Chapter 2: Invitation
Hearth Mansion
"Invitation from lord Ouranos?" Bell asked, confused with the suddenness of the news.
All members of Hestia Familia was having breakfast together when their goddess suddenly inform them of the invitation.
"Yup, the letter said that we're being invited to an event held by a special guest" Hestia said as she eats her breakfast.
"Did the letter say who this 'special guest' is?" Mikoto asked curiously
"Nope! I'm very curious about it myself…probably some nobleman from outside of Orario though" Hestia sighed before she perked up again.
"Oh, and we're allowed to bring in one more guest as well!" she said before turning her attention to her Captain.
"Any suggestion Bell?" she asked
"Then…can I bring Ryuu, goddess?" Bell asked of her
The other members of Hestia Familia are not really surprised when their captain pick the blonde elf. Both of them had gone through a lot together. From the battle in the 27th floor, surviving for 4 days in the 37th floor, and battling the Calamity, Juggernaut. Even now, Bell has not said anything about their 4 days ordeal in the deep floor and the others could see that whatever happened there had deep effect to their captain. One thing for sure though, those events had brought Bell and Ryuu closer. Even Hestia and Lily cannot get mad or jealous of it.
"…of course you can Bell" Hestia said with a smile
"Tell Ryuu to meet us in front of the Guild within 4 hours, okay?" she continued
"Yes, thank you goddess!" Bell replied happily
"Do you know who else got invited, Lady Hestia?" Welf asked as he finished his breakfast
"The letter did not say anything about that, but…" Hestia trailed as her face scrunched up in annoyance
"I bet that Loki would be there!"
The familia laugh at that. They finished their breakfast and start preparing for the event while Bell heads toward the Hostess of Fertility to inform Ryuu of the incoming event.
Hostess of Fertility
"An event held by god Ouranos himself?" Ryuu questioned the smiling Bell
Both of them currently standing in front of the inn which had yet to open. Bell had literally barged in and asked Mia if he can meet Ryuu. Mia had scolded Bell for that but allowed him to meet Ryuu either way.
"Yes! It is said that our Familia can bring in one extra guess…and..um, you're the first person that came to my mind.." Bell said, his face flushed red.
"…I would like to Bell, but I have my work-" Ryuu said with sad expression before the door of then inn suddenly slammed open, revealing Mia Grand with her hands crossed.
"Permission granted" Mia said with a smirk
"You had gone through a lot Ryuu…you had my permission to take a short holiday, you deserved it" The dwarf said before turning her attention to Bell
"You treat her right, okay?" which Bell nodded
"But…Syr-" Ryuu said
"Just be selfish for once Ryuu…even Syr would understand" Mia said warmly
Bell just listened to the conversation with curiosity.
"I-I…thank you Mia" Ryuu said as she bowed her head. The dwarf laughed as she pushed both the elf and the boy away from the inn.
"Just go now or else you'll be late!" that's the last thing Mia said before she disappeared into the inn.
Bell laugh lightly as he rubbed his neck before addressing the blushing elf besides him.
"Well…I'm actually planning to tell you to meet us in front of the guild within 4 hours…but I guess Mia put an end to that"
Ryuu only response is a chuckle
"Let's go to the Hearth Mansion then! We can go to the event together Miss Ryuu!" The Captain of Hestia Familia said
"But…my clothes?"
"Eh, I'm pretty sure that you can borrow some from either Mikoto or Haruhime. They won't mind!"
"…Thank you" Ryuu said with a smile
'I'm sorry Syr…but I no longer can reject this feeling'
Twilight Manor
"An invitation from Ouranos?" The Captain of Loki Familia, Finn, asked.
Loki had suddenly barged in into his office, demanding that he put everything on hold as they need to prepare for a 'party'.
"Yup! He said I can bring whoever I want and I had several people in my minds. Of course my Aizu is one of them!" Loki said as she slapped the envelope right on Finn's desk.
"Well…we don't have anything planned this week, so I don't see why not" Finn said while he reads the mail
"Oh, and I plan to bring you as well" Loki casually said
"…what?" is the blank response the goddess received from her Captain
"Oh come on Finn! You need to take a little break sometimes too! Don't give me that look, I'm planning to bring in all of the executives"
"Isn't that too much? Who's gonna prote-"
"The mail did not say anything about how many people I can bring, its Ouranos own fault for not making it clearer. Consider this as holiday for all of you and just put your trust on Raul...Its not like we're completely defenseless without all of our first-class" Loki said
"Well…If you put it that way…"
"Meet me at the gate within 3 hours! I need to dress up my girls Hehehehe" Loki said loudly as she walks out of the room without giving Finn the chance to response.
"That Loki…" Finn chuckled
Babel
"Oooh, what's this? Invitation from Ouranos himself? I wonder what is he planning" the goddess Freya chuckled as she reads the mail
"Your response, my lady?" Ottar, her Captain, dutifully asked
"I'll go of course. It won't do to reject an invitation such as this" Freya answered as she stood up from her throne.
"I had this feeling that something interesting would happen fufufu" the goddess of beauty said as she walk past her captain.
"Prepare yourself Ottar, you would accompany me to this gathering"
"Understood"
Traveler's Inn
"Hmmm, What are you planning Ouranos..." Hermes said with a smile. His Captain, Asfi, stood in front of his desk looking at him questioningly
"Do you think lord Ouranos planning something?" Asfi asked
"Of course! He never do something like this before and it really makes me wonder…"
"I assume you're going?"
"But of course, and so are you! I have a feeling that our dear Bell would be there as well." Herman said with a grin.
His blue haired captain cannot help but sigh at his antic.
Unknown
"Well, it's almost time…" Zelretch said as he stood up from his chair
The Dead Apostle Ancestor currently located in his special dimension. All around him are scenes from various different worlds, a perk of the 2nd magic.
"Now…Bell Cranel, I really want to know your opinion of all the heroes that I would show you" Zelretch chuckled.
"Will you change your opinion and view regarding 'Hero' after you saw all this? I really am waiting for your answer"

The story takes place after the event of LN 14 and might contain spoilers in future chapters.
Regarding Zelretch, I do admit that I used the fandom interpretation of Zelretch which usually depicts him a bored troll that messed with other people's life as it make it easier for me to explain why Zelretch is in Danmachi world out of all place.
I do kinda inspired to write this story after reading 'Heroic Myth' by Harouki, especially Bell reaction to Gilgamesh's past. Oh, and the events that the Danmachi characters would see are all about the Fate Characters. I'm not imaginative enough to write stories about different versions of Bell in various worlds hehehe. And sorry if some characters might be OOC.
Oh, and I'm sorry for any grammatical errors in this chapter. English is not my first language hahaha.
