Sorry if this isn't the best one. There isn't much info on Kino in the anime, just in the games and I haven't seen anything about him that much. And thank you for reading! The last one of round one will be coming soon, so be on the look out, and then round two will be out soon enough.
The Snake And The Devil
(Kyun pov.)
I watched as he made her fear him. Trying to get her to compromise her life, or he'd kill her.
Please. He wouldn't kill her. She's the Eve. And he wants to be the Adam. I'm just the...snake, who'll take this all away to end it.
"Arg!" Kino busted through the door and slammed it shut. Seeing the girl's face, I smiled. "Guess she wasn't willing."
"Leave me alone!" He yelled at me. I didn't frown, but I wasn't smiling anymore. I waited for his to walk past me before speaking again. "Do you want me, to talk to Yui?" I asked. "Girls or women have a higher authority to each other. A queen to...a future goddess." I said.
Kino turned to look at me and waved his hand. "Do what you please." He said.
I grinned. Now it was my turn to have some fun.
Thinking back, when I was a young child, I thought my life was perfect. I was a young lady, going to get married, had loving and supportive parents, fun and understanding siblings, everything was perfect.
Till HE arrived. Karlheinz! Or the vampire and father, Tougo Sakamaki.
He came to her house, and turned my whole family into vampires. My parents later, couldn't handle the bloodlust, and were staked by the commoners who saw us as a threat.
My siblings refused blood and waited till dawn and burned up in the sun.
I was all alone. But because of it, I vowed, that I would kill that man, and his WHOLE FAMILY, for revenge of mine!
But, then I met Kino, and I had a slight change of plans.
"Hello, little Evie." I said as I walked in on Yui still crying her tears.
I closed the door slowly before talking to her. "So, why don't we have a womanly talk." I said pulling up a chair and taking a seat.
"You. Your causing SO much trouble for ALL vampires alike. And all just because...your the legendary Eve? Ha!" I laughed loud and hard. Faking it slightly.
"What do you want?" Yui asked.
I stopped and asked her the one question. "Do you even know, who or what, the Eve is?"
She stared at me like I was the one who lost my brain.
"The so called "Eve" is supposed to be a human girl, with the heart of a demon." I said. "Explaining your heart, it's the lost heart the the Sakamaki's first wife. He experimented with his own sons, to create the perfect Eve, and in the end, whatever failed, he killed."
Her face looked horrified. "And whomever, "Eve's" blood, chooses to be the "Adam" will share under the great tree, and will rule the world, destroying everything, and creating a whole new world, where they rule, and they are in control. And do you know, what exactly that means?" I asked her.
She shook her head even more horrified. "You have to pick, a Vampire, to be your one true Adam, who will kill every living soul and not soul, and it'll just be the two of you, ruling and creating a whole new world! So, you'll be just like us, but eventually, you will die of course. You're still human and all." I scoffed.
"Ayato wouldn't do that!" She yelled.
"Oh! So, one of HIS sons IS going to be the so called, "Adam" after all."
She started crying as she covered her mouth. "You are the key to the world becoming ruins of the past, and creating a better future." I said as I headed to the door. "I hope you'll think about what you'll do."
"I don't know." I heard her say. I sighed. "You want to know something, if it were me, as a human, I would have just taken my own life."
She looked at me like I was crazy. I laughed at her reaction. "I was human once? I became this monster for a reason. And look where I'm at now?! If I had known sooner about that evil man's plan, you be dead as an infant." I threatened her.
Her face looked like she was about to die. I smiled seeing it. And left the room smiling with satisfaction.
Sure I didn't entirely do what Kino wanted, but I knew the real reason why Sakamaki, had done this.
I made a promise to myself I would protect Kino. Even if he is the son of that...man. But, he's different. He was thrown out and treated like dirt. he was lost, alone, and hurt.
I know that feeling. So, when I found him, I told him and myself, I would do whatever it took to get revenge on the whole family that ruined our lives. He was perfectly fine with taking the girl and planning on killing his brothers. And whoever else got in our way.
But, if he knew the real reason, that the purpose, is to KILL all of us vampires and other creatures, then he'd be dead, and so would I. Eventually.
Sakamaki worked the whole thing out. How do I know? Well, I'm very persuasive when I want to be.
"Ah. Kino. You'll be not happy to hear, but she really wasn't going to talk. So, I had to explain a little about what was going on. Let her take it all in, then you explain why. Saved you the best part." I told him.
He looked angry with me. "Kyun! You didn't touch her did you?!" He ran up so fast to me, pinning me to the wall behind me.
"I heard you did somethings to her."
"Why would I do that?" I asked while trying to breath. I may be a vampire, but I still need air. Or else I'll lose my head!
"Why would you?"
"All I do, is to protect you!" I shouted. And it was all I could say. I hoped he would understand and believe me. When he let me go, he looked to the two men behind him. "What are you trying to pull?!" He shouted.
The two men were stunned. Did they expect him to kill me right off the bat?
Kino moved so fast, I didn't even see the blood till he stood still in front of me again.
"I'm sorry. They told me lies. I should never have doubted you. So, I'll have her ready for me?" He asked me. I nodded. But it was right after, someone came running in.
"Master Kino! The girl! She's tried to kill herself!"
Kino went running ahead and I was a little behind. When we got there, Yui was on the ground. Blood was everywhere. She had gotten a hold of a knife. I didn't know how, but it wasn't looking good. I looked inside her room, and there was more blood in there then on her whole body.
But it wasn't what I thought it was. It was darker, more scary type of colored blood. What this the blood of a demon or witch?
I know I messed up for sure. But...I did say that, "I'd rather kill myself instead." Just to get her to kill herself for real. But...I guess everyone else can smell the blood on her. Even me.
"How did this happen?!" Kino was very angry and asking everyone about how it happened.
"Kino."
"No!" He turned and looked at me. "Kyun. I know you can be a SNAKE sometimes, but this might be TOO FAR!" He yelled at me.
"Please. I didn't touch her!" I gave her the idea so it's my fault. But I only want Kino for myself and to protect him.
"I DON'T GIVE A RAT'S ASS!"
"Fine. Then go and have all our kind, the supernatural, all who live in the dark, send them to their DEATHS! ADAM!" I yelled back and ran off.
I could come and go like I pleased. But...I've been enjoying myself too much.
I need to go back to my old ways. I lived this long on my own, I'll just go back to that." "I'm sos sorry, Kino. I just love you."
(Kino pov.)
I couldn't understand why she would do this, till the next night, one of my men found a note from her.
Or my father. It explained that this whole thing was to kill all of our kind. I couldn't understand how that was supposed to be. But in detail, it was to have us bond with the girl, Yui, and blend our blood, so we could live day and night. Eat normal food and sleep...for once.
"Oh Kyun. I get it. But why keep this from me in the first place? To protect me or the girl? Or my family?!" I asked all these questions. And the more I asked, the angrier I got.
"Sir, she's nowhere to be found."
Why would she leave? She is devoted to me. Was it something I said?
There I go again!
"Why do you want to help me?" She asked.
"You hate the Sakamaki's?"
"They KILLED EVERYONE OF MY FAMILY!"
"They threw me out. I'm not even a member of that family. Even if I have the same last name." I told her the first time I met her.
She was going to kill me if I told her, but...It was better than living the life I was at the time.
"I see. Well, then I may spare you." Looking up at her in shock, her skimpy little black dress was like she was begging for trouble, but that might be the pint. For anyone to fall for her. But I could smell vampire on her.
"Why?" I asked.
"How about this, we work together, we get revenge on the same person and family who ruined our lives." She said.
I was surprised, but I nodded. "I'll agree."
Seems so long ago now. "Kyun."
She was a woman of everything. Good or bad.
"I'll head out and find her. Keep that girl alive till I get back." I told them all. "And If I find out that she's been touched, IT WILL BE YOUR HEADS!" I yelled.
I headed out and it wasn't too long before I would find her. Thinking back, her favorite place was the park.
At least, for food. But her old home is where she was at.
It wasn't far and I was shown it once. I approached the house, and saw the burnt up and damp building, with a woman inside, standing there.
I didn't bother her. I could tell she was praying to them. Her family.
When she finished, she saw me with such a shock. "Kino? What are you doing here?" She asked me.
I laughed and walked up to her. "Care to redo that promise?" I asked.
She smiled. "I'll show mercy on you if-"
"If, you always tell me the truth, and don't ever leave my side again." I said to her.
Her face was so pale, but it was beautiful. "I don't want to lose my most beloved precious." I said to her.
"I'm...not an object. But I'm liking the talk. It's a deal. I'm sorry I kept the truth from you. I just...don't want to be alone again. And I didn't want this to be the way to kill all your brothers." She added.
I kissed her cheek and laughed. "Alright. Let's go home and figure this out. I won't become Adam. But we can't let any of my "brothers" be Adam either." I chucked.
We headed back to our home and Yui was doing just fine, except, "Sir, we've tested the blood. But...it can't be any good. It's killing more vampires then healing them."
"Kyun?"
"Don't look at me. I have no idea why it's like that, Kino."
Well we almost have it.
The End
