Back on the Island of Patch where Yang has been residing since the Fall of Beacon. Things have been well not easy for her. She's still adjusting to her new daily life with only having one arm now. Tai has been trying his best to get his daughter back to normal herself and it seems he wasn't the only one. He received a package all the way from Atlas, it was a new mechanical arm for her state of the art.
But Yang even with the arm available to her she hasn't tried it on. She's….afraid ever since that man took a part of her and kinda accepted that having one arm now is her new normal now.
Late at night in her bedroom Yang couldn't sleep muddled in her own thoughts she doesn't know what to do with her life now. She looks at a photo of her team all together smiling. Yang knows her little sister Ruby is with Daven and the others heading to Mistral, Weiss back all the way at Atlas she hopes they're doing ok And Blake….she doesn't want to didn't think about her now,.She then heard her dad laughing downstair that caught her attention
Curious at it she went downstairs. Reaching down she saw light beaming from the kitchen area and heard 2 familiar voices. It's Professor Port and Doctor Oobleck they were sitting at a table having a laugh at Tai stories back when he was in Beacon
"And -and and then, in comes Qrow, Wearing a skirt!" Port trying to hold his laugh. "I was just a T.A I..I didn't know what to do, so i just left the room to laugh!"
"Yeah, we told him it was a kilt." Tai explains " he'd never worn a uniform before so he didn't know!"
"Haha That is terrible!" Oobleck laughing it off "What is wrong with you?!"
"Hey! The girls all said he had nice legs, I did that jerk a favor!"
Before Tai could continue Port put one of his legs on the table posing
"Like what you see?" He asks as all laughed just then Port lost his balance and fell to the ground they all laughed so did Yang who was standing by the door getting their attention
"Oh, um Miss Xiao Long!" Port quickly got up so did Oobleck "Please Join us"
"Yes,yes, pull up a chair. "Oobleck agreeing nodding his head as Yang enters the kitchen "Please, pull up a chair"
Yang smiled as she stood next to her dad. "I'm good. So what are you doing here?"
"Despite popular belief, teachers do have a life outside the classroom." Oobleck answers
"Professor Goodwicth is working around the clock to restore Beacon to its former glory." Port said "But Mistral wasn't built in a day, and we all need some rest from time to time"
"Look, let's not worry about that right now." Tai said getting back to his story " So, there we were, standing in the auditorium looking at Qrow wearing a skirt! Then Oz tells everyone: It's time to work on our landing strategy"
The three adults laughed
"Ah, The Branwen Twins have always been...interesting, to say the least, but not much as Miss Sirius." Oobleck said getting Yangs interest
"Wait Davens mom?"
"Ah Sarah Sirius, "Port nodding his head" what a bright lady she was I believe the young Tai had an interest in her back then"
"Hey man come on my daughter doesn't need to know that"
Yang turns her to her dad. "You had a thing for Davens mom!?"
"Oh rest assure Miss Sirius didn't had an interest to Tai back then after what she did to him"
"What did she do?"
"She uhhh...repeatedly keep hitting me in the head with a small metal glowing ball" Tai dejectedly said frowning a bit " and didn't like my puns too"
Yang paused before bursting out laughing " Pffthaha that sounds like something Daven would do too!
"Pete, you didn't have to mention that!"
"Oh please! Port disagrees "She's a mature young woman. If she can handle combat, she can handle a few jabs at her old man"
"That's not the issue Pete, and besides, she still a teenager" Tai said
"'She' is also in the room "Yang speaking up "and can be directly spoken to. And I think I've through enough to be considered an adult at this point."
Tai crossed his arms sighing "Adult or not, you still got a long way to go before you're ready for the real world"
Yang rolled her eyes at what she just heard. "Oh my gosh! Does every father figure just have the same three condescending phrases!?"
"Yeah! But we only use them when we mean it!"
"Is that so?"
"As a matter of fact, it is so!" Tai shouted, "If you honestly think that you're ready to go out there on your own…..well,guess you lose some brain cells along with that arm."

Everyone gasped and went completely silent at what Tai just said Yang's eyes widen Port jaws open and Oobleck dropped his drink on the table.
"You...jerk! hahaha!" Instead of being angry at it Yang laughed it off and punched her old man in the arm as both were laughing it off.
Oobleck and Port, on the other hand, were unsure what just happen now
"Are we finally talking about the Goliath in the room?" Oobleck asks being very cautions
Tai and Yang were surprised and looked at each other before laughing at it so did Oobleck and Port laughed along as well a typical father and daughter argument for Tai and Yang
"Miss Xiao lo- Yang. "Port calling her first name "If you don't mind me asking, Why haven't you tried the arm yet."
"Oh yes yes!" Oobleck nodded his head in agreement. "A piece of Atlas technology being given out like that is rare indeed, not to mention the effort it took to deliver it here. It seems a great many people want to you return to normal."
"I'm….scared." Yang admits rubbing her as she rubs her arm " Everyone keeps talking about me getting back to normal and I appreciate it. But...this is normal now. She looks at her stump "It's just….taking me a while to get used to it"
"Well…..normal is what you make of it." Tai speaking up
Yang raised a brow at her dad. "What is that supposed to mean? Do you want me to just pretend like nothing happened? I lost a part of me. A piece of me is gone and It's never coming back"
"You're right. "Tai agreeing " it's not coming back but that doesn't mean you have to stop you from becoming who you want to be. We all eventually fall down in our lives but You can choose to get back up or not from it. You're Yang Xiao Long, My sunny little dragon. You can do whatever you put your mind to. So whenever you think you are ready to stop moping around and get back out there….I'll be there for you"
Yang just stared at her father still unsure "I…
"Fear is like any other emotion, it comes and goes. Port speaks up" It's all in how you handle it. Why even I find myself wrestling with that emotion form time to time
"Seriously?" Yang blankly looked at Port "You?"
"He's afraid of mice." Oobleck whispers
"THEY ONLY BRING DISEASE AND FAMINE!" Port Shouted slamming a fist on the table "And don't get me started with tails! So hairless it's unnatural!"
"Port I assure you are safe." Oobleck calming his friend "there are no mice here right now"
"...Pffhaha!" Yang let's out a laughing hard at she heard she didn't expect her former teacher Port is afraid of mice. As she was laughing Tai looks at his daughter happy to her smiling again.

Shortly after Yang decided to hit the sack she went upstairs saying goodnight to her her room Yang looks at her mechanical arm on her counter it made her think about what her dad said that she can choose to get back up or not it from her loss. She shook her head she needs time to think it over. Yang walked over to Window looking at the night sky.
Looking at the many stars in the night sky it made her think of Daven for some reason. She misses that bright smile of his, his cheery funny attitude and her teasing him and speaking of him. His mom got in her thoughts, She knows his mom knew everyone her dad, Uncle Qrow..and her moms. She couldn't help but wonder what she was like to them and how come she didn't know about till Qrow told her and Ruby?
She made a sigh thinking about it she noticed her dad with Port and Oobleck outside before they part ways she can even hear them talking where she's at
"Thanks for having us over, Tai" Port showing his gratitude so did Oobleck
"Anytime. You're always welcome."
"It may be quite some time before we return." Oobleck said. "There's still much work needs to be done at the school"
I...hesitate to ask. Port speaking up in a concerning matter "but...Is there any word from young Miss Rose or even Mr Sirius of that matter?"
Tai turns his head at the question"...Not yet."
"I understand you took Daven in after the fall of Beacon for he had nowhere else to go but have you thought about going after them?" Oobecks suggest "Trying to bring them back?"
Tai didn't give an answer right away he does want Ruby back here to her home especially Daven too even though he really doesn't live with them he still wants him here. But he knows can't go after them given the situation now he clenches his fist and made a loud sigh
"There is….. something I have to look after." Tai looks over his shoulder at the Window where Yang is "...and I have faith they'll be okay
Halfway across Rement Team RNJRS are still on the march to Haven Adceamdy in Mistral and things are more or less better for them
"Come on guys!" Ruby Shouted holding a map. "If we pick up the pace we can hit the next town before sunset!"
"Assuming it's still there." Daven dejectedly said
"Of course, it'll be there!" Ruby trying to assure him she looks at the map. "This one's supposed to be pretty big...Hee...gan..bay..na?"
"Higanbana." Ren correctly pronounced. "Its a well-protected village with a popular inn."
"Which means...No camping in the rain!" Nora cheered
"See! Everything's gonna be fine Daven." Ruby cheering him up
"You know, we've had a lot of ups and downs" Jaune said "but things could've been a lot said Really thought we see more Grimm"
"As Did I." Ren agreeing
"Or maybe we have a 'Guardian' watching over us." Daven playfully suggested
"Ha! Guardian." Nora laughed "Good one Daven! Anyway To Higanbana!
"To Higanbana!" they all cheered
As they all head to the next village away from them on top of a mountain a Beowolf stabbed through the back of its skull, pulling out his large sword is Qrow. He looks down at the Team with a chuckle
" Hmph...I'm no Guardian Lightbulb"

Team RNJRS made it to Higanbana and just in time as it started to rain down hard. They checked in at the Inn, and across the from it is a dingy bar and in that bar is the Reckless Rouge Qrow sitting at a table. He has been keeping an eye on Team RNJRS watching them afar helping them without them even noticing but things haven't been easy on him as well. The closer they're getting to Mistral the more dangerous Grimm he encounters along with a few other things but he's a little glad that Daven is doing this.
Just then a waitress places a small drink on his table
"Oh I didn't-"
"From the woman upstairs." The Waitress said "Red eyes. Said you wouldn't mind the bottom shelf."
Qrow looks upstairs, He has a feeling who ordered this for him he clenched his fist
"Thanks"
"But I went ahead and gave you top. Lucky you!" The Waitress said with smile and giving him a wink make the Reckless Rouge smile.
The Waitress left table Qrow made a deep sigh might as well see who this lady is. He picked up his drink and head upstairs. To the second floor Qrow sees a familiar face across from him it's his older sister Raven Branwen sitting at a table waiting for him
"Hello, brother."
"Raven."
Both mutually greeted each other. Qrow walks up to her table before he sat down, he glanced down at his sisters Grimm mask then at her. Raven groaned in annoyance at this she moved out of the way as Qrow finally took his seat
"So….. what do you want?" Qrows asks
"A girl can't just catch up with her family?"
"She can, but you're not. How about we get on with it?" he asks before taking a sip "Unless you plan on keeping these coming."
"...Does she have it?"
Qrow didn't reply right away he twirled drink a bit
"Did you know Yang lost her arm?" He asks
"That's not-"
"Rhetorical question. I know you know. It's just obnoxious that you bring up family then carry on like your own daughter doesn't exist!"
"I saved her."
"Once."Qrow points out" Because that was your rule right? Real Mom of the Year material. "He mocked waving a hand around
Raven grabbed her brother's wrist looking directly him in the eyes "I told you Beacon would fall, and it did. I told you Ozpin would fail, and he ...Salem….have it?"
"I thought you weren't interested in all of that."
"I just want to know what we are up against".
"And which 'we are you referring to?" Raven grits her teeth at his words she lets go of his wrist
"You should come back, Raven." Qrow twirling his drink again "The only way we beat her is by working together. All of us."
"You're the one who left." Raven said " The tribe raised us...and you turned your back on them"
"….They were killers and thieves."
"They were your family"
"You have a very skewed perception of that word."
Raven grits her teeth and rose from her seat "I lead our people now. And as leader I will do everything in my power to ensure our survival".
"I've noticed. The people of Shion did too"
"The Weak Die. The Strong Lives. Those are the rules." Raven stated
"Sarah...would disagree with that rule. "The mention of their old friend made Raven twitched "And you've certainly got someone strong on your side. I've seen the damage."
Raven turns his head away crossing her arms together "We couldn't have known the Grimm would set in as quickly as they did"
"I'm not talking about the Grimm." Qrow said "and I'm not talking about you either."
Raven turns around looking disappointed at her brother she places a hand on her mask "If you don't know where the Relic is, then we have nothing left to talk about."
Qrow then suddenly puts his hand on her Grimm Masks stopping her "I don't know where the Spring Maiden is either. But if you do, I need you to tell me."
"And why would I tell you?" She asks pulling her masks away from him
"Because without her we're all going to die."
Raven lets out a small laugh. "And which 'we' are you referring to?" Just as she about to use her portal semblance to leave there was something she had to know
"Daven...how is he?" Raven suddenly asks earning a surprising look from her brother
"Why you ask of him?"
"Can't his Aunt ask how her nephew doing?" Raven asks
Qrow just blankly stared at her did Raven really refer to herself to be Davens Aunt? "Just because Sarah named him after you doesn't mean You're his Aunt and he's doing fine"
Raven just nods her head at Qrows word "So it seems for now but I'm really disappointed in him he's really going with it even after everything he has seen….He's really like his mother"
"Well at least he's trying to do something about it….. unlike someone." Qrow narrowed his eyes at Raven
Raven chuckles at the thought of it "Shame really he could've run away from all it, he would have lived longer...I even offered him to join the tribe"
"Sarah wouldn't want that for him!" Qrow rose up from his seat and slammed his hand on the table almost angry at her for doing such a thing.
Raven just stood there not surprised at his reaction but rather amused by it "Well Sarah isn't here anymore and with her choosing Daven to be a Guardian he'll end up 6 feet in the ground soon after all that has happened. I wanted to ensure his survival but it's too late now"
Qrow looked at his sister's shock. He never seen Raven act like this let alone for someone she barely knows "His survival? To what? Make him a bandit like you? You never care about anyone other than yourself and the tribe"
"I don't but with him, he won't last long if he continues siding with you and Ozpin. Does he even still trust you, little brother?" Raven asks making Qrow fall back "After you,Ozpin and the others all hid the fact what happened to Sarah from him all those years?"
Qrow could only stand in silences he doesn't have an answer for that it's true he doesn't know Daven trust him or not and Raven could tell by his face
"Hmph I guess not but whenever you see him again tell him I said Hi." Raven turns around and puts her Grimm Mask on she slashed a portal open and left.
Qrow let's out sigh this troubles him to think Raven of all people would offer that 'Lightbulb' to join the tribe knowing his sister she's not like that, he took a sip of his drink to put his tension as ease. He then heard a gasp behind him getting his attention. It's the same Waitress from before she looked in horror at what she saw
"Can you make this double a please?"

Alright Done. No screen time for our Blue Hero but we got a little more insight of Raven motivates for wanting Daven to join her bandit tribe and some history about Davens mom with her relationships with TEAM STRQ
