Chapter 2: You're a hero?

Last time: Jackson glared at us and growled, "What the hell are you guys doing here?

Now:

Ethan POV:

As much as I hated to admit it, Jackson scared me. A lot. As he glared at me with his sea green eyes that resembled a storm I couldn't help but shrink away.

Finally, Annabeth, my amazing and beautiful girlfriend stepped forward and said, "We followed you here."

Jackson turned his glare on Annabeth. "Fortunately, you can't be here. Hecate? Memory potion."

One girl stepped forward still glaring at us and gave Jackson a bottle of blue liquid.

"What? No!" Drew cried.

A man that was- "HOLY FREAKING GOD!" I screamed. "YOU'RE HALF HORSE!"

His tail swished. He cleared his throat as we stared at him with a mix of horror and shock. He turned to Jackson.

"Percy, we didn't let them in. They came in by themselves."

Jackson's eyes widened. "They're demigods?" He asked horrified.

The horse-man nodded gravely.

He turned to us. "How much do you know about Greek Mythology?"

Hazel stepped forward. "You mean Zeus, Artemis, Hera, those guys?" She asked.

All the kids and the horse-man looked up nervously as the sky rumbled. He looked back at us. "Well all of those a real and you guys are a child of one."

On cue, signs went off over our head. Over Annabeth's head there was an owl. Over my head there was an apple branch. (A/N This is actually Nemesis's sacred... thing.) Over Jason's head there was a lightning bolt. Drew suddenly had a dress on but her face and hair didn't change much. Over Hazel's head there was a skull. Over Octavian's head there was a sun. (A/N In this Octavian is a child of Apollo not a legacy. Also Jason and Thalia are not full-blooded siblings. They are half-siblings.) Over Will's head there was a sun as well.

We stared at each other in shock. If we had any doubts before we didn't anymore. Immediately complaining and whining broke out.

Some kids that looked just like Annabeth said, "Ugh I have her as my sibling?"

Another bunch of kids gestured at me and said, "He bullied Percy! Why do we have to have him?" They said him like it was poison in their mouth.

Thalia was staring at Jason with disgust.

A pretty looking girl that had her hair braided with feathers scrunched up her nose in Drew's direction.

The goth boy that we saw with Jackson earlier grunted at Hazel.

A bunch of cheery looking kids were now glaring at Octavian and Will. Both were shuffling uncomfortably.

The horse man cleared his throat. "All hail," He gave us a look silently asking for our names. "Annabeth Chase." "Will Solace." "Hazel Leveqsue." "Octavian." "Jason Grace." "Ethan Nakurma." "Drew."

He nodded. "All hail Annabeth Chase daughter of Athena, Ethan Nakurma son of Nemesis, Will Solace son of Apollo, Hazel Levequse daughter of Pluto, Jason Grace son of Jupiter, Drew daughter of Aphrodite, and Octavian son of Apollo."

Some of the campers knelt, some inclined their head, some just stood still, some glared at us, and sone rolled their eyes. Looks like we weren't liked a lot.

I blinked. So I just found out that my mom was a all powerful goddess and no one wanted me as their sibling. Sure, because this happens everyday.

The horse-man stepped forward. "I am Chiron." "Yes that Chiron." He added as Annabeth opened her mouth to ask. "Since you are demigods, I can teach you to be great heroes like Percy here!"

I stared at Jackson. I could only think of saying one thing. "You're a hero?!"
