Her footsteps echoed down the corridor, a sinister smile displayed across her face. The hatchet she dragged behind her gleamed in the moonlight. "Come on Hojo, don't make this so hard on yourself." Fear danced in his eyes the closer Kagome got. He tried to run away, but no matter how fast he ran, she was still right there. He felt like a mouse being tortured by a cat. He knew he was wrong but how was he supposed to know that this is how Kagome would react.

After catching you with her

Though you could say that this wasn't the first straw; though it would be the last. Kagome had decided to give Hojo a chance a couple of years ago. Everything was fine at first until he became a little more aggressive. She always said no, wanting to save it for marriage. One night when she had come home from the feudal era, she decided to go see Hojo, but nothing would have prepared her for what she would see.

Your blood should run cold, so cold

Approaching the door, she could hear the faint moans of a feminine voice. Throwing it open, there was Hojo, not only with another girl but with Ayumi; one of her best friends. "How could you? And you Ayumi, I will never forgive you!" Both of the culprits stared in indifference. "Maybe if you didn't want me running to someone else, maybe you should have given me what I wanted." Hojo showed no regret.

You, you two-timing, cheap-lying, wannabe

He had always seemed so kind and caring, but his true colors were showing. All he really wanted was to get her in bed, thinking she would be easy. Since she was always "sick" no other guys really showed interest, but she still wouldn't give it up.

You're a fool, if you thought that I'd just let this go

The day, Kagome vowed to get her revenge. Her chance to set things right would come soon after. When she and the Inu-Tachi defeated Naraku, instead of wishing for something pure, Kagome wished to be a full demon. Her revenge began with none other than Hojo, saving the best for last.

The scraping of the hatchet dragging on the floor ceased. She pulled it up and cocked her arm back, violently swinging down. Hojo's arm fell to the floor and his screams bounced off the walls of the alley. Blood splattered onto the floor into a pool. Quicker than Hojo could see she had the hatchet cocked back again and went for his other arm. He was close to passing out from the pain when she injected him with adrenaline.

"Not so fast. I'm not done with you yet." His body slumped into the floor, smearing blood. His eyes were so wide, it was as if they would pop out of his head. "Please, stop! No more! I'm sorry, I shouldn't have cheated!" Kagome ignored his pleas, coming to crouch next to him. "Oh honey, but I'm almost done. We've got just one more piece to go, are you ready? Here is come!"

Now all I see is red, red, red

Kagome ripped off his pants. She began massaging his member and already blood began rushing to the tip. "See it feels good right? We gotta make you nice and prepared." Once he was fully erect she moved her hatchet back one last time and chopped it off. "Oops, guess you can't cheat anymore!" Standing over his body she watched and the pain took over all his senses until he finally bled out. Counting her fingers, Kagome put one down, "One down, two to go. Feudal era, here I come."

Kagome's feet touched the bottom of the well. She knew no one would be there waiting for her. Ever since she wished to become a demon, she had broken off all of her relationships. Leaping to the top of the well in one bound, she took off towards the east. By nightfall, she knew she was in his territory and he would sniff her out sooner or later.

Soon after she arrived, the familiar whirlwind came into sight. Out of breath, Koga stopped in from of her. "Kagome, where have you been? I heard you were a demon now! This is great, now you can come live with me and the others. Stalking up to him, Kagome wrapped her arm around his neck. "Of course Koga, that why I came." Not used to a calm Kagome, Koga paused. "How's my woman-"

Know that you, you dug your own grave, now lie in it

At that moment, Kagome's arm shot through his stomach. "I'm so lucky you're a demon. This means I get to have more fun before you die. And don't worry, I've coated my hand in a paralyzing liquid so you can't get away." The confusion was written on Koga's face. "But - but, why?"

You're so cruel, but revenge is a dish best served cold

Of course, he didn't get it. When they don't take no for an answer, they never get it. Not long after Kagome had gotten over Hojo's betrayal, she went back to Edo. While in search of the shards, the group had stopped for the night. Kagome needed a bath so she went to the nearby hot springs. Unbeknownst to her, a drunk Koga wandered nearby. He had been celebrating his Ginta and Hakakku when he caught her scent.

Koga's eyes bled red as he sped towards her. Before she even knew what was happening, he had her pinned against a rock. There were no words, only muffled screams. Koga held his hand over her mouth to keep her quiet while he violated her in the most intimate way. The worst part was the whole time he delusionally thought Kagome liked it. "Yes, bitch. Tighten those walls for me. Who's your alpha?"

He pounded into her, tearing her insides. When he was finally done, the red receded from his eyes and he kissed her forehead. "That's my woman. Get some rest, you earned it. You really know how to please a man." Back in the present, Kagome shifted, grabbing hold of Koga's heart.

Executioner style, and there won't be no trial

"You know, I'll cut you a deal. How about this, if you tell me you're sorry and I believe you, I'll let you live." "Sorry for what!?" Kagome abruptly squeezed his heart. "Wrong answer." Kagome's face contorted in rage. "Please!"Koga begged. "I'm sorry. I"m so sorry!" Kagome brought a finger to her chin, "Hm. Still not good enough. You have to really make me feel it. Like you need to tell me… or you'll just die of shame."

"I'm so sorry Kagome! Please forgive me! I don't want to die like-" Kagome squeezed causing his heart to burst inside his body. "Everybody knows, never make an apology about yourself. That so insincere." Koga's body fell to the ground in a bloody pile. Wiping her hand off on his pelt, Kagome forged a path towards her last target.

Inside Inuyasha's forest was a little cottage. Just from the smell of it, she could tell Inuyasha and the Clay pot lived here together. Posting up in a tree, she waited for them to return. Finally, and dusk the arrived home. Deciding it was smarter to wait until they slept, Kagome watched them until they put the last candle out. Mask her presence she slipped inside. Immediately she went to work tying up Kikyo. When she was ready, she activated the beads around Inuyasha's neck, "Sit, boy!"

Now all I see is

Before Kagome had taken the leap and become a demon; after she had been betrayed and sullied by Hojo and Koga, she looked to Inuyasha for comfort and safety. Instead of being supportive and caring, Inuyasha discarded her, calling her a whore for having sex with Koga. No matter how she tried, she couldn't convince him that she hadn't been willing.

Run, hide

It all came to a crux when they had come across the local band of demons. In the middle of the fight, one of them had grabbed her. She screamed for Inuyasha to save her. It would have been different if he hadn't heard if he hadn't turned if he hadn't seen her, but he did. He watched as they took her. That night they used her and abused her. She would have been dead if not for her healing powers.

Oh, you're so done

Surely she was dead, but just a week later, Kagome turned back up. To say Inuyasha was shocked, would be an understatement. To his astonishment, Kagome didn't once mention what happened She went along, happy go lucky as always. The only reason she was able to play dumb, was because she had already started to formulate her plans for revenge. She knew she needed his help to defeat Naraku and get the jewel.

Oh, better sleep with one eye open tonight

After all that she had been through, her soul had turned black. There was no light left and that is what they took from her. She could never get that back, and they were going to pay for what they had done. If it was the last thing she would do, Hojo, Koga, and Inuyasha would die by her hands.

Shocked, Inuyasha sat up, eyes wide, at what he was seeing. Kagome sat behind a sleeping Kikyo with a knife to her neck. "Well hello, Inuyasha. My dearest apologies for waking you up so abruptly. I just didn't want you to miss the show." Kagome jostled Kikyo awake. "Hey soul stealer, sleep well?" Kikyo tried to move away or scream but the restraints and gag held her in place. "By the way Yasha, baby; if you make one wrong move, she dies."

Inuyasha bared his teeth, "Don't you dare-" In one quick motion, Kagome sliced Kikyo's neck. "I said one wrong move. You don't listen well, do you? Though you never were the sharpest crayon in the box." While she mocked him, Inuyasha's eyes bled red. Kagome took off into the forest. 'Knew that would work. It's going all according to plan and now I've got my whole soul." Kagome smiled to herself.

Executioner style, and there won't be no trial

Inuyasha lost all of his senses while he chased Kagome. Suddenly there was a snap and a wave of knives hurled their way towards him. She had set traps all around the forest knowing he wasn't smart enough to catch them in time. "Oh Yasha, you should be careful. There are a lot of predators in this forest."

Don't you know that you're better off dead

After only a few minutes, Inuyasha had managed to trip almost every trap. There were gaping holes all over his body, bleeding out. One last knife and his body gave out. As he lay on the forest floor, Kagome walked over to him. "I thought you'd at least put up a fight. Guess you'll taking this lying down then." Kagome laughed to herself.

All I see is red, red, oh red

Kagome had seemed to gain an affinity for knives since she changed. They allowed her to have more control. Where was the fun in a gun? She pulled one from what seemed like thin air. Crouching beside him Kagome spoke, "You know, I don't really fancy you anymore, but those ears are just to die for, aren't they?" She leaned forward and painfully cut the fuzzy little ears atop his head, off. Piercing them with a needle, she put them on a chain. Inuyasha stared in horror and the life died from his eyes.

Now all I see is red, red

"Now I have something to remind me of you forever. Love you, my one and only hero, Inuyasha." Kagome stood silently and walked into the forest, leaving on a trail of bloody footsteps.
