Lucy's P.O.V

It's been a few weeks since Erza asked me to go on a job, and I snapped at Natsu. I had been taking some solo jobs to take time to think about everything that had been going on. I had been taking simple jobs, just stuff like finding something for someone, or fighting a simple bandit group. I had barely been using any of my keys either, it felt like training with my whip almost.

I walked down a paved stone road, Plue by my side. The sky was a dark orange as the sun setted, and I went to go back to a hotel. I was just so confused on who I wanted. Maybe I should just stay single? But, I don't want to be single, so what do I want?

Laxus's P.O.V.

I sat on the second floor of the guild's building, thinking hard. I need to confess to Lucy, and make her mine before anyone else can lay their slimy hands on her. I stood up, and left the guild, going to look for Natsu. As I passed through the guild, I heard Cana's drunken ramblings, which caused me to sigh.

As I walked through Magnolia, looking for the stupid fire breathing idiot, I saw a bit of pink hair out of the corner of my eye. I whirled around, and screamed Natsu's name, getting his attention.

"Laxus, what do you want?" Natsu said to me, as he turned to face me. I stared at him coldly.

"We need to have a little. . . talk. I know what you want, you want Lucy to be yours. It isn't gonna happen, kid." I said harshly, which got Natsu really upset. He looked like he was fuming.

"She's mine, I'll make her mine! Just you wait, I'll prove you wrong, if it's the last thing I do." Natsu screamed at me, and ran off. I sighed and went back to my home.

Gray's P.O.V.

Well, I haven't heard much from the lovestruck group of mages, or Lucy for the past few weeks. Maybe they've given up. I highly doubt it though. I mean, those idiots will probably fight to the death about it. As for Lucy, she's been taking a lot of jobs lately. Maybe to escape them, maybe to think, who knows. I don't, that's for sure. Well, whatever she chooses to do, I'll stand by her, cause that's what a good friend would do.

A/N: I do not own Fairy Tail. On another note, After RIvals, I will be creating another story, and I have multiple ideas, I just need your opinions on it.

Idea 1 is a simple one about how leaves the guild to get stronger on her own, and comes back a completely new person.

Idea 2 is making a story revolving around the custom characters I made for one of my stories, Vengeance (still would contain canon characters)

Idea 3 would be making a high school AU, because I'm an unoriginal person and want to try that.
