Choices
"Team's here, Hails, just stay with me." Jay said stroking her cheek, her eyes tried to close.
"Let me know when you find Erin." Hailey said, letting herself lose consiousness.
"Voight!" Jay hollered towards where he could hear the team's voices, echoing around him. Suddenly the power burst back on, and Jay could sense that there were guns pointed at him!
"Hello Detective Halstead." The woman said.
"That gash is only going to get worse, so I'll make you a deal..."
"I'm negoiciating with a kidnapper!" Jay snapped, prepared to lunge, but remembered that he was trying to sheild his partner from any more violence.
"Hold on, you haven't even heard me out." The woman hissed back.
"Let's hear it." Kim said from the other side of the room. Voight glared at her, but she didn't even care.
"Let us get blondie out of here, and I will let you get the medical attention that you are going to need." she sounded almost sympathetic.
"You already have Erin, why do you need Hailey too?" Jay questioned.
"That doesn't matter..."
"Actually it does." she smirked.
"Make your choice." She said looking him straight in the eyes. jay looked over towards Voight, and the rest of the team, but none of them had a clear shot.
"Just take me." Jay said trying to negociate, his head still throbbing.
"We can take you, to the morgue!" one of the males laughed firing his gun at Jay, aiming for his shoulder, but missed! the team could tell that they needed to do something.
"If you won't take Jay, then take me. You are after female officers, obviously. I will go with you." Kim said trying to get a better look at the woman she was talking to.
"As tempting as that sounds, I only want the blonde!" She said approaching Hailey. jay tightened his hold on Hailey shoulders.
"Fne, Halstead, let's go!" She snapped as more males entered the residence yanking Hailey free of Jay's grip and pulling Jay to his feet.
"Jay!" Ruzek screamed as Jay fell to the tiled floor by the back door.
"How could I be so stupid!" Jay growled, gripping his chest, watching, helplessly as Hailey was forced into the cargo space of a large cadalaic escalade! The room lit up with gun fire, but there was no chance of getting to Hailey, now.
