Aliya POV
Aliya woke up the next morning to the smell of pancakes. She jumbed out of bed, quickly got dressed and ran down stairs. Once she reached the kitchen she saw her mom using the levatation spell to float plates of pancakes and eggs across the kitchen into the dining room.
Aliya sat down and helped herself to a pancake and eggs. She thanked her mom for making breakfast and started eating.
"Oh that's ok, don't thank dad for helping. Thank mom but not dad that's nice." Aliya's dad said.
"Oh sorry. Thank you." Aliya said, not realizing that her dad had helped. Usually the only way he helped was by being annoying and 'tatse testing' the food.
"Thanks for thanking me but you didn't have to." Aliya's dad said. "You simply have to leave me the last pancake."
"The one I want?"
"Yes. You don't need two."
"Oh fine. Here you go."
"Thanks. You're awfully generous today."
"What do you mean? You didn't help?"
"I merely watched."
"So I gave you that panckake for nothing."
"Yep."
"Why you.."
Aliya spent the rest of the day with her parents, she hardly left their side at all. By the time the end of the day came she was exhausted.
As Aliya lay in bed she felt an odd emptiness in her. She found herself thinking about Middle Earth then she remembered Legolas. She hadn't realized how much she missed him. Aliya grabbed her wand from the nightstand by her bed and looked at it.
Just then Aliya heard the sound of someone apparate into her room. She shot up and looked to where the sound came. To her horror Aliya saw none other than Bellatrix Lestrange standing there smirking. Bellatrix raised her wand.
"I will make this nice and quick if you just tell me what I need to know. Where is Harry Potter?" Bellatrix asked.
"No idea." Aliya lied.
"Well then. I guess you will have to suffer." Bellatrix said smiling evily.
Just then Aliya heard a crash come from downstairs but before she had anytime to think about Bellatrix had pointed her wand straight at Aliya.
"Crucio!" Bellatrix shouted.
"Reducto!" Aliya shouted, just in time.
"Fine have it your way." Bellatrix said. "Avada Kedavera!"
"Reducto!" Aliya shouted.
Aliya watched a Bellatrix smiled evily one last time before apparating away randomly. Aliya didn't waste anytime thinking instead she bulted downstairs and to her horror she found her parents dead. She looked up and for a split second saw Lord Voldemort just before he apparated away.
Aliya fell to her knees. Tears were streaming down her face. That was it. There was nothing left for her here now. Everything was gone.
