It was early in the morning, and Lincoln had heavy bags under his eyes. He could barely sleep last night, as he had felt as if something was watching him. Not to mention the disturbing dream he kept having, where a Shadow was watching over him, bearing red eyes and the fangs of a bat. He wakes up almost instantly before the figure lunges at him. In any case Lincoln was dead tired, yet, he was also on edge at the moment. He didn't want to do anything right, but the sound of someone knocking on his door made him jump to his feet and get in a boxing pose...

Lori:"Lincoln, breakfast is ready! Come down stairs!"

Lincoln:"(sigh) Give a minute. Be right down."

After getting dressed, Lincoln walks out of his room, but was still so tired that it felt like he was about to collapse on the floor...

Lynn:"Yo, Lincoln. Are you alright?"

Lincoln then suddenly straightened himself, looking like he was about to fight Lynn. She quickly backs up after being startled.

Lynn:"Whoa, easy there, slugger. I'll box with you later."

Lincoln:"Sorry, Lynn. Not feeling good right now?"

Lynn:"Didn't you get any sleep last night? Or did you stay up watching that dumb show?"

Lincoln'"(sigh) No, I didn't get any sleep last night. A creepy dream kept me awake."

Lynn:"Oh yeah? What was it about?"

Lincoln:"I'll tell you about it over breakfast."

Lynn:"That's if you're willing to stay awake during that time."

Lincoln:"Don't worry. I'll be fine."

He fell asleep at the table five minutes later. Luna gently shook him awake, and he suddenly got up and in a fighting pose again...

Luna:"Whoa, take it easy, bro."

Rita:"Lincoln, are you okay? Did you sleep at all last night?"

Lincoln:"Not even a little. I don't why, but I just kept having a disturbing dream. And now, I'm just...on edge."

Rita:"Why don't you go lay down on the couch, sweetie?"

Lincoln:"Thanks, mom."

Lola:"Hey, where's the rest of the food?!"

Only half of the children were served as Mr. Loud was distracted by something he saw outside?"

Rita:"Honey, what's so interesting that you can't serve the rest of our kids?"

Lynn Sr:"Oh, sorry honey. I was seeing that someone new was moving into the neighborhood."

Rita:"Really?"

Lynn Sr:"Yeah. They're moving into that house over there."

Taking a peak outside the window, Rita could see that her husband was right, as someone was unloading a few things from a truck and into one of the old houses not that far from theirs. It was a big house with some grey coloring, having two stories and was sitting at the edge of the street. Whoever was moving in, they could barely make it out who it was from where they were, but they could tell it was a man.

Rita:"Hmph. How about that?"

Lana:"Ugh, who cares about a new neighbor? We're starving over here!"

Rita:"Now, Lana. You gotta be patient. Since we have someone new in the neighborhood, why don't we go introduce ourselves later?"

Lynn Sr:"Yeah. We can have the feel welcomed!"

Lori:"Whatever."

Leni:"That sounds nice?"

Luna:"Fine be me."

Luan:"Just hoping they have a sense of humor."

Lynn:"Or if they like sports."

Lucy:"Or poetry."

Lana:"Just as long as they're nice."

Lola:"Yeah."

Lisa:"It would be the wise thing to do."

Lily:"Yah!"

Rita:"Well, that's all our daughters. What do you think, Lincoln?"

Lincoln:"Mmm...sure."

Lynn Sr:"Alright then. After breakfast, we're going go and say hello."

Suddenly, Lincoln was having a feeling deep down inside that this might not be a good idea. That danger was approaching and he needed to stop it.

Some time later, the Louds headed over to the new neighbors house. And upon getting a better look at, they can tell that the house itself surely was ancient. The wood was old and moss crept at the side, like the Earth was trying to begin to eat up the house. Despite that, it didn't stop the neighbor from moving in, as they already seemed to have finished unpacking. They say the person's car, being a vintage 1970s Ford, silver and strong looking...

Lynn:"That's a nice ride. Pretty old fashioned, but-"

?:"Excuse me? Can I help you with anything?"

The family's heads immediately turned to a man at the front door. They girls were kind of surprised upon seeing him. They weren't expecting him to look so charming and handsome. Though, he appeared to 25 years old, so such emotions they were feeling at the moment, they knew had to automatically shut down. Aside from that, he was a fine looking man, mainly dressed in a grey trench coat over a grey button vest and red shirt. Mr and Mrs Loud thought that he was a little over dressed, since it was merely October, and not really that cold right now. But, who were they to judge? Lincoln just thought the man looked nice. But he couldn't help but feel uneasy. Like there was something trying to warn him, but he just couldn't put his finger on it...

Rita:"Hello, sir. I'm Rita, this is my husband, Lynn and our kids. We're the Loud Family, and we just wanted to stop by and welcome you to the neighborhood!"

?:"Much appreciated then. It's been hard for me to find a good place to call home lately.

Lynn Sr:"Oh? And why is that?"

?:"I'm not that well fond of. I heard Royal Woods was good to place to be, so I thought it might check it out."

Lynn Sr:"Well, you're not wrong."

?:"So...are these all your kids?"

Rita:"Yep. This is Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn Lincoln, Lucy, Lana, Lola, Lisa and Lily."

?:"That's one interesting set of names."

Lynn Sr:"We get that a lot."

Lori:"You know, that's a big house you're moving into."

Lynn:"And pretty old too. Not in the best shape."

?:"Eh. Nothing a little manual labor can't fix. And I'm used to living in big places, I find it comfortable."

Rita:"Interesting...Oh, I just realized. We haven't gotten your name."

?:"Oh, right. You can call me Jerry. Jerry Dandridge."

Lynn Sr:"Well, Me. Dandridge, you seem like a very nice man. I hope we get to no each other better."

Jerry:"So do I. I love making new friends. And, just for the record, Lori, was it? I have a housemate coming over soon, so I won't be alone."

Lori:"That's nice."

Jerry:"And maybe I'll stop over at your house. Pay you a little visit."

Rita:"That'd be alright with us. We just hope you don't mind a little chaos."

Jerry:"Well, we've all been there, right?"

Luan:"Well, we tend to live it everyday."

Jerry shares a laugh with Luan, and Lincoln keeps thinking that this man's attitude and personality was almost too good to be true...

Rita:"Well, it was nice to meet you, Mr. Dandridge."

Jerry:"You as well, Mrs. Loud, and your family. Fill free to stop by any time."

As they were beginning to walk away, Lincoln noticed something. Jerry didn't move at all from where he stood. He stayed in the shade of his house and out of the sun, making it so that even though he stood before his family, he was still pretty hard to get a good look at him. It was then that Jerry then stopped Leni for a second...

Jerry:"Oh, and, um...Leni, right?"

Leni:"Yes?"

Jerry:"I was just gonna say that you rather nice. Like someone I used to know?"

Leni:"Really? Were they pretty?"

Jerry:"Beautiful. Much like yourself."

Leni:"(blushes) Oh...well, thank you, Mr. Dandridge."

Jerry:"And thank you for stopping over."

Lori:"Leni, come on!"

Leni:"Coming!"

And with that, the Louds headed to their can and drove back home, leaving Jerry to watch as they left, and he smiled...

Jerry:"(quietly) I hope to get to know you better, Leni... (Eyes flash red)"
