Hi again!
"So when did you and Neville get together?" Luna was now talking to Dean, who had recently arrived with a few other DA members. Luna smiled at Neville's name. They were hanging out in the Burrow's backyard with a huge tent they used for Bill and Fleur's wedding.
"About a month ago!" she cried out excitedly. "He even got me this dress," she said twirling around. Dean chuckled and stared in the direction where Neville was, he was talking to Katie Bell and Seamus Finnegan. Luna grabbed Dean's hand and held onto it. "Let's go have a drink!" she said, dragging him to the food area.
"Luna! Dean!" a voice from behind said. "You two are dating? Because you guys look soo cute!" Luna let go of Dean's hand immediately as she recognized the voice. Michael Corner. The snotty Ravenclaw who always wanted to ruin Luna's life. "Hey everyone! Luna and Dean are dating!" he shouted and everyone turned to face them.
His voice was loud even louder than Dean who was trying to tell people Michael was lying. Soon enough everyone was clapping and congratulating Luna and Dean. Why did everyone believe him? Because he's a jerk. Neville stared at her curiously but his eyes flashed with pain but it soon vanished. Luna ran back inside the Burrow scared. She sat on the couch and started to feel tears in her eyes.
"What do I do? What do I do?" she muttered to herself. She was so distracted she didn't even notice who the person was when someone sat next to her and wrapped their arms around her. "What do you want?" she muttered angrily. "I want to be alone Ginny! Enjoy your party!"
"I'm not Ginny." the person said. Luna looked up and saw Neville. She wrapped her arms around him and gave him a hug. "Dating Dean now aren't you?" he asked seriously after she let go of him. Luna looked at him with tears. "I was kidding Luna! I was just kidding!" he continued laughing. "Don't be silly." he now said softly, he brushed her hair with his fingers.
Luna stared at him and weakly smiled. "I-I'm-" but she was interrupted with a kiss on her lips. She kissed back and they apparated back to Neville's apartment. "What's Ginny going to say?" she asked between kisses.
"Worry about that later," Neville replied, he took off his shirt and pushed her onto the bed. Her back was facing him and he unzipped her dress and soon Luna's dress was on the ground. Luna turned around and faced Neville nervously.
"Neville what-" he kissed her and wrapped his arms around her and reached for her bra strap. He laid on the bed beside her and undid the strap and started to wrap his arms around her, she was soon completely naked. "What are you doing?" she pushed him back confused. He soon was equally clothed as she was.
He wrapped his arm around her and pulled her close. She felt bliss as it happened, she felt pleasure and pain, but she loved it. She kissed him and moaned as she wrapped her arms around him. Neville groaned and they soon fell asleep.
"It's Sunday! What are we going to do today?" Luna asked jumping around. She was already dressed up, with a t-shirt from Ginny and some leggings she bought from a Muggle store. Her t-shirt was striped with colours blue and white.
Neville on the other hand yawned as he just woke up. "I think I have to go to the office today Luna," he said. He looked at her fit. "You look beautiful though." he continued. Luna frowned.
"Can't you take a day off?" she asked. "It's Sunday!"
"No, I want to be an Auror Luna, like my parents," he said softly, "One sec." He walked into the bathroom, brushed his teeth and got dressed in there. He walked out and Luna was sitting on the bed waiting to brush her hair. She brushed it as he walked out. "Luna as I was saying, I can't, this is really important." He leaned in and kissed her. "You were perfect last night, and you're still perfect now. I'll be home by 2." he said.
"I guess I'll go visit the Daily Prophet's office," she said.
Neville stared at her confused. "Why would you go there?"
"Ginny's writing some stuff and asked me to go with her, but I said no yesterday so now I'll surprise her," Luna replied. "It's nothing too big, I'll probably visit your office so don't worry." she continued.
"Okay I love you, Luna," he said giving her a kiss, they kissed for about awhile before floo-ing into the Ministry. They both waved their goodbyes and walked where they were supposed to go. Luna headed towards the Daily Prophet's Office and saw many unfamiliar faces.
"Miss? Do you work here?" a ministry man asked Luna as she was walking around oblivious to the signs that said if you weren't a Ministry member sign in.
"No?" She looked at a young man who had bronze almost red-ish hair and he had the prettiest hazel eyes. Wow how pretty!
He looked at her shocked. "Why, you're Luna Lovegood! My name is Rolf Scamander, I work for the Daily Prophet."
"Rolf Scamander? You're the assistant to the Chief Consulting Magizoologist to the Daily Prophet." Luna gasped excitedly. "Wait how do you know me?" she asked curiously.
Rolf scratched his head embarrassed, his face was flushed. "I read about you, you helped Harry Potter find the Diadem of Ravenclaw, you were a member of the DA, you helped defeat countless Death Eaters, you're a hero! Me on the other hand..."
"I'm not a hero," Luna said, "It was more Hermione, Ron, and Neville. And Ginny!" Rolf laughed.
"Give yourself more credit Miss Lovegood," he said.
Luna smiled. "I'll try. I can't believe I'm meeting you! You're such an inspiration!" Luna said excitedly.
"Me? A Magizoologist?" Rolf asked confused.
Luna nodded. "I'm trying to be a Magizoologist, the tests are rather odd though," she said. "I'm doing my final tests on Wednesday."
"Oh of course! Good luck Miss Lovegood. How old are you?" he asked curiously.
"I'm 19," she replied. "What about you?"
"24. I went to Hogwarts as well, I was a Hufflepuff, like my grandfather," he replied.
Luna nodded. Interesting... Wait- Newt Scamander?! "Your Grandfather was the Newt Scamander?" she asked.
Rolf's face was suddenly flushed, "Well yeah, I mean my last name is Scamander." he mumbled.
"Scamander..." she repeated. "My boyfriend is an Auror, have you ever met him? His name is Neville," she asked suddenly thinking of Neville for some reason.
Rolf thought carefully. His face scrunched up as if he was trying to figure out a problem. Luna couldn't help but giggle. That's kinda cute. She thought. He looked at her and said "Your boyfriend is Neville Longbottom? The famous Neville Longbottom? Shit, oops, I mean Miss Lovegood, he is one lucky guy. I've talked to him about once."
"He's the best," she said quietly wondering why he cussed.
"So what are you doing around the Daily Prophet?" He asked curiously. Luna couldn't help but stare into his hazel eyes. They were so pretty and beautiful.
"Your eyes are pretty." she pointed out. Rolf blushed. Luna covered her mouth quickly. "I'm looking for Ginny, she said she had an interview here."
"Thank you, oh Ginny Weasley, the chaser for the Holyhead Harpies? She's that way." he said pointing into a room that said "Interview 2" on the front door. "And you shouldn't be here without a badge so if anyone asks just say you're my trainee." he continued.
Luna sighed. "Thank you so much, Mr. Scamander! I'll see you around maybe."
"Hopefully I'll see you too Miss Lovegood," he replied politely before walking to his office.
Luna waved goodbye and headed by the door, she knocked.
"Who is it?" a familiar voice sounded. Ginny.
"Luna! You told me to come here remember?" Luna replied. Ginny opened the door and hugged Luna.
Ginny rolled her eyes. "I thought you were staying with Neville?" she said.
"Change of plans." Luna shrugged. "Guess who I just met!"
"Who?" Ginny asked curiously. Luna jumped up and down excitedly.
"Rolf Scamander!" she cried out happily.
"Rolf Scamander?" Ginny paused confused. "What's so special about-"
Luna hushed Ginny with her finger and continued to twirl around excitedly. "He's a famous Magizoologist! He's also so hot!" Ginny stopped Luna and looked into her eyes.
"Luna, calm down. I've never even seen you this excited." Ginny said suspiciously. "When are you doing your tests anyway?" she continued.
"Wednesday," Luna said. "They're my final tests so I'm excited!"
"You do know he's one of the testers for the final tests." Ginny pointed out. Luna gasped.
"What?!" she cried out nervously.
Ginny patted Luna on the back. "Don't worry, Neville is helping you study remember?" Luna began to feel lightheaded. Neville? "Yeah Neville? You're boyfriend."
"Of course," Luna replied.
"Come on, we'll go visit him. My interview was finished anyway. Plus I'll get to see Harry!" Ginny said. The two friends walked out the door and started heading to the Auror's office.
