Marinette shifted and opened her eyes, not realising where she was. Her bed felt different, warm and it was "breathing." She looked down at their hands clasped together and the events of the night before came rushing back.

Shitshitshit, his hands, no gloves, his Miraculous. Don't look, he's asleep, wake him up.

She reached her hand up to his face, gently touching the side of his eye where the mask should be and heard a low comfortable moan.

"Chat," Marinette stroked his face gently, "you need to wake up and change."

"Hmm...mmmm."

"Chat!" This time Marinette had haste in her voice."

"Mmmmm"

The gentle approach wasn't working, so she poked him in what she was hoping was his cheek.

"Ahh"

That was his eye.

"Chat you need to change back."

"Ow-huh-what?"

He looked around pinned to the seat under Marinette. He snuggled her into him and smiled into her hair.

"Chat?" Marinette's eyes widened at the tightening arms around her, she couldn't help but notice his muscles were just as prominent now as when he was in his Chat attire. "What if I realise who you are?"

"You won't," he whispered in her hair with a smile, "You don't know this side of me yet."

"Oh!" Marinette closes her eyes and sank back into his shoulder. "Are you comfy?"

"Very," he closed his eyes also. "I trust you, I want to watch the sunrise with my Mari, then I'll go."

"Ok," she replied sleepily to his words.

They slept for a few more hours, and woke just as the sun rose above Paris. Chat left and wished Marinette luck in hearing from Agreste. Already knowing she would be called in later that day, and was going to make it his mission for her to get to know Agreste Junior.

Being very thankful that it had not gone any further last night, Marinette grabbed some paracetamol. She was cursing her period coming today, of all days, as she knew how emotional this time of the month could be for her. The only bright side of it coming now was knowing it would only be for a few days.

"You'll be fine Marinette!" Tikki hovered next to her wearer as she brushed her teeth. "You don't even know what time they'll be ringing you."

Spit.

"That's true Tikki-"

*Buzz buzz*

Marinette's phone was ringing from in her bedroom, it was only eight in the morning! Marinette rushed for her phone and tripped in haste.

*Buzz buzz*

"It's a good job you're awake Marin-" Tikki started but could not finish as Marinette silenced her by raising her hand in a flap.

"Hello," Marinette answered, trying to keep cool and calm when answering the unknown number calling her mobile.

"Miss Dupain-Cheng, I am calling from the house of Agreste-" Marinette was struggling to contain her excitement, bobbing on the spot.

Holy crap ohmygod... keep it cool...*internal screaming*.

"-Mr Agreste would like you to report to his home address, which will be sent by text message, no later than nine o'clock-"

Thank fuck I'm up early! Shit! What am I going to wear?!

"-Please bring your portfolio, along with your identification and credentials." The female voice paused, "do you have any questions?"

"No, thank you." So many questions were running through her head but she figured the chance would present itself at some point.

"When you arrive, please ring the intercom and we will let you in. Everything else will be discussed when you arrive. Goodbye.

The line went dead.

"Oh," although the exchange had been pleasant, it had ended rather abruptly for Marinette's liking. She wasn't sure on how to take the exchange between herself and the person on the other end of the phone.

"Everything ok Marinette?" Tikki enquired, hovering next to her wearers face.

"Yes-Yes!" The second yes having much more enthusiasm to it, Marinette set out to find the perfect outfit, while Tikki watched her. Contemplating how to address last nights events, Tikki pondered whether or not to talk about it at all.

Marinette could feel her Kwami edging closer.

"Tikki, I can feel you looking at me." Marinette's tone was casual, but Tikki knew Marinette's eyes rolled as she spoke.

"Marinette," Tikki began, "how do you think Chat would feel if he knew he was fulfilling both aspects of a boyfriend to you."

"What?!" Marinette span round to look at her Kwami.

"How do you think he would feel?" Asking her again, the direct nature of the question had caught Marinette off guard.

"He's not...is he?" Marinette's brow furrowed in thought. "Shit."

The penny dropped.

"He's the companion to you, and you have feelings for each other." Tikki was concerned. "Yet you use him when you're Ladybug to satisfy your sexual urges."

"There is two sides to it Tikki," Marinette shot back. "If you think like that then he's continuing with two girls!"

"Do not make excuses Marinette!" Tikki was very disappointed in her wearer. "How do you feel about Chat?"

"I couldn't have a relationship with Chat though Tikki...there's no point in thinking about how I feel about him...in either forms." Suddenly filled with disappointment in herself, Marinette was quiet when speaking. "I'm not being fair to him." She started to get dressed slowly, after piecing a professional outfit together.

"Marinette, even if you don't want to think about it, you are in TWO relationships with him! you really need to have a think about the situation at hand." Hovering closer to her wearer, she continued "you need to talk to him."

Marinette knew Tikki was right. She did not want to lose Chat in either aspects though, but that was very selfish on her part, this did not sit right with her. Although the conversation would have to be had eventually, Marinette did not have time to think about it now. Slipping on white cropped trousers and a pink cotton shirt, she finished the look by putting her hair in a sleek bun at her nape and white kitten heels. Grabbing her satchel with the items she required within, Tikki zipped into a side pocket next to a stash of macaroons.

"Best tell my parents the good news!" She smiled widely as she made her way down to the bakery.
