Osborn screamed, weirdly, and thrashed.
POW! Doc Ock cracked Osborn across the face, sending him crashing into an unbroken glass wall. He sagged to the ground, weakened.
As Harry, Reiko, and Kuri race out of the elevator, Doc Ock pressed in for the kill. He strode forward quickly, tentacles waving over his head.
"You stole my work! You stole my life! And now I'm going to take yours!" Doc Ock said.
He picked up a chunk of debris-
"With my hands!"
-a huge potted plant.
"THESE hands! These arms!"
-and two enormous chunks of rubble.
"THE ARMS THAT MADE ME A MONSTER!"
He raised it all up over his head, to bring it crashing down on Osborn.
Spider-Man, rolling on the ground, holding his bloodied hands in pain, watched weakly.
"Stop him! Please!" Harry said.
Spider-Man turned towards Harry who was beseeching him.
"I'll kill you!" Green Goblin said.
"He's my father..." Harry said.
Hey man, Spidey can relate to that. He rolled over, flipped his wrists up, sent out two heavy strands of webbing which THWIP THWIP THWIPPED around the tentacles, binding them together.
Doc Ock raged, he lost his grip on the chunks of glass and cement, giving Osborn the split-second he needed to roll out of the way as they crashed to the ground around him.
"NOOOO!" Doc Ock said.
He had one tentacle still free, and he used it to smack Spidey across the chest. Spider-Man leapt to his feet, fought back. As Spider-Man and Doc Ock mixed it up, Norman Osborn, unnoticed for the moment, rolled free, picked up his helmet, and slipped it back over his head.
Now the Goblin again, he raised his wrist, punched a button on a small touch panel there. A short distance away, the Glider responded to the remote command, spinning around and heading back for him.
Spider-Man got hold of the last of Ock's tentacles, webbed it up with the other three. Doc Ock screamed and struggled, but the webbing held. That stuff was strong.
As the Glider scooted past the Goblin, he leapt neatly upon it, a rider jumping onto a runaway horse, and barrelled straight toward Kuri.
He scooped her up as he roared past, bringing her aboard the Glider.
Kuri screamed. She was unable to hurt the Green Goblin with her powers, as he was still human after all and she could not use her powers to hurt anyone..
"KURI!" Spider-Man cried.
The Goblin twitched his head, the Glider spun neatly and
accelerated, out into the empty sky.
Spider-Man didn't hesitate, he shot a web out at the departing Glider. It struck the underside of the Glider, spun out for a moment, the line stretched taut and Spider-Man was jerked off the ground.
Over the city The Goblin shoued down at Spider-Man as he dangled from the web.
"LET'S SEE HOW THIS SPIDER FLIES!"
