The rest of the month flew by in a flash of planning and little free time.
Aliya now had to choose a dress (which was not as easy as it sounded). Fred and George brought Hermione and Ginny over early to help with finding a dress, while Ron and Harry stayed back for the time being.
"That dress is ok. I'm not a fan." Ginny said as Aliya walked out wearing a white dress with several layers.
"It's nice but there's something about it that I don't like." Hermione said, studying the dress.
"Is it all the layers? That's what I don't like. It makes me look like a giant cloud or marshmallow." Aliya said, looking at herself in the mirror.
Then she walked back behind the folding screen and got into the next dress.
"That one is too plain." Ginny said.
"Yeah. It needs more." Aliya said.
Hermione nodded in agreement.
Once again Aliya changed into a different dress.
"What do you think of this one? I'm not really a fan." Aliya said. "It's a little too thin."
"Same here." Ginny said, looking at the dress.
The dress was white and very thin.
"What about this one?" Aliya asked. "I like it."
She was wearing a white dress with a pink design and a silver cape.
"It's beautiful." Hermione said.
"Agreed." Ginny said.
"Finally I'm done." Aliya said, once she was back in heroriginal dress
"Um, no you're not." An elf said walking in.
"I'm Callomen. You will be seeing a lot of me these next few days. I am the wedding planner and I have a few other jobs as well." The elf said, he had long black hair and dark brown eyes. "The reason I said you're not done is because we still have to find you a hairstyle."
"Today?!" Aliya asked, shocked.
"Yes today." Callomen said.
"Why not tomorrow or some other time this week?" Aliya asked.
"Because you are busy tomorrow and the rest of this week with wedding things."
"I'm starting to want to re-think this whole wedding thing." Aliya said. "I didn't think I would be this busy."
"Well if you're going to call the wedding off tell me. I don't want to do this work for nothing."
"No, no I would never call it off."
"Then why did you say that? Don't say stuff you don't mean!"
"Sorry. Can we get my hair done now?"
"Yes. Just let me get Amara."
And with that Callomen left the room. Aliya then walked over to a vanity and sat down in front of it.
"Good luck." Ginny said, standing up with Hermione.
Aliya turned around.
"Wait you're leaving me?" She asked.
Ginny nodded. Then she and Hermione left the room leaving Aliya alone waiting for Callomen and Amara.
Aliya studied her mother's ring. It was silver with a diamond. She sighed, she wished she had more freetime. She felt as if she was always busy. Probably because she always was busy.
Aliya looked up at hearing the door open. Callomen and Amara walked in.
Amara had long brunette hair and a friendly smile.
Amara walked over and started doing Aliya's hair. She moved quickly and soon Aliya's hair was done in a very neat hairstyle.
"What do you think of this?" Amara asked, stepping back to check her work.
Aliya's hair was in a single braid with flowers strewn in to match her dress.
"It's alright but it's not my type." Aliya said.
"Alright… how about this?" Amara asked, a few minutes later.
Aliya looked in the mirror. Part of her hair was in a bun in the back of her head while the rest of her hair remained untouched and left down.
"It's a keeper." Aliya said, smiling.
Amara then took her hair down and Aliya braided it back into its original braid.
"Perfect. You're done for the day." Callomen said, writing on a piece of parchment.
Aliya thanked them and left the room. She walked down the halls and out to the training course. She thought she should work on her archery or sword skills since she hadn't practiced in a while.
Aliya pulled out her bow and notched an arrow in it. She aimed it at the target and released hitting the target in the center.
Just then an arrow flew by Aliya's head and hit the target in the center splitting Aliya's arrow. Aliya turned and saw Legolas standing a good distance behind her.
"That could have hit me!" Aliya said as Legolas walked towards her.
"But it didn't." Legolas said.
"What if it did?"
"I never miss my target."
"You missed an orc during a battle."
"No I hit it."
"You hit the one behind it when you initially meant to kill the one in front of it."
"One, we don't talk about that and two, I still killed an orc so it technically counts."
Legolas stepped back as Aliya turned back to the target and notched an arrow. Right before she released it an arrow whizzed past her face barely missing her, hitting an elf in the arm a few rows down.
Aliya turned and looked to see where the arrow had come from only to see a swarm of orcs coming into the clearing.
Aliya grabbed the sword that Legolas tossed her and started killing the orcs. The orcs were too close to use a bow but apparently not for Legolas. He was constantly switching between his bow and daggers.
Aliya heard a horn sound and soon more elves arrived into the clearing including the king.
Aliya killed an orc and quickly glanced over at the king. He was slaughtering orcs one by one with no sign of difficulty while Legolas on the other hand was fighting a group of three orcs showing no difficulty. Then Aliya spotted it. An orc was slowly sneaking up behind Legolas.
Aliya quickly ran over and killed the orc but got slashed across her leg by another orc.
Aliya cried out in pain but shook it off and kept fighting. It was only until a group of healers took her away with other injured elves when she stopped fighting.
Aliya protested as the healer bandaged her leg for her. She could do it herself. She also didn't understand why she couldn't stay and help fight. She was not injured that bad or so she thought. She wasn't a wimp she could still fight.
Aliya watched as injured elves slowly drifted in and out. Then a group of elves rushed in carrying an elf that looked to be dead or on the verge of death.
Aliya craned her neck to get a better look to see who the elf was and saw long blonde hair and the face of Legolas.
