The Metal Carrier looks to be on its last legs as Metal Sonic tries to flee, commanding missiles from the Egg Imperial to fire at the Tornado and the Sky Patrol, both who do their best to avoid getting hit. 'Deploy Omochao Gun!' Rotor fires an Omochao from his battleship to distract Metal Sonic, allowing the Tornado 2 to spin horizontally and hit him, destroying the aircraft.

After the aircraft is destroyed, Metal Sonic 3.0 jumps out of it as it explodes and flees from the scene of an exploding Grand Egg Imperial. "The ship is losing altitude!" A shocked Tails shouted.

"LOOK!" Sonic points and spots Spidey's group jumping out of the exploding ship.

"THIS IS GONNA BE CLOSE!" Peter shouted.

Amy rides Knuckles' back as he glides towards the Sky Patrol. Bunnie flies back with her jet boots, while Silver uses his powers to fly himself, as well as Eggman, Orbot, and Cubot. Meanwhile, the Spider-Men and Agent Venom launch quick weblines to zip themselves onto the roof of the Sky Patrol.

"Hey, hey, hey! You made it!" Sonic smiles, riding the Tornado near Spider-Man.

Peter greets the hedgehog with a friendly wave, "Sup."

Everyone turns around and watches the Grand Egg Imperial destroys itself, dropping out of the sky as explosions rupture across the hull. "Alas! There goes my best effort to date." Eggman quips as his ship crashes into the oceans of the Bermuda Triangle.

The Tornado 2 and the Sky Patrol land on the island, where Eggman Nega just raided and escaped with the Sol Vessel to parts unknown. "Is everyone okay? Spider-Men? Silver?" Sally asks while running out of her airship.

"We're fine…That was cutting it close." Silver pants tiredly.

"I think I had enough excitement for a few years…" Miles pants exhaustedly on the roof of the Sky Patrol.

Sonic jumps off the Tornado and approaches his arch-nemesis, "Yo, Eggman. Where have you been hiding during this whole crisis?"

"Locked up in my own ship, for starters, you ignorant hedgehog." Eggman snarls while crossing his arms and glaring at his grinning foe.

"And who the heck are you, tall, dark, and gruesome?" Rotor asks Agent Venom.

"I'm, uh…Agent Venom." Flash replies nervously.

"Who made a symbiote an agent?" Rotor questions curiously.

"That is what I want to know." Peter remarks, before turning around and facing the decimated SHIELD facility, "Same about this place. This is a SHIELD base, but it looked like somebody just attacked it."

"OH NO! Nega must've escaped with the Sol Vessel while we weren't looking!" A horrified Eggman retorts while nearly ripping out of his hair.

"The what?" Sonic remarks in confusion.

Suddenly, everyone hears the sound of a jet nearing the island. They look up and notice a SHIELD jet about to land near them. The hatch opens, revealing Nick Fury alongside Mockingbird and several SHIELD Agents walking out to greet the heroes.

"Well, look who is brave enough to finally show up." Sonic quips with a stern stare at the SHIELD Director.

Fury notices the SHIELD Facility was in ruins and scowls, "Damn. We're too late."

"You BETCHA you're too late! You have a LOT OF EXPLAINING TO DO, FURY!" Peter angrily lashes out at the stoic director.

"Guess you found out everything." Mockingbird quipped.

"Calm down, Spider-Man." Fury says, gesturing him to back off and calm down.

Peter yells, "Why would I calm down?! You made VENOM a SHIELD AGENT?!" He points at Agent Venom, "Let me guess: You used the symbiote shards that we collected during that PHANTOM nightmare to create a super soldier! Why would you be that STUPID?! You put EVERYONE AT RISK!"

"We needed a symbiote to fight against OTHER symbiotes, like Carnage or Salem, or against another POTENTIAL symbiote invasion!" Fury argued.

"That is still WAY too risky! Symbiotes can NOT be controlled! I've bonded to them more times than anyone else on this planet, and even with my powers, I couldn't control them!" Peter retorted.

"That because you weren't using the proper technology." Fury retorts, remaining calm and stoic with Peter's enraged attitude.

"Oh, like the same tech you gave THIS guy…" Peter fiercely points at Venom again, "Who STILL lost control and would've KILLED ME if it wasn't for Silver! That just proves my point! NO ONE can control a symbiote! You've endangered this man's LIFE!"

"The man behind that suit KNEW the risks and WILLINGLY went through with the experiment to fight for his country!" Fury disputed, choosing to keep Venom's secret identity a secret from Spider-Man as that would only upset him even more.

"Or fight AGAINST it!" Peter retorts.

"Okay, okay. That is enough arguing. We can discuss about Agent Venom later." Sally steps forward, standing between Fury and Peter to calmly stop the argument, "We have bigger problems at the moment." She sternly stares at Fury, "We KNOW about Project Pegasus, Fury. You and SHIELD were trying to control all of time years ago, and caused the accident that split Solaris into two. This facility was created to hide one of them. The Flames of Disaster, correct?" She points at the decimated SHIELD facility.

Fury nods, "That's right. But it was the government that was interested in controlling time, wanting to use the power of Solaris to change history, correct past mistakes and gain eternal life. When Howard Stark found the Sol Vessel containing Solaris while searching for Captain America during the end of World War II, he thought what SHIELD thinks: The Flames of Hope could be the key to unlimited sustainable energy. That's something the world SORELY needs, for today and its future." He explains his motives to the heroes.

"Did Richard and Mary Parker agree to help SHIELD build WEAPONS using energies of a time god?" Peter sternly asks the director.

"Parker?" Flash questioned with a shocked tone in his voice.

Fury replies, "No. Those two were more interested to help create advanced technology like better medical equipment and clean energy, but they feared the project was getting too dangerous. After the accident that terminated Project PEGASUS, I've too come to realize that humanity wasn't ready for that kind of power, and hid Iblis and Mephiles in the most hidden locations. The government didn't like my decision and wanted to continue experimenting, but I managed to convince them that it was for the greater good."

BGM-Sonic Adventure 2 OST-Strategy

"Should've convinced yourself to shoot Iblis into space. Now Nega has him, the OOPArt, and 3 Chaos Emeralds." Sonic quipped, scratching the back of his head.

"The situation is gonna get a whole lot WORSE before it gets better. SHIELD has one of the Emeralds. We need a team to search for the remaining 3, while the rest of us locate Nega. That includes YOU, Eggman, since this IS your descendant from the future that we're dealing with!" Fury glares at the mad doctor.

Eggman scoffs, "Yeah, yeah, whatever. I'll try and find out which one of my bases he hijacked."

"Spider-Men. Accompany Sonic and Tails as they locate the remaining Emeralds. The rest of us will find Nega in the meantime." Sally orders them.

"I want to help them too." Agent Venom speaks up, getting everyone's attention.

"No way! Nuh uh!" Peter retorted, immediately denying his assistance since he doesn't trust the symbiote.

"Hey, I've been fighting Nega and locating the Emeralds before any of you realized he was here. I want to continue serving my country!" Flash argued.

"What if you lose control of the symbiote again?" Peter asked.

"We have a failsafe to blow him up in case he does." Mockingbird quipped.

"You mean the same explosive that he tried to kill ME with?" Peter glares a deadpan look at his SHIELD friend.

"Well, guess that plan failed before it started." Mockingbird shrugged.

Silver politely raises his hand to gain attention, "Um, I can use my powers to keep him under control while we look for the Emeralds."

"If that's so, then Silver and Agent Venom: I want you two to accompany the Chaos Emerald Retrieval Team." Sally ordered.

"Yes! Thank you, princess!" Flash smiled.

Peter sighs while facepalming, "Okay, fine, you can tag along. Just don't eat anyone's brains."

"I promise, Spidey. It's an honor to be working alongside you." Flash says, living the dream to be working alongside his favorite superhero in the world.

"You're welcome, I guess." Peter replies awkwardly, unaware that he is talking to Flash Thompson.

"Let's switch to a different plane. No way the Tornado 2 is gonna fit all of us." Tails says while heading towards the Sky Patrol.

After a moment, the Chaos Emerald Retrieval Team come out of the Sky Patrol in the X-Tornado. Tails is in the pilot seat as usual, while Miles, Silver, and Agent Venom are in the passenger seat. Sonic and Peter are outside sticking to the top of the jetplane. "HERE WE GO!" Sonic smiles, pointing ahead as Tails flies the jet to the skies to search for the remaining Chaos Emeralds.

KFX Here: Oh, things are just getting worse for the heroes, but at least now you know where Eggman has been, and the main heroes (Sonic, Tails, Silver, Peter, Miles, and Agent Venom) are finally together for the second half of this story. Only 3 Chaos Emeralds remain. Find out how they'll be found in the next chapter.

Dragen slayer: The Ace-Ops appeared in Issue 5 of this story. They didn't have much to say or did much, but they were there.

Question of the Chapter: With the powers of Solaris, would it be a better idea for the government to control time and fix their mistakes of the past, or have SHIELD create better technology for the future?
