Two days had passed since Stephanie and Randy kissed. They hadn't talked since then. Stephanie had been making Paul sleep on the couch since the party. They weren't talking. Stephanie was at the arena in her office. She was going over some papers at her desk. There was a knock at the door.

"Come in." She said. Randy walked in and closed the door. "Hi."

"Hi." "Can we talk?"

"Yeah." "I think I know what it's about."

"I'm sorry." "I didn't plan it." "I wasn't trying to take advantage of you."

"I know." "It can't ever happen again."

"That goes without saying."

"Did you tell anyone?"

"No."

"Good."

"Are we still friends?"

"Yeah."

"Good." How are you?"

"Well Paul and I aren't speaking right now."

"Things will get better."

It was around one o'clock in the morning when Paul came back to the hotel. He'd gone to the strip club with Randy and Ric. He was drunk. He went in the bedroom and got in bed next to Stephanie. She was asleep.

"Stephanie." He said. He kissed her. A few seconds later she started kissing him back. She could taste alcohol. "I'm sorry baby." "I love you." He mumbled against her lips. He took off her top. As they made love she hoped it was going to be a turning point and not just the booze.

Randy and Ric were still at the strip club.

"What's going on with you Randy?" Ric asked. "You don't seem into it tonight."

"I just have something on my mind."

"What?"

"I can't tell you."

"Why?"

"I can't go into specifics."

"You don't have to."

"I'm attracted to someone I shouldn't be."

"Why shouldn't you be?"

"She's married." "Her and her husband have been having problems, she's been confiding in me and we've gotten close." "We've always been friends but I've gotten to know her more." "We kissed two nights ago and I can't stop thinking about her." "I know nothing can happen but it's driving me crazy." "I've been fantasizing about her." "I know it's wrong but I can't help it."

"Well take my advice." "I've had affairs with married women and it never ends well." "Don't do it."
