The next day, Tammy was getting her costume ready for the big party. She thought it would be fun to dress up as her favorite monster...Frankie Stein! She admired her white and black wig, blue tartan dress, long white socks and blue loafers. It wasn't exactly like Frankie's clothing, but it was close enough.

"This is great! I look just like Frankie! She's going to love this!" Tammy was so excited for tonight. "Y'know, Frankie's probably the only person I know who can really rock tartan! Her schoolgirl style always makes me feel smart!"

Tammy heard her phone ping and saw her get a text from Helen. It said that everything is ready for the big party tonight. Tammy smiled and put her phone in her purse. Her eyes traveled to her vanity and saw the decorated framed picture of her best human friends Patti and Brenda.

A sigh escaped Tammy. She really wished she could hang out with her human friends this Halloween. But she had to keep her monster secret from them.

Tammy went out the door and was ready to party. She went to the garage to get her bike, but for some strange reason, her bike was gone!

"Where's my bike?" Tammy looked around the house, but her bike was nowhere to be found. Tammy balled her fists. Some jerk must have stolen her bike. She had no choice but to walk.

As Tammy walked, she texted Frankie to let her know she'll be running a bit late. When she came into the woods, she heard groaning. She turned and saw the Zomboys! And they were lurching toward her!

Tammy took off to run, but more Zomboys were in her path! She ran in another direction as the Zomboys chased her, unaware that she was getting farther away from Monster High.

Outside Monster High, two figures walked toward the spooky looking school. They were both young girls around Tammy's age. One was dressed as a white rabbit wearing a waistcoat while the other was dressed as Alice from Alice in Wonderland.

"Are you sure this is the place, Brenda?" asked the rabbit.

The girl dressed as Alice, who was named Brenda, looked at the invitation she was holding. "Yeah, according to the invite, it is." She looked up at the creepy castle-like building. "Gotta say, Tammy picked one heck of a place for a Halloween party." She looked at the rabbit. "You ready, Patti?"

Patti was a little nervous. This place looked really creepy, even for a Halloween party. But Halloween was just make-believe spooky fun. So, what could go wrong? She nodded and walked with Brenda to the large, heavy doors.

Brenda knocked on the door. "Hello? Anyone here?" she called out.

A few moments later, nothing.

Then, the doors slowly opened, revealing the oddly welcoming darkness inside.

"Whoa!" Brenda said in awe as she walked inside.

"I don't know about this..." Patti said warily. But Brenda took her hand and pulled her friend inside.

"Oh, come on! Don't be chicken!" Brenda said as she tugged Patti through the door.

As the girls ventured into the school, the door slowly closed behind them, revealing it was Moanica who opened the door for them. She grinned to herself. "Phase one: complete. Now, for some real Halloween fun..." Her eyes glowed with ghoulish anticipation.
