routine call

"Call in progress...call in progress...call in progress..."

"Come on." Brie said as she clutched her mother's emergency call button in her hand.

"Morgan? This is mobile help, if you do not respond I will be forced to call..."

"Send the police." Brie sputtered, just as the closet door swung open.

"Dumb choice, kid." A male laughed grasping Brie's arm, drug her to her feet, smashing the button under his boot.

"I'm 29!" Brie snapped.

"Ohhhh, my mistake, let's go, bitch!" The male hissed as he pulled Brie towards the staircase.

"Like I said Jay..." Haliey started to say but was interrupted by a distress call coming in from the life alert call center.

"Distress call 778 South Elm." a staticy voice came across the police radios.

"Copy. be advised two plain clothed officers on scene." Hailey said back into her radio.

"So much for coffee." Jay joked, taking a sharp right hand turn, speeding over to the address that was given.

Chicago P.D.!" Hailey hollered after letting her knuckles connect with the front door, gun drawn, while Jay checked around back.

"Damn it! Just had to call the police." The male said glaring at her.

"You heard the call, dumb-ass!" Brie smirked.

"What are you so happy about?" He questioned.

"This by no means that this will end how you would expect!" He laughed, throwing her to the carpeted floor, running towards the back door.

"Jay! He's headed your way!" Hailey yelled to her partner as she burst through the front door, seeing the silhouette running into the back hallway.

"Copy." Jay said into his com, from where he was waiting for the suspect to burst through the back door, but he never did.

"Are you okay?" Hailey asked Brie who was trying to get to her feet, but the force of her head connecting with her living room carpet, made it too difficult to even realize that Hailey was talking to her.

"Stay hewere." brie heard Hailey in slurs. Hailey began to clear the rooms, but quickly realized that this house was a lot larger than it had first appeared.

"Jay. I need you inside!" Hailey exclaimed. Jay came bursting through the back door, following his partner's voice. when he made it to her he stumbled upon a scene that even he couldn't handle.

"Call crime scene!" Jay told her, turning to leave.

"Where are you going?" Hailey questioned.

"To find this son of a bitch!" Jay snarled, running down the hallway and outside into the darkness.
