Izuku had barely woken up, he had gone to sleep early since today was a big day for him and Ochako. He was already feeling very excited but nervous. But he still managed to change into his school clothes and get his backpack on along with a pair of workout clothes in his bag.
Inko had made him the best breakfast she could, Gordon Ramsey would be proud. Izuku downed the whole thing in under a minute and almost choked with how fast he was eating the food. He was ready.
As he was about to leave, his mom stopped him at the door and handed him a box lunch."It's for Uraraka, don't eat it Izuku." the short lady told Izuku.
"Got it mom." he said back with a smile.
"Good luck Izuku, you got this, I believe in you!" Inko said motivating her son with the brightest smile Izuku had ever seen with tears threatening to escape the corners of her eyes.
"Thanks mom, I'll do my best I promise." Izuku said, very determined to his mother. "I'll see you later mom!" He said as he walked outside.
"Bye! Do your best!" Inko said before he left. She had a very shaky smile now and the dam in her eyes finally broke, her Izuku was going to be a hero and NOTHING was going to stop him.

Izuku had arrived at Ochako's apartment and was about to knock on the door when Ochako opened it to show she was wearing a black skirt along with long black stockings, along with a big brown coat and a pink scarf.
"Hey Izuku-kun! You ready for the entrance exam?!" Ochako said with her usual bubbly mood. Though Izuku noticed something was wrong.
Over the months he learned to use his earth powers to send vibrations throughout the ground to guess enemy movements, giving him a sort of seismic sense. Along with that if a person near him was touching the ground he could feel their heartbeat and tell if they were lying or not, or how they were feeling.
"Uraraka-san, what's wrong?" Izuku asked, grabbing her shoulders loosely as to not hurt her.
"I'm fine Izuku-kun." She said trying to brush off his worries.
Izuku was taken aback, he knew that it was probably something to do with the entrance exam, as he himself was nervous as hell. Izuku had gotten better with interacting with people because of Momo and Ochako but he didn't know how to deal with something like this.
He never had to deal with something like this before so he just did what felt right.
"Izuku! Wh-What are you doing!"
"I'm g-giving you a h-hug…...you seemed like you could use one…." Izuku told the girl in a low voice, a bit of his old stuttering coming back.
Ochako embraced the hug and a fountain sprouted from her eyes, "What if I don't make it into UA!" she said sobs between each word.
"You will." Izuku said in the low voice from earlier.
"H-How do y-you know that…." Ochako etched deeper into Izuku's chest, holding onto him as hard as she could.
Izuku pulled back a bit, still having her wrapped in his arms, he looked at her and smiled. "We've been training together for months Ochako." she flinched as he said her first name without the honorific.. "I know that no matter what you'll pass the entrance exam, now come we don't wanna be late." he finished off with another bright smile.
"O-ok, Izuku." it only seemed right she say his name back, she locked the door to her apartment and the pair walked off.
It was a very quiet walk to the entrance of UA but much enjoyed. The silence had a sense of warmth to it and they both got on the train, Izuku insisted he pay for both tickets as Ochako had mentioned she didn't have the most cash at some point in the past.
They found spaces to sit and graciously took the seats, as today would be hard to find a seat because of the entrance exam. There would be a lot of people around their age taking the bus.
"Hey Izuku?" Ochako looked up to her friend. "It's ok if I call you Izuku, right?" she looked at her friend.
"Y-Yeah, but I'd actually been meaning to ask you about that, why'd you start calling me Izuku?" He was really curious as to why his friend had called him by his first name, as that was usually reserved for family members and lovers.
"Well, I feel better when I call you Izuku, I thought it'd be ok with you, I'll stop if yo-"
"No, it's fine!" Izuku jumped in. "It just catches me off guard is all." Izuku said, rubbing the back of his neck. He was honestly really embarrassed by the whole thing but if she felt better that way then it was fine with him.
"Can you c-call me Ochako then?" Ochako asked as she looked at him.
He looked like he was about to explode but still managed to get out a couple of words, "Sure, Ochako-san…."
"W-without the honorific…." He exploded, she broke him, he'll never recover….
"A-A-Alri-ght, O-Ochako…." Izuku looked like a full on tomato right now, and Ochako matched him.
And while on the outside Ochako looked very happy on the inside, 'Ahhhhh, I can't believe I did this without Momo, she's gonna be so mad when she finds out….unless….' she looked towards her friend again. "Hey Izuku?"
"Y-Yeah Ur- Ochako?" Izuku said, covering up his mistake.
"Can you call Yaoyorozu by her first name too, please?" Ochako asked, she thought it'd only be fair to Yaoyorozu since she found out that they both had a crush on Izuku.
"Y-Yeah, I can do that!" Izuku was so confused as to why he had to call Momo by her first name but decided not to ask right now as they were fast approaching UA.

They both stood in the shining gates of UA University, the college that creates pro heroes.
They were about to take a step as they heard someone yell out from behind them.
"The hell outta my way Deku!" An all too familiar voice and an all too familiar face
Izuku turned to face Bakugo and their shoulders clashed as he walked past him. Ochako could feel the tension between them as Bakugo was there, and she left it disperse as the spiky blonde left.
"Deku?" Ochako asked as her hand tugged at Izuku's sleeve.
"It means good for nothing, useless, worthless…." Izuku said looking down, his excitement about being at UA now gone.
"It's very close to dekiru though no? That means 'can do it' so I kind of like it!" Ochako said with a smile
"Guess I'm Deku then?" Izuku asked with a quirked eyebrow.
"Maybe, sounds like a cool hero name, but I still wanna call you Izuku." she said with her hands behind her back.
"Hmm alright then…." He was scratching the side of his cheek again. "So….why don't we get going Ochako?!" He said with a smirk as his previous excitement had returned.
"Alright, let's go Izuku!" Ochako said back with a smile

The two had sat through the presentation and so far it was presented that there were three robots that were worth 1, 2, and 3 points respectively. However Izuku was confused as the pamphlet they received said that there were 4 robots. And a very robot moving boy with square looking glasses raised his hand.
"Sir, the pamphlet says there are four robots, if this is a typo, UA should be ashamed of their mistake as a prestigious school!" the robot boy said he then pointed to Izuku who was currently mumbling. "And you, stop your noise, it is very annoying for the ones who are trying to listen!"
"S-Sorry…" Izuku responded, Ochako was about to say something but Izuku looked at her and gave her a smile that told her everything was ok.
"I was just about to get to that!" The announcer and pro hero Present Mic said. His outfit consisted of leather boots, black skinny jeans, a leather belt, a black leather jacket, headphones, a sweet orange pair of shades, a speaker around his neck, and very very very gelled hair that seemed to defy gravity.
"The fourth robot is the most powerful and is worth absolutely zero points!" He said, fingers striking the air. "It's more of an obstacle to get around."
"Ah, I see thank you." The robot boy then sat back down.
"Now, if you look at your cards you'll have a letter, this letter determines what testing area you'll be heading too!"
Izuku and Ochako both checked their cards, revealing that they were in different testing areas, Izuku being in testing area B and Ochako in A.
"This must be to prevent us from working with friends." Izuku said as he looked at Ochako.
'Friends' Ochako thought, the word somehow stung a bit. She was going to open her mouth to give Izuku some encouragement but he beat her to it.
"But you don't need to work with me to do amazing, you'll do that all on your own!" The smile he gave her almost blinded her.
"You'll do amazing too Izuku." she told him as they stood up and headed to their respective changing rooms exchanging goodbyes as they left the main campus of UA, each heading to their own testing grounds.

With all the training that he had gotten about being a pro and things to expect from both All Might and Momo, Izuku guessed that they'd probably start the test without a countdown, so he caught his breath and walked to the front of the crowd pushing even the robot out of his way.
'One For All: Full Cowling 7%' the power sprung forth from Izuku and instead of all the elements, Izuku restricted himself to one, Lightning, the element of speed.
The robot boy walked up to Izuku. "Excuse me, what do you-"
"START, VILLAINS WON'T WAIT FOR YOU!" the doors had opened and Izuku had rushed through, moving not as fast as lightning but still pretty fast, He left all of his fellow participants in the dust as he ran in.
Izuku noticed two 1 pointers and he closed in on them, amplifying his speed with lightning and with the strength of One For All he jumped over the two and then crushed the robots, getting two points.
Izuku saw the other examinees finally cross the gate and he simply rushed further, reaching three 2 pointers. He slid under one and drove his fist through its heart and then threw it at one of the others and rushed the final one tearing through it like tissue paper.
Izuku ran around finding other examinees having trouble with two three pointers and so he stepped in using his earth to make a shield for someone and then rushing in and taking out the other one. Izuku turned and smiled at the two and asked if they were ok and the two nodded as Izuku ran off.
It'd been around six minutes and Izuku had scored around forty-five points, he really enjoyed the feeling of adrenaline he had.
Izuku had reached a pair of 2 pointers and he took them out reaching forty-nine points, he took a minute to use his seismic sense to look for people but didn't find anything.
He ran for another two minutes around looking for either more bots or seeing if anyone needed help. He found a boy speaking french that had a stomach ache surrounded by three 1 pointers, so he ran in and assisted helping the boy to his feet and then ran off to look for more bots..
He now had about fifty-seven points by his calculations. He tried using his seismic to locate anything or anyone else. He felt something this time.
He turned to see a giant robot, towering over all the buildings in the fake city where the test took place. It moved using huge wheels that could easily roll over Izuku, along with giant arms that cracked the buildings it held onto, and a giant head with eight lights that were no doubt its eyes.
Izuku saw that many people were running away from the robotic monstrosity. Even the robotic moving boy from earlier ran past him and seemed to look at Izuku also. Izuku was about to join them when he saw someone standing in the path of the robot.
It seemed to be a girl with dark purple hair wearing a black jeans, a pink shirt and a black leather jacket with what seemed to be audio jacks protruding from her ears. She was paralyzed with fear, no doubt.
"Oh, fuck it!" Izuku yelled as he ran to the girl. The robot boy noticed and followed him.
"What do you think you're doing?!" The taller boy asked Izuku.
"Being a hero, isn't that what this is for?!" Izuku yelled, this shocked the boy and before he knew it they reached the girl. "Well what's your plan now!" The boy asked.
Izuku shook the girl, bringing her to her senses as she finally realized that the robot was nearing. Izuku picked her up which shocked the girl and handed her to the boy that accompanied him and told him to run. And the boy did just that.
However, there was no way that the boy could escape the robot now, the robot was too close to the three of them and they were all very tired. Izuku knew what he had to do. He had to take down the zero pointer.
"One For All: Full Cowling 7%!" Izuku got into a squatting stance as he stared down the bot. He knew that he couldn't use his metal powers, he wouldn't be able to use it on this scale. He could invade the bot with water and try to freeze it but he doubted that he could turn the necessary amount of water into ice. And it would probably roll straight through whatever he created with the concrete around him. He had one attack he could use.
Izuku placed both of his hands together leaving his palms open. He used Full Cowling to amplify the creation of fire and soon it was all around him, reminding the boy of the sludge incident. 'Alright, so far….so good…' Izuku thought to himself. He then concentrated all the fire around him into the one point in his palms that created a small red orb that was burning, but not with heat.
The orb was filled with emotion, however not positive ones. All the grief, depression, and rage Izuku had felt over the years was put into this attack.
'Fire the element of emotion, uncontrollable fury, unbending will, the power to overcome endeavors with what's the heart. The power to incinerate any and all obstacles that come in life.'A strange voice said in Izuku's head, however only one word stood out. Incinerate…..
'incinerate…...Incinerate…..INCINERATE' The word was all that Izuku could think of now, and the only other thing that had his attention was the titan of metal that stood in front of him that was rapidly approaching.
Izuku grit his teeth as the orb in his palms met it's max heat. "INCINERATE! GO TO HELL!" Izuku yelled as a glorious light blasted through his palms and burned right through the hunk of metal. Now leaving him drained and barely standing, he didn't have Full Cowling activated anymore and he felt his arms burning.
The robot boy and the girl had looked at Izuku's feat and were in astonishment and shock. Who knew that this boy could obliterate a zero pointer? And who knew that he could get so mad?
Izuku was panting like crazy, he was seriously burning up, the old Izuku at the beginning of training would've passed out right about now, but Izuku had been experimenting and found a way around the overuse of a power, using another to counteract it.
Izuku, with the remaining energy he had surrounded his arms with water and had managed to turn them into ice keeping them cool and now restoring to their state before that insane attack.
'Yeah, I can pass out now…' Izuku said as he fell onto the ground.
The two people he had saved ran over to help Izuku as the bell signaling the end of the exam rang. The two checked Izuku and found that he was still breathing. The boy quickly called for help and as if right on cue an old lady showed up.
She walked over to Izuku kissed on the forehead, gave him some gummies and walked off to go look for any other participants that needed help.
"That's the pro hero: Recovery Girl, very magnific!" A boy that Izuku had previously saved earlier said to seemingly no one.
The robot boy helped Izuku to his feet as he regained consciousness. He was met with murmurs from the crowd, people looking wide eyed at him, and the two that he saved.
"That was amazing, did you find out the true meaning of this test and go save that girl to score extra points!" The taller boy said, "By the way, my name is Iida Tenya!"
"Not gonna lie, that was pretty cool Green, the name's Kyoka Jirou."
Izuku first answered the boy's question. "No, it just felt like the right thing to do, someone was in trouble, I just had to help." Iida then looked at Izuku in more wonder. "And my name is Izuku Midoriya, would you two wanna walk out with me, I gotta go meet someone."
"Of course!" Iida said.
"I don't have anything better to do, so why not." Jirou said.
The trio walked out of the stadium and each went to the changing rooms and then they finally met back up outside the front of UA. Izuku stopped the walk and just kept looking around. Confusing the other two that were there with him.
"Say Midoriya, it looks like you're searching for someone." Iida said to the boy.
"That's because I am" , Izuku said as he began to float in the air.
"Hey Izuku!" The girl that caused the flotation said with a grin on her face. Causing the other two there to flinch as Izuku was the boy's first name.
"Oh, you think this is funny?" Izuku asked, looking at the girl.
"Nope, it's hilarious!" was the response he got, along with the girl laughing in his face.
Ochako let him down and Izuku introduced his new friends from the exam.
"This is Jirou-san and that's Iida-san." Izuku introduced the two.
"Alright, my name's Ochako Uraraka!" the bubbly girl answered. "It's very nice to meet you!" she added, giving a nice smile. She seemed very happy, so Izuku presumed that she did very well, his seismic sense told him that he wasn't lying.
"All the same." Iida said, repeatedly karate chopping the air as she spoke.
"Me too." was Jirou's response, grinning Ochako a small grin.
"Say, Izuku?" Jirou and Iida had heard it again, she was calling the broccoli boy by his first name, they did seem to be good friends but maybe they were more?
"Yeah, Ura- Ochako…." He called her by her first name as well!
"Momo said she wanted to go to the mall, do you mind if they tag along?" Ochako asked as she looked at Izuku's new friends.
The both looked confused as they had barely just met and all.
"Of course! If we're going to become peers then we might as well get to know each other, right?"
"What a smart idea Midoriya, yes, let's go to the mall!" Iida said as he chopped his arm in the air back to his robotic actions.
There the group had some fun, went to a couple arcades and got some food. When everyone left they exchanged numbers so they could keep in touch. Izuku said how he didn't think he did that well in the exam to which Iida and Jirou quickly shot down.
All in all, he had a lot of fun, and these people were potentially gonna be his classmates? Maybe this school year would be a little fun. But then there's Bakugo to worry about too.

It'd been just over a week since the entrance exam, and Izuku still hadn't gotten his letter. But neither had any of his friends so there was probably nothing to worry about. As he was pondering why the letters were taking so long he heard a ping come from his phone
Ochako: GUYS I GOT MY LETTERRRR
Momo: Me too, where do you wannna meet up?
Kyoka: I got mine and wherever you guys wanna
Tenya: since we cant decide Izuku you suggest
Izuku: well i havent gotten my letter but i suggest dagobah beach
Ochako: YEAH ALRIGHT BE THERE IN A BIT
Momo: See you
Kyoka: Peace
Tenya: i'll run over right now
Izuku hadn't gotten his letter and was starting to get worried, but he did have to meet them so he got up from his chai-
"Izuku, it's here!" Inko said as she barged into the room.
Izuku's face beamed at the piece of paper that had the UA insignia on it. He took it from his mother's hand and gave her a hug and then put his shoes on.
"I'm gonna go see my friends, we're gonna look at the result together!" Izuku said, very happy, tears threatening to escape the corners of his eyes.
"Alright honey, and remember, no matter what happens I'll be proud of you." Inko said, giving her son a very tear filled smile.
Izuku got and said only six words back. "I know mom, I'll see you." he left the apartment heading to the beach and not to his surprise Iida was already there.
"Hello there, Midoriya!" the robot boy said as he waved and walked towards him revealing Momo behind him.
"Hey Iida, Momo!" This caused said girl to blush, he had said her first name when they went to the mall, but she still was not used to it, Ochako revealed over text that this was her doing and Momo wasn't sure if she should be grateful or pissed at Ochako.
"H-Hi" was the response he got from Momo.
"Have you guys opened your letters yet?" Izuku asked the both of them and they both said a variant of no.
Just then both Ochako and Jirou arrived, Izuku suggested the group sit on the coast as it was relaxing and they were gonna do that but then Izuku made chairs, that works too.
They all took the seats that Izuku made and while they were more comfortable than they were at the beginning of his training they were still uncomfortable.
"So who's gonna go first?" Ochako asked giggles in her voice.
"I'm not su-" Izuku was cut off
"Nose goes!" Ochako yelled, putting her finger on her nose. And everyone else followed besides Momo and Izuku. And Momo didn't have a letter since she was a recommendation student.
"Well looks like you go green." Kyoka said with a smirk and a smug tone.
Izuku sighed and opened up his letter revealing a small metal disc. He took the disc out and held it in his hands and from it a hologram of All Might appeared.
"I AM HERE as a hologram!" the miniature All Might yelled
"You Young Midoriya showed great skill in the test obtaining a total of 57 villain points putting you in second place!" All Might showed a scoreboard revealing that Bakugo was first which slightly irritated Izuku.
"However, what hero school would we be if we didn't commend the examinees for their heroic actions! This is why we have RESCUE POINTS!" Another scoreboard showed up revealing that Izuku was in first place on the rescue points scoreboard, behind him someone named Ejiro Kirishima.
"You Izuku Midoriya have earned 80 rescue points, you constantly helped your fellow examinees and took down a zero pointer, leading to you taking first place in this entrance exam, now I welcome you to your Hero Academia…"

I had a lot of fun with this chapter, showing some of Izuku's powers and the fact that his fire affects him, that might come back.
I had a lot of fun and I hope you guys like it. It is longer than all the other chapters so far so I hope the writing didn't drop cause of it.
