"I can't wait for Halloween! I've been working so hard on my costume!" Toru exclaimed.

"I'm going as a witch this year!" Ochaco announced proudly.

"I got my Crimson Riot costume ready to go!" Eijiro grinned.

"Isn't that just your hero costume?" Katsuki pointed out as he threw his bag over his shoulder.

"No! I just drew some inspiration from him!" He flushed.

Ryoko giggled as she walked out of classroom with her friends. "Halloween sounds like so much fun." She commented.

"It's tons of fun! You get to dress up in cool costumes! Hang out with friends and eat tons of candy!" Mina cheered.

Tenya fixed his glasses. "Just remember to properly brush your teeth afterwards."

"I'm guessing your costume is a wet blanket." Sero sighed.

"No! I'll be a Frankenstein this year!"

Izuku watched Ryoko as she walked with her fingertips together, her usual sign of deep thought. "Ryoko, could this be your first Halloween?" He asked.

Everyone halted and turned in anticipation of her response. Her usually white scales flushed pink. "W-well... it's not like I didn't' celebrate it... my family and I would watch scary movies together... and my grandmother loves carving pumpkins! I just didn't get to go trick or treating." She admitted. "Or dress in costume... or hang out with friends."

"How terrible! You poor thing! Deprived of such a cornerstone of youth!" Tenya lamented.

"I didn't trick or treat." Shoto added.

Momo sighed. "Yeah but I think people are a little less empathetic to you."

Fukimage stopped in front of the community board. "Why don't we do a Halloween event together then? There's a haunted forest this year that could be fun."

Ochaco grinned. "That's perfect! We could all dress up and go together! Like a giant haunted house!" She gripped her friend's hands in hers.

"I'll start the group chat for everyone who wants to go!" Denki held up his phone.

"Whoa, this is so exciting!" Ryoko smiled. "I guess I need to go find a costume then! What do people normally wear?" She asked.

"Whatever they aren't allowed to wear for the rest of the year." The girls crowded around her.

"I'm going as a cat!" Mina offered.

"Countess" Momo smiled.

"Also a witch." Tsu added.

Ryoko pondered. "Those sound so cool..."

"Most people either try to be cute or really scary!" Sero interrupted.

"It's acceptable to be scary for Halloween?" She asked. "I could do that!"

The whole class paused at the thought of shy little Ryoko trying to scary someone. "She would definitely start crying and apologize." The same though went through everyone's head.

"I could do it! My mom was the top villainess after all! I'm sure I inherited some of that scariness from her!" She argued once she read the mood. "Just watch! I'll be so scary that even Katsuki will admit defeat."

The whole class turned to him as he gave a cocky laugh. "If you're going to come at me then you better throw everything you've got, otherwise I'll blow you out of the water." He challenged.

Silence hung in the air and Denki held up his phone. "So who's going? I'll start a chat!" He broke the mood.

Izuku focused back on Ryoko to see her eyes brimming with determination. "I'll put together a super scary costume and double my training with Mom!" She cheered, giving herself a little fist bump.

"You're really excited about this aren't you?" Ochoa asked.

The white scaled girl nodded. "Of course! Katsuki beat me in the sports festival but I'm sure I can conquer him now!" She grinned. Then her expression faltered. "But what if I'm too scary and no one wants to be friends with me anymore? Or if my costume is terrible and everyone laughs?" She mopped in a corner.

"Don't say that! You need to keep up a hero's attitude!" Ochaco assured.

"I'm sure even if you don't scare Katsuki you could get a couple other people in our class." Tsu commented. "Denki doesn't seem that difficult."

"No matter what you decided you'll do a great job, and have fun with everyone." Izuku found himself saying.

Their words helped coax her from the slump. "As long as I do my best then everything will work out!" She cheered.

Halloween Night:

The entirety of class 1-A met at the base of the wooded mountain not far from the entrance to the haunted woods. Katsuki proudly strutted in his wolf costume while Eijiro made a last minute change to mummy. Shoto fixed his vampire fangs to make sure they didn't fall out. Mina took selfies with a devil Denki and both giggled at the results. "Where is everyone else?" Tenya asked fully dressed as Frankenstein.

"It's booked by groups so we're the only ones for this time slot since we have so many people." Fukimage explained from beneath his mage cloak.

Izuku looked around. Almost everyone had arrived save for Ryoko. "She seemed the most pumped for this and is usually early." He began to worry.

"Maybe her costume is so elaborate that she's running a little late!" Ochaco offered.

"Or maybe she didn't find a scary one and is embarrassed." Tsu countered.

Behind the group on the very edge of the woods a bush rustled. "Is this part of the haunted forest?" Denki asked.

Then a flash of white shot out from the bush with a loud "Boo!" Emerging from the leaves was none other than Ryoko, wearing her take on a ghost costume comprised of a flowing veil with a chibi ghost face. a ruffled white Lolita dress cover in more happy ghosts and matching white umbrella. She smiled at her friends, adjusting her glasses. "I did it! I was spooky!" She cheered as her white pigtails bobbed.

Everyone stared at her in silence until Katsuki started laughing. "You thought that was a scary costume? You look like a kid's cartoon!" He clutched his sides. Others could not suppress their laughter as Ryoko flushed pink.

"Ghosts are supposed to be scary!" She flushed which only made him laugh harder. "Well your costume isn't very scary either!" Then her eyes fell. "Even if it does look really cool..."

"Don't insult someone just to compliment them..." Her friends thought.

He took a break and stood over her. "I don't need a costume to scare you." He reminded then held up his fingers, threatening to pinch her cheek scales.

"Eep!" She covered her face with her hands.

"See? I told you that you can't beat me." He grinned.

Tenya inserted himself between them. "Since everyone is here, why don't we get started?" He pointed to the beginning of the haunted forest.

"Maybe we'll get some real scares in there." Katsuki taunted as he walked away towards the exit.

Ryoko pulled her hands down and her shoulders sagged. "I made him laugh at me..." She sulked.

"It's okay! Katsuki is pretty hard to shake." Izuku assured her. "I doubt anything in there will throw him off either." He pointed to the forest.

She continued to sulk as they walked. "On the bright side your costume looks really cute!" Ochaco smiled.

"It matches with Izuku's." Tsu agreed. "Like a couple's."

"Eh?!" Ryoko and Izuku blushed. They exchanged looks as the pieces fell into place. "It wasn't intentional!" They said at the same time.

"Aw! You guys are already so in sync." Kyoka teased.

Eijiro walked next to Katsuki glancing back at his friends. "Man, I should have gone as a ghost..." He sighed. Then he became aware of an overwhelming hostile presence radiating from Katsuki. "Oh he's beyond jealous." He thought to himself.

"Alright everyone! Group up and behave! We're representing 1-A here!" Tenya declared.

"It's a haunted house not a school tour." A couple of students grumbled.

A shaggy hermit stood in the middle of the path with his hood covering all features. "Remember to stay to the path and beware her lantern's light, many who have been tempted by it have never returned." His raspy voice echoed. Then he stepped aside and allowed the group to pass.

As the class walked away from the city the light grew fainter save for the small lamps along the trail. Massive spider webs hung over head as the sounds of an owl could be heard in the distance. "I didn't think it would be this dark." Ochaco fidgeted.

"Don't worry, it's just a standard thrill tour. Nothing can hurt you." Tenya assured. On cue a fake skeleton flew over the class causing a few students to jump.

"Boring." Katsuki walked forward.

"Hey what did that guy mean by Beware her light?" Toga asked.

"Maybe its one of the exhibits." Momo offered.

"I know that story." Ryoko answered. Everyone stopped to stared at her causing all her scales to flush pink. "W-well it's a g-ghost story my grandmother used to tell..." She tapped her fingers together nervously.

"Do you feel like sharing?" Eijiro asked. "N-not that we're scared! Just, you know, best be prepared!"

"According to local legend a long time ago a Shine Maiden preformed a ritual of guidance for wayward spirits. Every night she would carry her lantern to the top of the mountain to the altar of the Shrine so they could pass to the other side." Fukimage started. "But one night there was a severe wind storm that caused her lantern break against a tree and the oil to soak her clothes. Some of the sparks ignited a blaze that consumed her. The temple priest found her body the next afternoon, half of it burned beyond recognition. They buried her at the top of the mountain beneath the altar she cared for. But without the Shrine Maiden's light the spirits became lost on the mountain, doomed to wander for eternity." Dark Shadow mimicked a ghost behind him. "Some say she appears on the mountain to guide the spirits to sanctuary, regardless if their living or dead. If you fear her then you'll see her horribly burned face but if you accept her she'll have the face when she was alive. But that was just a child's ghost story." He looked at his classmates who were mortified.

"It's just a ghost story right?" Mina demanded.

"How attractive was this Shrine Maiden?" Mineta asked. Tsu slapped him with her tongue.

"It doesn't sounds outside the realm of possibility." Shoto replied.

"You're really not helping." Momo sighed.

"What kind of hero's get scared by a fairy tale?" Katsuki growled. "If you can't even get through this then good luck against any serious villains."

Everyone swallowed their fear. "That's right! It's just a story after all! Nothing to be afraid of!" Izuku said.

"But what if the Lantern Lady thinks you're a lost ghost since you two are dressed like that?" Tsu asked.

Ryoko and Izuku both grew pale. Fukimage came over to join them. "Don't worry, Dark Shadow has an advantage in the night, and I won't let anything happen to my friends." He promised as Dark Shadow materialized and gave them a thumbs up.

"Thanks Fukimage."

Class 1-A continued up the stairs to the mount passing by a worn Buddha statue on the way. Ryoko paused a the statue and stiffened. Izuku stopped and turned back along with Fukimage. "Is everything alright?" He asked.

She clutched her umbrella tighter. "D-do you hear s-shrine bells?" She stammered.

"Shrine bells?" He looked back to their classmates to see if anyone else heard something. "No I don't hear anything." When he turned back he saw the white umbrella fall to the ground. "Ryoko?" He searched for any sign of her with no success.

"Ryoko!" Fukimage shouted running down the stairs to where she had previously been standing.

His heart started to pound in his chest as he followed suit. "Ryoko!" He called into the dark forest.

"What's going on? Where's Ryoko?" Ochaco asked in a trembling voice.

Tenya hurried to the umbrella and checked the surrounding ground. "There are no footprints! It's like she disappeared!" He said.

"Ridiculous! People don't just vanish!" Katsuki argued as his eyes scanned the woods. "You Goddamn Gecko get out here!" He shouted. His voice echoed through the darkness with no answer.

"Did the Lantern Lady get her?" Toga grabbed onto Mezo.

"Katsuki..." Shoto called. "The man from the training camp could so something like this, and if he's here she's in trouble."

The memory of Compress burned in his mind. "I'm going to get her." Then he blasted over the tops of the trees to get a vantage point.

"Wait Katsuki!" Shoto shouted but it was too late, the blond had already disappeared into woods. "We can't just run off without a plan!" He swore.

Momo unbuttoned the top of her dress and produced several walkie talkies. "We're going to divide into several groups- one to get help and two search parties to bring Katsuki and Ryoko back. Mezo you'll be in one rescue group and Kyoka in the other. If you hear anything radio it in and we'll coordinate a met up. Shoto and Izuku should each be in one of the groups since they have powerhouse Quirks- but otherwise if anyone wants to join they need to be prepared to fight." Momo tossed Izuku and Shoto a radio. "Any defensive fighters should stick with the main group. We don't need to win a fight, just survive it."

Izuku clutched the radio as he thought about the last expression Ryoko had when she heard the phantom bells. "We'll definitely find you!" He promised.

Rescue Group One: Mezo, Shoto, Mashirao, and Tsu.

"I'm not hearing her, or anything for that matter." Mezo commented.

"Is it normal to be this quiet?" Mashirao asked.

"Maybe they have a sound nullifying Quirk, after all they were able to sneak up on the whole class." Tsu suggested.

"But that wouldn't account for her just vanishing, they would need to be physically strong to snag her then vanish." Shoto replied. The lack of sound unsettled him as the air seemed to grow heavy. "Everyone stay together, we don't know how many people are out there."

As the small group walked between the trees a sense of dread crept over them. Save for their footsteps there were no other signs of life. The sound of a twig snapping beneath one of their feet sent a jolt through the group. "Maybe we should radio the other group... just to check in?" Mashirao offered.

From the dark woods a giggle echoed. Everyone froze and stared at the source of the noise. "Ryoko?" Tsu asked.

The giggling grew louder as two lights rapidly approached the group. Shoto readied his quirk as two skeletal figures burst forward into the night sky. "Spirits?" Mashirao said. No sooner had the words been spoken then he just vanished into the shadows.

"Mashirao!" Mezo yelled. Overhead the ghosts circled them with the giggling grew louder.

Shoto sent out a pillar of fire that the ghosts easily dodged then created an ice wall. "Fall back!" He instructed. The group ran to regroup and all around them floating lanterns ignited. Shoto sent more flames and ice forward but they froze in the air. A young woman wearing a miko uniform stepped forward carrying a lantern on her staff. But this was overshadowed horrible burns on half her body as long black hair hid the rest of her face away.

"The Lantern Lady!" Shoto cursed. "Get ready to-" He turned back to see that he was all alone, the ghosts and his friends had disappeared.

"It's okay, they're safe now." A petite feminine voice told him. When he spun around he found himself face to face with the Lantern Lady. "And you will be too, I promise." She smiled. One of her hands rested on the left side of his face gently caressing him.

His body froze underneath her touch. No matter how hard he struggled it refused to move. "Is she using a spell on me?" He wondered.

She lowered her hand to place it over his heart. "Are you scared of me?" She asked.

His eyes locked onto hers and a strange sense of calm came over him. "No..." He answered then gave small smile. "Because it's you."

She returned the smile and tilted her head, showing him her true face. "You're the first to come willingly." She tapped the staff on the ground and the lanterns around them extinguished, plunging them into darkness.

Rescue Team 2: Kyoka, Izuku, Ochaco, Tenya, and Fumikage

The group marched through the woods, hoping to find their friend. Every so often Kyoka would plug into one of the trees to check for sounds of footsteps. "I can't even hear Katsuki's explosions anymore." Ochaco said.

"This silence is a little, unnatural." Tenya added. "Did you guys notice anything before Ryoko disappeared?"

"She said she heard Shrine Bells. Then I looked away and she was gone." Izuku said.

"Did the ghost get her?" Ochaco asked. "How would we get her back?"

Fukimage and Dark Shadow searched the outer areas of the perimeter. "There are rituals we would need to perform and artifacts to gather."

"I don't think a ghost took her." Izuku remarked. "Just like the in training camp, we were distracted and allowed the villain to abduct Katsuki. He might have been crafty but in the end he was still human."

"You don't think the League is here... do you?" Ochaco asked. They exchanged a look and she stood up straighter. "Well they have another thing coming if they think I'm going to stand by. Katsuki may have been one thing but Ryoko is my best friend!" She fired herself up even more than the Sports Tournament.

"She's really intimidating when she wants to be." Tenya commented.

"Y-yeah!" Izuku agreed.

Kyoka checked another tree. "Shush! Something is coming!" She warned.

Everyone assumed fighting positions as the sound of Shrine Bells could be heard accompanying a dense fog. "Stay together!" Tenya instructed.

The fog rolled into the small opening, settling in around their feet. The students kept their eyes locked on the forest edge trying to stay on guard for whatever may lurk in the shadows. From the trees came the steady chiming of bells, making it nearly impossible to hear anything else.

As quickly as it started the chiming ceased. A single light ignited from the shadows and a figure stepped forward, clad in burnt mike clothes with long black hair covering half her face. Bells jingled from her belt as her lantern gently jostled on its staff.

"T-that's the ghost from the story!" Ochaco shuddered.

"No way... she's real..." Kyoka stared.

Tenya and Izuku positioned themselves at the head of the group with Fukimage pulling up the rear. "Ghosts don't abduct people!" Tenya reminded. "Whoever they are they're human like us!"

"Right!" The group agreed.

The Lantern Lady stopped a few dozen yards away from them. With the cast of her lantern's light her exposed eyes glistened like a ruby. "No need to be afraid... I only come to guide you..." She spoke with her voice echoing off the trees in a haunting manner.

"We don't need any guiding! Just give us back our friend!" Tenya demanded.

She cocked her head to the side. "They have already been guided... would you like to be taken to them?" Her voice did not falter.

Izuku swallowed. "They?" He asked. When he nodded a pit started to form in his stomach. "Did you do something to our other friends?!" He demanded. With answer of silence he coated himself in the Full Cowling and led the charge. "Manchester Smash!" He aimed his attack.

It never collided. His body froze in mid air before the miko. "Izuku!" His friends yelled and rushed to help him.

From either side of the miko a large serpentine dragon emerged, shimmering with a ghastly light from their scales. They cut off the group and circled around the students several times. The darker of the two dragons reared its head up with the other one following suit.

The ground gave way under the group as they were hoisted into the air, ensnared in a net. "Guys!" Izuku struggled against the invisible force.

They struggled against the restraints with no success. The dragons turned their head back to their master who walked past the boy. The moment her eyes shifted away from his the momentum from his previous attack returned, only this time he was completely unprepared for it colliding with a tree before skidding against the ground. Struggling to force himself up he watched the miko approach his friends.

She tapped her staff on the ground and in response they lowered their captives. She smiled at them as Ochaco threw a hand out, just barely missing the ghost. "Your hearts are full of fear, if you give in and follow me, I can make it all disappear." The burnt woman promised as her eye glowed and she managed to seal the moments of the others just as she had with Izuku.

"Forget that! Just give us our friend back!" Ochaco swore with a shaking voice. "We're not going anywhere without her!" Her heart pounded in her chest but her eyes remained locked on the ruby one before her.

The miko seemed startled. "You think you have any chance to reclaim you friend in your current situation? You are paralyzed with fear as we speak."

"So?" Tenya growled. "Heroes know how to overcome their fear to protect those important to them!"

"I don't care how scared I get, I'm not abandoning anyone!" Kyoka said.

A tear rolled down the burnt side of the face. "What a heartfelt speech... truly fit for the newest generations of heroes." A pale hand reached up and she brushed aside her black hair to wipe the other tears away. The group gasped when she showed the unburned flesh.

"You're-!" Kyoka started.

"Izuku it's-!" Tenya shouted.

Realizing her mistake she tabbed her staff twice and the dragons nodded. They took off with the net containing everyone and disappeared into the shadows.

"No! Come back!' Izuku tried to chase after the dragons. Once again his body froze as the spirit focused on him. She began to walked towards him and he readied a finger with his Quirk charged. "Out of my way!" He threatened.

She reached out and seized his fingers before he could release the attack. He realized that it was a very real hand holding onto him. "You're not a ghost-" He started when he saw her face in much closer detail thanks to the light of the lantern.

Defense Group:

The bulk of the class made their way back through the woods in an attempt to get help. "Man, if only phone service was better." Denki complained.

"Can't you do anything to boast it?" Mina asked.

"I don't think that's how electricity works." Denki remarked.

Momo lead the group with Eijiro who checked the radio. "I should have gone with them." He commented.

"If Katsuki comes back first he's much easier to deal with you around." Momo assured.

"I just hate standing in the background... it's not very heroic..." He pouted.

"Are you worried you won't be the one to rescue her?" Sero teased. "Oh Eijiro! You saved me from the ghost! My hero!"

His face flushed red. "It nothing like that! I want my friends to be safe!"

"He absolutely wanted her to praise him." Everyone thought. Eijiro's crush on their classmate was a well known secret.

Momo looked down at her radio. The other two groups still hadn't called in yet and it was getting late. Sure they were all capable fighters but what about fighting the paranormal? "No, whoever took her had to be human. They'll find her and bring her home." She thought.

"I wonder if the Lantern Ghost lady is pretty, or large chested." Mineta thought aloud. "After all if ghosts are willingly to follow her she must have something going for her."

"I hope she abducts you next! You little monster!" Toru scolded.

"Hey don't say that! We're all in this together!" Eijiro defused the situation.

Momo watched him and felt her nerves ease a little bit. One of the primary reasons she kept Eijiro in her group was that everyone could get along with him, making him great for keeping calm in an unknown situation.

A steady fog began to descend upon the students. "Everyone stay close and stick to the path!" Momo instructed.

All the students clustered together as the sounds of shrine bells echoed from the shadows. Everyone formed a protective ring, ready to face their foe.

A shadow swooped down over the group before landing on the tree tops. "A tengu!" Toru shouted at the bird like creature before them.

From behind a woman emerged in a tattered kimono with dripping wet hair. "Where are you my love?" She reached for the group with more fog emitting from her body. "I crawled all this way for you... so we can be together for eternity..."

"Eeep!" Mina shrieked.

"Why are there so many ghosts?!" Eijirio hardened up.

"Stick together!" Momo ordered.

A roar came from the forest and two ghostly dragons wrapped around the group. "Our escape has been cut off!" Mineta cried. "What do we do?!"

Momo watched the ghosts and began to formulate a plan. "Alright we're going..." She heard a thump behind her.

"Kodo! Sero!" Mina rushed to their classmates side. "Wake up!" She shook them.

"I feel sleepy..." Denki joined his friends with Mineta not fall behind.

Eijiro felt drowsiness set in and punched himself in the face. "Come on! Stay awake! They need you!" He motivated himself.

One by one the students fell to the sleep as lanterns ignited in the forest and bells began to jingle. A young miko emerged with her burnt clothes.

The other spirits parted to allow her to enter. Eijirio forced himself in front of Momo and prepared for an attack. The ghost walked calmly through the fog and Momo and Eijiro felt their bodies freeze, unable to move an inch.

"Are you scared?" She asked in a gentle voice. When they didn't answer she drew forward.

"Stay back! I will attack a ghost... lady..." Eijiro struggled to just keep conscious.

She smiled and put a hand to the side of his face. "It's okay, just go to sleep and when you wake... you'll be in paradise with everyone." She promised.

Darkness creep up on the edge of his vision. "Momo... run..." He spoke. Then he collapsed into the arms of the Lantern Lady.

"Eijirio!" Momo watched as the miko spirit held him gently to prevent him from falling. She watched the ghostly woman ease him to the ground. As she set him down the ghost fixed his hand tenderly with hints of a soft smile, one too familiar to her. "You're-" Momo started as sleep took hold and the world faded to black.

Katsuki landed in a small meadow. He practically searched the whole mountain in his quest to find Ryoko. "Hey! Snakey!" He shouted, his voice echoing against the trees. "I'm going to pinch your cheeks so hard when I find you." He swore.

Then he saw a single light at the edge of the meadow. From the shadows a young woman emerged carrying a lantern on a staff. "Are you scared?" She asked.

"Of what? A weirdo with a stick?" His palms crackled. "You have 10 seconds to tell me where that stupid snake is."

"She's been guided. I can take you to her." She extended a hand to him.

He sent a large blast forward, devoting many of the surrounding trees. "Don't screw with me! Where is she?" He demanded.

Paralysis set in as he felt his body stiffen. As the smoke cleared a ruby eye remained focused on him. "There's no need to resist. It'll be peaceful." She promised.

"Piss off!" He sent out another large explosion. As he tried to generate a third a shadow wrapped around his palm, negating the effect. He glanced over his should to see the crow like creature join them in the meadow.

A twig snapped and a third spirit of a woman in a tattered kimono descended- bringing a thick fog with her. As the purple fog circled around he felt his strength falter even as his heart raced. "No! I won't be taken again!' He forced another large explosion.

From the smoke a hand wrapped around his free palm, giving a gentle squeeze. "Katsuki..." The miko stood in front of his with her lantern casting a sinister glow. "I claim your soul..." She leaned forward and placed the hand on his chest. "May it rest in peace..." Her face was mere inches from his. Fog circled around them as his vision faded.

"Damn it..."

Katsuki woke to find himself suddenly stopping, rather whatever he was sleeping on had com to a halt. He bolted up with crackling palms just in time to see a door opening. "You lantern wench-" He started as bright lights blinded him.

"Happy Halloween!" Cheers erupted all around him. His eyes adjusted to see that he was surrounded by his classmates, all alive and well.

He looked around, still registering the situation. "What?"

"Welcome to the Halloween party! You were the last one standing!" Ochaco grinned.

"Yeah, we got to watch your capture!" Sero pointed to the screen overhead that was replaying the footage from the meadow.

He watched the clip of the miko holding him in her arms, gently carrying him away. "What the hell is going one?" He demanded.

"Well now that everyone is here..." A chilling voice killed the festive mood. The whole class turned to see their villain teacher Medusa dressed up as Morticia Addams. Without her cryo suppression suit her scales glittered a glamorous ruby red. "You were captured by the Lantern Lady and her allies, then brought to the Class 1-A Halloween party. A pleasant trick for everyone." She smiled, flashing her fangs.

"You planned this all? What about Ryoko's abduction?" He climbed out of the cart.

"Everyone." Medusa snapped her fingers. The miko spirit, the tengu, the kimono lady, the dragons, and the hermit all appeared. "I think it's time for the big reveal." They all stepped into the light, allowing the students to see who they really are. "Eraser Head greeted you at the beginning, Fukimage set up the story and location for one of the groups, Midnight served as the abandoned lover, Black Mumba acted as the skeletal ghosts (Quirk: Tail Snake Heads- has two long tails with sentient snake heads on the end. Currently they are dress as ghosts.)our snakes Kuro and Shiro were the dragons (Quirk: Size Changing), and the burnt miko... was Ryoko." Medusa announced. Each participate took a bow as they were announced.

"So you lured us into the foggy meadow, so we wouldn't notice the trap?" Tenya asked Fukimage.

"I apologize for the deception, but yes. It was the safest way to capture everyone." He apologized.

"But you were abducted in the beginning, how could you be a ghost?" Eijiro asked Ryoko.

"I never left the group. Once the story everyone was distracted I ducked behind the Buddha statue and Fukimage used Dark Shadow to conceal me. Then when Momo began to discuss a plan and everyone was fixated on her, I used a hidden entrance to get my costume." Ryoko explained. "My family owns the mountain so I know it pretty well." She tapped her fingers together.

"What?!" The class exclaimed.

"This is my property. I thought a haunted woods would be a great way to reward my students for not getting in trouble... recently. Not to mention I wanted to keep my planning skills sharp." Medusa stood up. "So, let the festivities begin!" She snapped her fingers.

The light dimmed and dozens of carved pumpkins ignited in the massive dining hall. A table full of delicious Halloween themed treats was unveiled as music blared from unseen speakers. Everyone cheered as they descended upon the foods.

"Getting scared sure works up an appetite!" Ochaco grinned as she loaded up her plate.

"This must have taken a long time to prepare." Tsu grabbed some pumpkin pie.

Ryoko came over to join them. "Sorry if I scared you guys!" She bowed her head.

"Are you joking? That was awesome!" Tenya complimented.

"Yeah! You really had us going there!" Izuku praised.

"At least until you started crying." Kyoka patted her on the back.

"You guys were so sweet I couldn't help it... going so far for me..." Tears welded up again.

"That's when we knew it was you." The group agreed. "No ghost would suddenly start crying like that."

Ryoko collected herself and began preparing her own plates. "Actually Shoto was the first to figure it out." She turned and caught his eye, leading him to come over and join them. "What gave it away that it was me?" She asked the vampire.

He got filled a cup with apple cider. "I was suspicious when you froze my attack in a stasis, and when I felt your hand it I could feel traces of the scales. But the biggest give away was once I could get close enough to see your face. Your eyes are very gentle and honest, even with colored contacts."

Her cheeks flushed with his compliment. "He looks so handsome when saying that..." She thought. Then collecting herself so changed the subject. "But I think Momo figured it out too." She brightened suddenly. "But Katsuki didn't! And I managed to scare him!" She cheered.

"Good job." Shoto said.

"I knew it was you!" Katsuki growled at the same time.

She stuck her split tongue out. "No you didn't! You thought you were rescuing me!" She argued. "I felt your heart and it was racing!"

His cheeks flushed. "Shut up you Gecko!" He threatened. "Next time I'll just leave you!" He stormed off to the pumpkin carving station. She heard him repeatedly plunge the knife into his orange victim.

The rest of the night class 1-A enjoyed their private Halloween party. From pumpkin carving to scary movies everyone was able to find something to do. Ryoko was about to chat and laugh with all of her friends. "This has turned into a wonderful night." She thought to herself.

Fukimage came over to join her. "You did great tonight. All that planning paid off." He praised.

"I just build off of what you set up! Seriously you and Dark Shadow were key!" She objected.

He smiled. "I can't wait to do this again tomorrow."

"You guys are doing this again?" Eijiro asked rather loudly as he passed by.

"Well yeah... my mom teaches both 1-A and 1-B, it would be unfair if she only did something for one class and not the other." Ryoko said.

He grew excited. "Do you need any help scaring them? I can definitely be a zombie or something!"

"I can help with the sound effects, you guys were a little rough on some parts." Kyoka grinned.

"Leave the lights to me." Yuga promised.

One by one other members of the class agreed to help. "We'll scare them so badly they'll never think of challenging us again." Katsuki gave a sadistic grin.

"He wants to take his embarrassment out on someone." The class agreed.

Ryoko smiled at her friends. "This has been the best Halloween ever."
