A few minutes later, Briar had pulled Apple into an empty classroom where she sat the blond down in a chair then sat next to her.

"Alright, spill," said Briar.

"Raven got mad last night because I said something stupid, and when she went to walk away I grabbed her shoulder," said Apple who got chocked on the next worlds as tears started to well up from remembering what she had seen.

"And?" asked Briar who was confused and worried by why Apple would be crying.

"The back of her dress moved and I saw tons of scars," said Apple. Headmaster Grimm was walking by at this point and overheard this.

"Godmother, do you think the Evil Queen hurt her?" asked a horrified Briar. They then heard the door opening.

"No, she never raised a hand against Raven," said Headmaster Grimm as he entered the room, making sure to close it properly so no one could overhear what he was about to tell them.

"And I also take it that Raven told you about me," said Headmaster Grimm as he looked at Apple.

"That's what made her mad," said Apple while wiping her tears away. .

"What are you two talking about?" asked Briar.

"Headmaster Grimm is Raven's grandfather," said Apple, surprising Briar.

"But more importantly, you said that her mother did not make those scars," said Apple as she turned her attention back to the Headmaster.

"Yes, you see, Grimhild was put in the mirror right after Raven was born, she never even got the right to hold her daughter," said Headmaster Grimm.

"Which is why I always thought that it was too much, she even got a longer sentence because she refused to go in until she got to hold Raven, they ended up forcing her into the mirror," said Headmaster Grimm.

"That's horrible," said Briar.

"But how did she get those scars?" asked Apple.

"When people found out who her mother is, they couldn't throw rocks fast enough," said Headmaster Grimm. This made Apple and Briar's blood run cold.
