I wanted to actually have this story before or by Halloween. But, seeing as I have been procrastinating, I gotta get to it eventually.

After a quick phone call, Lincoln and his friends talked to the Monster Hunter, Charley Brewster. He almost hung up when he had heard that they were kids, but when Lincoln had mentioned the name of the Vampire they were dealing with, Charley allowed him to continue talking. Eventually, he told them to meet up with him somewhere in Royal Woods. Lincoln suggested the park, to which the hunter agreed on. Later that day, Lincoln headed over to park to meet with the man, but he seemed to have been arriving late...

Ronnie Anne:"It's been two hours."

Lincoln:"Should've figured he wouldn't take the word of a kid."

Clyde:"Sorry, Lincoln. I know what this meant to you."

Lincoln:"...No you don't. You two just think I'm crazy."

Ronnie Anne:"A little. But that's not to say that we don't trust you enough to go along with this."

Lincoln:"Thanks. But this was a waste of our time. He's not showing up."

?:"Well, actually...I've been waiting for you."

All three kids looked up to see a tall man staring down at them. A man with curly grey hair and beard, wearing a brown trench coat over a red and white flannel shirt. A golden cross hung from his neck and he carried a stuff pack over his back. He kept a stern, serious look on his face as he seemed to be staring a hole into each of the kids...

Lincoln:"...Mr. Brewster?"

Brewster:"In the flesh. I'm guessing you must be my caller?"

Lincoln:"That's right. I'm Lincoln. These are my friends Ronnie Anne and Clyde."

Clyde:"Hi."

Ronnie Anne:"Hey."

Brewster:"Pleasure. Now, let's just get down to business."

Lincoln'"Right. So, I do need help with a vampire."

Brewster:"You said his name was Jerry Dandridge, right?"

Lincoln:"That's right, and he almost killed one night ago. I fear that-"

Brewster:"Jerry Dandridge has been dead for years?"

Lincoln:"...What?"

Ronnie Anne:"What do you mean?"

Brewster:"...It was years ago. I was in the same situation as you once, having a monster to deal with, seeking out the help of a supposed vampire hunter."

Clyde:"Supposed? So...Peter Vincent was a fake?"

Brewster:"At first. He was just an actor, and Fright Night was his thing."

Clyde:"Heh. I knew it."

Ronnie Anne:"Not now, Clyde."

Brewster:"Dandridge was actually the first vampire that we had taken down together. And even then, it was not easy. Not only was he insanely powerful, but he had his own personal bodyguard, and even managed to turn my friends into monsters. My Ex, Amy Peterson, and my best friend, Ed Thompson."

Lincoln:"...Ed wouldn't happen to have been a guy who looked like he was only semi-sane, would he?"

Brewster:"...So you met Evil Ed, huh?"

Ronnie Anne:"Evil Ed?"

Brewster:"A little nickname we gave him during the time of our youth. Jerry had turned him into a vampire. I thought I'd seen the last of him when Peter had killed him, but I was wrong. Ed's been a pain in my...rear for a while now. I'm actually getting tired of hunting him down."

Lincoln:"Okay, so that makes vampires we have to deal with."

Clyde:"Hold on, you said that Mr. Dandridge has been dead for years. How is it that he's back now?"

Brewster:"A certain cult has been in keen interest in Dandridge for a long time now."

Lucy:"The Legion of the Endless Night."

Lincoln, Clyde and Ronnie Anne screamed in shock when Lucy had suddenly shown up. Charley, on the other hand, merely turned his head in surprise...

Brewster:"Where the heck did she come from?!"

Lincoln:"That's...my sister. Lucy."

Lucy:"I've read about you, Mr. Brewster. You seem too good to be a true vampire hunter."

Brewster:"Believe me, kid. I've been doing this for a long time. And the Dandridge clan are some of the vampires I am most familiar with."

Lincoln:"Wait, there have been others with that name?"

Brewster:"A few. But I've been hunting down for years. If this Dandridge is the same as I've faced before, then I know how we can kill him."

Ronnie Anne:"So you guys are actually gonna along with this?"

Lincoln:"Ronnie, Dandridge is really a vampire and I'm not expecting you to believe me. We have to do this, or he might keep on terrorizing Royal Woods."

Brewster:"This has to be done."

Ronnie Anne:"..."

Lincoln:"No one's asking you to come along with. But we have to do this."

Ronnie Anne:"...If this is for real, then I might just help out any way I can."

Clyde:"Me too. Whether this is for real or not, I'm with you buddy."

Lucy:"And I was already with you to begin with."

Lincoln:"Thanks you guys."

Brewster:"Do any of you kids even know how to deal with a vampire?"

Lucy:"Of course."

Ronnie Anne:"How hard can it be?"

Brewster:"Extremely. The first time I faced Dandridge, I barely survived with my life. It took years of experience to make me the hunter I am now."

Clyde:"That's great! Now, we're just gonna need wooden stakes, Holy Water, some crosses-"

Brewster:"There's actually a bit of a trick when it comes to crosses."

Lincoln:"What do you mean?"

Brewster:"You can't just wave a cross in front of a vampire and expect it to repel him. You need to have faith for that work."

Ronnie Anne:"Did you learn that the hard way?"

Brewster:"Sort of. Peter Vincent did."

Lincoln:"Alright, looks like we're slaying a vampire."

Little did they know that someone was listening on their little conversation. It was Lori, who couldn't believe that her brother was going to do something so crazy as to kill someone. Let alone, someone who he thinks is a vampire...

Lori:"This had gone on long enough. I gotta find some way to make Lincoln stop harassing that man. I think I have a solution."

Later that night, Lincoln, Lucy, Clyde, Ronnie Anne and Charley head over to Dandridge's house. Lori and Leni decided to come along for the ride, with Lori bringing with her a some 'Holy Water.' Upon knocking on the door, the were created by Ed...

Ed:"Brewster?"

Charley:"Hey, Eddy. How you been?"

Ed:"F-Fine. Fancy meeting you here. Still in the vampire business?"

Charley:"You know it."

Ed:"I see you brought some friends. You're that kid from the Loud house."

Lincoln:"Yeah. Listen, no hard feelings about-"

Ed:"Ah, don't worry about it. Happens more often than you think."

The response was enough for all of them to tilt their heads. Even if they weren't vampires, the fact that they've had the cops called on them before is enough to suspicious about...

Ed:"(coughs) So, what can I help you with?"

Charley:"We're here to see Mr. Dandridge."

Ed:"...Of course. He's by the fire."

Allowing them to enter his home, Ed closed the door behind him as they all entered. He secretly glared at them, with his eyes flashing red, knowing exactly why they're here. Putting that aside, he followed them into the lounge, where Mr. Dandridge was sitting by the fire. He was certainly surprised when he looked into the eyes of Charley...

Jerry:"... Charley, is that you?"

Brewster:"Hello, Jerry. It's been a long time."

Lori:"You two know each other?"

Brewster:"Oh. Well, I knew his...father."

Jerry:"Yes. And he was also there when my father died, but that's a...story for another day. Why are you all here? Oh, wait. I may already know."

Brewster:"Being a monster hunter, I'm suspecting you to be one, Mr. Dandridge."

Jerry:"Well, I've been down that road before. Wrongly accused of being such things."

Lori:"But that's why we're come. We're literally here to prove that you're not what they say you are,.and we can put this all behind us."

Jerry:"I like the sound of that. You're a very smart woman."

Lori:"Thank you."

Jerry:"So, how are we gonna do this?"

Brewster:"The only fashion way."

It was then that Charley pulled out a vile of water. Something that Jerry frowned upon as he saw it. But then, he let a small laugh...

Jerry:"Ah, the old Holy Water test. A classic."

Brewster:"Courtesy of Lori here. Although, it as very unnecessary."

Jerry:"Really? I see."

Taking the vile, Jerry has a look at it and then points it to the fire. The kids weren't sure what he was doing, but Charley knew all to well what it was. Holy Water tends to glow or become pure white when a vampire is near it. Charley could see that the water wasn't doing any of that. Lori had lied to him...

Jerry:"Well, let's get this done with."

And with that, Dandridge takes a swig and the kids wait for moment. When nothing happens to Dandridge, Lincoln was left shocked while the others were left disappeared...

Jerry:"There. You see?"

Lincoln:"That's not possible."

Lucy:"Vampires can't drink blessed water. Are you sure it was blessed, Lori?"

Lori:"Of course. Had the Father bless it by Saint Mary."

Charley:"...You're lying."

Lori:"Excuse me?"

Lincoln:"If he's not a vampire. Let him touch...this."

It was then that Lincoln had pulled out a cross. Nobody had saw, but Jerry had backed away when he saw the cross, but was relieved when Lori had snatched it from her brother...

Lincoln:"That's enough, Lincoln! You already made a fool of yourself today. Literally no need to make things worse."

Jerry:"Yes, Lincoln. You've already caused enough pain for everybody. You wouldn't want to cause more, would you?"

Lincoln:"...No."

Jerry:"Well, I'm glad we have this all settled then. I honestly can't thank you enough for doing this, Charley."

Charley:"Not a...problem at all old friend."

As they were about to be shown to the door, Lori took her phone for moment. As Jerry continued talking to everyone, Lori had noticed one things, the reflection on her phone didn't show Jerry in it. Wide-eyed in disbelief, Lori backed at Jerry and then at her phone. It was the same, no reflection. Caught in shock, she ended up dropping her phone, which had cracked on the ground. It was enough to get everyone's attention...

Jerry:"...Is there a problem, Lori?"

Lori:"N-N-No, it's...(awkward laughter) It's just my clumsiness. Sorry for that. We'll just being going! Thank you for having us! Have a nice day! See ya!"

Rushing everyone outside, Lori got everyone into the car as quickly as possible. Jerry saw as they were leaving and then turned Ed, who knew what was going on...

Ed:"...She dropped her phone."

Dandridge:"Much like how Vincent dropped his mirror."
