A Lot of unexpected things has happened to Team RNJRS they were suddenly attacked by a crazy man Tyrian who wanted to kidnap Ruby and Daven for his Goddess Salem, him calling Daven a Guardian almost nearly killing him, and Qrow showing out of nowhere saving them but not without Tyrian leaving a scratch on him
Sitting by a campfire Qrow patched up and so was Daven but he still felt off within himself he still can't even summon an orb or anything. The Reckless Rogue told the rest of Team RNJRS what was going on and not to his surprise they were shocked they all sat silence
"Really? no questions?" Qrow asks with his flask out he expected more from them
"Of course we have questions." Jaune said "This is just… a lot to take in.
"Sure, of course."
"So theses….Maidens." Ruby spoke up "They're powerful fighters that don't need Dust to use magic."
"Yeah."
"And there are four of them?" Nora asks
"Yup. Always."
"Which means that, whenever one of them dies, the power transfers to someone- a female- someone they care about?" Ren asks
"Correct." Qrow nods his head " Whoever was in their thoughts last. Important option, it's' someone we can trust. Regardless, their souls become combined, in an away
"And Daven is….?" Everyone turned their heads to our one silver eye he didn't say anything he sat there looking away from them with a guilty look on his face
"A Guardian." Qrow answered "Protector of the Season Maidens and the People of Remanent able to wield the magic of Light selected by the previous one. Like his mom before him"
"You knew…." Jaune said glaring at his friend he couldn't believe it "….you knew all along did you?"
"Hey now don't be ganging up on him." Qrow trying to ease the tension before something bad happens " He didn't know much before what happened at Beacon, I told him I'll be the one who tells you all this...when the time was right...frankly, I wish it was better than this."
Jaune clenched his fist at what he hears. Daven could only stare at his friend he wanted to say something to him about why he did it but couldn't muster the courage.
"At Beacon...The night the tower fell. You were trying to turn Pyrrha into one of them." Jaune glaring at Qrow
"The previous Fall Maiden, Amber, had been attacked." Qrow explaining what happened " She was young, inexperienced and her assailant, who we now know as Cinder, somehow managed to steal some of her power, but not all of it. We were afraid that if we didn't do something the rest would go to her as well."
"So you forced it on Pyrrha." Jaune retorted
"We didn't force her. We explained the situation and gave her a choice and she chose. You and Daven were there and heard her"
Jaune didn't say anything he glared at Daven one more time before he got up and walked away from the campfire feeling in rage at what he hears
"That guy." Ruby speaking up "Tyrian, Why was he after me and Daven?
Qrow chuckled a little at her question "Well you 2 definitely make yourselves a target back what you 2 did at Beacon. Both of you having silver eyes is a rare trait and the fact that you 2 were able to use them attracted powerful people who are upset."
The Reckless Rouge took a sip of his flask "Not many people know about the silver eyes let alone someone only having 1." He said eyeing Daven "But those that do aren't very happy that one has surfaced. That's why I've been keeping an eye on you. To keep you safe. All of you. while Having Daven being your…. well Guardian in a way"
"Then why not just travel with us?" Ruby asks "It seems like that would've been way easier?"
"He was using you as bait" Jaune retorted
"Look..I wouldn't put it like that" Qrow trying to explain the situation "...It's complicated"
Jaune snapped his tongue "What is all of this? Daven and Ruby are being hunted, Daven's a...a Guardian? Schools are being attacked, all for what?! What is the point of all of this? Will you just tell us what's going on?!
Qrow sigh at Jaunes outburst "Would you sit down? You're stressing me out, kid.
Jaune didn't lash back he sat back down on the log with his arms cross
Qrow took a look at his flask "Not many people are super religious these days." He puts his drink down and looks at Team RNJRS with a long tale
"This world's been around for a long time, long enough that people have created dozen of gods But if you believe Ozpin, two of them are actually real."
He told the rest of Team RNJRS the same thing he told Daven. Two brothers the older one, the God of Light found joy creating life and the younger brother the God of Darkness found joy in destruction and was the one who created the creatures of Grimm. They were the ones who created humanity before they left Remnant; they also left behind the 4 powerful relics Choice, Knowledge, Creation, and Destruction all hidden at every Academy across the four Kingdoms to serve as a fortress to guard them and away from 'her'.
"So yeah" Qrow finishing the story. "That's that"
"Her…" Ruby getting her uncle's attention "You mean Salem?"
"That's right. Not much is known about her and quite frankly, that is not what matters. What matters right now is that she wants the relics, and if she gets them, it is not going to end well."

Team RNJRS took a moment to process the whole thing it all sounds insane to them. Maidens? Relics? Guardian? It didn't make any sense to them.
"Okay...So, let's say we believe all this." Jaune trying to assess the whole situation "That there is this crazy evil being behind these attacks, not some thugs trying to become powerful. Why doesn't the world know? Why isn't Atlas going after them, or Mistral?
"And why aren't we in more of a hurry to get to Haven?" Nora asks, sounding worried and afraid. "Shouldn't we be getting a message? What if they're next!"
"The headmaster over there saw what happened he's not dumb." Qrow calming the group "He'll be on his guard, and besides it takes time to mobilize forces like that. Do you really think they planned out that attack on Beacon overnight? And to answer your question, It's the same reason we keep quiet about the Maidens if the whole knew about the relics, about Salem, there would be chaos. We'd have another Great War on our hands, and this time, you'd have to fight.
"Look I understand how you all feel I had the same question as well when I first heard it so did the Lightbulb too. But old Oz would always put his foot down and say 'We can't start a panic.'" Qrow nonchalant quoted before shrugging his shoulder and pulling out his flask again ."Hmph, How many times I've heard that from him?"
"Salem's smart. She works from the shadows, using others to get what he wants so that when it comes time to place the blame, we can only point at each other. "The Reckless Rogue looks at the shattered moon "She's trying to divide us- humanity. And so far, She's done a pretty damn good job."
"Okay...what do we do?" Ruby asks with a sounding determined to help
Qrow lets out a small laugh "To be honest….I really don't know."
His answer wasn't assuring to the group
"Ozpin has put a lot of trust in the headmasters. Like I said, the schools are an important part of stopping Salem. Atlas is going to be on high alert after the last attack,and Vacuo is..well, 'll be hard to hire thieves and scoundrels to fight against other thieves and scoundrels."
"Take that, add in the fact that Cinder and her crew claim to be from Haven, and I think it's likely the next target. So, we're on our way to the headmaster, Lionheart. Haven't heard from him in a while, even before the attack. I'm hoping he has the answers."
Qrow got up stretching his arms "Alright...that's enough of that, it's time you kids get some sleep."
"Uncle Qrow" Ruby calling him
"Yeah?"
"This..This is a lot to take in, and it all sounds crazy, but….I'm willing to do whatever I can to help because I trust why couldn't you trust me? Why didn't you let Daven tell us? Why didn't you tell me? Why couldn't you just travel with us instead of all of this secrecy and..and"
Qrow stopped her "Look, this has nothing to do with trust. Daven...he..he didn't know how he can tell you I- Look it's a long story, okay."
"Really?" Nora speaking up " Now you're tired of telling us stories?"
Qrow sighed as he looks down at the fire. "Did you know that crows are a sign of back luck?. Old superstition, but it's how I got my name. See, some people can absorb electricity, some can burst into rose petals or even summon weapons out of nowhere and some people are just born unlucky."
"My semblance isn't like 's not exactly something I do. It's always there, whether I like it or not. I bring misfortune." Qrow laughs at himself. I guess you could call me a bad luck charm. Comes in real handy when I'm fighting an enemy, but it makes it a little hard on friends...and family"
"Well, you are just a real bundle of help, aren't you?" Jaune retorted
"….Yeah." Qrow then began to walk away from the camp
"Where are you going?"
"Taking a walk"
"There's nothing else you want to tell us?" Ruby asks
Qrow stops and sees a familiar bird landing on a branch looking down at him and probably amused right now. He sighs "Nope, Not tonight." He continues to walk away from the camp
When Qrow was away from them Ruby, Jaune, Ren, and Nora slowly turns their head to Daven
Daven didn't say a word he clenched his fist he looked at everyone's face who couldn't believe he was hiding such a secret from them. Disappointment, Shock, Resentment, and Anger at him he can feel it from them
"Daven..."Ruby calling him sounding worried "...you...you trust us do you?"
Her question felt like a ton of bricks landed on his shoulders. Daven does trust them with all his life he didn't want to hide it from them, he wanted to tell them what he is, what they're getting into, he really did but how could he? It all sounded crazy but that was the truth and now... now they all felt betrayed by him because he didn't tell them about it.
"Ruby I...I-"
"Ruby don't..."Jaune stopped him he looks at Daven. "He...He...didn't come to us."
Jaune's words pierced Davens' heart like a knife he can hear the betrayal in his voice it hurt more than anything else. Everything he was afraid is now happening and Jaune was right
"….Yeah...I didn't"

Well damn...Ruby,Jaune, Ren and Nora now know what is going on, what their blue friend is and Daven is taking it hard on himself.
